Aspects of Phonetic Tendencies in Era Names
Get PDFThe new era Reiwa started on the first of May, 2019 in Japan. The system of era-naming in Japan began in A.D. 645, and there have been a total of 248 era names. There are some rules that must be followed when deciding era names such as referring to classical literature and spelling it using two kanji characters. Though the rules vary from ancient times to modern periods, it seems universal that era-naming is an important ceremony for the vision of a glorious future. Era names tend to require positive and holy meanings in the choice of kanji characters as well as the pronunciation. This paper investigates all era names in Japan by typing them in phonetic symbols and categorizing them to analyze rhythm patterns and phonemes. Some tendencies of era-naming are discussed by comparing previous studies of sound symbolism which is often found in onomatopoeia

A Corpus Analysis of the Spelling Reform Movement in the Creation of American English and Americanism (alias A Corpus Analisis of the Speling Riform Moovment in the Criasion of American English and Americanizm)
Get PDFSynchronic variation between British English and American English ranges from pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar to spelling. Since synchronic variation results from language change, diachronic observations of the language are necessary for a meaningful account of linguistic variation. This study traces the origin of the difference in spelling between the two varieties of English, American and British, by putting a special focus on the attempts at spelling reform that intensified in America after its independence. The attempts, also collectively called the simplified spelling movement, can be characterized as one of the pursuits of Americanism as well as American English. The movement stemmed from the connection of linguistic nationalism with linguistic demands for a correspondence of orthography with actual pronunciation. This paper aims to identify spelling reform proposals made in the latter half of the 18th century by Noah Webster, one of the most influential reformers, and by the Filology [sic] Committee of the Simplified Spelling Board in the early 20th century. But there, humans were atomized as homo-economists, and extremely abstracted human images were applied as a premise for analysis. Changing Values of Alcohol-dependents in the Recovering Process
Get PDFアルコール依存症者の病識と洞察の出現を図るために、対象者に断酒方法と回復資源の全体像と全回復段階を提示するという工夫について考察した。次に「酔いの三分類」（河野，1983）と回復過程との関連、及びアルコール依存症者には「断酒新生」後、「嘘から正直」「孤独（一人）から連帯（仲間）」「利己から利他」などの価値観の転換が起こり、「飲酒文化」の中で「断酒文化」を創出し拡大しながら、「生き方の向上」（QOL）を図っていくという回復過程について考察した。その過程は「回復」から「成長」へ、さらには「成熟」へという質的転換がなされた境地に到達すると考察した。よってこの病気の到達点は、「飲む必要のない生き方を、共に喜こびを持って生きる」という「断酒超越」の生き方にあると提示した

Get PDF本研究の目的は、５歳児を対象に看図アプローチによる読み解きを実践し、子ども同士や保育者との話し合いのなかで、子どもと保育者がどのように関わりながらビジュアルテキストを読み解き、表現するのかを検討することである。看図アプローチによる読み解きは「氷」の写真５枚をビジュアルテキストとして使用し、筆者とグループ（子どもと担当保育者１名）で行った。その結果、子どもは、保育者の受容や共感に支えられ、ビジュアルテキストの読み解きを楽しみ、それぞれの見方や考え方から自由に表現する姿がみられた

ング体験にどのような相違があるのかをレポート内容の比較により分析する。
〔方法〕基礎看護学実習において「体験したヒューマンケアリング」というテーマで書かれ、
2015年度と2016年度に提出されたレポートをテキストマイニングの手法を用いて分析した。分析ソ
フトには、Text Mining studio Ver.6.1（数理システム）を使用した。
〔結果〕2015年度及び2016年度の基礎看護学実習で共通していたのは、患者とコミュニケーショ
ンをとる中で体験したヒューマンケアリングであった。2015年度は、主に清潔の援助やコミュニケ
ーションを通した場面で、かつ自分の実践したことからの学びに偏るのに対し、2016年度は、自分
の体験に留まらず看護師のシャドーイングによる看護場面の客観的な観察からも学びを得ることがで
きていた。
〔考察〕2015年度の学生は、患者との直接的な関わりからヒューマンケアリング体験を捉えてい
るが、2016年度の学生は多岐に渡る様々な体験からヒューマンケアリングを考察していた。2016年
度の学生は、「ヒューマンケアリング」を場面として感じ、それが何であるのかを考え言語化しよう
と試みることで、概念としても捉えようとしている姿が窺えた。
〔結論〕基礎看護学実習における「ヒューマンケアリング」概念の考察という点においては、モデ
リング（シャドーイング）は有効であることが改めて確認できた
