    DEVELOPMENT OF WASTE BANK MANAGEMENT TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT AND IMPROVE THE ECONOMIC LEVEL OF THE COMMUNITY IN SENDANGGUWO VILLAGE, TEMBALANG DISTRICT, SEMARANG CITY. Suboptimal waste management is an environmental problem that has widespread impacts on community health, hygiene, and quality of life. The waste bank program presents an innovative solution for community-based waste management. This study aims to develop a waste bank management system in Sendangguwo Village, Tembalang District, Semarang City, to protect the environment while improving the economic well-being of residents. The research method used was a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and documentation with managers and the surrounding community. The results indicate that waste bank development can reduce household waste volume by up to 40%, foster environmental awareness, and provide additional income for the community through the sale of sorted waste. Furthermore, recycling education and training activities also strengthen community empowerment. Thus, waste bank management has proven effective as an instrument for economic empowerment and environmental preservation at the local level

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh film animasi Nussa, khususnya episode “Jangan Kalah Sama Setan”, terhadap penanaman akhlak pada anak. Perkembangan teknologi digital telah meningkatkan intensitas anak dalam mengonsumsi tayangan audiovisual, sehingga media berperan ganda sebagai sarana edukasi sekaligus berpotensi menjadi sumber perilaku negatif apabila tidak diarahkan dengan tepat. Serial Nussa diproduksi sebagai animasi edukatif bernuansa Islam yang menggabungkan nilai-nilai moral dengan alur cerita visual yang menarik, sehingga banyak dimanfaatkan orang tua dan pendidik sebagai media penunjang pembentukan karakter anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain ex post facto. Sampel penelitian berjumlah tiga puluh enam anak yang dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling dari populasi lima puluh enam anak di RW 10 Kelurahan Pekalipan Kota Cirebon. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket skala Likert, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas, uji normalitas serta linearitas, regresi linier sederhana, uji t, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa menonton film animasi Nussa berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penanaman akhlak anak, dengan nilai t hitung 4,419 dan signifikansi 0,000 serta nilai R Square 0,365. Temuan tersebut menegaskan bahwa film animasi Nussa dapat menjadi media edutainment efektif dalam pembentukan akhlak anak apabila didukung dengan pendampingan dan arahan yang tepat dari orang tu

