Family Communication and Coping Strategies on Soldier Children’s Independence: A Maqasid Al-Shariah Perspective
Full text linkThe dynamics of military families, characterized by high mobility and father absence due to operational duties, pose unique challenges to child development. This study aims to analyze the influence of family communication and coping strategies on the independence of soldiers’ children, viewed through the lens of Maqāṣid al-Sharī’ah. Using a mixed-method explanatory sequential design, quantitative data were collected from 200 respondents in the Kodam III/Siliwangi battalion, followed by in-depth interviews with selected informants. The results indicate that family communication and coping strategies significantly influence children’s independence, explaining 75.5% of the variance. The study theoretically contributes to Islamic Family Law by reframing psychological resilience as a spiritual necessity: effective communication is hifz al-nafs (preservation of the soul). At the same time, adaptive coping strategies manifest as hifz al-din (preservation of religion) and hifz al-nasl (preservation of progeny). Practically, these findings urge military institutions to integrate spirituality-based counseling into family support programs
Korupsi sebagai Kegagalan Moral: Tinjauan Etika Deontologis Immanuel Kant
Full text linkABSTRAK: Fokus penelitian ini adalah membahas korupsi sebagai persoalan moral yang mendalam, bukan semata-mata sebagai pelanggaran hukum atau penyimpangan administratif. Melalui pendekatan etika deontologis Immanuel Kant, korupsi dianalisis sebagai tindakan yang bertentangan dengan prinsip kewajiban moral dan hukum moral universal. Dalam pandangan Kant, tindakan dianggap bermoral apabila dilakukan berdasarkan niat baik dan ketaatan terhadap prinsip yang dapat dijadikan hukum universal. Oleh karena itu, korupsi dipahami sebagai bentuk kegagalan moral karena dilakukan demi kepentingan pribadi dan mengabaikan tanggung jawab etis terhadap sesama dan masyarakat luas. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam melakukan penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka dengan menelaah literatur filsafat moral yang secara khusus membahas pemikiran etika deontologis Immanuel Kant dan referensi terkait korupsi sebagai fenomena sosial. Pembacaan kritis atas literatur-literatur ini dibahas secara terperinci dalam artikel ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penanggulangan korupsi membutuhkan pendekatan yang tidak hanya bersifat struktural dan hukum, tetapi juga penguatan kesadaran moral individu berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip etika universal Kantian. ABSTRACT: The focus of this study is to examine corruption as a profound moral issue, not merely as a legal violation or administrative misconduct. Through the deontological ethical approach of Immanuel Kant, corruption is analyzed as an act that contradicts the principles of moral duty and universal moral law. According to Kant, an action is considered moral if it is carried out based on good will and adherence to principles that can be universally applied as law. Therefore, corruption is understood as a form of moral failure, as it is driven by personal interests and neglects ethical responsibilities toward others and the broader society. The methodology used in this research is a literature study by reviewing philosophical texts on moral ethics, particularly those discussing Immanuel Kant’s deontological thought, as well as references related to corruption as a social phenomenon. A critical reading of these literatures is discussed in detail in this article. The findings of this study indicate that efforts to eradicate corruption require not only structural and legal approaches, but also the strengthening of individual moral awareness based on Kantian universal ethical principles
Legal Political on Worker Protection in The Provision of Religious Holiday Allowances
Full text linkThe Religious Holiday Allowance (THR) represents a normative right that employers are legally obligated to fulfill as part of fair labor practices. Nevertheless, violations and legal ambiguities persist, particularly following the enactment of Law Number 11 of 2020 on Job Creation, which altered the structure of labor protection in Indonesia. This study employs a doctrinal (normative juridical) research method, combining statutory and conceptual approaches, supported by a comparative analysis of Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and the Netherlands to examine convergences and divergences in THR regulation. Data were drawn from primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials and analyzed descriptively and analytically. The results show that Indonesian law, especially the Job Creation Law, does not explicitly regulate THR but delegates it to subordinate instruments such as Government Regulation No. 36 of 2021 and Ministerial Regulation No. 6 of 2016, resulting in weak legal protection and the absence of criminal sanctions for non-compliance. In contrast, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia apply policy-based holiday bonuses grounded in administrative and cultural frameworks, while the Netherlands integrates holiday pay into its statutory wage system (vakantiegeld), ensuring stronger legal certainty. The legal-political analysis highlights a continuing tension between worker protection and employer flexibility within Indonesia’s investment-oriented legal reforms. Strengthening THR governance through clearer statutory mandates and enforceable sanctions is essential to reaffirm THR as a constitutional right consistent with the 1945 Constitution and ILO standards.Keywords: legal politics; worker protection; religious holiday allowance; Job Creation Law; comparative law
