    ENHANCING TOURISM REVENUE AND FOREIGN INVESTOR CONFIDENCE IN MONGOLIA: STRATEGIES AND DEVELOPMENTAL CONTRIBUTIONS

    This paper aims to elucidate comprehensive strategies for Mongolia to amplify its tourism revenue and the research emphasizes understanding traveller perceptions through destination image analysis, including both cognitive and emotional aspects, to better meet international expectations, enhance satisfaction, and encourage repeat visits. Mongolia’s cultural treasures, including five UNESCO World Heritage Sites, its historical landmarks, and the appeal of its landscapes and nomadic culture, present significant development potential. However, unlocking this potential requires continued reforms and infrastructural investments to improve accessibility and service quality within the tourism industry. The resilience of domestic tourism, despite global setbacks, offers opportunities for broader recovery and growth. By utilizing targeted policies based on comprehensive data and strategic branding, Mongolia can position itself as a premier global tourism destination and create an attractive environment for foreign investment. These strategies aim to foster sustainable economic growth, promote cultural preservation, and strengthen Mongolia’s international tourism profile. Ultimately, this holistic approach will support the nation’s economic stability, diversification, and long-term development. By capitalizing on its unique assets and addressing current challenges, and the findings suggest Mongolia can unlock its full potential as a premier global tourism destination, concurrently fostering a robust and attractive environment for foreign investment. This comprehensive approach will not only enhance the visitor experience but also contribute to sustainable economic growth and cultural preservation, solidifying Mongolia\u27s position on the international stage

    EFFECT OF FOREIGN FINANCE ON SME’S PRODUCTIVITYIN LAGOS, NIGERIA

    This study explored the effect of foreign finance on the productivity of SMEs in Lagos State Nigeria. Adopting Pecking Order Theory and the Resource-Based Theory, the study hypothesised links between foreign finance and SMEs performance variable. The study employed a survey design using random sampling technique with 361 sample size out of a population of 5,344. Primary data were collected with the aid of a questionnaire on a five-point Likert scale distributed through hard and electronic means to SMEs in Lagos State. Both descriptive and inferential statistics with regression analysis were employed to examine the five hypotheses with the aid of Statistical Package for Social Sciences. The overall findings revealed that foreign finance elements of foreign direct investment (FDI), foreign venture capital (FVC), foreign loan (FL) and foreign grant (FG) had significant positive effect on the performance of SMEs in Lagos Statewith foreign grant leading the park. Size of the firm has no significant effect on SMEs performance. The study concluded that change foreign finance elements have significant effects on SMEs productivity in Lagos State. SMEs can draw insight from this study to engage in structuring their business to attract foreign investors. It is recommended that SMEs  should make themselves attractive to foreign investors and grantors by structuring their companies and improve on their reporting process

    HOW LINGUISTIC CAPITAL INFLUENCES OVERTIME PAY AMONG LOW-SKILLED MIGRANT WORKERS IN MALAYSIA: A QUALITATIVE STUDY OF BANGLADESHI WORKERS

    Drawing on Bourdieu’s linguistic capital theory, this study utilized semi-structured inter-views with76 low-skilled Bangladeshi workers in Malaysia to explore how language ca-pability influences the overtime pay. The findings suggest that linguistic capital acts as an informal threshold in the allocation of overtime pay through three mechanisms: commu-nication efficiency, opportunity screening, and competency-based trust. This study ex-tends research on linguistic capital by demonstrating how language skills influence the informal income distribution of low-skilled foreign workers. This study contributes to the literature on linguistic capital and labor inequality by reconceptualizing language capa-bility as an informal institutional mechanism embedded in managerial practices through which overtime opportunities and income advantages for low-skilled foreign workers are unevenly distributed

