Islamic Society dan Problematika Muslim Minoritas di Papua Nugini pada Tahun 1978-2001
As a minority group, Muslims in Papua New Guinea have their own struggles, even just to survive in the midst of Christian domination. This study aims to explain the history of the entry of Islam and the establishment of the Islamic Society of Papua New Guinea (ISPNG) in 1978, describe the problems faced by Muslim minorities, and analyze ISPNG's efforts in solving these problems. The method used is a historical approach through the stages of topic selection, heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. Theories used include theories of minority groups, Islamization, social problems, and social movements. The results showed that Islam has been known since the 16th century, but experienced significant development after ISPNG played an active role in facing discrimination, limited worship facilities, and difficulties in obtaining halal food through various proselytization strategies, building mosques, providing halal food, and collaborating with international networks
KOMUNIKASI PEMASARAN DIGITAL: ANALISIS PROMOSI DAN KEMASAN KONTEN DALAM SELEBRASI HARI KEMERDEKAAN 2025 DI INSTAGRAM (STUDI PADA AKUN INSTAGRAM @JCOINDONESIA)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi komunikasi pemasaran digital yang dilakukan oleh akun Instagram @jcoindonesia dalam menyambut Selebrasi Hari Kemerdekaan Indonesia 2025, dengan fokus pada aspek promosi dan kemasan konten (content packaging). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi (qualitative content analysis) terhadap unggahan berupa feed, Reels, dan Story selama periode 1 – 31 Agustus 2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa J.CO memanfaatkan momen kemerdekaan tidak hanya untuk meningkatkan penjualan melalui promo “Sweet Freedom” dan “Freedom Deals”, tetapi juga membangun kedekatan emosional dengan audiens melalui narasi patriotik, visual merah-putih, dan storytelling. Secara semiotik, elemen-elemen tersebut mencerminkan makna denotatif berupa simbol nasional serta makna konotatif berupa kebanggaan dan persatuan (Barthes, 1977; Hammar & Johansson, 2024). Engagement tertinggi ditemukan pada konten berbentuk Reels karena memadukan visual dinamis, audio tematik, dan call-to-action yang jelas. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa sinergi antara strategi promosi, kemasan konten, dan pemanfaatan momen budaya mampu memperkuat brand awareness, brand image, dan customer engagement. Artinya, keberhasilan kampanye tidak hanya ditentukan oleh penawaran diskon, tetapi juga oleh kemampuan merek membangun makna, emosi, dan identitas budaya dalam ruang digital
Integration of Transformational Skills and Digital Literacy in AI-Driven Hybrid Learning
This study aims to analyze the integration of transformational skills and digital literacy as a strategy for developing human resources (HR) among university students in the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and hybrid learning. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving lecturers, students, and university management. The results show that transformational skills play a role in shaping students’ character to be independent, adaptive, and visionary, while digital literacy enhances technological competence to support the learning process and readiness for a technology-based workforce. Although digital facilities on campus are adequate, their utilization remains suboptimal due to limitations in devices, internet access, and training. The integration of these two aspects serves as a strategic step in creating excellent, creative, and globally competitive students. Educational institutions play a crucial role through the strengthening of digital curriculum policies, the provision of cyber laboratories, and technology training. Thus, the synergy between transformational skills and digital literacy becomes the main foundation in shaping adaptive and competitive student human resources in the era of artificial intelligence. Child-Friendly School Management in Improving Children's Welfare at RA Nurul Falah
An exploration of the application of child-friendly school management in improving children's welfare at RA Nurul Falah, using a qualitative narrative method. This research prioritizes a humanist perspective by collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation. A child-friendly school is a concept that emphasizes a safe, fun, and supportive learning environment that supports children's holistic development, both physically, emotionally, and socially. At RA Nurul Falah, inclusive and participatory management is implemented, involving parents, teachers, and the community in the decision-making process. The results of the study show that the improvement of children's welfare can be seen from several aspects, including increased self-confidence, discipline, and children's involvement in various stimulating learning activities. Narratives from parents and teachers revealed significant changes in children's behavior, such as being more open and actively participating in group activities. This is supported by a curriculum that prioritizes the values of character education and child-centered teaching. In addition, healthy environmental factors and decent infrastructure also contribute to creating a conducive learning atmosphere. However, challenges remain, such as the need for ongoing training for educators and limited resources. These findings recommend the need for collaboration from all relevant parties to create sustainable policies and efforts to develop teacher capacity so that child-friendly education can be implemented optimally. In conclusion, the management of child-friendly schools at RA Nurul Falah not only has a positive impact on children's welfare, but also builds a foundation for better child development in the futureKeywords:Child-Friendly, School management, Children’s Welfar
Analysis of the Development of Language Skills of Children Aged 4-5 Years using the Read Aloud Method
The development of language skills in early childhood is very important to prepare them for the challenges of further education. One effective method to develop children's language skills is the Read Aloud Method. This research was conducted at PAUD OI Balu to analyze the extent to which the application of the Read Aloud Method can affect the development of children's language skills aged 4-5 years. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. Data collection techniques were conducted through direct observation, interviews with teachers, and documentation of learning activities in the classroom. Data sources in this study consisted of teachers who teach at PAUD OI Balu and 20 students aged 4-5 years who were involved in Read Aloud sessions. The research procedure involved observation of story reading activities, question and answer, group discussion, use of picture books and dramatization techniques applied by the teacher. The data analysis technique used was thematic analysis, in which the researcher identified patterns of children's language development based on the results of observations and interviews. The results showed that the Read Aloud Method had a positive effect on the development of children's language skills. A total of 60% of students showed good development in vocabulary, speaking ability, and story comprehension. Meanwhile, 25% of students were in the moderate development category, and 15% of students needed more intensive assistance to improve their language skills.
