    Persepsi Dosen dan Mahasiswa terhadap Penggunaan Teknologi dalam Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar di Universitas Al-Qolam Malang

    ABSTRACT  The focus of this research is what are the perceptions of lecturers and students regarding the use of technology in teaching and learning activities at Al-Qolam University Malang. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data source in this research is the results of answers from a questionnaire distributed by researchers to representatives of 10 students and 10 lecturers from 10 study programs at Al-Qolam University Malang. Data collection used in this research was: Observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research consists of three paths, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are that the majority of lecturers and students use technology in teaching and learning activities. They answered that the use of technology in learning is very effective and interesting, but apart from that, there are obstacles in using it such as facilities, not having internet access, not having a cellphone or laptop, not understanding the use of technology, etc. And one of the problems is that students become lazy about reading and studying, they prefer playing games and social media rather than reading and looking for material.

    This activity is motivated by the needs of several Early Childhood Education Institutions in South Malang which require several learning innovations, preparing prospective educators who are competent and innovative in facing the challenges of early childhood education. One of the important skills that PIAUD students must have is ability to tell stories effectively. Storytelling requires not only good technique but also a deep understanding of the content that is appropriate to children's developmental needs and Islamic educational values. Therefore, a Service Program was carried out in the form of Storytelling Practice for PIAUD teaching students. This is a development of PIAUD teaching activities which involve students who are members of the Education Department Student Association. The results of this training activity with the Dongeng Kepompong studio turned out to be able to make a significant contribution to improving the quality of early childhood education. This can be shown that students practicing the PIAUD study program can apply training activities through storytelling to young children in the southern Malang area, namely at the Gentong Mas touristm, Wajak. This storytelling activity, which was attended by young children from kindergarten and RA from Malang district, gave a positive response to the storytelling activity carried out by practical students from Al-Qolam University, Malang.     Muslim society is faced with various problems, one of which is global challenges. Religious education is the main milestone for Muslims in understanding Islam as a whole, so here the role of religious education teachers is very important. After the Covid-19 pandemic, a new culture of multicultural society was created with the presence of technology as the main solution to the problem of Islamic education. So in this research we formulate the global challenges faced by multicultural society and how multicultural exploration through Islamic Religious Education Teachers can be done in facing global challenges. The results of this research illustrate that technology plays an active role in shaping the culture of a multicultural society and this is practiced directly by Islamic Religious Educators. They use various social media such as YouTube, Google Met and so on as a means of learning without reducing the substance of Islamic Religious Education material.Muslim society is faced with various problems, one of which is global challenges.     PENGELOLAAN PONDOK PESANTREN MODERN: (Studi Kasus di Pondok Pesantren Sultan Hasanudin Makassar)

    The management of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) has undergone significant transformations to adapt to the demands of modern education while preserving their traditional values. This study examines the management practices of Sultan Hasanuddin Modern Islamic Boarding School in Gowa, Indonesia, which integrates Islamic teachings with contemporary education. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the research explores the institution's operations, curriculum, and human resource management through interviews, direct observation, and document analysis. Findings reveal that the pesantren employs a comprehensive student admission process, emphasizing religious understanding through academic tests, Qur'an recitation assessments, and interviews. The dual-track curriculum combines the national curriculum (K13 and Merdeka) with tahfidz programs, fostering both academic and religious excellence. Modern educational technologies, such as computers and iPads, enhance the learning experience, while state-of-the-art facilities provide a conducive environment for students The pesantren’s achievements in academic, religious, and extracurricular fields underscore the success of its holistic management approach. This study highlights the potential of pesantren as exemplary models of integrated education, balancing traditional and modern pedagogical practices.Penelitian bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pengelolaan pondok pesantren modern di pondok pesantren sutan hasanuddin , sebuah pesantren yang berada di Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif,data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara langsung dengan pengelola pondok pesantren. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan di Pondok Pesantren Modern Sultan Hasanuddin Gowa, dapat disimpulkan bahwa, Pondok Pesantren Sultan Hasanuddin Gowa berhasil menggabungkan konsep pendidikan modern dengan tradisi pesantren. Pendidikan di pesantren ini menggunakan kurikulum nasional yang digabungkan dengan pendidikan agama, sehingga santri mendapatkan pendidikan yang seimbang antara ilmu umum dan ilmu agama

    The Influence of Sharia Commitment on Business Sustainability Among Interest-Free Communities in the Soloraya Region

    This study aims to examine the influence of commitment to Sharia commands and prohibitions on financial growth and business sustainability among interest-free communities. The research focuses on the impact of commitment to Sharia commands and prohibitions on financial growth, strategic sustainability, and the sustainability of business organizational structures. A quantitative method with a survey design was used, involving a sample of 64 respondents in the Soloraya region. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of SmartPLS software. The results show that commitment to Sharia commands has a positive and significant effect on financial growth, strategic sustainability, and organizational structure. Commitment to Sharia prohibitions also has a positive and significant effect on financial growth and structural sustainability, but not on strategic sustainability. Simultaneously, both types of Sharia commitment have a significant effect on overall business sustainability from financial, strategic, and structural aspects. These findings highlight the importance of comprehensive implementation of Sharia principles in maintaining sustainable business practices. This research provides a foundation for the development of Sharia business management and supportive policies for interest-free UMKM