    Exploring Religious Moderation through Student-Written Flash Fiction

    This study examines the integration of religious moderation values through flash fiction written by students. The research design used mixed methods involving 25 students. The data collected consisted of quantitative and qualitative data. Data were collected through a questionnaire related to students' understanding of religious moderation. The results of the initial questionnaire became the basis for teachers in delivering the material to students. After being given the material, students were asked to create a short story containing religious moderation. After completing the story, students were asked to complete a questionnaire containing three questions related to their understanding of religious moderation, its application in the story, and its application in everyday life. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The results showed a strong understanding of religious moderation and creative application of it in narratives. Quantitative findings showed an average increase of 20%. These results indicate that flash fiction is a promising educational tool for promoting religious moderation. The initial survey results showed that most students had experienced incidents of intolerance. Data from student-generated stories indicate that the majority of students understand religious moderation as "accepting and respecting the beliefs of others," practicing tolerance through fictional stories, and applying it in daily life. Religious moderation can be effectively implemented through learning models, such as writing flash fiction. Practically, this study offers a replicable framework for educators to integrate moral education into literacy development. These findings suggest that implementing student-centered activities, such as flash fiction, into the curriculum can foster empathy, tolerance, and social harmony in diverse classroom environments. The results of this study are expected to provide alternatives for teachers when teaching the same or other materials.Menggali Moderasi Beragama melalui Karya Flash Fiction SiswaPenelitian ini mengkaji integrasi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama melalui flash fiction yang ditulis oleh siswa. Desain penelitian menggunakan mixed methods yang melibatkan 25 siswa. Data yang dikumpulkan terdiri dari data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket terkait pemahaman siswa tentang moderasi beragama. Hasil angket awal menjadi dasar bagi guru dalam menyampaikan materi kepada siswa. Setelah diberi materi, siswa diminta untuk membuat cerita pendek yang memuat moderasi beragama. Selesai membuat cerita, siswa diminta mengisi angket yang memuat tiga pertanyaan terkait pemahaman moderasi beragma, penerapannya dalam cerita, dan penerapannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, sedangkan data kualitatif dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemahaman yang kuat tentang moderasi beragama dan secara kreatif menerapkannya dalam narasi. Temuan kuantitatif menunjukkan peningkatan rerata sebesar 20%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa flash fiction merupakan alat edukatif yang menjanjikan untuk mempromosikan moderasi beragama. Hasil survei awal menunjukkan bahwa Sebagian besar siswa pernah mengalami peristiwa intoleransi. Data dari cerita yang dibuat oleh siswa menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa memahami moderasi beragama sebagai "menerima dan menghormati keyakinan orang lain", menerapkan toleransi melalui cerita fiksi, dan menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Moderasi beragama dapat diterapkan secara efektif melalui model pembelajaran, seperti penulisan fiksi kilat. Secara praktis, studi ini menawarkan kerangka kerja yang dapat direplikasi bagi para pendidik untuk mengintegrasikan pendidikan moral ke dalam pengembangan literasi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kegiatan yang berpusat pada siswa, seperti fiksi kilat, ke dalam kurikulum dapat mendorong empati, toleransi, dan harmoni sosial dalam beragam lingkungan kelas.     Constructing Good Citizenship Through Social Studies: Comparative Insights from Indonesia and Philippines

    The massive developments of the times have encouraged the idea of protecting the younger generation from moral and character decay. To prevent this phenomenon, social studies (IPS) has emerged as an answer to concerns about moral and character decay. IPS is a field of study that aims to shape students into good citizens. This is implemented by all countries with their own policies. Indonesia and the Philippines are two countries that implement good citizenship as the goal of social studies education in their respective countries. Therefore, based on this background, the purpose of this article is to identify and compare the implementation of good citizenship in social studies education in Indonesia and the Philippines. The method used in writing this article is qualitative literature study research to analyze the comparison of the implementation of good citizenship in social studies education in Indonesia and Araling Panlipunan (AP) in the Philippines. The data was obtained through the stages of identification, data collection, analysis, interpretation, and refinement of the manuscript. The results of the study show that both countries implement good citizenship in social studies education, with Indonesia implementing it through the independent curriculum, while the Philippines implements it through the MATATAG Curriculum.     Eksplorasi Fonemik terhadap Bahasa Kerinci: Studi pada Isolek Koto Renah

