    Communication strategy combines communication planning and management to achieve communication goals. This study focuses on the barriers and intercultural communication strategies between international and local students at UIN K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan, providing insight into interaction dynamics within an Islamic educational environment in Indonesia, which remains underexplored. This research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The subjects include nine international students from Thailand, the Philippines, and Malaysia, along with local students who actively interact with them. Primary data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation, while secondary data came from official documents and personal archives. Data collection involved observing interactions, interviewing subjects regarding communication barriers and strategies, and supporting documentation. Data analysis utilized an interactive method, including data reduction, presentation, and continuous conclusion-drawing. Findings indicate that international students face communication barriers in Indonesia but adapt to the campus environment by engaging in both passive and active accommodations with local students. There is convergence accommodation as a strategy in which individuals adapt to each other's communicative behaviour, emphasizing language integration, active participation, and respect for social norms. Additionally, divergence accommodation is used to highlight individual differences, both verbally and nonverbally. Here, international students consistently value differences, exhibit flexibility, and learn from experience.Communication strategy combines communication planning and management to achieve communication goals.     Determinants of Intention to Purchase Ecologically Friendly Products According to the Theory Planned of Behavior (Study on Students of University of Darussalam Gontor)

    The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control with seven intrinsic factors that support the three variables, namely attractiveness, belief, parental support, peer support, family cultural background, self-desire, and self-confidence on students' intention in purchasing ecologically friendly products. The research method used is a quantitative method with data collection techniques using a questionnaire that contains a 5-point Likert scale. The research sample consists of 74 students from Universitas Darussalam Gontor Mantingan Campus 2. The data processing technique in this study was carried out using E-Views 12 software and analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. The results of this study indicate that based on the analysis of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) regarding students' intention in purchasing ecologically friendly products, there is a significant simultaneous effect. Partially, the six intrinsic factors, namely attractiveness, belief, parental support, peer support, family cultural background, and self-desire does not significantly influence the intention in purchasing ecologically friendly products. On the other hand, only self-confidence as an intrinsic factor of perceived behavioral control significantly influences the intention in purchasing ecologically friendly products

    Handling criminal acts involving children in motorcycle gangs is a crucial step regulated by national criminal law and Islamic law with an emphasis on child protection and moral development and the future of these children. The purpose of this study is to evaluate existing legal regulations, identify challenges in their implementation, and analyze efforts made to prevent criminal acts by children in motorcycle gangs in Bangun Sari Village, Tanjung Morawa District. The method used in this study is juridical-empirical with a case study approach, which includes interviews with the police and field data analysis. The research findings show that the preventive approach is carried out through active involvement of families, schools, and communities; the repressive approach is applied as a last resort with the principle of ultimum remedium; while the rehabilitative approach focuses on development and restorative justice. The challenges faced include technical limitations such as facilities and human resources, legal obstacles in aligning regulations, and the social impact of the environment and media. This study concludes that collaboration between preventive, repressive, and rehabilitative approaches is essential to create a supportive atmosphere in preventing deviant behavior in children. The police are implementing preventive measures consisting of preventive efforts, namely actions taken before a crime occurs, as well as enforcement measures, namely actions taken after a crime occurs

    Earthquakes are one of the natural disasters that often occur, and procedures for understanding self-safety in early childhood at RA Al Wildan Gondanglegi require real elaboration. One of the innovations in learning with the theme of natural disasters on the topic of earthquakes is an animated video on earthquake self-safety. The research method is research and development with the ADDIE approach. The ADDIE approach includes five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. After the data is collected, the data analysis is carried out with the stages of data analysis, development, and product quality. Other data analysis is the analysis of student responses. The research was tested on a small scale, namely on 6 students as a pilot project, and the next experiment on 15 children. Based on the results of research conducted on animated video media on the results of children's observation responses with a score of 0.93. The teacher's response was 3.56, with categorized a feasible. So it can be concluded that the development product of earthquake self-safety animated video media is feasible for use in the learning process

    Optimalisasi Pengelolaan Keuangan Petani Melalui Pelatihan Literasi Keuangan di Kabupaten Sumbawa

