Anita Belciugăţeanu y carpe rosam: su recepción en Francia y España
Full text linkThis article delves into an episode of the intellectual biography of the Italianist and Romanian comparatist Anita Belciugăţeanu (1892-1944): the reception of her monograph Carpe rosam: tema poetică a trandafirului în literatura italiană şi franceză a Renaşterii (1931). Firstly, Belciugăţeanu’s biobibliography is reviewed, emphasizing her academic journey and significant contributions to Romanian comparatism. Subsequently, based on firsthand bibliographic research, the reception of her work in France and Spain is explored. Previously unpublished documentation is presented: Paul Van Tieghem\u27s annotations on the copy of Carpe rosam sent to him by the Romanian author and the words that Blanca González de Escandón dedicated to Belciugăţeanu in a copy of her own work, which apparently never reached its intended recipient.Este trabajo aborda un episodio de la biografía intelectual de la italianista y comparatista rumana Anita Belciugăţeanu (1892-1944): la recepción de su monografía Carpe rosam: tema poetică a trandafirului în literatura italiană şi franceză a Renaşterii (1931). Se repasa, en primer lugar, la biobibliografía de Belciugăţeanu, con énfasis en su trayectoria académica y sus principales contribuciones al comparatismo rumano. Posteriormente, sobre la base de investigación bibliográfica de primera mano, se da cuenta de la recepción de su obra en Francia y España. Se publica documentación inédita al respecto: las anotaciones de Paul Van Tieghem sobre su ejemplar de Carpe rosam, que la autora rumana le remitió, y la dedicatoria que Blanca González de Escandón escribió en un ejemplar de su propia obra, dirigida a la propia Belciugăţeanu, que, aparentemente, no llegó nunca a su destinataria.Ce travail explore un épisode de la biographie intellectuelle de l\u27italianiste et comparatiste roumaine Anita Belciugăţeanu (1892-1944): la réception de sa monographie Carpe rosam: tema poetică a trandafirului în literatura italiană şi franceză a Renaşterii (1931). Tout d’abord, la biobibliographie de Belciugăţeanu est passée en revue, mettant l’accent sur son parcours académique et ses contributions significatives au comparatisme roumain. Ensuite, basée sur une recherche bibliographique de première main, la réception de son travail en France et en Espagne est explorée. Une documentation précédemment inédite est présentée : les annotations de Paul Van Tieghem sur l’exemplaire de Carpe rosam que l’auteure roumaine lui a envoyé et les mots que Blanca González de Escandón a dédiés à Belciugăţeanu dans un exemplaire de sa propre œuvre, qui n’a apparemment jamais atteint sa destinataire prévue
Senior entrepreneurship in Latin America
Full text linkThis research analyzes factors that influence the decision of the senior population (+50 years) to engage in entrepreneurship activities in Latin American countries. We used data from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor with a sample of 22,139 individual observations. We also used the Human Development Index to seize the level of development. Some individual factors such as personal income, education, and occupation have a significant influence in senior entrepreneurship. The level of human development of a country has a negative influence mainly on opportunity-based entrepreneurs. Our research has policy and practical implications, primarily those related to labor markets and social protection.This research analyzes some factors that influence the decision of the senior population to engage in entrepreneurship activities in a group of Latin American countries. We used data from the GEM with a sample of 22,139 individual observations. We also used the Human Development Index to seize the level of development. This research finds that some individual factors such as personal income, education, and occupation have a significant influence on the probability of entrepreneurship of senior individuals. The level of human development of a country has a negative influence mainly on opportunity-based entrepreneurs

No full textThe complexity of the 21st century challenges facing teachers - such as the development of artificial intelligence, the effective application of the principle of equality and inclusion in the classroom or the vulnerability that Western democracies are currently showing - highlight the urgency of acquiring not only technical and didactic skills but also those related to educational ethics. For this reason, this article sets out to analyse the situation regarding the initial training of secondary school teachers in Spain in terms of the competences and contents taught in the 39 public Spanish universities that offer the Master\u27s Degree in Teacher Training for Secondary Education, Vocational Training and Languages. The study uses the methodology of comparative analysis between the legislative obligation and the applied reality. The results, by way of diagnosis, reflect the training deficit in the subject of study.La complejidad de los desafíos del siglo XXI a los que se enfrenta el profesorado -tales como el desarrollo de la inteligencia artificial, la aplicación efectiva del principio de igualdad e inclusión en las aulas o la vulnerabilidad que manifiestan en la actualidad las democracias occidentales- evidencian la urgencia de adquisición competencias no sólo técnicas o didácticas sino también en materia de ética educativa. Por ello, el presente artículo se propone analizar la situación respecto a la formación inicial del profesorado de Educación Media en España, en torno a las competencias y los contenidos impartidos en las 39 universidades españolas públicas que ofertan el Máster Universitario en Formación del Profesorado de Secundaria Bachillerato, Formación Profesional e Idiomas. El estudio utiliza la metodología de análisis comparativo entre la obligatoriedad legislativa y la realidad aplicada. No full textDisaffection shown by trainee teachers towards the learning of natural sciences restricts their performance and, therefore, their future teaching skills. Working in a STEAM context, this proposal aims to bring Project Based Learning closer to Primary Education students, providing them with new skills and tools by accomplishing a applied experience about flora and fauna. By means of a motivation questionnaire specifically designed, the degree of satisfaction of the participants with this methodology and their expectations regarding its application in the context of the Primary Education stage are analysed. Results show that students value positively the inclusion of PBL in their educational development, highlighting the importance of using active and innovative methodologies in the classroom.La desafección que muestra el alumnado de magisterio hacia el aprendizaje de las ciencias naturales condiciona su rendimiento y, por ende, sus futuras habilidades docentes. Trabajando en un contexto STEAM, esta propuesta pretende acercar el Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos (ABP) a la docencia del Grado en Educación Primaria, proporcionando nuevas habilidades y herramientas por medio de una experiencia práctica sobre flora y fauna. A través de un cuestionario de motivación específicamente diseñado, se analiza el grado de satisfacción del grupo participante con esta metodología y sus expectativas respecto a su aplicación en el contexto de la etapa de Educación Primaria. Los resultados muestran una valoración positiva de la inclusión del ABP en su desarrollo formativo, poniendo de relieve la importancia de utilizar metodologías activas e innovadoras en el aula