    Bahasa Kerinci sebagai salah satu bahasa daerah di Sumatra memiliki variasi dialektal yang beragam, termasuk isolek Koto Renah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan jenis bunyi, bentuk fonem dan distribusinya, serta pola silabel dalam isolek. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode simak dan cakap yang didukung oleh teknik rekam dan catat. Data lisan yang diperoleh kemudian ditranskripsikan secara fonetis dengan merujuk pada International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). Selanjutnya, data dianalisis melalui uji pasangan minimal, uji distribusi komplementer, serta metode padan fonetis artikulatoris dengan alat ucap sebagai penentu pembentukan bunyi bahasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa isolek Koto Renah memiliki 37 bunyi yang mencakup vokoid, kontoid, dan diftong. Sistem fonemnya terdiri atas 31 fonem, meliputi enam fonem vokal, yaitu /i/, /e/ /ə/, /a/, /u/, dan /o/ dengan alofon [o~ɔ]; enam fonem diftong, yaitu /əa/ dengan alofon [əa~ea], /ay/, /aw/, /oa/, /ɔa/, dan /ow/ dengan alofon [ow~ou]; serta sembilan belas fonem konsonan, yaitu /p/, /b/, /t/, /d/, /c/, /j/, /k/, /g/, /m/, /n/, /ɲ/, /ŋ/, /l/, /r/, /s/, /w/, /y/, /h/, dan /ʔ/. Pola suku kata yang ditemukan dalam isolek Koto Renah terdiri atas tujuh pola, yaitu V, VK, KV, KD, KDK, KVK, dan KKDK. Penelitian ini berimplikasi pada penguatan kajian fonologi bahasa Kerinci serta mendukung pelestarian bahasa daerah melalui dokumentasi ilmiah.Phonemic Exploration of Kerinci Language: A Study on Koto Renah Isolect Kerinci language as one of the regional languages in Sumatra has diverse dialectal variations, including the Koto Renah isolect. This study aims to identify and describe sound types, phoneme forms and their distribution, as well as syllable patterns in the isolect. Data collection was conducted using listening and conversational methods supported by recording and note taking techniques. The obtained oral data were then transcribed phonetically with reference to the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). Subsequently, the data were analyzed through minimal pair tests, complementary distribution tests, and articulatory phonetic matching methods with speech organs as determinants of language sound formation. The results show that the Koto Renah isolect has 37 sounds encompassing vocoids, contoids, and diphthongs. Its phonemic system consists of 31 phonemes, comprising six vocal phonemes: /i/, /e/, /ə/, /a/, /u/, and /o/ with allophone [o~ɔ], /ay/, /aw/, /oa/, /ɔa/, and /ow/ with allophone[əa~ea]; and nineteen consonant phonemes: /p/, /b/, /t/, /d/, /c/, /j/, /k/, /g/, /m/, /n/, /ɲ/, /ŋ/, /l/, /r/, /s/, /w/, /y/, /h/, and /ʔ/. The syllable patterns found in the Koto Renah isolect consist of seven patterns: V, VK, KV, KD, KDK, KVK, and KKDK. This research has implications for strengthening Kerinci language phonological studies and supports the preservation of regional languages through scientific documentation

    Istilah politik populer digunakan sebagai strategi retorika untuk membangun citra politik positif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap makna istilah politik yang populer digunakan pada pemilihan Presiden Indonesia dan bagaimana istilah politik tersebut dikonstruksi  untuk memengaruhi opini publik. Sumber data penelitian ialah media berita online yang dianalisis melalui aplikasi Nvivo 12 Pro. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Analisis Wacana Kritis dengan mengadopsi teori Nourman Fairclough, teori semiotika sosial Van Leeuwen, dan teori Framing Goffman untuk menjelaskan makna istilah politik dan bagaimana istilah politik tersebut dikonstruksi sebagai wacana politik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada 5 istilah politik populer pada pemilihan Presiden Indonesia, seperti gemoy, cawe-cawe, politik identitas, king maker, dan endorsement. Istilah politik tersebut secara umum bermakna sebagai alat narasi politik untuk mendapatkan dukungan publik dalam kontestasi pemilihan Presiden Indonesia. Istilah politik tersebut dikonstruksi  sebagai wacana politik berdasarkan aspek situasional, aspek institusional, dan aspek sosial. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan bagi perkembangan ilmu wacana dan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan literasi politik masyarakat dengan memahami peran bahasa dalam membentuk opini politik.Popular Political Terms in the Indonesian Presidential Election in Online News Media Popular political terms are used as a rhetorical strategy to build a positive political image. This study aims to uncover the meanings of political terms commonly used in the Indonesian Presidential Election and how these terms are constructed to influence public opinion. The data sources for this research are online news media, analyzed using the Nvivo 12 Pro application. This study employs a Critical Discourse Analysis approach, adopting the theories of Norman Fairclough, Van Leeuwen's social semiotics, and Goffman's framing theory to explain the meaning of political terms and how they are constructed as political discourse. The findings of this study show that there are five popular political terms in the Indonesian Presidential Election, such as "gemoy," "cawe-cawe," "political identity," "kingmaker," and "endorsement." These political terms generally function as tools for political narratives to gain public support in the presidential election contest. The political terms are constructed as political discourse based on situational, institutional, and social aspects. This research contributes significantly to the development of discourse studies and is expected to enhance political literacy among the public by understanding the role of language in shaping political opinions

