The Impact of Self-Regulated Learning on the Effectiveness of Digital Learning: A Study on Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Students
AbstractThis study aims to examine the effect of self-regulated learning on the effectiveness of digital learning in fifth-grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Pembangunan Jakarta, Indonesia. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey design and a total sampling technique, which involves 67 fifth-grade students as respondents. Data were collected through a validated Likert scale questionnaire designed to measure self-learning variables and the use of digital learning. Simple linear regression testing was implemented to verify the research hypothesis and identify interconnections among variables. Study findings indicate the presence of a meaningful positive impact between self-directed learning and the effectiveness of digital learning, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.366, indicating that 36.6% of the variance in the use of digital learning can be explained by self-regulated learning abilities, while the remaining 63.4% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. This study concludes that self-regulated learning is an important factor in increasing the effectiveness of digital learning implementation in elementary madrasah students. These findings indicate the importance of developing pedagogical strategies that foster students' self-regulation skills to optimize the integration of digital technology in education environments, especially in madrasah ibtidaiyah.Keywords: digital learning, effectiveness, self regulated learning.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pembelajaran mandiri terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran digital pada siswa kelas V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Pembangunan Jakarta, Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei dan teknik total sampling yang melibatkan 67 siswa kelas V (lima) sebagai responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner skala Likert yang telah divalidasi dan dirancang untuk mengukur pembelajaran mandiri dan penggunaan pembelajaran digital. Pengujian regresi linear sederhana diimplementasikan untuk memverifikasi hipotesis riset dan mengidentifikasi keterkaitan antar variabel. Temuan studi mengindikasikan terdapatnya dampak positif yang bermakna antara pembelajaran mandiri dengan efektivitas pembelajaran digital, dengan koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,366, yang menunjukkan bahwa 36,6% varians penggunaan pembelajaran digital dapat dijelaskan oleh kemampuan pembelajaran mandiri, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 63,4% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran mandiri merupakan faktor penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran digital pada siswa madrasah ibtidaiyah. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya mengembangkan strategi pedagogis yang menumbuhkan keterampilan pengaturan diri siswa untuk mengoptimalkan integrasi teknologi digital dalam lingkungan pendidikan, khsususnya di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.Kata kunci: pembelajaran digital, efektivitas, self regulated learning
Nada dan Kata yang Merangkul: Bahasa Inklusif dalam Lagu PAUD
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis representasi bahasa inklusif dalam lirik lagu anak yang digunakan di Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD). Lagu anak merupakan media pembelajaran yang penting dalam membentuk sikap sosial dan karakter anak sejak dini. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan teknik analisis tematik, penelitian ini mengkaji konten lirik dari sejumlah lagu anak populer yang digunakan secara luas di lingkungan PAUD. Lima tema utama yang diidentifikasi dalam analisis meliputi: keberagaman fisik dan budaya, kesetaraan dalam aktivitas, penerimaan terhadap anak berkebutuhan khusus, penggunaan bahasa positif dan ramah, serta pesan anti-diskriminasi dan anti-stereotip. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian lagu telah mengandung nilai-nilai inklusif, namun masih terdapat kekurangan dalam representasi eksplisit terhadap keberagaman dan penerimaan sosial. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan lagu anak yang secara sadar mengintegrasikan bahasa inklusif, serta pelatihan guru PAUD dalam memilih dan menggunakan lagu sebagai strategi membangun lingkungan belajar yang adil, empatik, dan ramah anak
Pop-Up Book Budaya Madura untuk Meningkatkan Berpikir Kritis Anak Usia Dini
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan media Pop-Up Book berbasis budaya Madura dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis anak usia dini. Latar belakang penelitian didasari pada pentingnya stimulasi berpikir kritis sejak masa golden age, di mana anak perlu dilatih untuk bertanya, memberi alasan, membandingkan, dan mengambil keputusan sederhana. Media Pop-Up Book dipilih karena memiliki tampilan tiga dimensi yang interaktif, menyenangkan, serta mampu memperkaya pengalaman belajar anak melalui pengenalan unsur budaya lokal. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek anak kelompok B2 di PAUD Melati. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara guru, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan model Miles & Huberman melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pop-Up Book budaya Madura mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif anak dalam pembelajaran. Anak terlihat antusias, berani mengajukan pertanyaan, memberi alasan sederhana, membandingkan budaya Madura dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, serta menarik kesimpulan dari isi cerita. Guru juga menilai Pop-Up Book lebih efektif dibandingkan media visual datar karena menghadirkan pengalaman belajar yang nyata sekaligus mendekatkan anak dengan budaya lokal.Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah media Pop-Up Book berbasis budaya Madura terbukti efektif menstimulasi kemampuan berpikir kritis anak usia dini sekaligus menanamkan nilai budaya lokal. Dengan demikian, Pop-Up Book dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran inovatif, interaktif, dan kontekstual dalam pendidikan anak usia dini.Kata kunci: Pop-Up Book, budaya Madura, berpikir kritis, anak usia dini
