    This study aims to analyze the function of interactive learning media in increasing children's enthusiasm in reading the Qur'an at TPQ Kasyifatul Ulum Bandengan. The research method applied is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research findings indicate that the use of interactive learning media, although only limited to basic tools such as whiteboards and hijaiyah letter cards, can increase children's enthusiasm for learning. Children's interest in reading is influenced by fun teacher methods and parental support at home. However, there are still challenges such as boredom in learning and the negative impacts of using gadgets. Therefore, consistent and innovative optimization of interactive media is needed to build an effective, fun learning process that is in accordance with the characteristics of digital generation children

    The rapid flow of modernization brings great challenges to the world of education, especially in terms of moral decline and character crises among students. Spiritual and social values ??are starting to be displaced by environmental influences less supportive of moral formation. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the implementation of the Yasinan organizational culture in forming the Islamic character of students at MTs Al-Ittihadiyah Mamiyai Medan. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach. There were two informants in this study: the principal and teachers at MTs Al-Ittihadiyah Mamiyai Medan. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques through the stages of Miles and Huberman: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification.  The study results indicate that the Islamic organizational culture in the form of Yasinan activities at MTs Al Ittihadiyah Mamiyai Medan has succeeded in forming the religious character of students through structured and sustainable spiritual habits. This activity is not only a routine of worship but also plays a role as a value system that instills discipline and responsibility and strengthens awareness of the importance of worship as part of everyday life. This culture reflects the application of Islamic values ??in educational organizations, which align with the teachings of the Qur'an and Hadith. It can create positive behavioral norms rooted in the shared beliefs of all members of the madrasa

    Implementation of the Children Learning in Sciences (CLiS) Learning Model to Improve Students' Science Learning Outcomes

    This study aims to explain the application of the Children Learning in Science (CLiS) model in improving the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Inpres 1 Tondo. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, which focuses on improving the quality of learning in the classroom. This model follows four stages of the Kemmis and McTaggart cycle: (1) Planning, (2) Action, (3) Observation, and (4) Reflection. This study was conducted during the 2024/2025 academic year, involving 28 fourth-grade students as research subjects. Data were collected using test and non-test techniques. Non-test methods include interviews, classroom observations, and documentation, while the test method uses multiple-choice questions to assess students' understanding of science material. In Cycle I, the percentage of students achieving The classical approach was used to In Cycle I, student achievement using the classical approach increased to 64.29%, compared to 50% in the pre-action phase, showing an increase of 14.29%. In Cycle II, the percentage reached 100%. This shows an increase of 35.71% compared to Cycle I. These results indicate that the CLiS learning model has a significant influence on improving students' science learning outcomes. Therefore, the application of the CLiS model can be said to be an effective strategy to improve the learning achievement of fourth-grade students of SD Inpres 1 Tond

    A Comparative Study of the Teachings of Panca Sradha in Hinduism and the Concept of Faith in Islam

    This study aims to provide a comparative analysis of the belief system of Panca Sraddha in Hinduism and the pillars of faith (rukn al-iman) in Islam through a text-based comparative theological approach. The research is motivated by the growing need to understand the theological foundations of two major religions that are often simplistically juxtaposed in interfaith discourse. Employing library research as its method, this study applies philosophical hermeneutics and reflective engagement with sacred texts, including the Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, Vedas, and the Qur’an. The findings reveal that while Panca sraddha and the Islamic pillars of faith serve similar normative functions as the foundations of belief, they differ significantly in terms of epistemological, ontological, and soteriological structures. These differences are particularly evident in concepts such as Brahman–Allah, atman–ruh, karma–deeds, punarbhava–punarbhava-the Day of Judgment, and moksa–heaven. The study contributes to the development of interreligious discourse in Indonesia by offering a theologically grounded and context-sensitive analytical framework. Nonetheless, the research has limitations, including restricted access to traditional Hindu commentaries and limited direct engagement with religious authorities from both traditions. These challenges underscore the need for further studies employing interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches to deepen interreligious understanding

    Leadership of School Principals in Improving The Quality of Teacher Learning

    School principals play a crucial role in improving the quality of teacher instruction and overall educational outcomes. In the context of rapidly evolving educational demands, principals are expected to manage administrative tasks and act as instructional leaders. This study aims to explore the role of principal leadership in enhancing the quality of teacher instruction at Madrasah Nurul Hakim. Using a qualitative ethnographic approach, data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, and students, and documentation analysis. The findings reveal that the principal implements a participatory leadership style that supports continuous supervision, encourages professional development, and fosters teacher involvement in decision-making processes. The principal effectively enhances teacher competence and instructional performance through regular classroom monitoring, academic supervision, and informal reflective discussions. The impact of such leadership extends to students, who demonstrate increased engagement, discipline, and enthusiasm for learning. It is concluded that effective principal leadership significantly contributes to improving teacher professionalism, positively affecting the quality of learning in school

    The Influence of Self-Efficacy and Teacher Academic Support on Students’ Time Management in Extracurricular Activities at Islamic Boarding Schools

