    Bu Tez, Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi'nin kamuoyu üretiminde kullandığı siyasal iletişim dili faaliyetlerini ve bu kapsamda siyasal iletişim araçlarını kullanma biçimlerini, siyasal düşüncesi ve politikaları bakımından bir kamuoyu üretim aracı olarak kullanımına dair bir incelemeyi içermektedir. Tez'in amacı, Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi'nin seçmenleriyle ve hedef kitlesi ile iletişim kurmada yürüttüğü siyasal iletişim faaliyetlerinin ve kullandığı siyasal iletişim araçlarının, Parti'nin hem siyasal parti hem de hükümet olarak politikalarına ilişkin kamuoyu üretmedeki rolünü incelemek ve tartışmaktır. Tez'de, içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmış, bu kapsamda, Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi'nin siyasal iletişim faaliyetleri kapsamında kullandığı, logo, slogan, propaganda, siyasal reklam, görsel medya, internet ve sosyal medya gibi iletişim araçları ile afiş, grafik tasarım ve müzik gibi görsel ve işitsel malzemeler, Parti'nin hedef kitleye ulaşmada kullandığı mesajlar ve söylem biçimlerini gösteren veriler olarak analiz edilmiştir. Siyasal İletişim, kamuoyu, propaganda, siyasal reklam gibi temel Siyasal İletişim kavramları ile, Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi, Tez'in kavramsal çerçevesi olarak sunulmuştur. Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi'nin siyasal iletişim faaliyetlerini yürütme sürecinde iletişim araçlarını kullanma biçimleri ile Parti'nin siyasal iletişim faaliyetlerinin kurucu öğelerini oluşturan dinsel inanç, kültürel değerler ve gelenekler, lider karizması gibi etkenlerin, kamuoyu üretimindeki işlevi ve etkileri incelenmiştir. Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi'nin kamuoyu üretiminde kullandığı siyasal iletişim dili ve siyasal iletişim araçlarını kullanma biçimlerinin, kamuoyu üretimindeki rolü ve etkileri tartışılmıştır.This thesis includes an examination of the political communication language activities used by the Justice and Development Party in the production of public opinion, and within this scope, the ways of using political communication tools as a means of public opinion production in terms of its political thought and policies. The aim of the thesis is to examine and discuss the role of the political communication activities carried out by the Justice and Development Party in establishing communication with its voters and target audience, and the political communication tools it uses in the production of public opinion regarding the policies of the Party both as a political party and as a government. In the thesis, the method of content analysis has been used. In this context, the communication tools used within the scope of the political communication activities of the Justice and Development Party, such as logo, slogan, propaganda, political advertisement, visual media, internet and social media, as well as visual and auditory materials such as posters, graphic design and music, have been analyzed as data showing the messages and forms of discourse used by the Party to reach its target audience. Political communication, public opinion, propaganda, political advertisement and the Justice and Development Party are presented as the conceptual framework of the thesis. The ways of using communication tools in the process of conducting the political communication activities of the Justice and Development Party, and the function and effects of elements such as religious belief, cultural values and traditions, and leader charisma, which constitute the founding components of the Party's political communication activities, have been examined in terms of public opinion production. The role and effects of the political communication language and the ways of using political communication tools employed by the Justice and Development Party in the production of public opinion have been discussed

    Objectives: This study critically examines the role of technology in fostering sustainable mathematics education. Key objectives include evaluating the effectiveness of emerging technologies in enhancing learning outcomes, investigating barriers to implementation, and aligning technology use with sustainability principles and educational equity. Theoretical Framework: The research integrates frameworks such as the SAMR model and Community of Inquiry to explore the intersection of digital pedagogy, matUhematics instruction, and sustainability. Emphasis is placed on aligning educational technology with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education. Method: A systematic review of literature from 2010 to 2023 was conducted, utilizing databases such as ERIC, Scopus, and Web of Science. Inclusion criteria encompassed peer-reviewed studies focusing on technology's role in mathematics education and sustainability. Thematic analysis was employed to synthesize findings across diverse contexts and methodologies. Results and Discussion: Findings highlight the transformative potential of technologies like dynamic geometry software, robotics, and adaptive learning platforms in enhancing engagement, conceptual understanding, and critical thinking. Barriers identified include inequitable access, insufficient teacher training, and cultural resistance. The discussion emphasizes technology's role in advancing equity and sustainability while addressing ethical and environmental concerns. Research Implications: Recommendations include developing robust infrastructures, prioritizing professional development, and fostering interdisciplinary research to address implementation challenges. Future studies should explore long-term impacts and the integration of sustainability principles in mathematics curricula. Originality/Value: This study provides a comprehensive synthesis of the interplay between technology, pedagogy, and sustainability in mathematics education.     JazariInteractiveFloor: A modular Java framework for real-time interactive floor applications