    CAPACIDADES DINÁMICAS Y VENTAJA COMPETITIVA EN PYMES LATINOAMERICANAS: UN MODELO BASADO EN INNOVACIÓN ORGANIZACIONAL

    El presente artículo analiza la relación entre las capacidades dinámicas, la innovación organizacional y la ventaja competitiva en pequeñas y medianas empresas (PYMES) de América Latina. Mediante un enfoque cuantitativo, se examina un modelo teórico que postula a la innovación organizacional como mediadora en la relación entre las capacidades dinámicas (detección, aprovechamiento y reconfiguración) y la obtención de una ventaja competitiva sostenible. Se aplicó una encuesta a 350 gerentes de PYMES en Argentina, Chile, Colombia, México y Perú. Los resultados, obtenidos a través de un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales, confirman que las capacidades dinámicas influyen positivamente en la innovación organizacional y que esta, a su vez, es un predictor significativo de la ventaja competitiva. Estos hallazgos subrayan la importancia de que las PYMES latinoamericanas no solo desarrollen la habilidad de adaptarse a los cambios del entorno, sino que también implementen innovaciones en sus estructuras y procesos para transformar esas capacidades en resultados de mercado superiores. El estudio ofrece implicaciones prácticas para los gerentes y recomendaciones para futuras líneas de investigación

    INFLUENCIA DE LA CALIDAD DE GESTIÓN EN LA ACREDITACIÓN DE PROGRAMAS DE EDUCACIÓN SUPERIOR EN LA REGIÓN ANDINA

    La gestión de la calidad es un pilar fundamental para el fortalecimiento de la educación superior. El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar la influencia de la calidad de la gestión en el proceso de acreditación de las escuelas profesionales de educación en universidades de la región andina del Perú. Se empleó un enfoque cuantitativo con un diseño no experimental, transeccional y de tipo causal-explicativo. La muestra consistió en 345 estudiantes universitarios, seleccionados mediante un muestreo probabilístico estratificado de una población de 3,400. Se utilizó un cuestionario validado para la recolección de datos, y el análisis se realizó mediante un modelo de regresión lineal simple. Los resultados revelaron que la calidad de la gestión tiene una influencia directa y positiva en el proceso de acreditación (R² = 0.882; p < 0.001). Se concluye que la implementación de sistemas de gestión de la calidad es un factor predictivo significativo para el éxito de los procesos de acreditación universitaria en el contexto estudiado

    Practical pedagogical approaches for enhancing entrepreneurship education curriculum and graduate entrepreneur development in South African’s higher education

