Madrasah as a formal educational institution should receive attention from the government, both the Central Government and local governments, but the problem is that madrasah are institutions under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion, while in the context of autonomy there is a matter that becomes the authority of the central government, namely religious aspects .     Guidance and counseling (BK) is a process of providing targeted assistance to a person / group of people continuously and systematically by the tutor so that the individual becomes an independent person and knows his environment. There is an imbalance in the number of ratios between BK teachers and students who are mentored and there are still many BK teachers who do not meet the educational qualifications in accordance with their fields, which need to be addressed immediately. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research approach, with the type of case study. Data collection methods by interview, observation and documentation. While this research data analysis uses data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the counseling guidance process at MA Raudlatut Thalabah took the form of personal guidance, social guidance, study guidance and career guidance. In addition counseling services in the form of orientation services, information services, distribution and placement services, content mastery services, individual counseling services, group guidance services, group counseling services, consulting services and mediation services. The guidance and service activities are supported by activities in the form of instrumentation applications, data sets, case conferences, case handover, home visits and literature display

    If management is a process, then the organization is a framework, structure or container of people to cooperate. Thus, management is a step in achieving this goal through the potential of others were accommodated in an organization. Therefore, it is clear that the relationship between the management and organization are like two sides of a coin. In the view of Islam there are four  principles for developing management, namely: 1) the truth, 2) honesty, 3) openness, and 4) expertise. Islamic educational institutions began to develop in Indonesia since before  independence of Indonesia in the early 20th century AD with the establishment of formal-Islamic madrasas. It was madrasah is already running in a long time and has a long history, but the perceived Islamic education is still excluded from the National Education System up to 3 Ministers decree issued in 1975 that most people will appreciate that Islamic education received state recognition. Therefore, the management of educational institutions of Islamic-based management is a thing that is not negotiable. In fact, the principles of education in normative Islam did not collide with the concept of management.&nbsp

    The problem of illiteracy is still a concern of the Government of the city of Surakarta majority experienced by communities with medium economies down. Surakarta has the Functional Literacy Programme for the illiterate. This is already underway so that necessary related Evaluation of the program. This study is a qualitative study aiming to find out the success of the functional Literacy Program in the group "Ngudi Kawruh" Neighborhood Pasar Kliwon in Surakarta. This research uses qualitative evaluation methods with the techniques of data collection through interviews and literature study. In the interview, obtained from the Program Manager, lecturer or Tutor and Citizens learn KF "NGUDI KAWRUH" as informants while on a study of the literature retrieved from primary data and secondary data from the parties concerned. The results showed 1) driving and fator barrier of Functional Literacy Programmes in the Pasar Kliwon, 2) the impact of the Improvement and the increased capacity of self. The impact of empowerment of the script has been done is very perceptible to the residents especially the participants in the program, this is because what is taught in the program of empowerment this script can be directly applied in daily life by the participants

    This study reviews the scientific approach of Pendidikan Agama Islam and Budi Pekerti Kurikulum 2013, based on scientific paradigm of positivistic, proposed by Auguste Comte. The results of this study reveal that the scientific approach in the curriculum 2013 is done through some steps: to observe, to question, to reason, to associate and to communicate. This scientific approach is relevant to the positivistic paradigm. The theory stems from the emergence of legal positivism of Law of Three Stages by Auguste Comte. It states that historical development of human thought has evolved in three stages, namely theological or fictitious, metaphysical or abstract, and positive or scientific or real. Thus, according to this approach, if scientific approach is applied in Pendidikan Agama Islam and Budi Pekerti Kurikulum 2013 in the aspect of Aqidah, it becomes less relevant. However, the aspect of Jurisprudence, Morality, Al-Quran Hadith, and Islamic Cultural History, the scientific approach is very appropriate to be applied into the learning process

    This study aims to determine the effect of the principal leadership and the teacher’s Attitude toward job satisfaction in MA Palapa Nusantara NW Selebung. Leadership is the ability of a school principal in influence and mobilize subordinates in an organization or school institutions in order to achieve school goals. Attitude of teachers to work is a teacher’s tendency to respond his pleasure or displeasure to his job. Teacher’s job satisfaction is a delightful emotional state that is owned by teacher. The data obtained from the School is analyzed using SPSS in phases: Preparation, Test and SPSS Analysis. Through the research can be concluded that there is a relationship between the principal leadership and teacher’s performance with job satisfaction

    Pesantren is an islamic educational- institution that has the advantage of both aspects of scientific tradition and its transmission, as well as intensity of Muslims. Rise of globalization has threatened the existence of pesantren, so it causes the idea of ​​modernization in pesantren to address challenges of social transformation needs. To shape the direction of change in developing educational institutions, pesantren held their skills and enter the public schools into their environment. According to Gus Dur, pesantren should give an appreciation of all developments taking place in the present and future. However, in order to keep its traditions, pesantren should take on something new that is considered to be better and do not leave a long tradition. Entering the general sciences in pesantren’s environment has caused problems both among themselves and the public. The question is how exactly, epistemologically, explains the empirical sciences or secular sciences systematically into the pesantren’s tradition. According to Gus Dur, the idea to orient the contemporary pesantren may need to be reviewed because the idea will negatively affects the existence of the basic tasks of pesantren. In addition to strengthening the scientific tradition, pesantren should always open himself, accommodate the present problems, as well as providing enlightenment to the audience by giving the best solutions in resolving the problems of life. According to Gus Dur, boarding schools have relevance to the employment needs, for the world of work, both in services and trade with various needs expertise. Boarding schools must provide input for the education community about what skills are actually required by employment in the era of globalization such a rapid and diverse as it is today
