    The decline in students moral quality, reflected in low discipline, responsibility, and social awareness, has become a serious challenge in education amid globalization and rapid digital development. This condition highlights the strategic role of teachers, particularly civics education (ppkn) teachers, in fostering students’ moral development in a contextual and sustainable manner. This study aims to analyze in depth the strategies employed by ppkn teachers in shaping students’ morality at SMA Negeri 2 Kolaka, as well as examining the support, constraints, and efforts of the school environment in this process. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving ppkn teachers, the principal, the vice principal for student affairs, and students. Data analysis was conducted interactively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the strategies used by ppkn teachers in moral formation are holistic, integrative, and contextual. Teachers implement contextual moral discussion-based learning combined with exemplary behavior in daily school life. This strategy encourages moral internalization through reflection, moral decision-making, and the habituation of positive behavior. Furthermore, the integration of local socio-cultural values and social interaction among students strengthens the moral formation process. The school environment supports moral development through value-based school culture, habituation programs, and a humanistic guidance system. Despite internal and external challenges, adaptive strategies implemented by teachers and the school contribute to positive changes in students’ moral behavior. This study emphasizes that effective moral education requires synergy between pedagogical strategies, teacher exemplarity, and institutional school support

    Pemanfaatan Hewan sebagai Obat Tradisional pada Masyarakat Kualu Pekanbaru dalam Kajian Ethnozootherapy

    Ethnozootherapy, as a component of traditional medical practices, highlights the use of animals or animal-derived products to treat physical ailments, enhance vitality, and fulfil spiritual needs. This research aims to understand the forms of animal use as traditional medicine, examine the cultural values ​​and beliefs of the community that underlie these practices, and analyze the dynamics of local knowledge, including changes in practices amidst the influence of modern medicine and efforts to maintain ecological sustainability. Employing a qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving traditional healers and community members who use animal-based remedies. The findings reveal that animals such as snakes, eels, leeches, black chickens, monitor lizards, snakehead fish, and wild bees are used to address diverse health complaints based on empirical knowledge, symbolic interpretations, and spiritual beliefs. These practices not only constitute a traditional healing system but also function to maintain social structure, reinforce cultural identity, and facilitate intergenerational knowledge transmission. Amid the growing presence of modern medical services, communities selectively adapt by retaining practices perceived as effective and safe. Furthermore, the use of local ecological wisdom demonstrates an embedded ethical awareness supporting sustainable resource use. Thus, ethnozootherapy plays an essential role in both local health systems and the cultural continuity of the Kualu community

    Preferensi Pilihan Karir Mahasiswa sebagai Konten Kreator di Era Digital: Studi Kualitatif tentang Persepsi, Motivasi, dan Tantangan Mahasiswa Konten Kreator

    The development of digital technology and social media has influenced students' career preferences. Content creators are becoming one of the most sought-after professions because they offer opportunities for creativity, personal branding, and potential income. This study aims to explore the factors (motivation, perception, and challenges faced) that influence students' preferences in choosing a career as content creators. Using a phenomenological qualitative approach, this study involved six active students in Semarang aged 18-25 years who had been content creators for six months to one year with at least 1,000 followers on social media. Data were collected through semi-structured purposive interviews and analyzed thematically. The results of the study show that the main motivation for students to become content creators comes from intrinsic factors (hobbies and the desire to channel creativity), while extrinsic factors (potential income and popularity) also play a role. Their perception of this profession is positive, seeing it as a means of self-expression, personal branding, not bound by office hours, allowing them to work from anywhere according to their personal rhythm, and adaptable to their studies or other activities. Supportive digital networks (connections) with flexible time and location requirements are also a major attraction. However, there are challenges such as time management, creativity demands, competition among content creators, and the psychological impact of negative criticism. Students are aware of these challenges, but still choose this profession based on rational considerations and benefits such as high flexibility, economic opportunities, and self-development that outweigh the risks. In line with James S. Coleman's rational choice theory, where students logically weigh the benefits (flexibility, creativity, income) against the disadvantages, content creation has become a strategic career in the digital age

    Edukasi Interaktif untuk Meningkatkan Kesadaran Bencana pada Siswa SMAN 1 Tutuyan Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Timur

