    ACQUIRING KNOWLEDGE FROM BIG DATA IN THE DIGITAL AGE : A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW

    Big Data has become a critical driver of innovation and competitiveness, yet many organizations continue to struggle to transform data into actionable knowledge. This challenge persists because firms lack clarity on the critical resources and integrated processes required to effectively acquire and apply knowledge from Big Data. This study conducts a PRISMA-guided systematic literature review to synthesize how firms acquire knowledge from Big Data, the resources that enable this capability, and how the resulting knowledge enhances decision quality. The findings reveal that Big Data knowledge acquisition operates through a three-stage cycle, data integration, analytical knowledge generation, and organizational absorption and application, supported by six interdependent resource dimensions: technology, human, data, organization, knowledge, and environment. Each dimension plays a distinct but complementary role in enabling firms to capture, integrate, and transform Big Data into meaningful knowledge. The study identifies actionable patterns that demonstrate how these resources can be configured to strengthen evidence-based decision-making, strategic foresight, innovation, and continuous learning. By clarifying the dynamic interplay between methods, processes, and resources, this study provides both theoretical insights and practical guidance for organizations seeking to develop sustainable data-driven capabilities

    PREDIKSI HARGA PENUTUPAN HARIAN ETHEREUM TERHADAP RUPIAH MENGGUNAKAN RANDOM FOREST DAN INDIKATOR TEKNIKAL

    This research aims to develop a predictive model for estimating the daily closing price of Ethereum (ETH) against the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) using the Random Forest Regression algorithm. Ethereum is one of the most widely traded cryptocurrencies and is known for its high volatility, which makes accurate price prediction essential for supporting data-driven investment decisions. Historical price data were collected from the CoinGecko API for a period of 365 days, followed by preprocessing, feature engineering, and the computation of several technical indicators including Exponential Moving Average (EMA-14), Relative Strength Index (RSI-14), Daily Return, Bollinger Bands Upper, Average True Range (ATR-14), and Close Lag-1.The research starting from data selection and preprocessing to modeling, evaluation and visualization. Random Forest Regression was chosen due to its robustness in handling nonlinear relationships and noisy time-series data. The dataset was split using a 90:10 time-based hold-out method, and model performance was evaluated using four regression metrics: MAE, RMSE, MAPE, and R-squared. The best configuration of the model achieved a MAPE of 2.88%, indicating a high level of predictive accuracy. Feature importance analysis shows that Daily Return and ATR-14 contributed most significantly to the prediction. The findings demonstrate that Random Forest Regression can effectively capture the nonlinear patterns in cryptocurrency price movements, providing an accurate and reliable model for short-term forecasting. This model may serve as a valuable reference for investors, financial analysts, and developers of automated trading systems

    Finding relevant job vacancy information is often a challenge for job seekers due to the large volume of data on the internet and the limitations of exact keyword matching, which often produces inaccurate results. This study aims to build a job vacancy Information Retrieval (IR) system using the Vector Space Model (VSM) approach. The system applies Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) for term weighting and Cosine Similarity to measure the relevance between user queries and job documents. The study utilized a dataset of 350 documents, consisting of 300 valid job postings and 50 noise documents. The text preprocessing stages included case folding, tokenizing, filtering, and stemming. System performance was evaluated using Precision, Recall, and F-Measure metrics on 10 different search queries. The test results demonstrated high accuracy in retrieving relevant documents, achieving an average Precision of 0.840 (84%) at the top-10 threshold and 0.880 (88%) at the top-15 threshold. These results indicate that the combination of TF-IDF and Cosine Similarity is effective in filtering out irrelevant documents and ranking job vacancies according to the user's needs