Refleksi Humanisme dalam Perspektif Erich Fromm berbasis Penelitian Pengembangan Modul Ajar Pendidikan Nilai dan Karakter Berbantuan Artificial Intelligence
ABSTRAK: Perkembangan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam pendidikan menghadirkan peluang sekaligus tantangan bagi pendidikan nilai dan karakter. Artikel ini bertujuan merefleksikan penggunaan AI dalam pendidikan nilai dari perspektif humanisme Erich Fromm dengan berpijak pada hasil penelitian pengembangan modul pembelajaran berbasis AI pada mata kuliah Teori Pendidikan Nilai dan Karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pijakan penelitian dan pengembangan terdahulu yang menerapkan metode Research and Development (R&D) melalui model Educational Design Research (EDR). Data empiris dianalisis melalui refleksi filosofis dengan menggunakan konsep being, having, dan automaton conformity dari Erich Fromm. Hasil refleksi menunjukkan bahwa AI tidak bersifat dehumanisasi apabila digunakan sebagai medium reflektif dan dialogis, bukan sebagai pengganti peran pendidik. Sebaliknya, AI dapat memperkuat proses pemaknaan nilai, kesadaran diri, dan tanggung jawab moral peserta didik ketika diintegrasikan dalam kerangka pedagogi humanistik. Artikel ini juga menegaskan bahwa peran pendidik tetap sentral sebagai subjek pedagogis dan penjaga orientasi nilai, sementara AI berfungsi sebagai mitra pedagogis yang mendukung pembelajaran reflektif. Secara teoretis, artikel ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan kajian filsafat pendidikan dengan menawarkan kerangka humanisme reflektif sebagai dasar etis penggunaan AI dalam pendidikan nilai dan karakter di era digital.ABSTRACT: The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education presents both opportunities and challenges for value and character education. This article aims to reflect on the use of AI in value education from the perspective of Erich Fromm’s humanism, grounded in the results of developmental research on an AI-based learning module implemented in the Theory of Value and Character Education course. The study adopts a qualitative approach, drawing upon prior Research and Development (R&D) employing the Educational Design Research (EDR) model. Empirical data are examined through a philosophical reflection using Erich Fromm’s concepts of being, having, and automaton conformity. The reflection reveals that AI is not inherently dehumanizing when positioned as a reflective and dialogical medium rather than as a substitute for educators. Instead, AI can enhance the process of value formation, self-awareness, and moral responsibility when integrated within a humanistic pedagogical framework. The article further emphasizes that educators remain central as pedagogical subjects and guardians of value orientation, while AI functions as a pedagogical partner that supports reflective learning. Theoretically, this study contributes to the field of philosophy of education by proposing a reflective humanistic framework as an ethical foundation for the use of AI in value and character education in the digital era
Legal Maxims in Sharia Economic Law: Epistemology and Methodological Roles of Qawāʿid al-Fiqhiyyah
Abstract The rapid development of the Islamic economic system in Indonesia has highlighted the urgency of a solid legal framework, particularly through the application of Islamic legal maxims (Qawāʿid al-Fiqhiyyah). This study aims to analyze the concept, epistemology, and implementation of legal maxims within Sharia economic law. Using a qualitative descriptive approach through library research and normative juridical analysis, the study examines primary sources such as the Qur’an, Sunnah, juristic consensus, and classical as well as contemporary scholarly works. The findings reveal that Qawāʿid al-Fiqhiyyah function as an epistemic tool that bridges normative texts and contemporary economic practices, offering methodological flexibility to address modern financial transactions. The discussion demonstrates their practical application in Islamic financial contracts, fatwa formulation by the National Sharia Council (DSN-MUI), and judicial considerations in Sharia Economic Courts. This study concludes that legal maxims are not merely theoretical constructs but a vital epistemological foundation for developing adaptive, contextual, and solution-oriented Sharia economic law in line with maqāṣid al-sharīʿah. Innovative Human Resource Development Strategies in Education Digital Transformation
The advancement of digital technology has brought significant changes to the education system, requiring institutions to fully integrate technological innovations into teaching processes and school management. This article aims to examine innovative strategies in the development of human resources (HR) in education during the digital transformation era through a scoping review method. Literature from various national and international journals (2021–2025) was analyzed to map practices, challenges, and strategies for developing adaptive and competitive educational HR. The findings indicate that innovative strategies include strengthening educators’ digital and pedagogical competencies, utilizing smart technologies such as e-learning, Learning Management Systems (LMS), webinars, as well as AI applications and VR/AR simulations, and fostering a collaborative and adaptive work culture through continuous training. This digital transformation enhances administrative efficiency, internal coordination, learning quality, and 21st-century competencies such as creativity, adaptability, critical thinking, and collaboration. However, implementing these strategies faces multidimensional challenges, including low digital literacy, limited infrastructure, resistance to change, disparities in technology-based pedagogical competencies, and data security risks. This study emphasizes that the development of educational HR in the era of disruption and Society 5.0 requires a systemic approach that combines individual competency enhancement, organizational culture strengthening, adaptive managerial policies, and optimal utilization of smart technologies. The findings provide insights for educational institutions to design innovative, sustainable HR strategies capable of addressing the complexities of 21st-century education
