Analisis pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa kedua di sekolah Pattanakarn Ying Sueksa Thailand
Get PDFThis research was motivated by the existence of Indonesian language learning for Thai students, which took place in Bangkok Thailand. In the learning process, of course, there are problems that hinder student learning because Indonesian language learning is carried out in Thailand. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This study aims to describe the Indonesian language learning process for students in Bangkok, where these students have a mother tongue with Thai and describe the obstacles that exist in the language learning process. The method of collecting data in this research is the method of listening, observation and interviews. The results of this study conclude as follows: 1) The process of learning Indonesian at school by means of; (a) memorize vocabulary (b) read Indonesian texts, and (c) do practice questions. 2) The obstacles experienced in learning Indonesian are; (a) difficulties in pronouncing some letters in Indonesian, (b) students lack confidence in speaking Indonesian, (c) inadequate attitudes and habits of students, (d) students' cultural and language backgrounds. 3) Solutions to overcome obstacles in the learning process, namely: (a) giving students more time to practice, (b) talking to students individually (c) maximizing learning outcomes in class with limited time, (d) simplifying the material and understanding students, and (e) giving more time to students
Analisis unsur budaya dalam buku ajar BIPA
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan atau implementasi unsur budaya Indonesia yang ada dalam buku ajar BIPA terbitan Kemendikbud berjudul "Sahabatku Indonesia” tingkat A1. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian, yaitu teknik membaca dan catat. Objek penelitian berupa isi terkhusus pada unsur budaya yang ditawarkan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dalam Buku BIPA terbitan Kemendikbud yang berjudul ”Sahabatku Indonesia” tingkat A1, terdapat tujuh unsur budaya, yang meliputi perilaku sosial berbahasa, sistem dan organisasi kemasyarakatan, sistem pengetahuan penduduk, sistem teknologi dan peralatan hidup masyarakat Indonesia. Penerapan unsur budaya ini tidak diberikan tempat khusus tetapi diimplementasikan ke dalam beberapa unit. Tidak semua unit dalam buku ajar ini mengandung implementasi unsur budaya Indonesia

Get PDFThe involvement of a child in a case which put them in the position of victim or perpetrator needs to be reviewed through their identity development. One of the cases that discussed the issue about victim and perpetrator was the postwar situation when the Nazi regime collapsed on the end of World War II. Lore (2012) by Cate Shortland became one of the movies that took time on postwar situation and bringing up the issue of victim or perpetrator through the perspective of adolescent. The subject of this study is the identification of the Nazi supporter adolescent’s position as victim or perpetrator that is depicted in the movie Lore. The method used in this study is qualitative method with the main theory of Alterität und Identität by Wolfgang Raible and the adolescent identity status theory by James Marcia. The theory of Alterität und Identität is used to analyze how the main character interacts with foreign things she encounters in the postwar period and its influence on her identity awareness. The identification of the character’s position as victim or perpetrator on postwar context in the movie Lore was carried out using the status of adolescent identity theory. The result of this analysis shows that there is a development of identity experienced by the character Lore, so that the movie depicts her as a victim based on the adolescent identity development. AbstrakKeterlibatan seorang anak dalam suatu kasus yang memposisikannya sebagai korban atau pelaku perlu ditinjau melalui perkembangan identitasnya. Salah satu kasus yang mengangkat isu tentang korban dan pelaku adalah keadaan setelah perang ketika rezim Nazi runtuh pada akhir Perang Dunia II. Film Lore (2012) karya sutradara Cate Shortland menjadi salah satu film yang berlatarkan setelah perang dan mengangkat isu korban dan pelaku melalui perspektif remaja. Hal yang menjadi pembahasan dalam penelitian ini adalah identifikasi posisi remaja pendukung Nazi sebagai korban atau pelaku yang digambarkan dalam film Lore. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan teori Alterität und Identität (Perbedaan dan Identitas) milik Wolfgang Raible dan teori status identitas remaja milik James Marcia. Teori Alterität und Identität digunakan untuk menganalisis bagaimana interaksi tokoh utama dengan hal-hal asing yang ditemuinya pada masa setelah perang dan pengaruhnya terhadap kesadaran identitas. Identifikasi penggambaran posisi tokoh sebagai korban atau pelaku dalam konteks setelah perang dilakukan menggunakan teori psikologi mengenai status identitas remaja. Hasil dari analisis menunjukkan terdapat perkembangan identitas yang dialami oleh tokoh Lore, sehingga posisinya digambarkan di dalam film ini sebagai korban berdasarkan perkembangan identitas remaja.
Pengaruh Tindak Tutur Direktif Guru terhadap Pembentukan Karakter Siswa dalam Proses Pembelajaran Selama Pandemi Covid-19
Get PDFThis study aims to describe the effect of directive speech acts used by teachers on the formation of student character in the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. The theory regarding directive speech acts in this study is based on sociopragmatic theory. The implemented research methodology is descriptive qualitative with 8 conditions, namely: 1) when entering class, 2) when starting a lesson, 3) during learning, 4) when giving assignments to students, 5) when asking assignments to students, 6) when asking students to correct assignments, 7) when concluding a lesson, and 8) when ending a lesson. The research data were obtained from teachers who teach Indonesian at the senior high school level in West Sumatra through questionnaires distributed using the Google form. The number of respondents who collected as many as 276 respondents. Based on the data collected, it was found that the directive speech acts used by the teacher resulted in the formation of students' character as many as 8 character pillars, namely: religious, honest, responsible, independent, curious, respectful, hard working, and disciplined. The most dominant character that appears is the character of responsibility. This behavior is reflected in the daily attitude of students in carrying out the mandate given as well as possible, such as doing assignments given by the teacher. The implications of this research can be used as a reference for character assessment. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh tindak tutur direktif yang digunakan guru terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa dalam proses pembelajaran selama pandemi Covid-19. Teori mengenai tindak tutur direktif dalam penelitian ini berlandaskan pada teori sosiopragmatik. Metodologi penelitian yang diimplementasikan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan 8 kondisi yaitu: 1) pada saat memasuki kelas, 2) pada saat memulai pelajaran, 3) pada pembelajaran berlangsung, 4) pada saat memberikan tugas kepada siswa, 5) pada saat meminta tugas kepada siswa, 6) pada saat meminta kepada siswa untuk memperbaiki tugas, 7) pada saat menyimpulkan pelajaran, dan 8) pada saat mengakhiri pelajaran. Data penelitian diperoleh dari guru-guru yang mengajar bahasa Indonesia tingkat SMA di Sumatera Barat melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan dengan google form. Jumlah responden yang terkumpul sebanyak 276 responden. Berdasarkan data yang terkumpul diperoleh hasil bahwa tindak tutur direktif yang digunakan guru menghasilkan pembentukan karakter siswa sebanyak 8 pilar karakter yaitu: religius, jujur, tanggung jawab, mandiri, rasa ingin tahu, menghargai, kerja keras, dan disiplin. Karakter yang paling dominan muncul adalah karakter tanggung jawab. Perilaku ini tercermin dari sikap siswa sehari-hari dalam menjalankan amanah yang diberikan dengan sebaik-baiknya, seperti mengerjakan tugas-tugas yang diberikan guru. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai rujukan penilaian karakter

