    Peranan Administrasi Pendidikan dalam Meningkatkan Profesionalisme Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) pada MTs DDI Cilellang Kabupaten Barru

    This research discusses the role of educational administration, in this case, the learning device as an effort to increase Islamic education teacher professionalism at MTs DDI Cilellang, Barru Regency. The aims are to analyze: 1) the state of educational administration made by the teacher; 2) the form of teacher professionalism; and 3) the contribution of educational administration in increasing teacher professionalism. The type of this research is qualitative with descriptive method. Informants in this research were teachers of Al-Qur’an-Hadis, teachers of Akidah Akhlak, teachers of Fikih, and teachers of Islamic Culture History (SKI) at MTs DDI Cilellang, Barru Regency. The results showed that the state of teacher education administration at MTs DDI Cilellang, Barru Regency was complete and was well applied in the learning process in the classroom. The form of teacher professionalism is carrying out duties, roles, and responsibilities as teachers well. The contributions of educational administration in developing teacher professionalism at MTs DDI Cilellang, Barru Regency are five, namely: (1) time management, (2) class management, (3) stimulating to innovate, (4) stimulating to develop technical skills, (5) and the concept of transformation of students

    Epistemologi Pendidikan Islam: Memutus Dominasi Barat terhadap Pendidikan Islam

    This study discusses the essence, approach, and method of the epistemology of Islamic education and its urgency to developing Islamic education in the modern era. The discussion will clarify the reasons why Western education dominates and influences Islamic education, the epistemological system of the Islamic education, the renewal of the epistemology of the Islamic education, and efforts to build the epistemology of the Islamic education. This research is a conceptual study whose data is collected through library documentation and analyzed by content analysis method. The results show that 1) the epistemology of the Islamic education is a series of ways to find the theories and concepts of Islamic education, so as to solve various problems of Islamic education; 2) there are four epistemological approaches to the Islamic education: empirical, scientific, philosophical, and religious (theological). There are six epistemological methods of Islamic education, namely: rational, intuitive, dialogical, comparative, critical, and ‘ibrah; 3) the urgency of the epistemology of Islamic education in developing Islamic education in the modern era is to filter Western thought or shield from the influence of Western epistemology, reform Islamic education without removing idealism (characteristic of Islam), integration of Islamic education with the national education system

The type of research used is a qualitative descriptive method. The research approach uses theological normative, social, and pedagogical approaches. The informants from this research were the community of the Soppeng Regency, by prioritizing community figures, religious figures, and educational figures. The results of the research found that the relation of social interaction of the people in Soppeng Regency was divided into two, namely: 1) contractual relations in urban communities whose lifestyles began to be influenced by modern lifestyle patterns, and 2) emotional relations based on cultural in rural communities who maintained cultural and traditional lifestyle patterns. The roles of Islamic community figures in the social interaction of the people in Soppeng Regency are founder and manager of Islamic education institutions; as a government partner; providing information on Islamic teaching; give decisions and solutions to community problems. The position of Islamic education in social interaction is very important in order to realize the civil society in Soppeng Regency. This can be seen in the growth of community tolerance, democratic governance that makes events and ceremonies of traditional and religious a work program, even raising the awareness of citizens to resolve their conflicts peacefully on the principle of deliberation based on Islamic teachings fairly without looking at one's social background or stratification

    The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe: (1) Various efforts made by Islamic education teachers to habituation students to prayer in congregation at SMP Negeri 2 Liliriaja; (2) the implications of prayer in congregation for the personality of students at SMP Negeri 2 Liliriaja; and (3) the supporting and inhibiting factors faced by Islamic education teachers in habituating students to prayer in congregation at SMP Negeri 2 Liliriaja. The type of research used is qualitative. The use of this type of research is because data analysis does not require statistical measurements. The data is focused on the perceptions and experiences of Islamic education teachers in SMP Negeri 2 Liliriaja as informants. Data is described as is without engineering from the researcher. The data analysis technique is descriptive with three stages that are related to each other, namely data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed that the efforts of Islamic Education teachers to habituate students for prayer in congregation were through exemplary education, habituation education, education with advice, education with demonstration, and education with practice. Praying in congregation influences the personality building of students at SMP Negeri 2 Liliriaja. This is evident from students who diligently perform prayers in congregation in schools' musallah, have good behavior, speak softly, and behave politely, both to the teacher and to fellow students. Supporting factors in habituating students with congregational prayer are the availability of worship facilities such as ablution places and musallah at school. The inhibiting factor is that some students are less aware of the importance of prayer and some parents pay less attention to their children regarding the importance of prayer

    Model Integrasi Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi dalam Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh

    The purposes of the study were to analyze the availability of supporting infrastructure and facilities in integrating ICT, describe the utilization model of information and communication technology used in the distance learning process, and reveal the interaction model implemented in distance learning classes by using ICT. This study used qualitative research by involving distant classes in cooperation between post graduate program of UINAM, STAIN Palopo, and UMPAR. The methods in collecting data consisted of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis included data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion and verification. The results showed that the integration model of information and communication technologies used in distance learning under the cooperation class between post graduate program at the UINAM, STAIN Palopo, and UMPAR covered (1) the identification of appropriate sources that are in the category of fairly complete, (2) the use of ICT in distance learning can be categorized into two parts; providing materials and learning activities, and (3) the forms of interaction are faculty-student interaction, student-student interaction, and faculty-student and learning resources interaction

    This study aimed to analyze the essence of humans as pedagogic beings by focusing on optimizing fitrah, hearing, sight, and heart as human basic potential, as well as the implications of these various potentials for Islamic education. This study is a literature study whose data comes from documents and analyzed using content analysis method. The results of the study indicate that optimizing fitrah as a basic human potential must be through education and the creation of a conducive environment. Optimization of hearing, sight, and heart as a basic human potential by always directing it to respond to empirical stimuli not only to something that is material in nature but also to something that brings it closer to God. The essence of humans as pedagogical beings has implications for (1) the Islamic education system must be built on the integration between qalbiyah and aqliyah education; (2) Islamic education must be directed at being able to carry out the functions and objectives of the creation of humans (khalifah and ‘abd)