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan literasi keuangan petani di Kabupaten Sumbawa dan mengoptimalkan pengelolaan keuangan mereka. Petani menghadapi masalah utama dengan literasi keuangan, yang berdampak pada pengelolaan pendapatan yang kurang efektif dan ketergantungan tinggi pada utang. Kursus dasar manajemen keuangan, perencanaan anggaran, pengelolaan utang, dan investasi sederhana akan dibahas dalam program pelatihan. Desain pre-test dan post-test digunakan dalam penelitian untuk mengukur efektivitas pelatihan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa petani tahu lebih banyak tentang keuangan. Sebanyak 85% peserta melaporkan telah meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang perencanaan keuangan dan pengelolaan kas. Mereka juga mengatakan bahwa mereka telah mulai membuat anggaran tertulis dan mencatat pendapatan dan pengeluaran mereka. Pelatihan ini juga membantu petani: 65% peserta mengatakan mereka lebih mampu mengelola pendapatan mereka dan mengurangi ketergantungan mereka pada utang. Studi ini menemukan bahwa petani lebih mampu mengelola keuangan mereka lebih baik dengan pelatihan literasi keuangan; namun, diperlukan pendampingan tambahan untuk memastikan strategi keuangan yang dipelajari diterapkan dengan benar. Dengan peningkatan pengetahuan keuangan, kesejahteraan petani diharapkan dapat terus meningkat secara berkelanjuta

    The Technological advancement is increasingly complex and rapidly influencing society, especially among youth and children. Managing the current level of technological and informational growth appears nearly impossible. This development pertains to contemporary children, commonly referred to as the alpha generation, which includes those born between 2013 and 2025. The majority of alpha generation members are offspring of Millennials and grandchildren of baby boomers. This study focuses on analyzing: 1) parenting styles, 2) parental regulation of alpha generation children regarding technology use in the digital age, and 3) the effects of digital technology usage on the social development of alpha generation children. The analysis integrates conceptual frameworks with real-world social contexts. To thoroughly and comprehensively explore the aforementioned issues, the researcher employed field research methods alongside a descriptive analysis approach, which effectively provides factual information and data concerning parenting styles. The collected data was then analyzed to address the identified problems. The research findings indicated that the predominant parenting style observed is democratic parenting. Parents maintain daily supervision over their children, particularly when they are engaging with cellphones or gadgets. Parents and educators leverage digital technology to create more enjoyable learning experiences for children. The study concluded that parental roles in monitoring technology use involve establishing strict and disciplined boundaries. Additionally, parental support for the alpha generation’s learning process via technology allows for the selection of educationally valuable learning concepts

    This research aims to find out the implementation of the Islamic Left movement in Pesantren education in Indonesia, in order to develop scientific knowledge and to restore the treasures of Islam. This research uses a leatherative method of literature review or literature review with narrative analysis obtained from various sources of books or research journals that are in accordance with the research domain. Pesantren as an example of Islamic education in Indonesia. Pesantren education has a long history, has a culture that prioritizes Islamic values, the education methods applied, and as a medium for da'wah. Pesantren in this modern era is not only focused on cultural education, but also penetrates into science, technology, and economic education. The progress of Pesantren today is in accordance with the vision of leftist Islam Hasan Hanafi who prioritizes scientific renewal which is not only focused on traditional science studies but also examines the science that exists in Indonesia and continues to run formal education provided by the government or the Pesantren itself. Currently, Muslims are experiencing a setback in science and technology where Muslims only enjoy technological products made by Western society. This certainly provides a challenge to Pesantren in this modern era while still prioritizing eastern culture. The need for the implementation of the Islamic Left in education in Pesantren with the presence of education related to IT or science that harmonizes with the Qur'an to develop the curriculum, so that it can enrich the Islamic treasures.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi gerakan Kiri Islam dalam pendidikan Pesantren yang ada di Indonesia, guna mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan sains serta untuk mengembalikan khazanah Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan kajian pustaka atau kajian literarur dengan analisis naratif  yang didapatkan dari berbagai sumber buku ataupun jurnal penelitian yang sesuai dengan ranah penelitian. Pesantren sebagai contoh pendidikan Islam yang ada di Indonesia.. Pendidikan Pesantren mempunyai sejarah yang panjang, mempunyai kultur yang mengedepankan nilai keislaman, metode Pendidikan yang diterapkan, serta sebagai media dakwah. Pesantren di era modern ini tidak hanya terfokus pada pendidikan yang kultural saja, tapi merambah ke pendidikan sains, teknologi, serta ekonomi. Kemajuan Pesantren saat ini sesuai dengan visi kiri islam Hasan Hanafi yang mengedepankan pembaruan ilmu pengetahuan yang tidak hanya terfokus pada kajian ilmu tradisonal saja tetapi Pesantren juga mengkaji keilmuman yang eksis di Indonesia dan tetap menjalankan pendidikan formal yang disediakan oleh pemerintah ataupun pihak Persantren sendiri. Umat Islam saat ini mengalami kemunduran dalam ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, umat Islam hanya menikmati produk teknologi yang dibuat oleh masyarakat barat. Hal tersebut tentu memberikan tantangan terhadap Pesantren di era modern ini dengan tetap mengedepankan kultur ketimuran. Perlunya adanya implementasi kiri islam pada pendidikan Pesantren dengan diadanya pendidikan berkaitan dengan IT ataupun sains yang menyelaraskan dengan al-qur’an mengembangkan kurikulum, sehingga dapat memperkaya khazanah keislaman