    This study aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy and teacher academic support on students’ time management skills in extracurricular activities. In the context of modern education, student involvement in non-academic activities demands balanced time management skills. This study used a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design. The research sample amounted to 60 extracurricular coach teachers and subject teachers selected through the total sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire on three main variables: self-efficacy, teacher academic support, and student time management. Validity was tested through item total correlation, and reliability was tested with Cronbach’s Alpha. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 26 through multiple linear regression tests. The results showed that teacher self-efficacy had a significant effect on students’ time management ability, while teacher academic support did not show a significant effect, partially. However, simultaneously, both variables contributed 47.6% to time management. This finding emphasizes the importance of the teacher’s role in guiding students to manage time in a balanced manner between academic and extracurricular activities. Hopefully, this study can serve as a foundation for developing more responsive teaching strategies and teacher guidance, enabling students to manage their time effectively and achieve a balanced performance between academic and extracurricular activities, while also providing recommendations for schools to enhance professional development programs for teachers with a focus on time management guidance strategie

    This research examines the efficiency of time management in overcoming students' learning difficulties in Aqidah and Akhlak (Islamic Theology and Ethics) learning in seventh grade at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Bengkulu. The phenomenon of students' inability to manage study time effectively underscores the urgency of this research, considering its implications for academic performance and internalisation of moral-religious values. This qualitative research with a narrative approach involved 15 respondents, consisting of seventh-grade students, Aqidah Akhlak subject teachers, and homeroom teachers. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation study, with data analysis through the stages of reduction, presentation, and verification based on the Miles and Huberman model. Source and method triangulation were implemented to ensure data credibility. The research findings identified that students' learning difficulties are influenced by internal factors such as emotional instability and sensory disturbances, as well as external factors including family disharmony, economic limitations, negative social environment, and inadequate learning facilities. Analysis of time management efficiency revealed deficiencies in long-term goal formulation, systematic planning implementation, and the proportion balance between academic and recreational activities. The research findings contribute to the development of an integrated pedagogical intervention model that accommodates time management skills in the Aqidah Akhlak curriculum. The practical implications of the research point to the urgency of collaboration among educational tricenters to create an ecosystem that supports the optimisation of students' time management skills, thereby overcoming learning difficulties and enhancing understanding and appreciation of religious value

    Implementasi Program Habituasi 5 Juz Al-Qur’an dalam Mempermudah Hafalan dan Membentuk Sikap Istiqomah Santri

    The 5 Juz Al-Qur'an habituation program is implemented at Pondok Pesantren Ittihadul Qur'an Catakgayam Jombang to facilitate the memorization process of students and form an istiqamah attitude in everyday life. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation with the main informants consisting of pesantren caregivers, program teachers, and students. The results showed that 1) The implementation of the 5 juz Al-Qur'an habituation program at Ittihadul Quran Catakgayam Islamic Boarding School aims to form a routine habit of reading and memorizing the Al-Qur'an, deepening understanding of meaning, and applying the teachings of the Al-Qur'an in life to get closer to Allah and improve spiritual quality. 2) This program facilitates memorization and forms an istiqomah attitude of students with structured methods, such as muroqobah, group memorization, and routine assistance, so that students can memorize and practice the teachings of the Qur'an consistently. 3) The supporting factors of this program include the involvement of caregivers, a conducive environment, and a structured schedule, while the inhibiting factors are the psychological difficulties of students, lack of assistance, external disturbances, time constraints, and low internal motivation, which require more efforts to increase the effectiveness of the program

    Peran Pengasuh dalam Inovasi Kepemimpinan di Pondok Pesantren Al-Roudloh Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang

    This study aims to examine the role of the caregiver (pengasuh) in leadership innovation at Pondok Pesantren Al-Roudloh Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang and its impact on enhancing the religiosity of the students (santri) and the surrounding community. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the caregiver plays a central role in shaping the students' character through an approach that emphasizes role modeling, discipline, and independence. Leadership innovation is implemented through openness in activities that develop students’ potential and character formation based on traditional pesantren values. The main challenges include the young age of most students and the need to preserve the pesantren’s cultural heritage. Positive impacts of this leadership innovation are reflected in a more systematic management of the pesantren and increased student engagement in community activities. The study concludes that the charisma and leadership strategies of the caregiver significantly contribute to shaping an adaptive pesantren education system that remains rooted in traditional Islamic values

    This article aims to describe the character of the students and the factors that influence the character building of the students at Pondok Pesantren Fathul 'Ulum Jombang. The method is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques used are structured interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation. Data were analysed by condensing data, presenting data, verifying and concluding. Data validity testing techniques with extended observation, triangulation, member check. The results of research in the field show that, the character of students at Fathul 'Ulum Jombang Islamic Boarding School There are three main aspects that support communication (honesty, discipline and responsibility). The main factors that play an important role in shaping the character of students, namely biological factors, environmental factors and communication factors
