DAWA is closing: What does it mean to you?
The address data distribution platform DAWA is going to close. The modernization of the Danish Data Distributor (Datafordeleren) has created an opportunity to implement a phased shutdown of DAWA. As the possibilities for data distribution on the Data Distributor are expanded, it is possible for DAWA users to move their use of data away from DAWA.
The phased shutdown will be communicated via the Danish Climate Data Agency's communication channels. It is not possible to reach out to users of individual DAWA services, as DAWA is not subject to user management. It is therefore important that users stay updated on the shutdown plans
It's time for action: Excavation damages threatens security of supply and society's digital nerve: All contractors and utilities digging underground should be socially responsible and 3D document all pipes and wires they can see underground, rather than just documenting their own wires. This will prevent excavation damage and secure the digital nerve of society.
In 2016, the Danish Ministry of Climate, Energy and Utilities determined that excavation damage to underground infrastructure costs society approximately DKK 280 million per year. Since then, no major improvements have been made. We need to find a joint solution between authorities, contractors, utility companies and consultants. We simply know too little about the critical supply lines that we have lying underground. The necessary technology for 3D documentation and data sharing has already been developed and is available from several different suppliers, but we must join forces in a joint effort to harvest the potential. With a future requirement for 3D documentation, as a united industry we will ensure high accuracy in the location of the wires and pipes, while broad sharing of data will benefit everyone. All in all, this will lead to better utilization of our resources and infrastructure across supply types and industries
The Prior-Brasch Landfall Letters (1946-1958)
This article discusses 30 letters between Arthur Prior and Charles Brasch, the editor of Landfall, over the period 1946-1958. The letters contain new and important information on Prior’s view on logic and philosophy, what he was reading at this time, his reflections on Popper and C.S. Lewis, his contributions to Landfall, and his preference for the Polish notation. They also provide insight as to how Prior’s writings, ideas and suggestions for Landfall, including that Landfall regularly discuss philosophy, were received and responded to by Brasch
The Potential of Process Orientation: Rereading Problem Orientation, Project Work and Report Writing by Eva Hultengren (1976)
What Illeris’ Problem orientation and participant direction – A proposal for alternative didactics (1974) signified for Roskilde University, Eva Hultengren’s Problem orientation, project work and report writing (1976) signified for Aalborg University. Both books were soon published in a second edition, but only Hultengren (1976) focused specifically on higher education and the developing experimentation with group organized project work at Aalborg University (SSH faculty), which later introduced project work into the PBL-tradition. In this paper, I argue that Problem-orientation, project work and report writing (Hultengren, 1976) is not just of historical interest. On the contrary, it offers rich analysis and perspectives on issues which are still debated today internationally regarding the role of the supervisor with respect to process orientation, the degree of participant direction and the knowledge interest underpinning project work

Data-driven decision-making in Guldborgsund Municipality: Towards a political decision-making model
Despite a prevailing narrative of counter-urbanization to and within Danish rural areas, quantitative registry data indicates that most rural municipalities in Denmark are challenged by depopulation. Combining principles and methods from spatial data science and business intelligence disciplines, this article analyzes migration data at the address level for all address changes in a Danish rural municipality over a 17-year period. In response to the perception that migration patterns and demographic challenges are typically seen as complex, bordering on incomprehensible, a theoretical perspective based on complexity theory is adopted, wherein municipalities and other administrative units are viewed as complex social systems. It is generally observed that the municipality's settlement strategy does not reflect the results of the analysis on several key points, and there are clear indications that it is only the rural areas of the municipality that are depopulating. Additionally, prior association to the municipality as a migration incentive is observed and quantified , which in itself is an original contribution to the research literature on planning. The overall contribution of the article is thus significant for both the management of and research into rural areas, which could have a significant impact on the future of rural areas
Seeking New Managerial Perspectives for Value Generation
In this article, we take up some of the suggestions presented in the call for papers emphasizing the connections between the concepts of new management and transdisciplinarity.Since the aim of the special issue is to explore experiences and studies related to the development of managerial thought, the innovation in managerial activities, and the overcoming of neoliberal managerial mainstreaming approaches, we solicited contributions connected to ways that management may support the overcomingof critical situations, facing the evolution required to reconfigure existing working, professional, and organizational cultures, and how it may be able to deal with an incoming challenging, paradoxical, and contradictory scenario
Is it possible to develop regenerative leadership in the financial sector through action research?
Due to the global socioecological crisis and increasing environmental concerns, there is an urgent need for new ways of leading that take more responsibility for the environment, the climate, the wellbeing of employees and citizens, and the social aspects of our society in general. There is an urgent need to more consistently work with both environmental and social sustainability in mind.Based on this challenge, this study is centered around the development of regenerative leadership in the financial sector through action research as an inquiry to simultaneously learn, change, and produce knowledge. The study’s primary research question is:Is it possible to develop regenerative leadership in the financial sector through action research?</br /> In the first part of the paper, the background of the project and the basic notion of regenerative leadership will be explained. In the second part, a pilot project based on action research focused on the development of regenerative leadership in the financial sector will be presented, including the research inquiry and some brief illustrative examples (adjusted to the scope of the paper). Finally, the outcomes of the project and the use of action research for the development of regenerative leadership in the financial sector will be discussed
What are the potentials of interorganizational collaborative management research in mobilizing leadership agency?
Interorganizational collaborative management research (ICMR) offers new insight into action research, reflexivity, and collaboration in research practice. The article develops the research area especially in terms of uniting managers from different organizations with researchers, and outlines how ICMR creates a psychologically safe learning and development space. Our study introduces an interorganizational learning and development space, where managers from diverse organizations collaborate to develop their leadership capabilities and perform actions in heir own organizational systems, supported by a systematic research design collecting qualitative data. We provide a description of ICMR as a research approach, outline our methodology for ICMR and illustrate the outcomes of an ICMR project, discussing learning mechanisms, strengths, challenges, and opportunities for future development in the field
Eleven på dobbeltarbejde – lærer-elev-interaktion behandlet med den økologiske AAA-model
This article studies how linguist Leo van Lier's ecological AAA-model (van Lier 1996), consisting of the three principles of awareness, autonomy, and authenticity, can be used to analyze teacher-student interactions in the classroom. Additionally, the model's application in developing teaching methods is illustrated. The research question addressed is: How can the AAA-model, as a tool for developing, carrying out, and analyzing teaching, help create learning-promoting action opportunities for multilingual students? An interaction between a teacher and her student during a Danish lesson in a 7th grade at a primary school ('Folkeskole'), where the majority are plurilingual students, is analyzed. The analysis, based on Mayring (2015), is structured as a deductive qualitative content analysis. Using the ecological AAA-model as the theoretical foundation, a learning situation is illustrated where neither the teacher nor the student achieves the desired outcome. The teacher aims to promote autonomy and authenticity for the student but ends up acting counterproductively, causing the student to do "double work" and become increasingly insecure and dependent throughout the interaction. The importance of considering all three principles simultaneously to promote learning and create meaningfulness, choices, and transparency in relation to academic and pedagogical goals is clarified based on the model