    JazariInteractiveFloor presents a modular Java framework built upon Processing library for developing real-time interactive floor applications. The framework implements a component-based architecture consisting of an InputManager for computer vision tasks, BlobDetector for motion tracking, and AnimationManager for interactive visualizations. Using an event-driven design pattern through custom listener interfaces, the framework enables seamless integration between motion detection and animation subsystems. The system's modular architecture allows developers to extend functionality through custom animations while maintaining real-time performance. Our implementation has been rigorously tested in a controlled laboratory environment, demonstrating its practical applicability for various potential applications

    Effects of microencapsulated phase change material on physico-mechanical and thermoregulation performance of lightweight geopolymer concrete with zeolite and perlite

    This study examines impact of microencapsulated phase change material (MPCM) additives on physical and mechanical characteristics of geopolymers produced using natural zeolite and slaked lime. The binder composition consists of 90 % zeolite and 10 % slaked lime, activated with NaOH at a Na/binder ratio of 14 % by weight. Basalt-based sand and perlite were used as aggregates with a water/binder ratio of 0.60. MPCM was added in varying proportions of 8 %, 16 %, and 24 % relative to the binder weight. Samples were molded in dimensions of 50 x 50 x 50 mm and 200 x 200 x 20 mm, then cured at 95 degrees C for 24 h. Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) outcomes presented that geopolymer composite with MPCM has a melting degree of 26.45 degrees C and a melting enthalpy of 17.8 J/g. Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) results confirmed physical integration of MPCM into geopolymer structure. The study also evaluated compressive strength, ultrasound pulse velocity (UPV), dry unit weight, and microstructural properties using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS). Thermoregulation performance experiments demonstrated that the MPCMenhanced samples effectively moderated temperature fluctuations, maintaining lower temperatures for controlled heating and higher temperatures for natural cooling phases compared to the control sample. Thermal regulation capabilities of MPCM-infused geopolymers were evidenced by their property of absorbing and releasing heat, which is critical for energy-efficient building materials. Additionally, the durability and stability of the geopolymer matrix were enhanced by the uniform dispersion of MPCMs, which also improved the composite's mechanical performance. The successful integration of MPCMs highlights their potential in developing sustainable construction materials that contribute to energy savings and environmental conservation

    Division of flow at open channel bifurcations

    This review study explores and discusses key works on flow division at open channel bifurcations, aiming to describe the phenomenon, summarize the state-of-the-art, and serve an easily accessible resource for researchers. The study focuses on channels with rigid-bed and subcritical inflow conditions. It provides a comprehensive examination of the mechanics of flow division, including the resulting flow structures and flow features. The study also evaluates theoretical and empirical models proposed to address the discharge distribution problem at bifurcations, assessing their performance. Furthermore, it proposes refinements to existing equations and graphical methods for estimating flow characteristics and flow rates. Finally, it identifies critical gaps in the literature and suggests directions for future research. © 2025 Author(s)

    Synthesis, characterization and luminescent properties of silver(I) complexes with 5-sulfosalicylic acid and imidazole derivatives

    Three new Ag(I) coordination compounds, namely, (imH)2[Ag2(μ-Hssal)2(H2O)2] (1), {(2mimH)2[Ag2(μ3-Hssal)2(H2O)2]}n (2) and [Ag2(µ4-Hssal)(dmim)2]n (3) with 5-sulfosalicylic acid (H3ssal) and varying imidazole derivatives (imidazole (im), 2-methylimidazole (2mim), 1,2-dimethylimidazole (dmim)) were synthesized and characterized by IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, thermal analysis, and single crystal X-ray diffraction techniques. While imidazole and 2-methylimidazole act as counter ions outside the coordination sphere as cations by undergoing proton transfer in complexes 1 and 2, 1,2-dimethylimidazole serves as a ligand in complex 3. Complex 1 is a binuclear compound while complex 2 is two-dimensional (2D) coordination polymer, and complex 3 is one-dimensional (1D) coordination polymer. The complexes 1–3 exhibite ligand-supported argentophilic Ag⋯Ag interactions. The luminescent properties of the complexes are also discussed. © 202

    Chaos-based optimization for load frequency control in Islanded airport microgrids with hydrogen energy and electric aircraft