    KAJIAN LIVING LAW TERHADAP MAHAR BHOKA DALAM PERNIKAHAN BEDA STRATA SOSIAL SUKU BUTON : Prespektif Hukum Islam

    This study examines the tradition of determining the bhoka dowry in inter-social strata marriages within the Buton Tribe in Baubau City. In Buton’s customary law, society is divided into three social classes: Kaomu (nobility), Walaka (middle class), and Papara (commoners), each with different dowry values regulated by the Sultanate. Traditionally, marriages between Kaomu women and Papara men are prohibited and subject to customary fines. Using a descriptive qualitative method with an Islamic legal sociology approach—applying the theories of Living Law, Symbolic Interactionism, and ‘Urf—this research involved interviews with traditional, religious, and community leaders, as well as inter-class married couples, through snowball sampling, alongside observation and documentation. The findings reveal three main stages in determining the dowry: lukuti, pesoloi, and losa, which include a lineage tracing process (tiliki) by a spokesperson (tolowea) to decide dowry amounts and customary sanctions for inter-class unions. Community leaders’ perspectives on inter-social marriages are divided, though most view the traditional prohibitions as no longer relevant amid modern social dynamics. Furthermore, the dowry custom in inter-social marriages still functions as a living law within the Buton community, as it meets the core principles of the Living Law theory

    Penelitian ini mengkaji relasi manusia dan alam dalam perspektif ekologi budaya melalui analisis terhadap enam karya sastra Indonesia, baik dalam bentuk cerpen, novel, maupun puisi. Pendekatan ekologi budaya yang dikembangkan oleh Julian H. Steward menjadi kerangka teoretis untuk menelaah bagaimana budaya, sistem kepercayaan, teknologi, dan kekuasaan membentuk hubungan manusia dengan lingkungannya. Setiap karya menunjukkan wajah relasi yang berbeda: dari harmoni spiritual masyarakat tradisional, eksploitasi kapitalistik oleh kekuasaan, hingga praktik kultural yang menjaga kelestarian alam. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode SLR (Systematic Literature Review). Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa karya sastra dapat menjadi medium reflektif dan kritis terhadap transformasi relasi ekologis manusia, serta berperan penting dalam membangun kesadaran ekologi berbasis budaya lokal

    Studi Literatur: Peran Guru dalam Mengintegrasikan Literasi Membaca pada Pembelajaran Tematik di Sekolah Dasar

    The low level of reading literacy among elementary school students in Indonesia remains a fundamental challenge in education, particularly with the implementation of the thematic curriculum that requires the integration of various basic competencies. This study aims to identify the strategic role of teachers, effective implementation strategies, and the challenges encountered in integrating literacy into thematic learning. A qualitative literature review method was employed by analyzing ten relevant national journal articles. The findings indicate that teachers play a pivotal role as facilitators, innovators, and designers of learning experiences. Effective integration strategies include the use of the webbed-type integrated learning model, utilization of creative media, and the implementation of literacy-based projects. However, several challenges were identified, such as limited instructional time, lack of methodological variation, and difficulties in aligning literacy content with thematic materials. It is concluded that the success of literacy integration in thematic learning heavily depends on the active and creative role of teachers, which must be supported by a collaborative and sustainable educational ecosystem

    Teaching Strategies for Enhancing Vocabulary Mastery of Indonesian EFL Learners

    Vocabulary mastery is essential for effective communication in language learning, yet students often struggle with understanding and retaining new words. This study aimed to explore the strategies used by an English teacher to enhance vocabulary mastery in the Bilingual Class at MTsN 1 Gondanglegi Malang. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, involving one English teacher and seventh-grade students as participants. Data were collected through classroom observations and Focus Group Interviews (FGI), with an iterative technique applied to ensure data richness. The analysis included familiarizing and organizing, coding and reducing, and interpreting and representing the data. Credibility and confirmability were maintained through triangulation of observation, FGI, and audit trails such as video and record documentation. The findings revealed four main teaching strategies: text-based teaching, dictionary use, memorization, and blended-skills instruction. The study also identified key challenges, including students’ limited understanding of vocabulary and their tendency to forget new words. Based on these findings, it is recommended that teachers integrate more interactive and innovative strategies to enhance vocabulary retention and engagement. The study provides practical implications for EFL teachers and contributes to the literature on effective vocabulary teaching strategies

    This research aims: 1. find out how high the level of student activity is in running an organization, 2. find out how high the level of critical thinking skills of students who are actively involved in organizations, 3. analyze whether there is a significant relationship between organizational activity and critical thinking skills, 4. analyze whether organizational activity can help students develop critical thinking skills. This research method uses aquantutatuve descriptiva correlation approach with the subject of Santa Dharma University’s Guidance and Counseling Study Program students who actively participate in organization totaling 70 students. The data collection technique use a questionnaire using Google Form. The analysis technique uses is validity, reliability, linearity, normality and linear regression hyphotesis tests.