    This study explores how practical pedagogy can catalyse the alignment of entrepreneurship education with the development of graduate entrepreneurs in South African higher education. Despite prioritising entrepreneurship education to address unemployment and economic challenges, the current curriculum remains predominantly theoretical, limiting graduates’ ability to translate knowledge into venture creation. Drawing on literature and empirical evidence, the study emphasises the integration of theory-based and action-oriented learning, mentorship, and work-integrated programs as essential components for fostering entrepreneurial intention and competencies. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through focus group interviews with 60 students from two universities in the Western Cape and analysed using Atlas.ti. Findings reveal significant gaps in pedagogical strategies, including the absence of practical frameworks, experiential learning, mentorship, and industrial exposure, which collectively hinder entrepreneurial development. The study recommends restructuring entrepreneurship pedagogy to incorporate interactive, student-centred approaches that combine conceptual knowledge with hands-on experiences, supported by mentorship and work-integrated learning. These interventions are critical for cultivating entrepreneurial mindsets and equipping graduates to pursue entrepreneurship as a viable career path.     ثير اليقين القانوني من خلال تسجيل الأراضي العرفية مسألة وجود مجتمعات القانون العرفي في سياسة قانون الأراضي الوطنية، فضلاً عن الحماية القانونية الوقائية من خلال تسجيل الأراضي العرفية. إن الاعتراف بمجتمعات القانون العرفي ذات الحقوق العرفية وفقاً للقانون العرفي يحتاج إلى تفسير باعتباره اعترافاً بنظام القانون العرفي في قطاع الأراضي. منهج هذا البحث هو بحث قانوني معياري، وهو نوع من البحث المستخدم للنظر في الجوانب القانونية في التفاعلات الاجتماعية. هذا النوع من البحث هو بحث قانوني معياري، أي بحث قانوني يشمل موضوع دراسته الأحكام التشريعية أو ما يسمى أيضاً بالبحث القانوني المكتبي، وهو بحث يتم عن طريق فحص المواد المكتبية أو البيانات الثانوية فقط. منهجية حل المشكلات المستخدمة في هذا البحث هي: المنهج التشريعي والمنهج المفاهيمي. وبناءً على نتائج هذه الكتابة، وجد أن الإلحاح في تسجيل حقوق الأراضي يكمن في الحماية القانونية وضمان اليقين القانوني لأصحاب حقوق الأراضي، مما يخلق شعوراً بالأمان تجاه الأراضي التي يسيطرون عليها. إن تسجيل الأراضي العرفية ضمن حقوق الإدارة لا يضمن اليقين القانوني وحماية الحقوق العرفية لمجتمعات القانون العرفي.Legal certainty through customary land registration raises the issue of the existence of customary law communities in national land law politics as well as preventive legal protection through registration of customary land. Recognition of customary law communities with customary rights according to customary law needs to be interpreted as recognition of the customary law system in the land sector. This research method is normative legal juridical research, which is a type of research used to look at legal aspects in social interactions in society. This type of research is normative juridical research, namely legal research whose object of study includes legislative provisions or also called library legal research. Library legal research is research conducted by examining library materials or secondary data only. The problem approach used in this research, namely: statute approach, and conceptual approach. Based on the results of this writing, it is found that the urgency of registering land rights is the legal protection and guarantee of legal certainty for holders of land rights, thus creating a sense of security over the land they control.  The registration of customary land into management rights does not guarantee legal certainty and protection of the customary rights of Masyarakat Hukum Adat.La seguridad jurídica a través del registro de tierras consuetudinarias plantea la cuestión de la existencia de comunidades de derecho consuetudinario en la política nacional de derecho agrario, así como la protección jurídica preventiva mediante el registro de tierras tradicionales. El reconocimiento de las comunidades de derecho consuetudinario con derechos territoriales debe interpretarse como el reconocimiento del sistema de derecho consuetudinario en el sector de la tierra. El método de esta investigación es jurídico-normativo, un tipo de investigación utilizado para observar los aspectos legales en las interacciones sociales. Este estudio se define como una investigación jurídica normativa, cuyo objeto incluye disposiciones legislativas, también denominada investigación jurídica bibliográfica, basada en el examen de materiales de biblioteca o datos secundarios. Los enfoques utilizados son el enfoque estatutario y el conceptual. Basado en los resultados, se concluye que la urgencia del registro de los derechos sobre la tierra es la protección y garantía de la seguridad jurídica para sus titulares, creando un sentido de seguridad sobre la tierra que controlan. El registro de tierras consuetudinarias bajo derechos de gestión no garantiza la certeza jurídica ni la protección de los derechos territoriales de las Comunidades de Derecho Consuetudinario.La sécurité juridique à travers l\u27enregistrement des terres coutumières soulève la question de l\u27existence des communautés de droit coutumier dans la politique foncière nationale, ainsi que la protection juridique préventive par l\u27enregistrement des terres ancestrales. La reconnaissance des communautés de droit coutumier et de leurs droits fonciers doit être interprétée comme la reconnaissance du système de droit coutumier dans le secteur foncier. La méthode de recherche est juridique-normative, utilisée pour analyser les aspects légaux des interactions sociales. Il s\u27agit d\u27une recherche juridique normative dont l\u27objet d\u27étude inclut les dispositions législatives, également appelée recherche juridique bibliographique, réalisée par l\u27examen de documents de bibliothèque ou de données secondaires. Les approches utilisées sont l\u27approche statutaire et l\u27approche conceptuelle. Sur la base des résultats, il apparaît que l\u27urgence de l\u27enregistrement des droits fonciers réside dans la protection et la garantie de la sécurité juridique pour les détenteurs de droits, créant ainsi un sentiment de sécurité sur les terres contrôlées. L\u27enregistrement des terres coutumières en droits de gestion ne garantit pas la certitude juridique et la protection des droits fonciers des Communautés de Droit Coutumier.A segurança jurídica através do registro de terras consuetudinárias levanta a questão da existência de comunidades de direito tradicional na política nacional de direito agrário, bem como a proteção jurídica preventiva por meio do registro de terras tradicionais. O reconhecimento de comunidades tradicionais com direitos consuetudinários deve ser interpretado como o reconhecimento do sistema de direito consuetudinário no setor fundiário. O método desta pesquisa é jurídico-normativo, utilizado para analisar aspectos legais nas interações sociais. Trata-se de uma pesquisa jurídico-normativa, ou seja, uma pesquisa jurídica cujo objeto de estudo inclui disposições legislativas, também chamada de pesquisa jurídica bibliográfica, realizada por meio do exame de materiais bibliográficos ou dados secundários. As abordagens utilizadas são a abordagem estatutária e a conceitual. Com base nos resultados, verificou-se que a urgência do registro de direitos sobre a terra reside na proteção e garantia da segurança jurídica para os detentores desses direitos, criando um senso de segurança sobre a terra controlada. O registro de terras consuetudinárias como direitos de gestão não garante, por si só, a segurança jurídica e a proteção dos direitos originários das Comunidades de Direito Tradicional

