Get PDFカリキュラム・マネジメントは、次期学習指導要領で確立が求められている学校教育の新しい機能である。次期学習指導要領では、特色ある学校づくり、自ら学ぶ、教科書で教える、生きる力、校長のリーダーシップ等など、これまで追及されてきた様々な改革が一つにまとめられ、同時に、それらを効果的に実施するための機能としてカリキュラム・マネジメントが拡充される。
カリキュラム・マネジメントとは何か。本論が分析した文献では、「各学校が、学校の教育目標をよりよく達成するために、組織としてカリキュラムを創り、動かし、変えていく、継続的かつ発展的な、課題解決の営み」と定義されている。しかし、この定義では、学習過程の発展メカニズムが弱く、児童・生徒の学習や発達、教師の教育実践の高度化などが分析されないきらいがある。カリキュラム・マネジメントを発展させるためには、学習過程の高度化や学習マネジメントの機能も含めて発展させる必要がある。
学習過程や学習マネジメントの機能を高度化するためには、国際的に提起されているキー・コンピテンシー論や５つのディシプリン論などを参考に実践研究を発展させる必要がある