Get PDFBIPA is currently increasingly in demand by other nations. In addition to learning the language, BIPA students are also introduced to Indonesian culture. Indonesian culture is important and needs to be known by BIPA students so that they can understand well the cultures that exist in Indonesia. One of the BIPA learning media that can be used in learning the language and introducing Indonesian culture is through song. Indonesian songs can be in the form of an archipelago folk song that has many cultural values and moral messages or character values. This research is a descriptive study and the source of data in this study are folk songs of the archipelago. The form data is in the form of words that contain an introduction to basic vocabulary for BIPA learners. Data collection techniques are carried out by observing notes. The results of this study obtained a description of the archipelago's folk songs that can be used as Indigenous digital-based BIPA learning media. The folk songs of the archipelago include Soleram, Cut the Goose Duck, My Goats, Come on Mama, Injit-Injit Ants, and Ondel-ondel. The folk songs of the archipelago can be used as BIPA learning media for basic BIPA learners who are just at the stage of getting to know the basic vocabulary and getting to know Indonesian cultur

Get PDFThis paper aims to explore the relationship of structure and meaning in the short stories “Kucing” by Toni Lesmana and “Kucing Hitam” by Edgar Allan Poe. This paper is a comparative literary study with the Levi-Strauss mythological structuralism study model. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The result shows that through the mythicization of the black cat, the two short stories try to reveal the dominance of gender in the opposite domestic area. The difference in dominance is represented through the relational structure of the short story which is oppositional. AbstrakTulisan ini bertujuan untuk menggali relasi struktur dan makna dalam cerita pendek “Kucing” karya Toni Lesmana dan “Kucing Hitam” karya Edgar Allan Poe. Tulisan ini merupakan kajian sastra bandingan dengan model kajian strukturalisme mitos Levi-Strauss. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa melalui pemistisan kucing hitam, kedua cerpen berusaha mengungkap dominasi gender dalam wilayah domestik yang berlawanan. Resistansi dan Alternatif dari Singularitas terhadap Empire dalam Film Captain Fantastic
Get PDFThis paper aims to discuss the issues of singularity, resistance, and alternatives chosen by the subject to fight against the empire contained in Matt Ross's Captain Fantastic movie. The analysis was carried out using the visual analysis method through the stages of taking notes and selecting dialogues between the characters to then be elaborated through literature study. Based on the use of Antonio Negri's perspective, the results of the analysis found that there was rejection of the homogeneity and capitalistic global order formed by the empire. This then gave rise to a singularity with independent human subjectivity. The subjectivity begins with the family structure to resist the all-materialistic and consumerismstic life order. Resistance takes place through a pattern of life and education in the form of a combination of the traditional and the modern as an alternative to dealing with empire. AbstrakTulisan ini bertujuan untuk membahas mengenai persoalan singularitas, resistansi, dan alternatif yang dipilih oleh subjek untuk melakukan perlawanan terhadap empire yang terdapat dalam film Captain Fantastic garapan Matt Ross. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analisis visual melalui tahapan mencatat serta menyeleksi dialog antartokoh untuk kemudian dielaborasi melalui studi kepustakaan. Berdasarkan penggunaan perspektif Antonio Negri, hasil analisis menemukan bahwa terdapat penolakan terhadap homogenitas dan tatanan global yang kapitalistik bentukan empire. Hal itu kemudian memunculkan singularitas dengan subjektivitas manusia yang merdeka. Subjektivitas tersebut diawali dari tatanan keluarga untuk melakukan resistansi terhadap tatanan kehidupan yang serba materielistisk dan konsumerismetik. Resistansi berlangsung melalui pola kehidupan dan pendidikan yang berupa perpaduan antara yang tradisional dengan yang modern sebagai alternatif untuk menghadapi empire
