KEPERCAYAAN DAN PENGALAMAN MASYARAKAT PERKOTAAN DALAM MENGGUNAKAN PELAYANAN KESEHATAN TRADISIONAL BALIAN: STUDI KUALITATIF DI KOTA DENPASAR
Get PDFDalam era kemajuan teknologi medis dan ilmu pengetahuan, nilai-nilai pengobatan tradisional kerap terpinggirkan. Namun demikian, kepercayaan terhadap praktik pengobatan tradisional, khususnya balian ketakson dan balian usada, tetap mengakar kuat di kalangan masyarakat perkotaan di Bali. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami kepercayaan dan pengalaman masyarakat Kota Denpasar dalam mengakses layanan kesehatan tradisional oleh balian. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis, studi ini melibatkan enam belas informan dari empat kecamatan di Denpasar dan mengeksplorasi sembilan tema utama melalui wawancara mendalam dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan terhadap balian dipengaruhi oleh pandangan hidup masyarakat Bali yang holistik, di mana kesehatan dipahami sebagai keseimbangan antara tubuh, pikiran, dan roh. Tradisi lokal, nilai spiritual, dan pengaruh keluarga serta komunitas menjadi faktor utama yang mendorong preferensi terhadap balian, bahkan seringkali sebelum mengakses layanan medis modern. Cerita kesembuhan, kekecewaan terhadap layanan konvensional, serta persepsi tentang penyakit sebagai gangguan spiritual turut memperkuat legitimasi pengobatan tradisional. Di sisi lain, tantangan muncul dalam upaya mengintegrasikan praktik balian ke dalam sistem kesehatan modern yang berbasis bukti ilmiah. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan pendekatan edukasi dan advokasi yang tepat agar integrasi ini dapat berjalan harmonis, dengan tetap menghargai kearifan lokal dan kebutuhan masyarakat
Religious Moderation of Diaspora Hindus in West Jakarta

This study is a qualitative research type, because this study is presented in a descriptive analytical interpretative manner. Data collection methods are participant observation, interviews, and document studies. Field data were analyzed using interpretive analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that religious moderation of Hindu diaspora in West Jakarta can be implemented and well understood by Hindu diaspora and other communities as a balance in religion through attitudes and actions that respect each other, respect, and are open in carrying out religious activities. PEMBERDAYAAN KADER LANSIA DALAM PENCEGAHAN DIABETES DI BANJAR TEGAL SUCI, TEGALALANG, GIANYAR
Get PDFBanjar Tegal Suci in Sebatu Village, Tegalallang, Gianyar, is one of the banjars with a relatively high number of elderly residents. Although there is already an elderly group and cadres, the activities carried out are still limited, such as the lack of diabetes screening, low health insurance coverage, and insufficient knowledge about healthy food preparation. The objective of this Community Partnership Program (PkM) is to improve the knowledge and quality of life of the elderly through several steps, namely diabetes screening, health insurance education, and education on diabetes prevention and healthy food preparation. The problem-solving framework applied includes three main steps: 1) Conducting diabetes screening by checking blood glucose levels, 2) Providing an understanding of the benefits of health insurance, how to register, and conducting meetings with relevant parties, and 3) Organizing education on diabetes prevention, healthy food preparation, and elderly exercise. The PkM activities were carried out in stages, starting with socialization to stakeholders and followed by the implementation of diabetes screening and education. The results showed an increase in knowledge among the cadres and the elderly, with a recorded 84% improvement in pre- and post-test scores for the cadres. Blood glucose testing revealed that 3 elderly individuals had glucose levels >200 mg/dL, and they were advised to follow up with further examinations. Additionally, to increase motivation, glucometers, weight scales, and t-shirts were provided to the cadres and the Puskesmas. Based on the results of these activities, it can be concluded that the PkM has successfully improved the elderly\u27s knowledge and awareness of their health, particularly in diabetes prevention, and has improved access to healthcare services through health insurance

Get PDFThis study examines how company age, size, and institutional ownership affect company value for retail trade sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2021). This study used Indonesia Stock Exchange retail trade sub-sector companies. This study used multiple linear regression analysis on 54 purposive-sampled financial statements. This study found no correlation between firm age and value. Firm value decreases significantly with firm size. Institutional ownership significantly reduces firm value. According to the research, companies will need to improve their shareholding composition in the future. Test results show that large institutional investors can cause corporate decision-making inconsistencies

The research focuses on LPDs within Tabanan District as the subject. The study\u27s population consists of 36 LPD supervisory bodies in Tabanan District. The findings indicate that professionalism plays a significant role in influencing the performance of the supervisory board in Tabanan District\u27s LPDs. Professionalism encompasses the ability to proficiently understand both the technical and theoretical aspects of their field and the skills relevant to their roles as examiners. Furthermore, organizational commitment has a direct influence on the performance of the LPD supervisory board in Tabanan District. A higher level of commitment among LPD supervisors in Tabanan District corresponds to an improved performance of the supervisory board

Get PDFThe financial statements are prepared to provide relevant information regarding the financial position and all transactions carried out by the reporting entity during a reporting period. This study aims to analyze the effect of understanding human resources, organizational culture and work experience on the quality of financial reports in BPRs throughout the Mengwi District. The research was conducted at BPRs throughout the Mengwi District. The sampling method used purposive sampling and obtained 86 employees who prepared financial reports. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression, instrument test, classical assumption test, and model feasibility test. The results of the study show that human resource competence, organizational culture, and work experience have a positive and significant effect on the quality of financial reports in BPRs throughout the Mengwi district

One of the most popular forms of investment today is capital market investment. In this case, universities are a forum for students to learn about investment, one of which is the Indonesian Hindu University. However, students\u27 financial knowledge when investing is still relatively low in minimizing risks in making investment decisions. The increasing issue of investment fraud targeting students is making young investors make investment decisions. The purpose of thies studiy was to determine the interaction of risk and motivation preference on the invesftment interesst of Indonesian Hindu University studentns in Denpasar. The population used in this study were all students of the Faculity of Economjics, Business and Tourism at the Hindu University of Indonesia from 2019 to 2022. The sample for this study was 332 students with a sampling technique using probability sampling including stratified random sampling. The findings of this study suggest that investment intention is positively and significantly influenced by motivation and positively and significantly influenced by perception of risk. The research results explain that the greater the motivation and risk perception, the higher the student\u27s interest in investing. With this research, it is hoped that students will understand that there are risks that may occur and always follow the investment profits
