Revitalisasi Akhlak Remaja: Pendekatan Pendidikan Pesantren di Masa Kini
This study aims to describe the role of Darul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School in Developing Adolescent Morals in Jlopo Hamlet, Tebel, Bareng, Jombang. This research method uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative descriptive methods, and data validity testing through extended observation, increased persistence, triangulation, and friend discussions. The results showed that the morals of teenagers towards elders in Jlopo Hamlet were classified as good. They use polite language, say greetings first, and do not cut the conversation. The role of Darul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School is very significant in fostering adolescent morals. As an educational institution, this boarding school is a place to gain knowledge for teenagers. As a social institution, the boarding school involves teenagers in religious activities such as pilgrimage to the grave of the saint. As a guide, the boarding school organises recitation and mastery of the yellow book which teaches morals and fiqh. With various efforts from Darul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School, teenagers in Jlopo Hamlet are able to show good morals. This research is expected to contribute to the development of knowledge in the field of Islamic education and pesantren studies, as well as provide recommendations for other Islamic boarding schools in improving the quality of adolescent moral developmen
Integration of Spiritual and Cognitive Dimensions in Hadith Learning Jala'ul Afkar
This study analyzes the implementation of the Jala'ul Afkar Hadith memorization system in improving the spiritual intelligence and memory of students at the Al-Washoya Kertorejo Ngoro Jombang Islamic Boarding School. Using a qualitative approach with interviews, observation, and documentation methods, this study examines the hadith learning process that combines aspects of memorization, understanding, and internalization of values. The hadith memorization system is implemented through three stages: preparation, implementation, and deposit. The learning methods used are bandongan and talaqqi. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Jala'ul Afkar Hadith memorization system plays a significant role in improving the spiritual intelligence of students, especially in the aspects of piety and patience. The memorization process also contributes to improving cognitive abilities through organizing information, automation, and optimizing short-term knowledge storage capacity. Obstacles in implementing this system include difficulty in memorizing for students who are not serious, students' laziness in memorizing lessons, and loss of memorization because they are not repeated routinely. This study provides theoretical contributions to the discourse of integration of neuroscience and traditional Islamic education, as well as practical contributions in the form of a learning model that can be a prototype for other Islamic boarding schools in optimizing the potential of spiritual intelligence and memory of students
Strategi Frugal Living Dalam Pendidikan Islam Nonformal Untuk Penguatan Nilai Zuhud Dan Qanaah
This research analyzes the application of frugal living as a strategy to strengthen Islamic values, particularly zuhd (asceticism) and qana'ah (contentment), among young mothers through non-formal Islamic education in Plosokerep Village, Sumobito, Jombang. As consumerism increases, even in rural areas, it is important to equip people with values that promote simple living rooted in Islamic teachings. This descriptive qualitative research used interview methods, participatory observation, and documentation of educational activities at the local Muslimah recitation group. The findings show that when frugal living is framed with Islamic principles, the participants experience increased awareness of the importance of contentment, wise financial management, and inner peace. This research contributes to the development of community-based Islamic education as an effective means to internalize spiritual values in daily life. The conclusion emphasizes that frugal living is not just an economic lifestyle, but a contextual tool to build spiritual character

The teacher's efforts in increasing reading literacy, some teachers havea different or inadequate understanding of reading literacy, the teacher should be agood role model for their students. In this modern era, we find many problemswhere students are less interested in studying religious knowledge, especiallyregarding Islamic Religion Subjects and tend to prioritize subjects that are generalin nature rather than religious, so that students neglect learning from IslamicStudies. The purpose of this research is to describe: 1. To describe reading literacyin students of SDN Grobogaan 2 Mojowarno Jombang. 2. To escribe the efforts ofPAI teachers in increasing reading literacy of fourth grade students at SDNGrobogan 2 Mojowarno Jombang. Implementasi Pembelajaran Al-Qur’an Melalui Metode Ummi
This article aims to find out the implementation of learning the Qur'an through the Ummi method at MI Wahid Hasyim Krembangan Gudo Jombang. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a qualitative descriptive research design. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. Furthermore, data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis methods. The results of this study concluded that: 1. Implementation of Al-Qur'an learning through the Ummi method, namely: (a) Planning in the form of making lesson plans and syllabuses and all teachers must have certification (b) implementation in the form of: Ummi method handbook Stages in learning Learning techniques and learning time Supporting factors, obstacles and solutions in the implementation of Qur'anic learning through the Ummi method consist of: Supporting factors in the implementation of learning the Qur'an through the Ummi method consist of teacher factors, factors of interest and motivation of students, parental factors, the existence of coordinators, facilities and markets. Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Mahasiswa Prodi BPI STIT Al-Urwatul Wutsqo Melalui Pelatihan Penulisan Artikel
Writing skills are one of the most important basic skills that students must possess, both in academic and professional contexts. Writing is not just about expressing ideas, but also a means of critical thinking, logical argumentation, and systematic communication of ideas in accordance with the rules of good and correct language. Unfortunately, the reality on the ground shows that many students still struggle to produce well-structured, coherent writing with depth of analysis. This situation certainly poses a challenge for universities in preparing graduates who are not only theoretically competent but also able to communicate their ideas through writing. To address these issues, the Student Creativity Programme (PKM) was established with the aim of improving students' writing skills through a range of integrated activities. The main activities include academic writing training, creative writing workshops, and intensive mentoring by experienced mentors. The programme's implementation method emphasises a participatory approach, hands-on practice, and continuous evaluation that focuses on the participants' writing outcomes. Program outcomes demonstrate significant improvements in writing structure, idea development, and language accuracy. Students also appear more confident in producing written works, both scientific and non-scientific. Thus, this programme can serve as a strategic model for the sustainable and practical development of students' writing skills in higher education
STUDENTS' CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS ON THE USE OF FLIPBUILDER LEARNING MEDIA ENVIRONMENTAL CARE AND DISASTER RESPONSE BASED ON ISLAMIC VALUES: DOES IT AFFECT SOCIAL ATTITUDES AND RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE?