Implementation of Game Based Learning Model to Improve Students' Speaking Skills in Indonesian Subjects at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah
This research is motivated by a problem regarding the low speaking skills of students in the learning process in Indonesian subjects in class IV-C MIN 2 Bandung City. The objectives are (1) to find out students' speaking skills before applying the Game Based Learning learning model in Indonesian subjects in class IV-C MI Negeri 2 Bandung City, (2) to find out the process of applying the Game Based Learning learning model in improving students' speaking skills in Indonesian subjects in class IV-C MI Negeri 2 Bandung City in each cycle and (3) to find out speaking skills students after applying the Game Based Learning learning model in Indonesian subjects in class IV-C MI Negeri 2 Bandung City at the end of the cycle. Using the Mixed Method approach, the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method is carried out in two cycles. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in speaking skills in each cycle. In the pre-cycle, classical completeness only reached 52% with an average of 62.59. After the action was taken, the results increased with classical completeness of 67% with an average score of 72.04 in cycle 1. Then it increased again in cycle 2 with classical completeness reaching 85% with an average score of 77.41. Thus, it can be concluded that the Game Based Learning learning model can improve students' speaking skills in Indonesian subjects in grades IV-C MIN 2 Bandung City. Teaching Mahārat al-Kitābah through Imlā’, Inshā’, and Problem-Based Learning: A Study at Madrasah Aliyah
This study aims to comparatively analyze the Imla’, Insya’, and Problem Based Learning (PBL) methods in teaching mahārah kitābah at the Madrasah Aliyah level. Arabic writing skills remain one of the most challenging competencies for students due to linguistic complexity, limited instructional time, and the dominance of traditional teaching approaches. This research employed a qualitative library research design by examining books and recent scholarly journal articles relevant to Arabic writing pedagogy. Data were collected through documentation techniques and analyzed using thematic comparative analysis focusing on instructional characteristics, strengths, weaknesses, and contextual implementation of each method. The findings reveal that the Imla’ method is effective in improving orthographic accuracy and reducing writing errors, Insya’ particularly guided composition enhances students’ expressive ability and sentence structure, while PBL promotes critical thinking, collaboration, and contextual writing competence. However, each method also presents limitations when applied independently. Therefore, this study concludes that an integrative instructional approach combining Imla’, Insya’, and PBL is the most relevant strategy for improving Arabic writing skills in Madrasah Aliyah. The results contribute both theoretically to Arabic language teaching methodology and practically for teachers in designing adaptive and effective writing instruction.Key words: Arabic writing skills; Imla’; Insya’; Problem Based LearningPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara komparatif metode Imla’, Insya’, dan Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam pembelajaran mahārah kitābah di Madrasah Aliyah. Keterampilan menulis bahasa Arab masih menjadi kompetensi yang sulit dikuasai siswa karena kompleksitas linguistik, keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran, serta dominasi metode tradisional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi pustaka, melalui telaah terhadap buku dan artikel jurnal ilmiah terbaru yang relevan dengan pembelajaran kitābah. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis tematik komparatif berdasarkan karakteristik, kelebihan, kelemahan, dan konteks penerapan masing-masing metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Imla’ efektif dalam meningkatkan ketepatan ejaan dan meminimalkan kesalahan tulis, metode Insya’ khususnya Insya’ Muwajjah mampu mengembangkan ekspresi ide dan struktur kalimat, sementara PBL mendorong keterampilan berpikir kritis, kolaborasi, dan penulisan kontekstual. Namun, setiap metode memiliki keterbatasan jika diterapkan secara terpisah. The functions and varieties of interrogative sentences (istifhām) from the perspective of ma‘ānī
Artikel ini membahas fungsi dan ragam kalimat istifhām (kalimat tanya) dalam perspektif ilmu ma‘ānī sebagai salah satu cabang utama ilmu balaghah. Kalimat istifhām pada umumnya dipahami sebagai sarana untuk memperoleh informasi, namun dalam kajian ilmu ma‘ānī, istifhām juga memiliki beragam fungsi retoris yang melampaui makna literalnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan kedudukan kalimat istifhām dalam ilmu ma‘ānī, mengidentifikasi alat dan bentuk istifhām dalam bahasa Arab, menganalisis fungsi-fungsi retorisnya, serta menunjukkan penerapannya dalam teks-teks Arab klasik, khususnya Al-Qur’an dan puisi klasik. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kalimat istifhām tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pertanyaan informatif, tetapi juga sebagai perangkat retoris yang mengandung makna penegasan (taqrīr), celaan (taubīkh), pengagungan (ta‘ẓīm), peremehan (taḥqīr), keheranan (ta‘jīb), perintah (amr), larangan (nahy), dan harapan yang mustahil (tamannī). Fungsi-fungsi tersebut menunjukkan kekayaan pragmatik dan stilistika bahasa Arab. Tren Menunda Pernikahan Pada Perempuan Generasi Z: Analisis Bibliometrik