    The selection of fertilizers that are not in accordance with land conditions and the needs of rice crops can reduce crop productivity. This problem is experienced by farmers in Bumiharjo Village, Guntur District, Demak Regency, who generally determine fertilizer usage based on habits and experience. This study aims to assist farmers in selecting the most appropriate rice fertilizer through the implementation of a decision support system based on the Best–Worst Method (BWM) and the Complex Proportional Assessment (COPRAS) method. The BWM method is used to determine the weight of each criterion, while the COPRAS method is applied to rank the fertilizer alternatives. The criteria used include fertilizer price, environmental impact, fertilizer availability, soil suitability, nutrient content quality, application efficiency and dosage, and pest resistance. The fertilizer alternatives analyzed consist of Urea, NPK Phonska, Organic fertilizer, SP-36, ZA, Petroganik, and KCL. The results show that nutrient content quality is the criterion with the highest weight. Based on the COPRAS calculation, ZA fertilizer is recommended as the best alternative with a utility value of 100.00%, followed by KCL at 98.98% and Petroganik at 52.73%. Validation of the ranking results using Normalized Discounted Cumulative Gain (NDCG) yields a value of 0.856, which falls into the high category, indicating that the ranking results have a high level of closeness to the ideal condition. Therefore, the BWM and COPRAS methods are effective for use as a decision support system in selecting rice fertilizers

    This study compares the political rhetoric of Prabowo Subianto in the presidential candidate debates of the 2019 and 2024 elections concerning Human Rights (HAM) issues, using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic theory. The findings reveal a significant shift from assertive and formal rhetoric in 2019 to a more relaxed and humorous style in 2024. This transformation was influenced by semiotic dimensions, including clothing choices, verbal and non-verbal expressions, and the individuals seated in the supporters' row, all of which reinforced the shift in Prabowo's rhetoric between the 2019 and 2024 presidential debates. This study affirms the importance of rhetorical analysis that not only focuses on words but also takes into account the surrounding semiotic context

    PENGEMBANGAN VIDEO PEMBELAJARAN SISTEM PENGAPIAN SEPEDA MOTOR FI UNTUK SISWA DI SMK

    The limited availability of instructional media can affect students’ understanding of the material, particularly in practical learning such as the motorcycle fuel injection (FI) ignition system. This study aims to develop and assess the feasibility of an instructional video on the FI ignition system for Grade XI students of the Motorcycle Engineering and Business (TBSM) program at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bambanglipuro. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D model, which includes the stages of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The research subjects consisted of material and media experts from the Vocational and Technical Education Department, Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa (UST), as validators, and 32 students as media users. Data were collected using validation questionnaires and analyzed quantitatively to determine the media’s feasibility. The validation results showed that the instructional video received scores of 84% from material experts, 85% from media experts, and 89% from students, all of which fall into the “highly feasible” category. Based on these findings, the developed instructional video is proven to be effective and feasible as a supporting medium to enhance students’ conceptual and practical understanding of the FI ignition system in vocational schools

    Understanding students' perspectives on the teaching profession and their interest in participating in the PPG program for prospective teachers is very important for improving teacher competence. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a study on students' perspectives on the teaching profession and their interest in participating in the PPG program for prospective teachers. The objectives of this study are to determine: (1) students' perspectives on the teaching profession; (2) students' interest in participating in the PPG program; and (3) the influence of students' perspectives on the teaching profession on their interest in participating in the PPG program. The population in this study were students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Palangka Raya, class of 2022. The data collection technique used in this study was a survey method. The results of the study showed that students' perspectives on the teaching profession were in the moderate or sufficient category. This indicates that students' perspectives on the teaching profession are quite good and can foster their interest in participating in the PPG program for prospective teachers. Meanwhile, students' interest in participating in the PPG program for prospective teachers falls into the moderate or sufficient category. This indicates that students' interest in participating in the PPG program for prospective teachers is quite high.     Penelitian ini menganalisis dinamika politik hukum penanganan penyalahguna narkotika di Indonesia melalui implementasi Kebijakan Asesmen Terpadu. Permasalahan utama terletak pada kontradiksi antara kerangka normatif yang menekankan pendekatan rehabilitatif dengan budaya punitif yang mendominasi praktik penegakan hukum. Menggunakan metode penelitian hukum normatif dengan pendekatan kasus (Putusan PN Samarinda Nomor 1045/Pid.Sus/2019/PN Smr), studi ini mengkaji inkonsistensi penerapan hukum tersebut. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada temuan bahwa kegagalan prosedural pelaksanaan asesmen terpadu sejak tahap penyidikan merupakan titik krusial yang melumpuhkan politik hukum rehabilitatif, sehingga memaksa pengadilan menjatuhkan vonis penjara bahkan bagi penyalahguna skala kecil. Kondisi ini tervalidasi oleh data nasional di mana 23,10% penghuni lembaga pemasyarakatan adalah penyalahguna yang seharusnya direhabilitasi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan reformasi prosedural yang mewajibkan asesmen terpadu di tingkat penyidikan serta penguatan daya ikat rekomendasi medis-hukum tersebut