    Kesadaran bencana sangat penting dimiliki setiap orang termasuk siswa sekolah agar dapat mengurangi risiko maupun dampak bencana jika sewaktu-waktu terjadi bencana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas edukasi interaktif untuk meningkatkan kesadaran bencana pada siswa SMA 1 Tutuyan Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang berfokus pada pemahaman mendalam terhadap fenomena dan proses pembelajaran yang terjadi selama kegiatan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan dokumentasi langsung dengan memperhatikan keterlibatan, partisipasi dan respon siswa dalam mengikuti edukasi kebencanaan. Pembelajaran ini dirancang melalui pendekatan berbasis konteks lokal, memanfaatkan media PowerPoint, diskusi kelas, serta kuis evaluative sebagai alat penguatan materi. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa mampu menjawab pertanyaan dengan tepat dan percaya diri, yang mengindikasikan keberhasilan penyampaian informasi serta efektivitas metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan edukasi interaktif ini mampu membentuk sikap proaktif, peduli, dan siap siaga dalam menghadapi potensi bencana. Dengan demikian, metode pembelajaran yang aktif, partisipatif, dan kontekstual terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran kebencanaan pada siswa SMAN I Tutuyan

    Penggunaan Metode PURINA dalam Pendidikan Mitigasi Bencana Gempa Bumi pada Anak Usia Dini

    Dalam rangka pengurangan risiko dan dampak bencana, maka pendidikan kebencanaan sebagai fondasi pengetahuan dan keterampilan menghadapi bencana sangat penting dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas metode PURINA dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesiapsiagaan anak usia dini terhadap bencana gempa bumi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimental pre-posttest dengan sampel purposive dari anak TK di Sumedang, dibagi kelompok kontrol (ceramah dan simulasi) dan intervensi (PURINA). Analisis data meliputi uji normalitas, homogenitas, univariat, dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pengetahuan di kedua kelompok (p<0.001), namun tidak ada perbedaan signifikan antarkelompok (p=0.778) dikarenakan kedua kelompok diberikan intervensi yang tidak jauh berbeda. Namun, inervensi yang diberikan pada kelompok intervensi lebih variatif sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih menyenangkan dan menarik bagi anak. Dengan demikian, metode PURINA efektif, namun aspek simulasi perlu menjadi komponen utama.     Integrating Gligglish AI into Project-Based Learning to Improve Speaking Skills of Non-English Major EFL Students

    This study examines the effectiveness of integrating Project-Based Learning (PBL) with Gligglish AI in improving the English-speaking skills of second-semester students in the Information Systems Research Program at a private university in Indonesia. In this context, many students experience persistent challenges in speaking development, including linguistic difficulties such as limited vocabulary, grammatical control, and pronunciation accuracy, as well as psychological barriers such as low self-confidence and fear of making mistakes. The study employed a mixed-methods sequential explanatory design. Quantitative data were collected through pre- and post-test assessments using a validated speaking performance rubric. In contrast, qualitative data were obtained through semi-structured interviews to explore students’ learning experiences and perceptions. The instructional intervention involved implementing Project-Based Learning activities supported by Gligglish AI, which facilitated interactive speaking practice, pronunciation feedback, and opportunities for autonomous learning. The participants were two intact classes (n = 52), divided into an experimental and a control group. The quantitative findings indicate substantial improvements in students’ speaking performance following the intervention, with fluency increasing by 31.4%, pronunciation by 28.6%, grammar by 24.8%, and vocabulary by 26.7%. The most pronounced improvement was observed in overall speaking performance, which increased by 47.8% from the pre-test to the post-test. Qualitative findings further reveal that students perceived the integration of PBL and Gligglish AI as engaging, relevant to their academic field, and effective in enhancing confidence, motivation, and active participation. These findings suggest that integrating AI-assisted speaking tools within a project-based learning framework offers a promising instructional approach for improving English-speaking skills in private higher education contexts

    Pengaruh Faktor Risiko terhadap Efek Samping Hipotensi Ortostatik pada Pasien Hipertensi dengan Komorbid Diabetes Mellitus