Islamic Law Analysis of Nazir Roles in Managing Waqf Assets in Indonesia
Full text linkWaqf governance in Indonesia has a strong legal basis, yet many waqf assets remain underutilized because nazir performance often stays administrative rather than welfare-oriented. This study examines the normative–empirical gap between Islamic legal expectations for nazir and actual waqf management practices in Lampung Province. The study applies a qualitative juridical-empirical approach, integrating Islamic law and Indonesia’s waqf legal framework with field evidence. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews with key stakeholders (BWI Lampung, the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, and a nazir from PW Muhammadiyah Lampung) and supported by institutional documents. Nazir practice generally fulfills basic custodial functions and conventional utilization (religious and educational purposes) but remains conservative, with limited productive development. Persistent weaknesses appear in incomplete certification, fragmented documentation, weak reporting routines, and the largely formal use of SIWAK, which constrain transparency, accountability, and legal certainty. These patterns indicate that compliance is often minimal-formal and does not yet reflect Islamic governance values emphasizing amānah, mas’ūliyyah, and benefit maximization (maqāṣid al-waqf). Strengthening nazir capacity, reporting standards, and governance supervision is essential to unlock waqf’s socio-economic potential.Keywords: waqf governance; nazir; Islamic law; SIWAK; Lampung Provinc
TRANSFORMASI DAKWAH: KONTEN DIGITAL DAKWAH PADA INSTAGRAM SEBAGAI RUANG KOMUNIKASI RELIGIUS
Full text linkPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena dakwah digital di platform Instagram sebagai representasi Islam melalui komunikasi digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis konten terhadap unggahan dakwah dari akun @pemuda_hijrah_org selama periode Januari–September 2025. Analisis difokuskan pada konstruksi pesan dakwah, strategi komunikasi visual, dan bentuk interaksi audiens. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dakwah digital di Instagram memadukan unsur-unsur spiritual melalui estetika visual dan pemanfaatan algoritma untuk menjangkau khalayak yang luas. Fenomena ini menandai pergeseran otoritas keagamaan dari lembaga formal ke dakwah keagamaan digital. Lebih lanjut, ditemukan dialektika, di mana pesan-pesan keagamaan dikemas dengan tetap mempertahankan makna Islam. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa dakwah digital di Instagram bukan hanya sebagai bentuk komunikasi keagamaan, tetapi juga memperluas ruang publik Islam dalam ekosistem digital global
KOMUNIKASI PEMASARAN WISATA BUDAYA: STUDI ATAS TRADISI PERANG OBOR BERBASIS STROYNOMIC DAN CULTURAL IMMERSION DALAM MENINGKATKAN WISATAWAN
Full text linkStudi tentang komunikasi pemasaran pariwisata tidak lagi terbatas pada keindahan alam semata, tetapi berkembang menuju kekayaan sosial-budaya yang diwarisi dan dijaga oleh komunitas lokal. Keberagaman tradisi, nilai, dan ekspresi budaya merupakan daya tarik unik sekaligus sarana komunikasi sosial dan spiritual. Penelitian ini berfokus pada Perang Obor di Desa Tegalsambi, Jepara, sebagai bentuk pariwisata budaya yang mewakili ungkapan rasa syukur dan harmoni dalam hubungan antara manusia dan Tuhan, mencerminkan nilai-nilai toleransi, penghormatan, dan keseimbangan hidup. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis desain strategi komunikasi pemasaran Perang Obor berdasarkan imersi budaya dan pariwisata storynomic sebagai upaya untuk memperkuat daya tarik pariwisata dan meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi budaya. Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam semi-terstruktur dengan tokoh desa, pejabat pemerintah, dan wisatawan, yang diperkuat dengan observasi lapangan dan studi literatur sebagai data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi komunikasi pemasaran berbasis pariwisata storynomic tampaknya efektif melalui eksplorasi narasi sejarah dan makna filosofis tradisi Perang Obor, yang kemudian diimplementasikan melalui media komunikasi pemasaran, kolaborasi antar pemangku kepentingan, dan inovasi pesan. Namun, strategi berbasis imersi budaya belum sepenuhnya diterapkan pada seluruh rangkaian ritual utama untuk menjaga kesucian tradisi. Meskipun demikian, wisatawan masih dapat berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan pendukung seperti pembuatan obor, kegiatan ziarah, pasar kermes UMKM, dan karnaval budaya. Strategic School Leadership in Religiously Based Teacher Development