Reimagining Qur’anic Pedagogy:Nadlariyah Maudu’iyah as a Methodological Innovation in Tafsir Tarbawi with Application to Child Education Themes
AbstractThe surging scholarly interest in tafsīr mawḍūʿī (thematic exegesis) for educational (tarbawī) understanding of the Qur’an, particularly in Indonesia, currently lacks a robust methodological foundation. This study addresses this critical gap by introducing and critically establishing nadhariyyah mawḍūʿiyah (thematic theoretical framework) as a systematic hermeneutical approach tailored for educational interpretation. The research investigates its epistemological significance, proposes a definitive procedural model, and demonstrates its application to the Qur’anic theme of “Mauqifu al-Awlād wa Ṭarīqatu al-Ḥiwār Ma‘ahum” (The Qur’anic Stance Toward Children and the Method of Dialogue with Them). Employing a qualitative library-based methodology enriched by historical contextualization, Hegelian dialectics, and Popperian falsification, the study yields two primary findings. Firstly, nadhariyyah mawḍūʿiyah enables a holistic, context-sensitive interpretation that significantly enhances pedagogical relevance. Secondly, a five-stage procedural model is proposed: (i) theme identification, (ii) verse compilation, (iii) semantic validation, (iv) conceptual modeling, and (v) systematic synthesis. Applied to child education, the analysis uncovers the Qur’an’s dual portrayal of children as spiritual tests and opportunities for growth, advocating for a dialogic pedagogy grounded in affection, epistemic respect, and spiritual nurturing, which fosters moral development and emotional intimacy. This research establishes a novel methodological framework for Qur’anic hermeneutics and Islamic educational theory, offering significant implications for curriculum design, parenting discourse, and the overall rigor of tafsīr tarbawī scholarship. Integrating Artificial Intelligence into Islamic Religious Education: Toward a Model for Ethical and Values-Based Technology Adoption in Faith-Based Schools
This study investigates the perceptions, challenges, and opportunities of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMA IT Mentari Ilmu Karawang, a faith-based secondary school. While grounded in this specific institutional context, the findings are framed to provide transferable insights for similar Islamic-oriented institutions, serving as both a localized case and a reference for broader models of ethical and values-based AI adoption. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with PAI teachers, the vice principal, and the school principal. The results indicate that AI is appreciated for supporting personalized, inclusive, and efficient learning, yet it cannot replace the teacher’s role in moral and spiritual formation. Challenges include ethical concerns, limited infrastructure, and the absence of Islamic contextualized regulations, while opportunities involve curriculum innovation, workload reduction, and adaptive instruction. Theoretically, this study advances the conceptualization of AI in values-based education within the discourse of Islamic Religious Education. Practically, it proposes a transferable framework for ethical and transformative AI adoption, guiding schools, teachers, and policymakers to align technology use with Islamic ethical principles. The Impact of the School Social Environment on the Formation of Islamic Character of Students at SD Negeri 2 Pegulon
This study aims to analyze the influence of the school's social environment on the formation of Islamic character among elementary school students. The Islamic character in question includes values such as religiosity, honesty, discipline, and responsibility. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with participants consisting of an Islamic Education (PAI) teacher, a fourth-grade homeroom teacher, and three fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Pegulon. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the school's social environment significantly contributes to the development of students' Islamic character through teacher role modeling, religious routines such as congregational prayer, and positive peer interactions. However, character development also faces challenges from external factors such as inconsistent family environments and peer influences outside school that do not align with Islamic values. In conclusion, strong collaboration between schools, teachers, parents, and the broader social environment is essential to creating a conducive atmosphere for the holistic and sustainable internalization of Islamic values.Keywords: Social environment, Islamic character, Elementary School, Islamic education, Social interactio
Literature Analysis of Arabic Language Evaluation Instrument Strategies and Designs in the Context of CBT
The development of digital technology encourages innovation in learning evaluation systems, including in Arabic language subjects. The use of Computer Based Test (CBT) is considered more efficient, adaptive, and in accordance with the needs of the times. However, CBT-based Arabic language evaluation instruments still face challenges in their design and implementation strategies, especially in accommodating the four language skills of the language as a whole. This study aims to analyze the strategy and design of CBT-based Arabic language evaluation instruments through a systematic literature review. The study reviewed a number of national and international scientific articles in the last decade relevant to the topic. The results of the analysis show that most instruments are still focused on receptive skills with limited question formats, and have not fully met the principles of validity and fairness of digital access. This study recommends the development of instruments based on constructive alignment, interactive media integration, and authentic assessment. The findings are expected to be theoretical and practical in improving the quality of CBT-based Arabic learning evaluation.
