Deviasi Sosial pada Anomali Perilaku Waria dalam Novel Taman Api Karya Yonathan Rahardjo
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan deviasi sosial pada anomali (penyimpangan) perilaku waria yang terdapat dalam novel Taman Api karya Yonathan Rahardjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel Taman Api karya Yonathan Rahardjo, cetakan pertama tahun 2011 dan diterbitkan oleh Penerbit Pustaka Alvabet Jakarta. Penelitian ini berfokus pada permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan penyimpangan perilaku waria. Data penelitian berupa teks yang terdapat dalam novel. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan analisis konten, teknik dokumen, dan dijelaskan dari segi isi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian ditunjukkan dalam novel ini anomali perilaku waria, antara lain: kegamangan identitas gender, berperangai serta berhias layaknya perempuan, perubahan kodrat, dan penyuka sesama jenis. Implikasi penelitian ini secara teoretis memperkaya kajian sosiologi sastra dengan menganalisis representasi penyimpangan gender dalam karya sastra Indonesia. Implikasi secara sosial dapat menjadi bahan refleksi bagi masyarakat untuk memahami kompleksitas identitas waria tanpa prasangka, sekaligus mendorong diskusi tentang inklusivitas gender.Social Deviation in Transvestite Behavioral Anomalies in the Novel Taman Api by Yonathan RahardjoThis study aims to describe and explain social deviations in the anomaly (deviation) of transvestite behavior contained in the novel Taman Api by Yonathan Rahardjo. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method, drawing on a sociological approach to literature. The data source for this study is the novel Taman Api by Yonathan Rahardjo, first published in 2011 by Penerbit Pustaka Alvabet Jakarta. This study focuses on problems related to the deviation of transvestite behavior. The research data is in the form of texts contained in the novel. Data collection using content analysis, document techniques, and explained in terms of content. The data analysis technique uses an interactive analysis model. The results of the study are shown in this novel the anomaly of transvestite behavior, including: uncertainty of gender identity, behaving and dressing like women, changes in nature, and liking the same sex. The implications of this study theoretically enrich the study of the sociology of literature by analyzing the representation of gender deviation in Indonesian literary works. Social implications can be a reflection material for society to understand the complexity of transvestite identity without prejudice, while encouraging discussions about gender inclusivity
Wordwall as an Interactive Media to Increase Social Studies Learning Motivation
Get PDFSocial Studies (IPS) learning in elementary schools faces significant challenges due to low student motivation, stemming from the theoretical nature of the subject matter and conventional teaching approaches. Observations at SDN Balekambang 03 Pagi reveal minimal student enthusiasm, lack of active participation, and suboptimal learning outcomes in fifth-grade Social Studies classes. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the interactive learning media Wordwall in enhancing the motivation to learn Social Studies among fifth-grade students at SDN Balekambang 03 Pagi. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The subjects were 28 students from class VB selected through purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted using method triangulation: participatory observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of the learning process. Data analysis followed a model of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, with source triangulation used for validation. The implementation of Wordwall demonstrated a significant transformation in the dynamics of Social Studies learning. Students showed increased enthusiasm, active participation, and engagement in learning activities. The use of various educational game formats such as interactive quizzes, spin wheels, and matching games successfully shifted students' perceptions of Social Studies from boring to fun and engaging. Teachers reported positive changes in student attitudes, with a reduction in disruptive behavior and an increase in learning focus. This study contributes to the development of innovative Social Studies learning strategies through the integration of digital technology. The findings support the implementation of game-based learning as an effective solution to address motivational issues in primary education. Analysis of Sirah Learning Model at MATSA, Malaysia and Dayah Darul Muta'allimin, Aceh: Between Traditional and Contemporary Educational Institutions
