Stille Narben: Die Entstehung von Multifaktoriellen Traumata und ihre Auswirkungen auf die Entwicklung im Latenzalter
Full text linkDer Begriff „Trauma“ ist vielen Menschen ein bekannter Begriff. Die tiefgreifenden Auswirkungen und welche Folgen eine Kombination von traumatisierenden Erfahrungen auf die Entwicklung eines Kindes haben kann, werden jedoch im alltäglichen Sprachgebrauch nur wenig bis gar nicht thematisiert. Oftmals bleibt die gesellschaftliche Auseinandersetzung mit dem Thema aufgrund der komplexen Natur und der bestehenden Stigmata auf einem oberflächlichen Level. Fragen zum Kindeswohl und zur Unterstützung betroffener Kinder bleiben in diesen Konversationen oftmals unbeantwortet. Der folgende Artikel bietet deshalb einen groben Überblick über die Thematik „Multifaktorielle Traumata“ und erste Einblicke in die Hintergründe, Auswirkungen und letztendlich therapeutischen Behandlungen. Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt wird in diesem Beitrag auf Traumatisierung durch körperliche Misshandlung und Fluchterfahrung gelegt

Full text linkThis essay evolves around the film „I Am Love” from Luca Guadagnino. The essay connects literature from the course “The Politics and Philosophy of Desire” with the film. It will focus on dimensions of love and desire from a critical and feminist viewpoint. First, there will be a look to spatial categories with gender studies expert Jorunn Økland. The core of the essay will show what kind of love the film presents. These thoughts relate to a text from ancient Greece, from the philosopher Plato, a text from Russian revolutionary Alexandra Kollontai from one hundred years ago and a contemporary text from the American philosopher Michael Hardt. Throughout the essay thoughts about love and desire from American culture theorist Lauren Berlant will flow in and combine with the author’s states about the topics
Bridges instead of barriers: New ways of knowledge transfer and social innovation in media education
No full textIn seinem Beitrag analysiert Christian Filk ein wegweisendes Fachgespräch zum Wissenstransfer in der Medienpädagogik, das am 7. März 2025 in Berlin stattfand. Filk dokumentiert die vom Institut für Innovation und Technik (iit) und der Sektion Medienpädagogik der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Erziehungswissenschaft (DGfE) veranstaltete Diskussion zur „Transferlücke“. Im Zentrum seiner Ausführungen stehen die systematische Identifikation von Transferhindernissen und die Entwicklung konkreter Lösungsstrategien. Christian Filk beschreibt die vorgestellten Impulsvorträge zum Konzept der sozialen Innovation und verschiedene Transferprojekte und reflektiert die Ergebnisse der Gruppendiskussionen, in denen strukturelle Defizite analysiert und innovative Lösungsansätze entwickelt wurden. Er plädiert er für einen Paradigmenwechsel von linearen zu dialogischen Transfermodellen und schließt mit der Erkenntnis, dass effektiver Wissenstransfer in der Medienpädagogik eine fundamentale Transformation der Forschungs- und Bildungskultur erfordert – weg von isolierten Projekten hin zu einem dynamischen Ökosystem mit gleichberechtigter Partnerschaft zwischen Wissenschaft und Praxis.In his contribution, Christian Filk analyzes a groundbreaking expert discussion on knowledge transfer in media education that took place in Berlin on March 7, 2025. Filk documents the discussion on the „transfer gap“ organized by the Institute for Innovation and Technology (iit) and the Media Education Section of the German Society for Educational Science (DGfE). His elaborations focus on the systematic identification of transfer barriers and the development of concrete solution strategies. Christian Filk describes the keynote presentations on the concept of social innovation and various transfer projects, and reflects on the results of group discussions in which structural deficits were analyzed and innovative solution approaches were developed. He advocates for a paradigm shift from linear to dialogical transfer models and concludes with the insight that effective knowledge transfer in media education requires a fundamental transformation of research and educational culture – away from isolated projects toward a dynamic ecosystem with equal partnership between science and practice

Full text linkDie Rezension diskutiert zwei Sammelbände zur Digitalisierung in der kulturellen und künstlerischen Bildung: „Auf der Suche nach der fünften Dimension – Kollaboration und Digitalität in der Kunstpädagogik“ und „Digitalisierung in der kulturellen Bildung. Interdisziplinäre Perspektiven für ein Feld im Aufbruch“. Während der erste Band pandemiebedingte Erfahrungen im Kunstunterricht und in der Hochschullehre reflektiert und digitale Kollaboration als ästhetisch-pädagogische Ressource untersucht, bietet der zweite eine umfassende Bestandsaufnahme langfristiger Transformationsprozesse im Rahmen des Förderprogramms „DiKuBi“. Gemeinsam zeigen die Werke, dass Digitalisierung nicht nur technische Erweiterungen ermöglicht, sondern kulturelle Praktiken, Bildungsverständnisse und institutionelle Strukturen tiefgreifend verändert. Die Rezension arbeitet verbindende Linien und Unterschiede heraus und diskutiert, welche Konsequenzen sich daraus für die medienpädagogische Forschung und Praxis ergeben. Interdisciplinary Perspectives for a Field in Transition’. While the first volume reflects on pandemic-related experiences in art education and university teaching and examines digital collaboration as an aesthetic-pedagogical resource, the second offers a comprehensive inventory of long-term transformation processes within the framework of the ‘DiKuBi’ funding programme. Together, the works show that digitisation not only enables technical enhancements, but also profoundly changes cultural practices, understandings of education and institutional structures. The review highlights commonalities and differences and discusses the consequences for media education research and practice. The focus is on digital cultures, collaborative processes and the need for professionalisation that goes beyond pure media literacy

Digital Strike: Monetizing Online Engagement and Content for Myanmar’s Spring Revolution
No full textDigital networks and social media are increasingly becoming spaces with high political stakes as well as great economic gains. This paper contributes to the ongoing debate concerning the relationship between economic and political motivations, particularly the observation that economic factors often drive the creation of politically charged content (Grohmann & Ong, 2024). We present a case in which the roles of economic and political incentives are turned on their head, the creation of seemingly nonpolitical content with the purpose of generating money for a political cause. The mechanism through which this inversion is possible is the second finding of this paper: A network of politically motivated internet users coordinate themselves to create, interact with, and watch content for the purpose of income generation through advertisement revenue, which is not for the content creators or users but for a commonly shared political goal. This phenomenon is analyzed in the highly contentious and violent political context of the coup, the Spring Revolution, and the ongoing civil war in Myanmar. In our analysis, we draw from theories of economic incentives in online content creation, click farms, and financial resource mobilization for collective action as well as algorithmic resistance

In Anlehnung an Merleau-Ponty können wir Körper als “lived media” verstehen: Unsere subjektiven Erfahrungen – die durch unser Geschlecht, Sexualität, Alter, race, ethnische Zugehörigkeit, Klasse usw. geprägt sind – sind in unsere Körper eingeschrieben und werden durch sie ausgedrückt. Als “lived media”, die durch Medien, Technologie und Gesellschaft mitproduziert werden, unterliegen Körper dem Wandel und sind in ihrer Zeitlichkeit und Örtlichkeit situiert und erzählen Narrative von Macht, Privilegien und Ungleichheit