Pernikahan seharusnya menjadi tugas perkembangan dalam kehidupan seorang individu di masa dewasa, termasuk pada individu perempuan. Namun, kompleksitas kehidupan perempuan dewasa di perkembangan zaman sekarang dan karakteristiknya sebagai generasi Z yang memandang pernikahan sebagai pilihan opsional bukan lagi sebagai keharusan meningkatkan kemungkinan pengambilan keputusan untuk menunda pernikahan pada populasi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi tren penundaan pernikahan pada perempuan generasi Z. Metode bibliometrik digunakan untuk menganalisis literatur terbaru terkait penelitian penundaan pernikahan pada perempuan generasi Z. Penelusuran literatur dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi Publish or Perish pada database akademik Google Scholar terkait penelitian pada lima tahun terakhir, yakni dari tahun 2020 sampai 2025 dengan kata kunci marriage postponement in generation Z women, marriage delay in generation Z women, dan waithood in generation Z women. Analisis data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan analisis jalur yang menggunakan aplikasi bibliometrik VOSviewer. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa node dengan ukurang yang mendominasi "generation", "waithood", dan "young woman" menjadi topik yang sangat berkaitan dan sering diteliti pada penelitian terkait penundaan pernikahan dan menjadi perhatian utama oleh para peneliti. Hal tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa tren penundaan pernikahan telah terjadi di setiap generasi, termasuk di kalangan perempuan muda dengan berbagai faktor yang melatarbelakangi keputusannya menunda pernikahan
Teachers' Perspectives in Arabic Education: A Narrative Inquiry from Pesantren Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah
Purpose – This study examines how Arabic language teachers at Pesantren Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah implement the Direct Method, focusing on their instructional strategies and the challenges they encounter. Design/methods/approach – Using a narrative inquiry approach grounded in Clandinin and Connelly’s framework, data were collected through unstructured narrative interviews with ten teachers (2–5 years’ experience), supported by observations and field notes. The narratives were thematically analyzed while preserving the authenticity of teachers’ voices. Findings – The results show that teachers employ a context-responsive hybrid Direct Method, combining full Arabic instruction with selective translation, peer clarification, embodied demonstration, teaching aids, and outdoor activities. Challenges include spelling accuracy, differing literacy backgrounds, large class sizes, and fluctuating student attention. Teachers respond through individualized support, repetitive drills, collaboration with senior tutors, and adaptive code-switching. Research implications – The study contributes the concept of a Pesantren-Based Hybrid Direct Method and highlights the value of narrative inquiry in uncovering teachers’ lived pedagogical reasoning. It recommends strengthening teacher training, improving media availability, and aligning assessment with oral–written balance.الهدف - يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة كيفية توظيف معلّمات اللغة العربية في معهد الروضة الحسنة للتربية الإسلامية بميدان لطريقة التدريس المباشرة، مع التركيز على إستراتيجياتهن التعليمية والتحديات التي يواجهنها. المنهج والمدخل والتصميم - استخدم البحث منهج الاستقصاء القصصي بالاعتماد على إطار كلاندينين وكونلي، حيث جُمعت البيانات عبر مقابلات سردية غير مقيَّدة مع عشر معلّمات يمتلكن خبرة تدريس تتراوح بين سنتين وخمس سنوات، إضافة إلى الملاحظات الميدانية. وحُلّلت السرديات موضوعيًا مع الحفاظ على أصالة صوت المبحوثات. النتائج - أظهرت النتائج أن المعلّمات يطبّقن صيغة هجينة من الطريقة المباشرة تجمع بين استخدام العربية الكاملة والترجمة الانتقائية، والتوضيح بين الطالبات، والتعليم الجسدي، والوسائل التعليمية، والأنشطة خارج الصف. وتتمثّل التحديات في ضعف الإملاء، وتباين الخلفيات القرائية، وكِبَرحجم الفصول، وتشتّت الانتباه. وقد واجهن هذه التحديات عبر الدعم الفردي، والتدريبات المتكررة، والتعاون مع المدرّسات الخبيرات، واستخدام التحويل اللغوي عند الحاجة. الآثار - يقدّم البحث إسهامًا مفاهيميًا يتمثّل في إبراز الطريقة المباشرة الهجينة في سياق المعهد، ويؤكد فاعلية المنهج السردي في الكشف عن منطق الممارسة لدى المعلّمات. وتوصي النتائج بتطوير برامج تدريب معلّمات اللغة العربية، وتوفير وسائل تعليمية أكثر تنوّعًا، ومواءمة أدوات التقييم بين المهارات الشفوية والكتابية
