Get PDFThe arts can generate transformations that contribute to improving people\u27s lives. Approaching cultural phenomena in the field of language and literature from this perspective can favour quality human relations, which have a significant influence on the development of long, happy and healthy life paths. This article analyses how the phenomenon of improvised versolarism in the Basque language (bertsolaritza) has become a social movement which works to create spaces for socialisation in which networks of friendship are woven between the participants. Using a research methodology which enables the egalitarian co-creation of knowledge, 32 people of the field of versolarism were interviewed. The results of the study coincide with previously published research, as they suggest that the space of culture can promote the construction of egalitarian relationships and that this makes possible deep transformations that improve people\u27s lives.Las artes pueden generar transformaciones que contribuyen a mejorar la vida de las personas. Abordar fenómenos culturales del ámbito de la lengua y la literatura desde esta perspectiva puede favorecer las relaciones humanas de calidad, lo cual influye notablemente en el desarrollo de trayectorias de vida longevas, felices y saludables. Este artículo analiza cómo el fenómeno del versolarismo improvisado en euskera (bertsolaritza) se ha convertido en un movimiento social que trabaja para crear espacios de socialización en los que se tejen redes de amistad entre las personas participantes. Desde una metodología de investigación que posibilita la co-creación igualitaria de conocimiento, 32 personas del ámbito del versolarismo fueron entrevistadas. Los resultados del estudio coinciden con las investigaciones publicadas anteriormente, ya que sugieren que el espacio de la cultura puede promover la construcción de relaciones igualitarias y que ello posibilita transformaciones profundas que mejoran la vida de las personas

Understanding, therefore, how these companies develop innovations is of utmost importance. Among the different strategies to achieve innovations in these companies, we are interested in analysing technological collaborations. In this article we summarize the implications of international collaborations for knowledge-intensive service businesses, differentiating between professional and technological ones. We consider the diversity and proximity of the partners in the collaboration.Las empresas de servicios intensivos en conocimiento juegan un papel fundamental como intermediarios y generadores de conocimiento en la economía actual. La comprensión, por tanto, de cómo estas empresas desarrollan innovaciones es de suma importancia. La influencia de la normativa sobre certificados de lenguas extranjeras en la motivación de los estudiantes universitarios
Get PDFThis paper aims to analyse the extent to which the latest changes to the foreign language certificate regulation have influenced undergraduates’ motivation to learn English, especially among final year students at the Centro de Magisterio La Inmaculada. The main reason why we focused on the students in question is the fact that they are divided into different groups depending on their major subject (Science, English, Physical Education and Attention to Diversity), which has enabled us to observe four different profiles. Furthermore, we wanted to explore the possible differences between them regarding two main issues: their motivation to study English as a Foreign Language and their opinions about the change in foreign language regulation at the University of Granada. In order to examine these questions, we created a questionnaire that gathered both quantitative and qualitative data. The results confirmed our hypothesis: the latest regulation has affected students’ motivation towards EFL learning. Now, more than ever, undergraduates opt for learning English to obtain a B1 certificate that will allow them to graduate from University. Moreover, there have been some significant differences between the groups, especially in the case of future English teachers and the rest of specialities.El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar la influencia que ha tenido el último cambio de normativa acerca de la certificación de las lenguas extranjeras en la motivación para el aprendizaje de inglés entre los estudiantes, especialmente los alumnos del último curso en el Centro de Magisterio La Inmaculada. La principal razón por la que nos centramos en los alumnos en cuestión es el hecho de que están divididos en diferentes grupos dependiendo de la mención (Ciencias, Inglés, Educación Física y Atención a la Diversidad), lo que significa que hemos podido observar cuatro perfiles de alumnado distintos. Asimismo, hemos querido explorar las posibles diferencias entre ellos con respecto a dos problemas fundamentales: su motivación para estudiar inglés como lengua extranjera y su opinión en cuanto al cambio de la normativa de las lenguas extranjeras en la Universidad de Granada. Para contestar estas preguntas, hemos creado un cuestionario que recoge tanto datos cuantitativos como datos cualitativos. Los resultados confirman nuestra hipótesis: las últimas regulaciones han traído cambios acerca de la motivación de los alumnos para el aprendizaje de inglés como lengua extranjera. Ahora, más que nunca, los estudiantes optan por estudiar inglés para obtener el certificado del nivel B1, lo que les permite terminar la carrera universitaria. Además, ha habido diferencias significativas entre los grupos, sobre todo entre los futuros maestros de inglés y el resto de las especialidades
El español jurídico: propuesta de intervención en el aula de español con fines específicos
Get PDFIt is commonly known that in order to learn a language correctly, knowledge of grammar rules, vocabulary and other formal rules must be accompanied by knowledge of the associated culture. The main consideration when it comes to dealing with this matter is which culture to bring into the classroom. This issue is more noticeable when it comes to specialty languages. This article will try to establish what specialty languages are in general, and to introduce the main characteristics of legal Spanish in particular. Moreover, in line with the above observation, the “professional culture” in this case, the customs and practices of legal practitioners in the course of their daily work, will be also addressed.
In addition to this theoretical approach, this article contains an intervention proposal, concretely a didactic unit concerning a criminal law case. This proposal includes a range of varied activities, the goal of which is to focus on legal Spanish grammar, lexicon and discursive typology contents as well as legal professional culture. All the mentioned contents are introduced through a real case study, which guides the student from the beginning to the end of the didactic unit. Moreover, the student takes part as an active agent in the case for the prosecution or defense.Es bien sabido que para el correcto aprendizaje de una lengua, además de conocer las reglas gramaticales, el léxico y demás normas formales, también se debe conocer la cultura relacionada con la misma. La cuestión principal cuando se trata este asunto es qué cultura llevar al aula, pregunta que se acentúa cuando tratamos las lenguas de especialidad. El presente artículo trata de definir qué son las lenguas de especialidad en general y de presentar las características del español jurídico en concreto. Además, y en consonancia con lo mencionado anteriormente, también se trata la “cultura profesional”, es decir, los usos y costumbres que tienen los operadores jurídicos españoles en el ejercicio de su profesión.
Además de este enfoque teórico, también se plantea una propuesta de intervención, concretamente se trata de una unidad didáctica basada en un caso real de derecho penal. Esta propuesta incluye una serie de actividades variadas que tienen como objetivo trabajar contenidos gramaticales, léxicos, de tipología discursiva propios del español jurídico así como de la cultura profesional jurídica. Estos contenidos se presentan a través un caso real que acompaña al alumno desde el principio hasta el final de la unidad didáctica y del cual forma parte activamente, ya sea como acusación o como defensa

In a society in which neoliberalism generates individualism, selfishness and vulnerability in citizenship, critical DLL defends weaving social networks, research and educational actions in which dialogue, dialogic interactions versus power ones, generate communicative emancipation, personal and social transformations as well as that of social inequalities.

En una sociedad en la que el neoliberalismo genera individualismo, egoísmo y vulnerabilidad en la ciudadanía, la DLL crítica defiende tejer redes sociales, investigación y acciones educativas en las que el diálogo, las interacciones dialógicas frente a las interacciones de poder, generen emancipación comunicativa, transformaciones personales y sociales y transformación de las desigualdades sociales.