    NARRAR EL CONFLICTO RECIENTE: ARTICULACIONES ENTRE PENSAMIENTO HISTÓRICO Y CONCIENCIA HISTÓRICA EN LA FORMACIÓN INICIAL DEL PROFESORADO

    Este estudio analiza la articulación entre los niveles de pensamiento histórico y los tipos de conciencia histórica presentes en narrativas elaboradas por profesorado en formación inicial sobre el estallido social chileno de 2019–2020. Desde un enfoque de análisis de contenido cualitativo con cuantificación descriptiva, se examinan 306 narrativas producidas por estudiantes de Pedagogía en Educación Básica y de Educación Media en Historia, Geografía y Ciencias Sociales de tres universidades del sur de Chile. El análisis se estructura a partir de dos matrices teóricas: los aprendizajes de primer y segundo orden del pensamiento histórico y la tipología de conciencia histórica propuesta por Rüsen. Los resultados muestran un predominio de niveles intermedios y avanzados de pensamiento histórico, asociados principalmente a formas de conciencia histórica crítica y, en menor medida, genética. No obstante, se identifican tensiones formativas relevantes, ya que el desarrollo de habilidades analíticas avanzadas no garantiza de manera automática una orientación temporal genética capaz de articular pasado, presente y futuro. En conclusión, los hallazgos subrayan la necesidad de fortalecer mediaciones didácticas explícitas en la formación inicial docente que favorezcan la proyección ética, pedagógica y ciudadana del conocimiento histórico, especialmente en la enseñanza de acontecimientos recientes y socialmente controvertidos

    THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE LEVEL OF EDUCATION AND SOME INDICATORS OF THE MENTAL HEALTH OF THE CIVILIAN POPULATION IN WAR CONDITIONS

    The article is devoted to studying the relationship between education and the state of the population’s mental health in wartime. Referencing the results of studies conducted by foreign and Ukrainian scientists, the authors note that in EU countries the level of education is associated with the content of work, the nature of employment, professional status and prestige, as well as with the level of wealth. Thus, people with a higher educational attainment have more prestigious jobs and higher incomes, which, firstly, create conditions for well-being and, secondly, provide wide access to mental health resources and professional help. It is emphasized that in Ukraine there is no stable relationship between the level of education, the prestige of work, and the level of wages, and therefore the level of education cannot be considered a determinant of mental health. Instead, involvement in the educational process forms strong social networks and coping skills and can be a resource, increasing the level of psychological and social resilience. The article considers the results of a study conducted by the Department of Sociology and Psychology at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, devoted to monitoring the mental health of the population of Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region during the period of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine (two waves of the study in 2023 and 2024; n = 730 and n = 543, respectively). We conducted a secondary analysis of the second wave data aimed at identifying the relationship between education and mental health indicators. The results of the analysis proved that, in wartime, a high level of education is not a guarantee of mental health. In addition, Ukrainian realities are such that neither the level of education nor the stability of employment determine the level of material security. At the same time, we note that continuous involvement in education does have a positive effect on mental health and is an important factor in the psychological resilience and subjective well-being of participants in the educational process

    THE APPLIED NATURE OF THE APPLICATION OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES IN THE ORGANIZATION OF A PEDAGOGICAL EXPERIMENT

    The study analyzes trends and features of ICT application within experimental pedagogy. Specific attention is paid to metaverse as one of the most innovative applied tools in the organization of pedagogical experiments. Metaverse, a virtual shared area that combines augmented reality and virtual reality technology, is frequently referred to as the "Internet of the future" due to its potential to transform online communication, collaboration, learning, and work. However, despite its potential strategic and economic uses, there is a scarcity of empirical data to support its instructional usefulness. This study examined the impact of Metaverse on teaching and learning by examining its advantages and challenges, describing the case of metaverse application in experimental teaching physics and geometry with the help of both standardized and specifically designed metaverses. This study’s intended contribution is to provide real-life implications to educators and policymakers, particularly in the creation of education policies that align with current technology advancements, so contributing in accomplishing the overall objective of improving scientific education results