Full text linkThis article analyzes the characterization of steampunk and its problems based on the prominence given to semantic and referential criteria in the analysis of non-mimetic literature. To this end, the text reflects on the notion of uchronia and its adaptation to different examples of steampunk works, before offering a thematological analysis proposal focused on the prominence of the techno-mechanical artifact—and on the affective relationship and fetishistic with it—inspired by the First Industrial Revolution as a defining feature of the genre.El artículo analiza la caracterización del steampunk y su problemática a partir del protagonismo otorgado a los criterios semánticos y referenciales en el análisis de la literatura no mimética. Para ello, reflexiona sobre la noción de ucronía y su adecuación a distintos ejemplos de obras steampunk, antes de ofrecer una propuesta de análisis de corte tematológico centrada en el protagonismo del artefacto tecnomecánico —y en la relación afectiva y fetichista con él— inspirado en la primera revolución industrial como rasgo definitorio del género.L’article analyse la caractérisation du steampunk et ses problèmes à partir de l’importance accordée aux critères sémantiques et référentiels dans l’analyse de la littérature non mimétique. Symbolic and Affective Dimensions of Human-Animal Relationships in Anuradha Roy’s The Earthspinner
Full text linkThe Earthspinner (2021) is a multi-layered work in which the dog Chinna acts as an emotional link between all the characters. This paper aims to examine the novel through the lens of affective ecocriticism, focusing on how Roy relates imagery of fire, water and earth to emotions of loss, longing and hatred in the novel. Following a polyhedral analysis, I have chosen to focus on the lives, vicissitudes and misadventures of the novel’s three main characters, paying attention to the affections that move and guide their lives and to the different axes around which Anuradha Roy has constructed this novel. Finally, and given the symbolic richness of The Earthspinner, I will offer a global hermeneutic analysis along with the final conclusions. The Earthspinner (2021) es una obra con múltiples aristas en la que el perro Chinna actúa como vínculo emocional entre todos los personajes. Este artículo pretende examinar la novela a través de la perspectiva de la ecocrítica afectiva, centrándome en cómo Roy relaciona las imágenes del fuego, el agua y la tierra con las emociones de pérdida, añoranza y odio en la novela. A partir de un análisis poliédrico, me centro en las vidas, vicisitudes y desventuras de los tres personajes principales de la novela, atendiendo a los afectos que mueven y guían sus vidas y a los distintos ejes en torno a los cuales Anuradha Roy ha construido esta novela. Por último, y dada la riqueza simbólica de la obra, ofrezco un análisis hermenéutico global junto con las conclusiones finales.The Earthspinner (2021) est une œuvre à plusieurs niveaux dans laquelle le chien Chinna sert de lien émotionnel entre tous les personnages. Cet article vise à examiner le roman à travers le prisme de l\u27écocritique affective, en se concentrant sur la façon dont Roy associe l\u27imagerie du feu, l’eau et de la terre aux émotions de perte, de désir et de haine dans le roman. En suivant une analyse polyédrique, j\u27ai choisi de me concentrer sur les vies, les vicissitudes et les mésaventures des trois personnages principaux du roman, en prêtant attention aux affections qui meuvent et guident leurs vies et aux différents axes autour desquels Anuradha Roy a construit ce roman. Enfin, étant donné la richesse symbolique de The Earthspinner, je proposerai une analyse herméneutique globale ainsi que les conclusions finales

No full textIn Ava en la noche (2020), Manuel Vicent narrates the learning process of a young aspiring screenwriter and film director who, in the early sixties, shapes his conscience as he experiences Franco’s repression and perceives a demanding society of change. The objectives of this paper are to explore the novel from the theoretical perspective of the Künstlerroman (or “artist’s novel”), and to apply certain initiatory categories of the hero outlined by mythical studies. The analysis of these elements makes visible the vital and aesthetic phases that lead the protagonist to existential maturity, to his historicity and to the commitment of his filmic art in correlation with the questioning of the dictatorial regime.En Ava en la noche (2020), Manuel Vicent narra el proceso de aprendizaje de un joven aspirante a guionista y director de cine que, a comienzos de los sesenta, moldea su conciencia al experimentar la represión franquista y percibir una sociedad demandante de cambios. Los objetivos de este trabajo son explorar la novela desde la perspectiva teórica del Künstlerroman (o "novela de artista"), y aplicar ciertas categorías iniciáticas del héroe perfiladas por los estudios míticos. El análisis de estos elementos visibiliza las fases vitales y estéticas que encauzan al protagonista hacia la madurez existencial, hacia su historicidad y al compromiso de su arte fílmico en correlato con los cuestionamientos al régimen dictatorial.Dans Ava en la noche (2020), Manuel Vicent raconte le processus d\u27apprentissage d\u27un jeune aspirant scénariste et réalisateur qui, au début des années 1960, forme sa conscience en faisant l\u27expérience de la répression franquiste et en percevant une société en quête de changement.