    Perkembangan teknologi dalam pendidikan tinggi telah mengalami percepatan signifikan dalam satu dekade terakhir, terutama setelah terjadinya pandemi yang mendorong penggunaan sistem pembelajaran digital secara luas. Meskipun demikian, penggunaan teknologi secara masif menimbulkan berbagai persoalan baru, termasuk menurunnya kedekatan emosional antara dosen dan mahasiswa serta meningkatnya kelelahan belajar. Penelitian konseptual ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji paradigma EduTech 5.0 sebagai pendekatan baru yang mengintegrasikan teknologi cerdas dengan nilai kemanusiaan untuk meningkatkan personalisasi dan adaptivitas pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi. Kajian dilakukan melalui analisis literatur terbaru yang membahas personalisasi pembelajaran, pembelajaran adaptif, peranan analitik pembelajaran, serta urgensi humanisasi dalam lingkungan pendidikan digital. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa teknologi mampu meningkatkan efektivitas pengajaran, namun tetap memerlukan pendekatan humanis agar mahasiswa memperoleh pengalaman belajar yang bermakna. EduTech 5.0 dipahami sebagai paradigma yang berusaha menempatkan mahasiswa sebagai pusat proses pembelajaran melalui penggunaan teknologi yang mendukung fleksibilitas, kesehatan mental, serta interaksi pedagogis yang lebih mendalam. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahawa penerapan EduTech 5.0 berpotensi memperkuat kualitas pendidikan tinggi apabila diimbangi dengan penguatan peranan dosen sebagai pembimbing akademik dan emosional.     HUBUNGAN DURASI SCREEN TIME HANDPHONE TERHADAP TINGKAT STRES MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN MULTIMEDIA

    ABSTRAK  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara durasi penggunaan layar (screen time) pada smartphone dengan tingkat stres mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Multimedia. Di era digital, mahasiswa multimedia memiliki beban ganda dalam penggunaan layar untuk keperluan akademik dan hiburan, yang memunculkan paradoks antara produktivitas dan risiko kesehatan mental. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional dengan instrumen kuesioner yang mengadaptasi indikator prokrastinasi akademik dan skala stres DASS. Sebanyak 51 mahasiswa berpartisipasi sebagai responden. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara durasi screen time dengan tingkat stres mahasiswa (p > 0,05). Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa stres yang dialami mahasiswa lebih dipengaruhi oleh faktor eksternal seperti beban tugas teknis (workload) dan tekanan tenggat waktu (deadline), bukan semata-mata durasi interaksi dengan layar. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan baru bahwa bagi mahasiswa bidang teknologi, durasi layar merupakan bagian dari aktivitas produktif yang tidak serta-merta berdampak negatif jika dikelola dengan baik. Kata kunci: Screen Time, Tingkat Stres, Mahasiswa Multimedia, Prokrastinasi Akademik.   ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the relationship between smartphone screen time duration and stress levels among Multimedia Education students. In the digital era, multimedia students face a double burden of screen usage for both academic and entertainment purposes, creating a paradox between productivity and mental health risks. The study employed a quantitative correlational method with a questionnaire adapting academic procrastination indicators and the DASS stress scale. A total of 51 students participated as respondents. Data were analyzed using statistical correlation tests. The results indicated no significant relationship between screen time duration and student stress levels (p > 0.05). This suggests that student stress is more influenced by external factors such as technical workload and deadlines, rather than solely by the duration of screen interaction. These findings provide new insights that for technology students, screen time is part of productive activity that does not necessarily have negative impacts if managed well.
