This research aims to determine and describe the level of creativethinking ability of students of the Mathematics Education Study ProgramDepartment of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty of Mathematicsof Palangka Raya on trigonometry subject. The results showed that thepercentage of students with TKBK 4; 3; 2; 1 and 0 were 10.35%; 17.24%;20.69%; 34.48% and 17.24%. When solving mathematics problem, studentshave TKBK 4 fulfill the aspects of very creative criteria; TKBK 3 fulfill ofthe aspects of fluency as well as the flexibility of the criteria of creativethinking because able to apply a concept or formula in different wayscorrectly and the calculations also correctly; TKBK 2 fulfill of aspectsflexibility of creative thinking criteria because able to provide an idea of adifferent way or solution but cannot be done properly so that calculation is errors; TKBK 1 fulfill the eloquence aspect of creative thinking criteriabecause able to solve problems using one method or solution correctly andunable to provide a different way; TKBK 0 is unable to fulfill any aspect ofthe three criteria of creative thinking because unable to solve problems

This research aims to describe: 1). Activity of teacher and studentsby using Quantum Learning , 2) Achievement of students by using QuantumLearning, 3) Response of students by using quantum learning. Theinstruments were activity sheet of teacher and student, final test andquestionnaire. Based on the activity observation sheet shows the activities ofteachers and students were good. Individual test results at each meetingalso improved. At the first meeting the student achievement level was 78.91% and classical completeness was 91.30% with 21 students com. Atthe fourth meeting, the student achievement level was 88.77% and classicalcompleteness was 100% with 23 students who completed it. Studentachievement from final test that were given to 20 students, as many as 18students scored above the KKM (standard minimum achievement) withstudent achievement levels was 82.38% and classical learning completenesswas 90%. On the results of the questionnaire responses obtained an averageof 84.75% student answers with high criteria. In general students respondpositively about implemantion of the Quantum Learning during the learningprocess77.12% and classical learning completeness was 81.82% with 18 students. At the second and third meeting, the level of student achievement wa

The research aims to described the significance of the effect of : 1) theteacher's ability on the student achievement, 2) the teachers’ motivation toteach on student achievement, 3) the teachers’ ability and motivation toteach on student achievement in class XI Sekolah Menengah KejuruanNegeri (SMKN-2) Palangkaraya. The method used the survey methodassociative exsploration level with the relationship of causal variables andtypes of quantitative data. The population as sampel of research of 35students by taking all members of the "population", as a sample (totalsample). Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that theability and motivation of teachers significantly influences the learningachievement of Grade of XI students of Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri(SMKN) 2 Palangkaraya of 82.40% positively and the regression equationof Y = 2.94 + 0.60X1 +0.68X2 . While 27.60% is influenced by other thingssuch as the social background of students, family conditions, abilities andattitudes the teacher has a very large share in influencing studentachievement

This Classroom Action Research aims to increase motivation to learnmathematics using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model for studentsof class VIII-A of SMP Negeri 2 Parenggean. This study consisted of twocycles, with research subjects of 25 students. Each cycle consists of fourstages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing andreflecting. The research instrument used consisted of observations of theimplementation of learning sheets, affective assessment instruments usingstudents 'mathematics learning motivation questionnaires and multiplechoice tests to see students' cognitive learning outcomes in mathematics. Data analysis was performed by comparing the initial conditions before theaction, the end of the first cycle and the end of the second cycle qualitativelyand quantitatively. In the first cycle, of student motivation showed a score of82.80 (average) consisting of 1 student (4%) in the low category, 13students (52%) on average, 9 students (36%) in the high category and 2students (8%) ) in very high category and PBL learning implementationreached 79.68%. In the second cycle students' learning motivationscores 93.44 (high) with 4 students (16%) in the average category, 15students (60%) in the high category and 6 students (24%) in the very highcategory and 90.63% in the implementation of learning. . The resultsshowed that mathematics learning with PBL models can increase students'motivation to learn mathematics

The objectives of this study are: (1) to describe the process of applyingthe brainstorming model in learning to write official letters to students ofPBSI FKIP UPR Even Semester academic year 2018/2019, (2) describe theresults of applying the brainstorming learning model in writing officialletters to PBSI students Even Academic Year 2018/2019. The learningprocess of PBSI FKIP UPR students while participating in learning to writeofficial letters by applying a brainstorming model showed very good results, because all descriptors to assess the learning process were interpretedalmost entirely and in full. While the learning outcomes of PBSI FKIP UPRstudents in the activity of writing official letters by applying thisbrainstorming learning model has increased

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of petrobio on soil biological  inland peat on the growth and yield of chili. The design of experiments  used  Completely Randomized Design (CRD) single factor consisting of 6 treatments was: 0 kg ha-1 (control), 10 kg ha-1, 20 kg ha-1, 30 kg ha-1, 40 kg ha-1, 50 kg ha-1. The variables measured were: plant height, number of productive branches, number of fruits, fresh fruit weight, and the weight of dried fruit. The results showed that applying of dose of petrobio-fertilizers on peat soil had significant effect on plant height, number of productive branches and yield. Biological fertilizer of Petrobio 50 kg ha-1  was  able to increase the average height  plants, number of productive branches, crop yield, fresh weight of fruit and dry weight of fruit by 61.60 cm, 7.80, 16.20 fruit plant-1, 129.63 g plant-1, 23.26 g plant-1  respectively

Contrastive analysis is aimed to identify aspects of the differences ordissimilarities between two or more languages being contrasted. There aretwo kinds of approach in contrastive analysis, applied contrastive analysisand pure contrastive analysis. Applied contrastive analysis is aimed to solvepedagogical problems, while the pure one is aimed to study languagetypology. Applied contrastive analysis is discussed in this article. There aretwo procedures to contrast the components of contrasted languages, theyare (1) description and (2) comparison. Based on the results, Englishvowels which are difficult to pronounce by Indonesian students are (1) longvowel sounds (tense vowels) [i:, u:, ?:, ?:, ?:]and (2) short vowels sounds(lax vowels) [æ]. Contrastive analysis is included into structural linguisticswhich has many significances, namely (1) to overcome the difficulties in learning a foreign language; (2) to predict the students’ difficulties inlearning a foreign language, and (3) the foreign language teachers canutilize the results of contrastive analysis to arrange learning materials