Full text linkTeachers are the most important element in the world of education and are inseparable from the transformation of knowledge. Permata Bunda I and II Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools have teachers and educators with diverse educational backgrounds. Some teachers graduated from religious-based universities, while others graduated from public universities. Permata Bunda I and II Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools in Bandar Lampung have a vision and mission, one of which is religious character. It is important for teachers and educators to have religious character. In this study, the author wants to understand the role of the principal in managing human resources, namely teachers and educators, so that each individual teacher and educator has a religious character that is very important in the learning process. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation at Permata Bunda I and II Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools, Bandar Lampung, involving the principal, vice principal, administration department and teachers who are considered able to provide information. The novelty of this study is the religious character development implemented by the principal of Permata Bunda I and II Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools in Bandar Lampung as a consequence of fulfilling the educational institution's vision and mission. Efforts to increase individual teacher capacity include memorization, improvements in Quranic recitation rules, and daily sunnah practices
Growing Educators from Within: Human Resourse Strategy in Pesantren Leadership Development
Full text linkThis study aims to analyze the impact of human resource management (HRM) strategies on the development of santri cadres as educators at Pondok Pesantren An-Nida. The research focuses on teacher planning, competency development, character formation, and performance evaluation. Using a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, the findings show that systematically implemented HRM strategies enhance the santri’s pedagogical competence, discipline, leadership qualities, communication skills, and sense of responsibility. Institutionally, these strategies support sustainable internal teacher regeneration and maintain educational quality at Pondok Pesantren An-Nida. This study concludes that value-based and professional HRM practices are essential for the successful cadre formation of future educators within the pesantren environment. The Impact of Educational Games on Learning:Systematic Review of Literature and Field Studies
Full text linkEducational games in learning have a high interest among students, stimulating motivation and student involvement. This research aims to provide a summary of empirical findings from the latest literature in the field of gamification, which is currently developing in the learning domain. The study also uncovers cutting-edge scientific evidence on the development of emerging learning technologies and gamification plugins, as well as exploring the potential future directions of research in revolutionizing learning through gamification. A systematic literature review that combines thematic and content analysis of 46 empirical research papers published in the Scopus database between 2020 and 2024. This study provides an in-depth assessment and evaluation of the various contradictions found in the literature, setting the stage for future research studies to re-examine the theoretical underpinnings of gamification, its methodological approaches, theoretical models, game and platform applications, educational game mechanisms, and learning outcomes. This study not only attempts to explain the novelty of game-based learning, which is considered a game-changer and a key driver of learning motivation and user experience, but also seeks to outline the main challenges and obstacles of educational gaming. Women’s Empowerment Through Training in Cloth Pad Production: Implications for Reproductive Health and Economic Independence
Full text linkThis study examines the impact of women's empowerment through training in making cloth sanitary napkins in Kesenden Village. The main issues raised are women's limited access to hygienic and affordable menstrual products, as well as the lack of economic opportunities for housewives. The purpose of the study was to analyze the impact of the training on the reproductive health and economic independence of participants in Kesenden Village. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. Informants were selected purposively from PKK members who participated in the training. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and participant observations, then analyzed thematically. The results showed that the training had a significant positive impact. From the reproductive health aspect, there was an increase in knowledge and practices of menstrual hygiene among participants, which has the potential to reduce the risk of infection. From the economic independence aspect, this training not only resulted in savings in routine household expenses thanks to independent cloth sanitary napkin production, but also opened up new entrepreneurial opportunities that allowed participants to earn additional income. In conclusion, the cloth sanitary napkin training program in Kesenden Village was effective in empowering women holistically. This initiative not only improved the quality of reproductive health, but also strengthened economic independence, which ultimately contributed to improving the welfare of families and the community as a whole