    This study explores the integration of renewable energy sources (RES) and hydrogen energy into an airport microgrid (AMG) model to enhance energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. A novel two-degree-of-freedom proportional-integral-derivative (2DOF-PID) controller is designed to regulate energy demands, and its parameters are optimized using the Chaos-based Blood sucking Leech Optimization (CB-BSLO) algorithm. The system is evaluated under five scenarios using four controllers (PI, PID, 2DOF-PI, and 2DOF-PID) and four optimization algorithms (WOA, MGO, ANT, and CB-BSLO). Simulation results demonstrate that the CB-BSLO-optimized 2DOF-PID controller achieves superior performance with significantly reduced error metrics across all scenarios, including low and high RES conditions and parameter uncertainty cases. For instance, under low RES conditions, ITAE and ISE values were minimized to 2.065 and 6.478, respectively, while maintaining system stability. Moreover, surplus renewable energy was efficiently converted into hydrogen via water electrolysis and utilized for energy storage and on-demand power generation, leading to a substantial reduction in carbon emissions. The findings highlight that the CB-BSLO algorithm outperforms other methods by 20–50% in terms of ITAE and ISE metrics, ensuring faster stabilization and improved energy efficiency. This research offers a sustainable and robust solution for integrating renewable energy and hydrogen storage into critical microgrid systems, particularly in the aviation sector, while addressing global challenges such as energy security and climate change. © 2025 Hydrogen Energy Publications LL

    Platelet-rich plasma as an adjuvant therapy to crystallized phenol in the treatment of pediatric pilonidal sinus disease: A Prospective randomized controlled trial

    Objective: This study aims to evaluate the safety and efficacy of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) as an adjuvant to crystallized phenol (CP) in treating pediatric pilonidal sinus disease (PSD). Methods: A single-center randomized controlled trial was conducted at Istanbul Esenyurt Hospital. Eighty-seven patients aged 0-18 were randomly assigned to two groups: the CP group (n = 42) and the CP + PRP group (n = 45). Upon arrival at the clinic, patients began a regimen of manual shaving and, if necessary, laser epilation every 6-8 weeks. For those with pilonidal abscesses, incision, drainage, and antibiotics were given. The treatment area was sterilized and numbed with local anesthesia. Hair removal and curettage were performed, followed by the application of crystallized phenol. In CP + PRP group, PRP injections were also administered. The procedure concluded with wound dressing and thorough disinfection. The study was registered https://clinicaltrials.gov/ (NCT06324656). Results: The CP + PRP group demonstrated significantly shorter healing times (19.4 +/- 7.88 days) compared to the CP group (30.7 +/- 12.9 days) (p 0.05 for each comparison). No difference was found between groups in terms of total complication rate (p = 0.398). The success rate was higher in CP + PRP group (98%; n = 44) compared to CP group (86%; n = 36) (p = 0.039). Recurrence rates were lower in CP + PRP group (2%; n = 1) than CP group (14%; n = 6) (p = 0.039). Conclusion: The autologous PRP injection in pediatric PSD is safe. The addition of PRP to CP treatment for pediatric PSD significantly improves healing time, cosmetic outcomes, and overall success rates without increasing complication rates.     Mediterranean-DASH Diet Intervention for Neurodegenerative Delay Diet and Psychological Problems in Maintenance Hemodialysis Patients by the Structural Equation Modeling Analysis of Malnutrition and Inflammation Markers Approach

    Objective: Although it is known that diet quality affects psychological problems in hemodialysis (HD) patients, there is need to explain the role of modifiable risk factors in this relationship. Therefore, the aim of this study was (1) to investigate the relationship between diet quality and modifiable risk factors to depression and anxiety in end-stage renal disease patients receiving maintenance HD; (2) to explore the mediating roles of modifiable factors in the relationship with diet quality to depression and anxiety. Methods: This cross-sectional study included 216 patients with end-stage renal disease receiving maintenance HD treatment. We assessed participants' dietary records for Mediterranean-DASH Diet Intervention for Neurodegenerative Delay (MIND) quality, Global Leadership Initiative on Malnutrition criteria for malnutrition and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale for psychological problems. Furthermore, biochemical findings and anthropometric measurements were performed to evaluate nutritional markers, metabolic risk factors and inflammation. We applied hierarchical regression analysis to estimate modifiable risk factors for depression and anxiety and structural-equation-modeling analysis to determine the mediating role of modifiable risk factors between diet quality and psychological problems. Results: Depression symptoms were observed in 59.2% (n = 128) of the participants, whilst the rate was 35.1% (n = 76) for anxiety. Depression and anxiety were found to be negatively correlated with MIND levels after covariate adjusting model, and the rates of explanation were found to be 16.2% and 12.2%, respectively. C-reactive protein (CRP), albumin levels and the presence of malnutrition were shown to be significant predictors of depression (ΔF = 14.761 and ΔR2: 0.071 for covariate-adjusted model). Albumin levels, CRP, HD duration, and malnutrition were found to be independent predictors of anxiety (ΔF = 16.174 and ΔR2: 0.077 for covariate-adjusted model). It was found that CRP and malnutrition partially mediated the association of MIND score with depression, and CRP mediated the association with anxiety. Conclusion: It was concluded that adherence to the MIND diet is associated with a better nutritional profile and reduced inflammation, which in turn may be linked to fewer psychological problems.These further studies are needed to validate and expand upon our findings. © 2024 National Kidney Foundation, Inc