    Implementation of Fundraising Management at BAZNAS Hulu Sungai Tengah in Increasing ZIS Collection

    Indonesia has significant zakat potential, yet actual collection remains far below expectations. In Hulu Sungai Tengah (HST) Regency, for example, zakat potential is estimated at IDR 3.1 trillion, while BAZNAS HST collected only IDR 3.09 billion in 2024. This study aims to analyze the implementation of fundraising management at BAZNAS HST using the POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) framework, identify the fundraising strategies applied, and evaluate their impact on zakat, infaq, and sadaqah (ZIS) collection. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews with BAZNAS HST officials, direct observations, and financial report documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The findings show that BAZNAS HST applied structured planning (RKAT), organizing through decreed teams, innovative programs such as Blessed Friday and Baznas Corner, and routine evaluations, which together increased ZIS collection from IDR 790.98 million in 2022 to IDR 3.09 billion in 2024, with muzakki rising from 134 to 207. Nevertheless, this improvement was also influenced by external factors, including post-pandemic religious awareness, digital zakat trends, inflation, and government support. The study contributes theoretically by affirming both the relevance and limitations of POAC in zakat management, and practically by offering a replicable fundraising model adaptable to local contexts

    Pengaruh Media Interaktif terhadap Peningkatan Keterampilan Membaca Puisi Siswa Kelas X

    This study aims to determine the effect of the use of interactive media on improving poetry reading skills of class X students. This study is based on the low ability of students to understand the meaning of poetry in depth which is characterized by weak mastery of diction, intonation, and appreciation. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design type Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Groups Design. The research sample consisted of two classes, each consisting of 27 students, namely the experimental group using interactive media in the form of poetry musicalization learning videos, and the control group using conventional methods. The research instrument was a multiple-choice test accessed through Google Form. The results of data analysis showed that the average posttest score of students in the experimental group (78.5) was significantly higher than that of the control group (68.4), with a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) = 0.000 <0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of interactive media has a significant effect on improving students' poetry reading skills

    Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Matematis Siswa: Sebuah Tinjauan Literatur Sistematis dan Analisis Bibliometrik

    This study aims to systematically analyze the impact of the Discovery Learning model on students' mathematical creative thinking skills through a systematic literature review approach and bibliometric analysis. This study follows seven stages of the Systematic Literature Review (SLR), namely identifying research needs, formulating research questions, searching for literature with relevant keywords, selecting articles with inclusion and exclusion criteria, extracting primary data, thematic and bibliometric analysis, and reporting findings. Several articles from various national and international accredited journals published between 2017–2024 were analyzed using VOSviewer software for visual mapping. The results of the study indicate that the Discovery Learning model contributes positively to the development of mathematical creative thinking skills, especially in the aspects of fluency, flexibility, uniqueness, and elaboration. Bibliometric analysis also shows an increasing trend of research on this topic in the last decade. This study recommends further exploration of the use of technology in discovery learning and longitudinal studies across educational levels.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara sistematis dampak model Discovery Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa melalui pendekatan kajian literatur sistematis dan analisis bibliometrik. Kajian ini mengikuti tujuh tahapan Systematic Literature Review (SLR), yaitu identifikasi kebutuhan penelitian, perumusan pertanyaan penelitian, proses pencarian literatur dengan kata kunci relevan, seleksi artikel dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi, ekstraksi data utama, analisis tematik dan bibliometrik, serta pelaporan temuan. Beberapa artikel dari berbagai jurnal terakreditasi nasional dan internasional yang terbit antara tahun 2017–2024 dianalisis menggunakan software VOSviewer untuk pemetaan visual. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa model Discovery Learning berkontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis, khususnya dalam aspek kelancaran, fleksibilitas, keunikan, dan elaborasi. Analisis bibliometrik juga menunjukkan tren peningkatan riset pada topik ini dalam satu dekade terakhir. Studi ini merekomendasikan eksplorasi lebih lanjut pada pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran penemuan dan studi longitudinal lintas jenjang pendidikan