Get PDFThe research aims to determine the depth of sirah material in MATSA, Malaysia, and Dayah Darul Muta'allimin, Aceh, collecting data related to the teaching sources used, methods used, media variations, and evaluation of learning implemented. The research uses a multi-site qualitative approach, with data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and document studies. Data were collected using validated instruments. Data analysis involves data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The research results show that the scope of Sirah's learning material taught at the intermediate level is generally relatively similar. The teaching resource at MATSA, Malaysia, uses the book "Kitab al Sirah al Nabawiyyah" by Yayasan Islam Kelantan. At Dayah Darul Muta'allimin, the "Kitab Khulashah Nurul Yaqin" by Syekh Umar Abdul Jabbar is used. Even so, the difference in the teaching resources used makes the learning of sirah in Dayah Darul Muta'allimin more traditional. The methods used are Arabic text translation techniques and storytelling techniques. The media used are Microsoft PowerPoint and the Kahoot application. The research contributes to the development of learning models in Islamic education. Trend in the Learning Model of Islamic Education Over a Decade: A Bibliometric Review
Get PDFThis research aims to analyze publication trends related to learning models in Islamic Religious Education over the past decade using bibliometric analysis. The analysis was conducted using Scopus, Excel, and the VOSviewer application. The study covers the period from 2014 to 2024, identifying a total of 233 relevant articles. The results indicate a significant increase in publications on learning models each year, with 2022 having the highest number. Indonesia remains the most active country in publishing research on this topic until 2024. The three leading journals in this field are Jurnal Pendidikan Islam, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung; Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam, Department of Islamic Religious Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta; and Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute (MDPI) in third place. The most productive affiliations are Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia and UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. In addition, five authors, i.e. Kistoro, H.C.A; Rahmat, M; Supriyadi; Syafii; and Tambak, S, have each published at least three articles on the topic. Moral and Spiritual Perspectives in the Semantic Study of the Poem Da’il Ayyama Taf’alu Ma Tasya‘u by Imam Asy-Syafi’i
Get PDFResearch is a study of the elements that form poetry. In analyzing poetry, attention is usually paid to the relationship between lyrics in verses, the relationship between verses, intrinsic elements in verses, and the message conveyed by a poet, and includes the style of language used and the meaning contained in a poem. This study aims to analyze the aspects of lexical semantics and grammatical semantics in the poem by Imam Asy-Syafi'i entitled "Da'il Ayya>ma Taf'alu Ma> Tasya>‘u. The method used in this study is analytical descriptive research with a literature study approach to the analysis of lexical semantics in the meaning of individual words and grammatical semantics in the meaning of word structures. The results of the study indicate that this poem contains lexical meaning and grammatical meaning in strengthening the moral and spiritual messages of the contents of the poem. In terms of morals and ethics, this poem emphasizes noble values such as generosity and loyalty, which are the foundation of harmonious social relations and reflect strong faith, while in a spiritual context, this poem reminds us that everything in this world is ephemeral. Nouns such as "الأيام" (days), "حوادث الدنيا" (world events), and "المنايا" (death) emphasizes that worldly life is a journey full of trials and ends in certain death. Interrelated moral and spiritual values include patience, sincerity, generosity, justice, and awareness of the transience of the world. Ekploitasi Buruh Perempuan pada Perusahaan Tekstil di Brebes
Get PDFArtikel ini mengkaji secara mendalam mengenai eksploitasi pada buruh perempuan yang bekerja di PT. X, Kabupaten Brebes dengan status pekerja tidak tetap. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam pada buruh yang masih aktif bekerja dan mantan buruh yang pernah bekerja di PT. X. Penelitian ini fokus pada pengalaman eksploitasi buruh perempuan selama bekerja. Selain wawancara mendalam, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan dokumentasi yang berhubungan dengan topik penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa buruh perempuan mengalami berbagai bentuk eksploitasi seperti jam kerja yang berlebihan, upah lembur yang tidak sesuai dengan regulasi, ketimpangan fasilitas kerja antar shift, jaminan sosial seperti BPJS yang tidak merata, status kerja yang tidak pasti sehingga buruh rentan mengalami pemutusan hubungan kerja secara sepihak dan juga kekerasan simbolik melalui perkataan kasar. Emansipasi Perempuan Dalam Membingkai Fiqih Sosial