    Orthostatic hypotension is a common side effect of antihypertensive therapy that can lead to serious outcomes such as falls, injuries, and death. The risk increases in patients with comorbidities like diabetes mellitus, which affect autonomic regulation and often require multiple medications (polypharmacy). This study aimed to assess the influence of risk factors gender, age, duration of use, body mass index, and polypharmacy on the incidence of orthostatic hypotension in hypertensive patients with comorbidities at the Lamongan District Health Center. Using a cross-sectional design, 78 Prolanis program participants were observed from January to March 2025. Data were collected through direct observation, medical records, and the Naranjo algorithm questionnaire, then analyzed with Spearman Rank correlation. Results showed that most respondents experienced possible (41.03%) to very certain (39.74%) side effects of orthostatic hypotension linked to antihypertensive use. Age (ρ=0.698; p=0.000), gender (ρ=0.308; p=0.006), and polypharmacy (ρ=0.277; p=0.014) were significantly associated with orthostatic hypotension, with age as the strongest factor. Duration of use (ρ=0.122; p=0.287) and body mass index (ρ=−0.006; p=0.961) showed no significant correlation. These findings highlight the need for heightened vigilance in elderly patients and those on multiple medications to prevent orthostatic hypotension. Further studies with larger samples and longer follow-up are recommended. Educating patients on proper medication use is crucial to reduce adverse effects

    Penerapan Metode SWARA–COPRAS untuk Rekomendasi Pemilihan Jurusan Mahasiswa Baru di Universitas Semarang

    Choosing a college major is an important decision for prospective students as it affects academic performance and future career planning. However, in practice, many prospective students still experience difficulties in selecting a major that matches their interests, abilities, and preferences. Therefore, this study aims to apply the Simple Weighting Assessment Ratio Analysis (SWARA) and Complex Proportional Assessment (COPRAS) methods in developing a decision support system for college major selection. The SWARA method is used to determine criterion weights based on their level of importance, while the COPRAS method is applied to calculate utility values and rank alternative majors. The criteria used include academic ability, interests and experience, profile suitability, cost, and accreditation, with alternative majors consisting of Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. Data were collected from several respondents and processed according to the stages of the applied methods. The results show that each respondent receives different major recommendations based on the COPRAS ranking results. For respondent 1, alternatives A1 and A2 ranked first with a utility value of 100%, while other respondents obtained different top alternatives according to their respective preferences. Validation using Spearman’s Rank Correlation indicates strong to very strong relationships between system recommendations and respondents’ preferences, with one example correlation coefficient of 0.95. Based on these results, the developed decision support system is expected to assist prospective students in selecting college majors in a more structured and objective manner

    Peningkatan mutu pendidikan melalui akreditasi sekolah merupakan langkah strategis dalam mencapainya, sesuai dengan Undang-Undang No. 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional. Di Kabupaten Lombok Timur, terdapat 150 lembaga PAUD yang menjadi target akreditasi pada tahun 2023. Namun, pelaksanaan persiapan akreditasi menghadapi berbagai kendala, terutama terkait dengan rendahnya pengetahuan teknologi di kalangan pendidik dan tenaga administrasi lembaga PAUD. Kendala ini meliputi kesulitan dalam mengunggah dokumen akreditasi secara online melalui sistem Sispena, serta kebingungan dalam mengikuti format dokumen yang bervariasi meskipun telah ada kisi-kisi. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PPM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas 20 lembaga PAUD di Kecamatan Sakra dan Keruak, melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan. Program ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tentang pentingnya akreditasi, mendorong peningkatan kualitas lembaga, serta memperkuat motivasi dan pengetahuan guru PAUD. Diharapkan, program ini dapat meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di Kabupaten Lombok Timur secara signifikan. Kata Kunci: akreditasi, PAUD, teknologi, kapasitas lembaga, peningkatan mutu pendidika

    Kegiatan Pengabdian ini bertujuan mensosialisasikan dan mencegah bullying pada siswa SD Negeri Nyiur Tebel melalui pemanfaatan media pembelajaran digital. Bullying merupakan masalah serius yang berdampak negatif pada perkembangan sosial dan psikologis anak. Penggunaan media pembelajaran digital dipilih sebagai pendekatan inovatif untuk menarik minat siswa sekaligus menyampaikan pesan anti-bullying. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa terhadap bullying serta terciptanya lingkungan sekolah yang lebih aman dan nyaman. Media digital juga mempermudah guru dalam menyampaikan materi dengan metode menarik. Secara keseluruhan program ini berhasil menumbuhkan sikap empati dan saling menghargai antar siswa, mendukung pembentukan karakter positif sejak dini dilingkungan sekolah dasar.
