Perspektif Fazlur Rahman tentang Modernisasi Pendidikan Islam
This study discusses Fazlur Rahman's thoughts which are focused on: (1) the concept of modernization of Islamic education; (2) the variety of modernization of Islamic education; and (3) the implications of his thought on Islamic education in the modern era. This type of research is library research using a philosophical and historical approach. The primary data sources in this study were books written directly by Fazlur Rahman, as well as books relevant to the discussion, while the secondary data in this study were relevant literature materials produced by other thinkers who discussed Fazlur Rahman. The method of data collection in this study used the documentation method and then analyzed using. content analysis techniques. The results show that the concept of modernization of Islamic education according to Fazlur Rahman is that education is the starting point for reform. Any reform model in Islam will never happen without the involvement of education in it. Furthermore, according to Fazlur Rahman, education should be held by prioritizing the freedom of students, because without creative nature, it is difficult for students to develop. The variety of modernization of Islamic education initiated by Fazlur Rahman includes five aspects: educational objectives, education system, educators, students, and educational facilities. The implication of this research is that the modernization of Islamic education leads to the importance of democratizing Islamic education by respecting human potential
Pendidikan Spiritualisme dalam Perspektif Al-Quran
This article aims to analyze spiritualism education in the Quran. The discussion focuses on four sub-discussions, namely: (1) The meaning of spiritualism in the Quran; (2) spiritual aspects of the Quran; (3) methods of Quran spirituality; and (4) the implications of Quran spirituality. This literature review documents various books, journals, and other research results as data sources. The collected data were then analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results of the study show that the concept of spiritualism in the perspective of the Koran is related to the world of the spirit, close to God, contains mysticism and interiority, and is equated with the essentials. Based on tracing the verses of the Quran, the three dimensions of spirituality in it are the dimension of transcendental, the dimension of norms, and the dimension of values. There are three methods of Quranic spirituality, namely tazakkur (remembrance of Allah), tafakkur (thinking about nature), and tadabbur (thinking about revelations or verses of Allah). The implications of the spirituality of the Koran are manifested in two terms in tasawuf spiritualism, namely al-maqāmat (the path to Sufism) and al-aḥwāl (the Sufi character)
Evaluasi Pelaksanaan Program Bantuan Operasional Sekolah di Madrasah Tsanawiyah DDI Cilellang Kabupaten Barru
This study aims to analyze the School Operational Assistance (BOS) program at MTs DDI Cilellang, Barru District, which focuses on implementation, evaluation, and the supporting and inhibiting factors. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Primary data sources consist of madrasa heads, BOS treasurers, teachers, and students at MTs DDI Cilellang. Secondary data sources are in the form of relevant journals and books as a theoretical basis and BOS document data at MTs DDI Cilellang. Data was collected using observation, interview, and documentation techniques and then analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. The results show that the implementation of the BOS program at MTs DDI Cilellang using Madrasah-Based Management (MBM) aims to empower madrasa through granting authority (autonomy). The implementation of the BOS program met a good standard based on six evaluation dimensions, namely effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, responsiveness, equity, and accuracy. The supporting factors are good cooperation between the madrasah and the madrasah committee; expert and experienced BOS fund managers. The inhibiting factor is the delay in receiving funds from the government
Pengaruh Motivasi terhadap Kinerja Guru Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Pangkep
This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation on the performance of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Pangkep teachers. This research is a survey research with a quantitative approach. The population of the number of teachers in MAN Pangkep is 32 teachers, because the population is less than 100 so the entire population is determined as respondents. Data were collected using observation, questionnaire, and documentation techniques. The research instruments used were observation sheets, questionnaires, and checklists (guidelines) for documentation. The research data was processed using the SPSS Version 23 application. The output of data processing was then analyzed by simple linear regression analysis (t-test) after going through the validity and reliability tests. The results of simple linear regression analysis (t-test) show that the value of Sig. of 0.004, means the value of Sig. <0.05 (0.004 <0.05). These data indicate that motivation has an effect on teacher performance at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Pangkep. The value of R Square is 0.494 so that the motivation variable has an influence of 49.4% on the teacher performance variable. While the other 50.6% are influenced by other variables not examined in this study
The Implementation of Character Education Based on Bugis Local Wisdom in Social Science Subjects
This study aims to analyze three sub-problems, namely (1) the implementation of Bugis local wisdom-based character education in social studies subjects, (2) the role of Bugis local wisdom values in shaping student character in social studies subjects, and (3) the factors that influence the implementation character education based on local wisdom in social studies subjects. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The informants consisted of 3 social studies teachers and 9 students of SMP Negeri 1 Patimpeng, Bone Regency who were selected using the cluster stratified random sampling technique. The results showed that the implementation of Bugis local wisdom-based character education in social studies subjects was carried out by the teacher designing character education material through classroom management first before starting learning, cooperation between schools and families, and making behavior guidelines in class. Character education is implemented using various learning models and methods, such as the STAD model, lecture, and assignment methods. The role of Bugis local wisdom values in shaping student character in social studies subjects is carried out by the teacher rewarding students who behave honestly, respect each other during discussions, and are responsible for the assignments given. Factors that influence local wisdom-based character education implementation in social studies include external (parents and teachers) and internal (students' ability to socialize) factors
Pengaruh Kepemimpinan terhadap Pengelolaan Wakaf Tunai dalam Pengembangan Pendidikan Islam di Sulawesi Selatan