Get PDF ABSTRAK: Di Indonesia perjuangan emansipasi perempuan penuh dengan dinamika. Bentuk Gerakan maupun penekanan isunya selalu mengalami perubahan. Khusunya tinjauan beberapa dekade terakhir ini, telah muncul kesadaran baru dikalangan intelektual dan aktivitis perempuan bahwa paradigma lama dalam gerakan perempuan perlu ditinjau ulang. Fiqih yang selama ini hanya dipahami sebagai alat membaca untuk mengukur kebenaran ortodoksi (halal,haram), diera modernisasi seperti saat ini perlu memahami fiqih sebagai realitas sosial untuk kemudian mengambil sikap dan tindakan tertentu atas realitas sosial tersebut, konsep ini disebut fiqih sosial. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif dengan penelitian pustaka (library research), yaitu penelitian yang penemuan objeknya dilakukan dengan menggali informasi kepustakaan, khususnya berupa teks yang terdapat pada buku-buku, ensiklopedi, jurnal ilmiyah, website dan dokumen lain. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengkajian dapat disimpulkan : Pertama, perlu adanya kontekstualisasi pemahaman terhadap fiqih, yang selama ini fiqih dijadikan sebatas sebagai madzhab tekstua(qauli), fiqih juga dijadikan sebagai madzhab manhaji(metodologis). Kedua, pemahaman fiqih terhadap perempuan perlu ditinjau ulang khususnya perannya dalam bidang sosial. Ketiga, perempuan memiliki lima peran penting, yaitu sebagai istri, ibu rumah tangga, pendidik, juru dakwah dan penggerak social. Keempat, Pendidikan sebagai akatualisasi nyata dalam memajukan perempuan..Kata kunci: Emansipasi perempuan, Fiqih sosialABSTRACT: In Indonesia, the struggle for women's emancipation is full of dynamics. The form of the movement and the emphasis on its issues are always changing. Especially reviewing the last few decades, a new awareness has emerged among women's intellectuals and activists that the old paradigm in the women's movement needs to be reviewed. Until now, fiqh has only been understood as a reading tool to measure the truth of orthodoxy (halal, haram), in the current era of modernization it is necessary to understand fiqh as a social reality to then take certain attitudes and actions regarding that social reality, this concept is called social fiqh. This research is descriptive qualitative with library research, namely research in which the object is discovered by exploring library information, especially in the form of texts found in books, encyclopedias, scientific journals, websites, and other documents. Based on the results of the research and study, it can be concluded: First, there is a need to contextualize the understanding of fiqh, while fiqh has so far been used only as a textual school of thought (qauli), fiqh has also been used as a manhaji (methodological) school of thought. Second, the understanding of women in jurisprudence needs to be reviewed, especially their role in the social field. Third, women have five important roles, namely as wives, housewives, educators, preachers, and social activists. Improving The Ability To Read Kitab Kuning Through The Manhaji Method At Darun Nuhat Islamic Boarding School, Petiyin, Solokuro, Lamongan
Get PDFThis study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing the Manhaji Method in improving the ability to read Kitab Kuning (classical Islamic texts) at Darun Nuhat Islamic Boarding School, Petiyin-Solokuro, Lamongan. Kitab Kuning serves as the primary literature in pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) but often poses challenges for students due to limited understanding of Nahwu (Arabic grammar) and Sharaf (morphology). The Manhaji Method, systematically designed, offers a practical approach to studying Kitab Kuning through structured, tiered learning from basic to advanced levels. This research employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, document studies, and reading ability tests. Data were collected from various sources such as pesantren leaders, teachers, and students through interviews and direct observation of the learning process. The study's results show that the implementation of the Manhaji Method significantly enhances students' understanding of Kitab Kuning, particularly in the aspects of Nahwu and Sharaf. Students demonstrated improved abilities in recognizing sentence structures, understanding word transformations, and applying grammatical rules effectively. This success is supported by competent teachers employing simple and systematic approaches, a well-structured, tiered curriculum from basic to advanced levels, and a conducive learning environment. The pesantren atmosphere, adequate facilities, and the collective enthusiasm of students created an optimal learning ecosystem. The efficiency of the Manhaji Method also increased students’ motivation through a structured and practical tiered learning process. This study recommends that the Manhaji Method be more widely adopted in other pesantren while considering local contexts. A broader application of this method is expected to support sustainable pesantren education, improve the quality of Kitab Kuning instruction, and strengthen the Islamic scholarly tradition in various educational institutions.Keywords: Manhaji Method; Kitab Kuning; Pesantren; Nahwu; Sharaf