Improving the quality of education in Indonesia is one of the challenges the government must solve. The ability to think critically about caring for the environment and disaster response is a significant issue. Students must master it because it will impact various aspects of life, such as social attitudes and religious tolerance. One solution is to provide the material using the innovative learning media, FlipBuilder. This study aims to determine the influence of critical thinking on social attitudes, assess the impact of essential thinking skills on religious tolerance attitudes, and find out the influence of critical thinking skills on students' religious tolerance attitudes when using flipbuilder learning media with the theme of environmental care and disaster response based on Islamic values. The research was conducted through a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The research was conducted on grade VII students of MTsN 1 Tulungagung. Data analysis was carried out using inferential statistics. The results of the study showed that there was a positive and significant influence between critical thinking skills and social attitudes, there was a positive and significant influence between essential skills of thinking and religious tolerance attitudes, and there was a significant relationship between social attitude variables and students' religious tolerance attitudes

This study examines the curriculum and learning system at Curriculum and Learning System at Daarul Ilmi Integrated Islamic Boarding School West Bandung within the framework of integrated Islamic education. Situated in the field of Islamic Education and Curriculum Studies, this research aims to analyze the structure of the Kulliyatul Mu’allimin Al-Islamiyah (KMI) curriculum, its instructional methods, and their implications for the development of students’ academic, linguistic, and character competencies. The KMI model was initially developed by Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor as a modern Islamic education system that integrates religious and general sciences. This topic is crucial as modern pesantren face challenges in harmonizing religious education, the national curriculum, and mastery of international languages. Therefore, a systematic study is needed to evaluate its effectiveness. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and curriculum document analysis. The findings reveal that the KMI curriculum is holistically integrated with the national education system, combining formal, non-formal, and informal learning, with Arabic and English used as primary instructional languages. Such integration simultaneously fosters academic excellence, spiritual growth, and character formation. The contribution of this study lies in presenting an adaptive and relevant model of integrated Islamic education that can serve as a reference for curriculum development in modern Indonesian pesantre
The Concept of Islamization of Knowledge According to Hamid Fahmy Zarkasyi
This study critically examines the integration of the Islamic worldview into modern educational systems through the Islamization of knowledge framework, focusing on Hamid Fahmy Zarkasyi's epistemological contributions. Employing qualitative library research with a character study approach, this research analyses primary sources, including Zarkasyi's scholarly works, alongside secondary literature from al-Attas and al-Faruqi. Findings reveal that contemporary Islamic education suffers from an epistemological crisis rooted in the uncritical adoption of secular Western paradigms that contradict tawhidic foundations. Zarkasyi proposes a three-stage framework: epistemic identification of secular assumptions, critical deconstruction of contradictory presuppositions, and reconstruction upon tawhid, prophethood, and Islamic ethics. This research demonstrates that Islamization transcends theoretical discourse, offering concrete solutions to the knowledge-value dichotomy plaguing Muslim education. The study concludes that authentic Islamic educational reform requires dismantling and reconstructing knowledge paradigms themselves, not merely administrative or methodological adjustments. Implications include curriculum redesign integrating Islamic worldview, establishment of interdisciplinary research centres, and teacher training in Islamic epistemology to produce graduates with balanced spiritual integrity and intellectual competenc
The Importance Of Learning Curriculum Management For Institutional Quality
This study investigates the impact of curriculum management based on the POIE framework—Planning, Organizing, Implementing, and Evaluation—in improving institutional quality at MI Islamiyah Dinoyo Lamongan, a rural madrasah with various student backgrounds. Using quantitative approach was used to collect data from 38 respondents, including the principal, administrative personnel, and teachers. The measurement model results demonstrate that three dimensions of curriculum management (Planning, Organizing, Implementing, and Evaluation) meet validity standards; however, the Implementation indicator does not achieve the needed threshold, indicating inconsistencies between planned curriculum and instructional delivery. Institutional quality indicators (Leadership and Governance, Teacher Performance, Learning Outcomes, and Institutional Accreditation) have high validity, indicating their importance in measuring educational quality. Reliability tests show acceptable internal consistency for both constructs, with high Composite Reliability and AVE values indicating convergent validity. The findings show that curriculum management has a considerable impact on institutional quality, particularly in planning, organizational structure, and evaluation processes. However, the lack of execution highlights the need for greater pedagogical support. The study concludes that improving curricular implementation methods may boost overall institutional performance. This study helps to understand curriculum management in rural Islamic schools and has practical implications for increasing educational quality in similar circumstance