Waqf often cannot be utilized by the community for the benefit of worship or general welfare, including the development of education. This is because the designation is not appropriate and the management is not carried out by a credible and professional nazir. This study aims to analyze the influence of Islamic leadership with the variables siddiq (honesty), tablig (conveying), amanah (trust), and fatanah (intelligence) on the management of cash waqf in the development of Islamic education in South Sulawesi. This survey research uses a quantitative approach. The population is 27 higher education institutions managed using cash waqf in South Sulawesi with 4 samples consisting of 105 respondents. Data was collected using observation, questionnaires, and documentation techniques. The instrument used is a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The collected data is managed using the SPSS application and then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that leadership with the variables siddiq (honesty), tablig (conveying), amanah (trust), and fatanah (intelligence) has a positive effect on the managing cash waqf in the development of Islamic education. This means that the higher the respondent’s trust in leaders, honesty, openness, and intelligence of leaders in the management of cash waqf, the better the development of Islamic education in South Sulawesi
Landasan Filosofis Pendidikan Islam: Konstruksi Tipologis Pendidikan Islam di Era Modern
This study aims to analyze the philosophical roots of Islamic education, which are focused on four sub-problems, namely: (1) the meaning and substance of the philosophy of Islamic education; (2) the ontological; (3) the epistemological; and (4) the axiological principles of Islamic education. This research method is a literature review with a philosophical and pedagogical approach. The findings of the study indicate a close relationship between philosophy and education, namely that philosophical issues are essentially the central themes that are transferred through education and that education is a critical means in the inheritance and socialization of philosophical ideas and values. The ontological principle of Islamic education emphasizes the fundamental aspects of a belief system that revolves around the principles of purposeful creation, comprehensive unity, and solid balance. The epistemological principles of Islamic education talk about the methodological basis in an effort to transfer knowledge to students, which ultimately narrows the dichotomous gap between religious and non-religious sciences. Meanwhile, the axiological aspect of Islamic education emphasizes the actualization of absolute transcendental values and universal values that become the main basis for Islamic education materials and curriculum, which in turn form a complete Muslim person with Islamic character
Pengaruh Kesiapan Siswa dan Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi Komunikasi terhadap Kebijakan Merdeka Belajar Menyongsong Era Industri 5.0
This study examines the effect of student readiness and the use of ICT on the implementation of independent learning policies in welcoming the industrial era 5.0. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with a survey approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, questionnaires and documentation. The population of this study were all teachers of SMA Negeri 20 Makassar City. Determination of the sample was carried out by purposive sampling using accidental sampling technique, then as many as 40 teacher respondents were recruited who got the task of providing online learning systems to their students. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively with the stages of validity and reliability test analysis, classical assumption test and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study found that: 1) simultaneously the variables of student readiness and the use of ICT had a positive and significant effect on the independent learning policy in welcoming the industrial era 5.0; 2) partially each variable, namely student readiness and use of ICT, has a positive and significant influence on the policy of independent learning in welcoming the industrial era 5.0; 3) the dominant student readiness variable has a positive and significant effect on the independent learning policy in welcoming the industrial era 5.0; and 4) the independent learning policy variable shows a negative regression coefficient value, so it is interpreted to have decreased. This means that not all education actors understand the policy of free learning in welcoming the industrial era 5.0
Evaluasi Model CIPP pada Program Studi Al-Qur’an Intensif (SAINS) Universitas Negeri Makassar
The main problem in this research is the evaluation of the Intensive Al-Qur'an Study (SAINS) program at UNM using the CIPP evaluation model. This study employs a qualitative research approach in evaluating the SAINS program at UNM using the CIPP evaluation model. The data sources of this research are information from members of the drafting panels of the SAINS-UNM program as well as information from the implemented documents of the SAINS program. Furthermore, the data collection methods used were interviews and documentation. Data processing and analysis techniques used in this research were three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusions drawing. The results of this study indicate that from its contextual aspect, the SAINS program at UNM has been done because 4 main reasons: to assist the lecturers of Islamic religion, to improve students’ ability in reading the Qur'an, to eradicate the illiterate of students of the Quran, and to maintain the spirit of reading the Quran among the students. In terms of its inputs, it is apparent that some improvements in particular areas are needed, particularly in planning and conducting curriculum development, tutor recruitment aspect, participants’ attendance, and financial planning and facility. In terms of its process, it was suggested that the program has been well conducted where all the previously planned activities were successfully accomplished. Finally, in terms of its product, it reveals that for those students who participated in the SAINS program, there is an increase in their ability to read the Quran
Pengembangan Karier Guru Selama dalam Jabatan: Analisis Kompetensi Profesional
The work of the teaching profession cannot be done by people who do not have special skills or have not studied teacher education. This study aims to analyze teacher career development while in position and focuses on: (1) the educational profession; (2) teacher professional competence; and (3) teacher professional development. This literature study uses a pedagogic and juridical approach. Data collected through book and journal documentation was analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results of the study found that the development of teacher professionalism is an unavoidable condition, like the changing times. Improving teachers' professional abilities is accomplished with government assistance through programs and training activities (providing opportunities). Improving teachers’ professional abilities should not only focus on administrative aspects of staffing, but also on increasing their professional abilities and commitment as educators. Efforts to improve teacher professionalism certainly require support from all parties, including professional organizations, the government, and the community. This research has implications for teachers as a competitive profession that demands development according to the times; therefore, teachers must consciously and responsibly always want to improve their professionalism
