This community service activity aims to improve the understanding of the people of Delik Hamlet, Kesamben Village, regarding the fiqh of prayer through guidance on the Tafsir Ahkam study. The guidance is provided to address the low level of knowledge among the community regarding the legal arguments, requirements and pillars of prayer, the law of jama' for travellers, and things that invalidate prayer, so that worship can be carried out in accordance with the teachings of the Sharia. The implementation method includes lectures using the book Tafsir Ayat Hukum Ibadah dan Makanan by Muhammad Qoyyim Yaqub as the primary reference, accompanied by question-and-answer sessions and discussions to reinforce understanding. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge regarding the legal basis for the obligation of prayer, the rules for congregational prayer for travellers, the invalidators of prayer, and the understanding of the differences between conditions, pillars, and Sunnah. These changes also impacted behaviour, as residents became more disciplined, consistent, and devout in performing prayer, while also being able to balance their religious obligations with economic activities. The contribution of this community service lies in strengthening religious literacy based on effective thematic exegesis for rural communities, while also fostering religious character, social cohesion, and the application of religious moderation in daily life

This study aims to reveal the role of kiai as a central figure in leadership and management of education in Islamic boarding schools, as well as its impact on the integration of Islamic values ??in the education system at SMAS Al-Hikmah 2 Sirampog Brebes. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data is obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation to explore the dynamics of leadership and management of Islamic boarding schools. The results of the study indicate that kiai play a dominant role in strategic decision-making and the development of the school's vision and mission. Although the principal is responsible for administration, long-term policies still depend on the direction of the kiai. The kiai also succeeded in integrating Islamic values ??into school activities, such as congregational prayer and religious studies, which support the formation of student character. However, there is tension between the flexible tradition of Islamic boarding schools and more structured and modern managerial demands. This study provides theoretical contributions to the development of charismatic and spiritual leadership models in Islamic boarding schools, as well as practical contributions for education managers in developing a managerial system that accommodates spiritual values ??and Islamic boarding school traditions, but still prioritizes efficiency and professionalism

This study examines the role of principal leadership in fostering a culture of quality education at SMP IT Mutiara. This study adopts a descriptive qualitative approach to explore the transformational leadership strategies implemented by the principal in building a conducive learning environment through data collection methods such as observation, interviews, and notes. The findings of the study indicate that the principal plays a strategic role in shaping a culture of quality education through various integrated strategies, including mentoring and developing teacher professionalism, and encouraging active participation from all school members. Despite facing challenges such as rejection from senior teachers towards new teaching methods, budget constraints, and the balance between academic achievement and Islamic character development, the principal overcomes these obstacles through his visionary, communicative, and focused leadership. The positive impact of developing a culture of quality education can be seen from the increasing quality of graduates accepted at the selected school, the increasing professionalism of teachers, and the high achievement of students in both academic and non-academic fields. This study confirms that the leadership of the principal is not merely administrative, but is a driving force for educational transformation that drives all departments in the school to provide the best educational services

Extrinsic motivation is one of the important factors that can influence students in continuing their studies, especially in choosing a study program, including the Islamic Education (PAI) Program. External factors such as parental encouragement, job opportunities, or not being accepted into another program not only play a role in determining the choice of study program, but also have an impact on students’ learning outcomes. This study aims to identify the extrinsic motivations of the 2021 cohort students in choosing the Islamic Education Study Program and to examine the implications of these motivations for their learning outcomes. The study employed a mixed-methods approach, with quantitative data collected through questionnaires distributed to 30 students and qualitative data obtained through in-depth interviews with 3 students who had different GPA achievements. The results showed that the extrinsic motivations of the 2021 cohort students in choosing the Islamic Education Study Program were influenced by several factors, namely parental encouragement, job opportunities, environmental influences, and the reason of not being accepted into another program. The Pearson correlation test indicated a positive and significant relationship between extrinsic motivation and learning outcomes, with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.584 and p = 0.007. The qualitative findings from the interviews supported this result, showing that students with consistent parental support tended to achieve higher GPAs, while those whose extrinsic motivation decreased showed lower academic performance. Thus, extrinsic motivation is proven to make an important contribution to students’ learning outcomes

This article aims to describe the concept and urgency of child-rearing according to the Prophet Muhammad saw based on authentic hadiths, as well as to explain its contribution to shaping children's character from an Islamic educational perspective. This study employs a qualitative approach using library research methods. Primary sources include authoritative hadith collections such as Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawud, Sunan at-Tirmidzi, and Musnad Ahmad. Secondary sources include hadith commentaries and contemporary Islamic educational literature. Data collection techniques were conducted through documentary studies, then analysed using content and thematic analysis approaches. Data validity was maintained through source triangulation and hadith quality checks using the takhrij method. The research findings indicate that the concept of the Prophet Muhammad's parenting style includes compassion, exemplary behaviour (uswah hasanah), respect for the child's existence, instilling manners, and early spiritual education. This pattern is not only normative but also practical and contextual for application in child-rearing in the modern era, which is filled with moral and social challenges. These findings contribute theoretically to the development of Islamic education science and practically to Muslim families in establishing sunnah-based parenting patterns

This study analyzes the potential of microinsurance implementation to enhance the economic empowerment of rural communities in Singkuang Village, Muara Batang Gadis District, Mandailing Natal Regency. The research background is based on the condition of the majority of MSMEs, who still face business risks without adequate financial protection. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study design, through interviews, observation, and documentation, as well as a SWOT analysis. The results show that MSMEs' internal strengths outweigh their weaknesses (IFAS 3.541 > 3.103) and opportunities outweigh their threats (EFAS 3.157 > 2.264), placing MSMEs in Quadrant I (aggressive strategy). Microinsurance is considered relevant because it offers affordable premiums, simple administration, and fast claims, while also encouraging a culture of risk management. However, challenges remain in the form of low financial literacy and limited access to information. Therefore, education, mentoring, and support from the government and financial institutions are needed. Overall, the implementation of microinsurance has great potential to strengthen business resilience and rural economic empowerment if accompanied by increased literacy, access to capital, and accessible product distribution