    The plastic language of mannerist painting with Feldman's art criticism approach and mannerist traces in hayati Misman's engravings

    Bu çalışma, Feldman'ın sanat eleştirisi yaklaşımıyla Maniyerist resmin kendine özgü plastik dilinin ve Hayati Misman'ın gravürlerinin Maniyerist resim ile olan benzer yönlerinin belirlenmesi amacını taşımaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, Rönesans sonrası ortaya çıkan Maniyerist döneme ilişkin resimlerdeki biçim bozma, renk, perspektif, kompozisyon anlayışı ve bu anlayışın Hayati Misman'ın gravürlerindeki yansıma biçimleri ve/veya izleri, Feldman'ın sanat eleştirisi yaklaşımıyla ele alınmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Maniyerist dönem sanatçıları olarak bilinen; Doménikos Theotokópoulos (El Greco)'nun 3 eseri, Jacopo Robusti (Tintoretto)'nin 1 eseri, Girolamo Francesco Maria Mazzola (Parmigianino)'nın 1 eseri, Jacopo Carucci (Pontormo)'nin 1 eseri, Giuseppe Arcimboldo'nun 1 eseri, Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni'nin 1 eseri, Tiziano Vecellio (Titian)'nun 1 eseri olmak üzere toplam 9 eser ile günümüz gravür sanatçılarından olan Hayati Misman'ın 10 eseri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak doküman incelemesi ve görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; Maniyerist dönem resimlerinde sanatçıların bilinçli bir şekilde biçim bozma-deformasyon yaptığı görülmüştür. Bununla birlikte Maniyerist sanatçılar, soluklaşan renk tonları, karmaşık ve açık kompozisyon kullanımı ile Maniyerist resmin tipik özelliklerini eserlerinde yansıtmışlardır. Diğer yandan gravür sanatçısı Hayati Misman eserlerinde, taklit etme veya birebir resmetme anlayışından uzaklaşarak Maniyerist resimlerde olduğu gibi figürlerin uzuvlarını farklılaştırmış ve deformasyona uğratmıştır. Ayrıca bu figürleri mekândan bağımsız, iç içe geçmiş bir şekilde uçuyormuş gibi resmetmiş, derinlik algısı olmayan ve birden fazla olay örgüsü yansıtmıştır. Misman, dışavurumcu bir yaklaşım benimsediğini, kendine özgü bir üslup oluşturduğunu ve Maniyerist dönemden esinlenerek eser üretmediğini fakat bazı gravürlerinin Maniyerist eserlerle benzerlikler taşıdığını ifade etmiştir. ?This study aims to determine the unique plastic language of Mannerist painting with Feldman's approach to art criticism and the similarities of Hayati Misman's engravings with Mannerist painting. In line with this purpose, the understanding of distortion, colour, perspective and composition in the paintings of the Mannerist period, which emerged after the Renaissance, and the reflections and/or traces of this understanding in Hayati Misman's engravings are discussed with Feldman's art criticism approach. The study group of the research consists of the artists of the Mannerist period; 3 works by Doménikos Theotokópoulos (El Greco), 1 work by Jacopo Robusti (Tintoretto), 1 work by Girolamo Francesco Maria Mazzola (Parmigianino), 1 work by Jacopo Carucci (Pontormo), 1 work by Giuseppe Arcimboldo, a total of 9 works, including 1 work by Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni, 1 work by Tiziano Vecellio (Titian) and 10 works by Hayati Misman, one of today's engraving artists. Qualitative research method was used in the research. Document analysis and interview technique were used as data collection tools. Descriptive analysis method was used to analyse the data obtained. According to the results of the research; it was seen that the artists consciously made deformation-deformation in the Mannerist period paintings. However, Mannerist artists reflected the typical features of Mannerist painting in their works with faded colour tones, complex and open composition. On the other hand, the engraving artist Hayati Misman, in his works, moved away from the understanding of imitation or one-to-one painting and differentiated and deformed the limbs of the figures as in Mannerist paintings. In addition, he painted these figures as if they were flying in an intertwined manner, independent of space, and reflected more than one plot with no perception of depth. Misman stated that he adopted an expressionist approach, created a unique style and did not produce works inspired by the Mannerist period, but some of his engravings bear similarities with Mannerist works