Gender, Age, and Teaching Experience Factors in Creative Teaching Practices Among Islamic Education Lecturers
Get PDFThis study aims to evaluate creative teaching practices among Islamic Education lecturers at Muhammadiyah University of Cirebon and analyze the differences and relationships between these practices and demographic variables such as gender, age, and teaching experience. This research employs a quantitative approach with a survey method, using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire distributed online to 75 lecturers selected through simple random sampling. The instrument used consists of 24 items with high reliability (α = 0,941). Data analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics Version 28.0, including normality tests, descriptive analysis, and inferential analysis. The normality test results indicate that the data is normally distributed. Descriptive analysis shows that the lecturers' creative teaching practices are at a high level (mean = 3.99, SD = 0.471), with the item "Connecting issues with everyday life" having the highest average score (mean = 4.42, SD = 0.701). An independent t-test revealed no significant differences in creative teaching practices based on gender (t = -0.120, p = 0.905). Pearson correlation analysis also showed no significant relationship between gender, age, and teaching experience with creative teaching practices. These findings indicate that these demographic variables do not influence the level of creative teaching practices among Islamic Education lecturers. The implication is that creative teaching practices among Islamic education lecturers are consistently high, regardless of gender, age, or teaching experience, indicating the limited influence of these demographic factors.Keywords: Creative Teaching Practices, Islamic Education Lecturers, Descriptive Analysis, Inferential Analysis, Muhammadiyah University of Cirebon
Karcis-Delay sebagai Media Terapi Wicara pada Anak dengan Gangguan Keterlambatan Bicara
Get PDFKeterlambatan berbicara pada anak jika dibiarkan dan tidak ditangani dengan benar dapat menjadi suatu gangguan serius yang bisa mempengaruhi perkembangan lain baik kognitif, kemandirian, maupun sosial. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu 1) mengetahui analisis kebutuhan media karcis-delay dan 2) mendeskripsikan desain karcis-delay sebagai alternatif terapi wicara pada anak dengan gangguan keterlambatan berbicara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development). Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, angket, wawancara, dan Diskusi Kelompok Terpumpun (DKT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) media karcis-delay sangat dibutuhkan sebagai stimulus untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara anak dengan gangguan keterlambatan berbicara 2) berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh kebutuhan konten media karcis-delay yaitu kartu emosi dan penyebabnya. Kartu emosi yang disusun berupa emosi marah, sedih, bahagia, takut, terkejut, dan jijik beserta penyebabnya.Delay-Ticket as a Speech Therapy Media for Children with Speech Delay DisordersSpeech delays in children are left untreated and not handled properly, they can become a serious disorder that can affect other developments, including cognitive, independence, and social development. The aims of this research are 1) to understand the analysis of the need for delay-ticket media and 2) to describe the delay-ticket design as an alternative speech therapy for children with speech delay disorders. This research method is research and development. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires, interviews, and FGD. The results of the research show that 1) ticket-delay media is really needed as a stimulus to improve the speaking ability of children with speech delay disorders. 2) Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the content needed for ticket-delay media was emotional cards and their causes. The emotion cards are arranged in the form of emotions of anger, sadness, happiness, fear, surprise, and disgust, along with their causes
