ANALISIS KESALAHAN EJAAN DALAM SOAL-SOAL UJIAN SEMESTER SMP NEGERI 1 LANGSA
The study, titled "Analysis of Spelling Errors in questions Semester Exam SMP Negeri 1 Langsa" This aims to describe the use of spelling mistakes in the semester exam questions SMP Negeri 1 Langsa and describe aspects of the dominant error occurred on such questions. The population was exam questions 2013/2014 semester of the school year about twelve. The population-based sample set of five questions, namely about Social Studies, Science, Indonesian, local content, and Religion. The samples done by purposive sampling technique. The method used is descriptive method. Data collected by the study of engineering documentation and data processing was done by using qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of the analysis of data obtained as a whole amounted to 341 errors. EYD errors include capitalization amounts to 107 (31.38%), the use of italics totaled 15 (4.40%), use of bold numbered 3 (0.88%), the writing of said derivatives totaled 7 (2, 05%), writing the next word was 26 (7.62%), writing of the particles numbered 1 (0.29%), the writing stands totaling 4 (1.17%), the writing element uptake amounted to 20 (5.87%), punctuation usage totaled 142 (41.64%), the removal of spaces numbered 5 (1.47%), and excessive use of spaces totaling 11 (3.23%). Based on the number of such errors is the dominant use of punctuation errors

Language is a tool that plays a role in human life to declare or express feelings, the events that are experienced by individuals and shared by a set of language users. Discuss regional languages still play an important role in the life of Indonesian people. It is clearly seen that most of Indonesian speakers still use the local language or local language as a mother tongue. Language areas, in particular have accrued as a mother tongue, and has a function as a symbol of regional identity, means of transportation or communication in daily activities, both within and between groups keluaraga speakers of that language. MENYINGKAP KARAKTER MASYARAKAT MANDAILING MELALUI UMPAMA
This research studies character of Mandailing dealing with Mandailingparables. The research data are Mandailing parables containing the nature,behavior, or moral concept of Mandailing. The theory used in this research is semantic (Pateda, 2001). Based on the results of analysis, it is concluded that there are 11 Mandailing positive characters, they are (1) patriotic, (2) hardworking, (3) courteousness, (4) honest, (5) democratic, (6) social awareness, (7) responsible, (8) fair, (9) knowledge able, (10) modest, and (11) allertness. Furthermore, there are 7 negative characters of Mandailing: (1)hypocrite, (2) tricky, (3) unfair, (4) temperament, (5) lazier, (6) arrogant, and (7) materialist
Harapan Orang Tua Memberi Nama Anak di Daerah Mandailing
The name is the language of human communication. Therefore, the naming of a child by a parent will vary from one parent to another. The child's name is a language that represents the language of the mind of parents associated with the environment. Each parent has their own reasons and expectations of the names given to their children. Batak communities have distinctive names. Name according to the parents, can bring good luck and is also known where someone is coming. The results of this study are expected to know and the authors draw conclusions from the study of the relationship name sociolinguistic children with parental expectations. This research is helpful for those who want to review the names of people, especially in the area Mandailing. Based on these results, it appears that the names of the Mandailing show close relationship between the child's name and the hope of his parents as a vagabond. Viewing from the meaning of the name of each student indicates that exalts the name meaning, goodness, valor, tenderness, charm, servitude and obedience. The parents tried to give the names of their children with the best name in their opinion
HUBUNGAN KEKERABATAN BAHASA BENUAQ, TONYOOI, DAN BAHAU: KAJIAN LINGUISTIK HISTORIS KOMPARATIF
It is a comparative historical linguistic study that discusses about the kinship of Benuaq, Tonyooi, and Bahau languages. Those are used and exist in East Kalimantan. This research is quantitative by using lexicostatistics of Swadesh-200 lists and also qualitative by describing the kinship of those languages. The lexicostatistical calculations indicate that those three languages are related. Benuaq and Tonyooi language relation percentage is 46.15%. Benuaq and Bahau language relation percentage is 27.18%. Tonyooi and Bahau language relation percentage is 30.77%. It shows that Benuaq and Tonyooi languages are classified as one language family, Benuaq and Bahau are classified as one language group, and Tonyooi and Bahau are classified as one language group. Thus, those three languages are not classified as one language
PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TEKS ANEKDOT DENGAN STAD DAN MAKE A MATCH PADA SISWA KELAS X SMA
This development aims to create a product of anecdote learning model book based on STAD and Make A Match on the tenth grade senior high school students. It can be used to facilitate teachers and students to identify the structure of anecdote. It uses Research and Development/R&D of Dick and Carey’s learning model. The results show that it has fulfilled the standard validated by material expert test, linguist test, educational practitioner test, and media expert test with the average score of 92, very feasible/very good criteria. The students’ learning outcomes of the experimental group are excellent with the average of individual cognitive, individual affective, and the group affective score of 96. The students' learning outcomes of the field test group are excellent with the average of individual cognitive, individual affective, and group affective score of 97. The percentage of teachers and students’ response rate are 96%, excellent qualifications. It applies qualitative descriptive and descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the development findings, it can be concluded that the development of anecdote learning with STAD Model and Make A Match on the tenth grade senior high school students can be employed by teachers in the classroom learning