    MENAKAR SYARAT MUFASIR AL-QUR'AN: Menolak Otoritarianisme Perspektif Khaled Abou El-Faḍl

    This article examines Khaled Abou El Faḍl’s thought regarding the qualifications of a Qur’anic interpreter (mufassir). The study aims to understand Abou El Faḍl’s perspective that rejects authoritarian attitudes in interpreting the Qur’an. Using a qualitative method and descriptive-critical analysis through a literature review of his ideas presented in Speaking in God’s Name, the study shows that Abou El-Faḍl opposes all forms of authoritarianism in Qur’anic interpretation. However, he also does not accept completely free or unrestricted interpretations. According to him, certain requirements must be fulfilled by anyone who wants to interpret and understand the meaning of the Qur’an responsibly. This research contributes to the development of Qur’anic and tafsir studies, especially in discussions about interpretive authority and the ethics of the mufassir. Artikel ini mengkaji pemikiran Khaled Abou El-Faḍl terkait syarat-syarat bagi seorang mufasir al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami cara pandang Khaled Abou El-Faḍl yang menolak praktik otoritarianisme dalam penafsiran al-Qur’an. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan analisis deskriptif-kritis melalui kajian literatur (literature review) terhadap pemikirannya yang tertuang dalam karya Speaking in God’s Name, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Khaled Abou El-Faḍl menolak segala bentuk otoritarianisme dalam proses penafsiran al-Qur’an. Meskipun demikian, ia juga tidak menerima penafsiran yang bersifat bebas tanpa batas. Menurutnya, diperlukan syarat-syarat tertentu yang harus dipenuhi oleh seseorang agar dapat menafsirkan dan memahami kandungan al-Qur’an secara bertanggung jawab. Temuan penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan studi al-Qur’an dan tafsir, khususnya dalam kajian tentang otoritas penafsiran dan etika mufasir.

    This study aims to determine the financial management programs implemented at the At-Taqwa Mosque in Southeast Aceh Regency in empowering the community through financial management. The type of research used in this study is qualitative with descriptive qualitative analysis. Types of data collection were carried out using interviewtechniques, observation, documentation, and literature with the research subject of money management at the AT-Taqwa Mosque. The results of the study indicate that the At-Taqwa Mosque not only manages money but also participates in mosque-based community empowerment through the money given. Empowerment is also realized through empowerment programs in the economic field such as productive money, healthy carts and providing training to mustahiq. Good economic empowerment indicates that mustahiq also have good economic quality. This is due to the changing mindset of the community that is increasingly developing about efforts to improve the standard of living to be better than before. Therefore, economic empowerment can improve the welfare, income, and independence of mustahiq. The implication of this research is that Mosque Financial Management is not merely administrative, but has a social impact. Through effective fund management, At-Taqwa Mosque is able to carry out economic empowerment programs that directly address the needs of mustahiq (beneficiaries), thus providing a real impact on the lives of the community.Keywords: Money, Community Empowerment, Mustahiq, Mosque

    The Comparative Analysis of the Legal Implications of Hadhanah in Decision Number 2562/Pdt.G/2023/PA.Sbr and Decision Number 0037/Pdt.G/2016/PA.Bitg in the Perspective of Maqaṣid al-Syari’ah

    This study examines the differences in the determination of custody rights in the Sumber Religious Court decision No. 2562/Pdt.G/2023/PA.Sbr and the decision of the Bitung Religious Court Number 0037/Pdt.G/2016/PA.Bitg, even though both refer to the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI). The divergence arises due to variations in trial facts, the child’s psychological condition, and the religious beliefs of the parties involved. Therefore, an analysis from the perspective of maqāṣid al-sharī’ah is essential to ensure that custody rulings not only adhere to normative provisions but also safeguard the child’s welfare. The main objectives of this research are to analyse the application of custody law in both cases and to compare them within the framework of maqāṣid al-sharī’ah. The research problems addressed are: (1) How was custody law applied in the Sumber and Bitung Religious Court decisions? and (2) How do these decisions differ when examined through the lens of maqāṣid al-sharī’ah? Using a normative juridical method with comparative and case study approaches, data were collected from legislation, Islamic legal scholarship, and official court rulings. Findings reveal that the Sumber Court prioritised maternal attachment and piety, while the Bitung Court prioritised protection of faith by granting custody to the father

    Scientific Authority in Crisis: A Dialogical Reflection between Bruno Latour and Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas in The Post-Truth Era

    ABSTRACT: In this article, the crisis of authority of science in the post-truth era is analyzed in a dialogical reflection between the science studies of Bruno Latour and the Islamic metaphysics of Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas. The context of the investigation is rooted in the challenge of public confidence in science, hoax information, as well as the rising impact of ideology rather than facts in decision-making. This article has a twofold purpose: first, to analyze with a comparative-hermeneutic dialogical approach the works of Latour and al-Attas, considering both philosophical backgrounds despite differences in scholarship, in relation to the challenge of science credibility; second, considering an in-depth review of both Latour’s science studies and al-Attas’ metaphysical thinking in an Islamic context. Articles in refereed journals, books, among other literature sources focusing on science education, science epistemology, as well as literature on Islamic thought, have been used in analyzing information in this article. The results of the analysis have shown commonalities between both Latour’s perspectives and al-Attas’ metaphysical thoughts in relation to a new vision emphasizing the reintegration of science into a metaphysical view. Latour requires a reassembly of science through the agency of a network model of socio-material actors, whereas al-Attas promotes the Islamization of knowledge on the basis of ta’dib and the Islamic worldview. In the conclusion, the current paper finds that there is a potential for a more nuanced and holistic approach through the dialogical encounter between the two models for addressing the problem of the crisis in the legitimation of science.ABSTRAK: Artikel ini mengkaji krisis epistemologis otoritas sains di era post-truth melalui refleksi dialogis antara studi sains Bruno Latour dan metafisika Islam Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah merosotnya kepercayaan publik terhadap sains, maraknya misinformasi (hoax), serta meningkatnya pengaruh narasi ideologis dan emosional dibandingkan bukti empiris. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menelusuri bagaimana Latour dan al-Attas, meskipun berasal dari tradisi filsafat yang sangat berbeda, secara kritis merespons krisis kredibilitas sains dan menawarkan kerangka epistemologis alternatif. Dengan menggunakan metode hermeneutik-dialogis dan komparatif, kajian ini menganalisis karya-karya utama kedua pemikir tersebut yang dikontekstualisasikan melalui literatur kontemporer tentang pendidikan sains, epistemologi, dan pemikiran Islam. Data penelitian diperoleh dari jurnal ilmiah, buku, dan literatur lainnya yang membahas pendidikan sains, krisis post-truth, dan Islamisasi ilmu. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik Latour maupun al-Attas sama-sama mengkritik modernitas dan menekankan pentingnya mengembalikan sains ke dalam kerangka etika dan metafisika yang lebih luas. Latour menyerukan penyusunan ulang sains melalui jaringan aktor sosial-material, sementara al-Attas menggagas Islamisasi ilmu yang berlandaskan pada ta’dib dan pandangan hidup Islam. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa pertemuan dialogis antara kedua kerangka ini dapat menawarkan respons yang lebih kaya dan holistik terhadap krisis legitimasi sains, serta mengarah pada epistemologi yang tidak hanya menekankan pengetahuan, tetapi juga kebijaksanaan dan makna
