FORMULASI SEDIAAN TETES MATA DENGAN ZAT AKTIF KOMBINASI KLORAMFENIKOL DAN ZINK SULFAT
A research has been done to formulate eye drop with chloramphenicol and zinc sulfat as active ingredient. The planned formulation contain chloramphenilcol 0,25%, zink sulfat 0,25%, boric acid 1,9%, methylparaben 0,1%, and water steril until 100 %. To still keep stability of eye drop so added additional ingredient such as Boric acid as buffer, methylparaben as preservative, and water steril as carrier. Result of the research that purity concentration of chloramphenicol in eye drop is 98,62% and zink sulfat is 108,2% as active ingredient approriate with standart of indonesia,s Pharmacope fourth edition. Sterility test shown that eye drop chloramphenicol and zink sulfat there is not found microbe or free from microbe aerob, anaerob, and mold.Key words : eye drop, chloramphenicol, Zink sulfa
STABILITAS DAN MASA SIMPAN SEDIAAN SUSPENSI KERING ERITROMISIN ETILSUKSINAT DENGAN VARIASI BAHAN PENSUSPENSI
An Investigation on how to know the chemist stability and the expired date on dry suspension formulation of erythromycin ethylsuccinate has been done in variation of suspending agents.Evaluation of Chemical stability has been done by inspection a rate of eritromisin degradation with accelerated stability test by stored sample on temperature above room temperature (250C) that is 30, 40, 50 and 600C during 4 days and decided the remain of the erythromicyn concentration each 1 day (24 hours).The Results is rate of erythromycin degradation in stored by normal temperature (250C) for the formula I, II and III to follow that is 0,00043 day-1; 0,00026 day-1 and 0,00064 day-1. Th stored time for the formula I, II and III to follow that is 0,7; 1,13; and 0,5 years. The result have been shown that formula II (Gum xanthan as a suspending agent) was the most stable dry suspension chemically.Key Words : Stability , Expired Date, Dry Suspension , Erythromycin Ethylsuccinate , Suspending Agen
UJI AKTIVITAS ANTIRADIKAL BEBAS EKSTRAK DIETIL ETER DAUN SIRSAK (Annona muricata Linn.) ASAL KOTA MAKASSAR DENGAN METODE DPPH
Has been on concerning test of activity radical scavenging of soursop leaves (Annonamuricata Linn.) extract of dietileter with DPPH method. This research aimed to know the level activity of free radical based on binding of DPPH free radicals of Soursop leaves (Annonamuricata Linn.).Extraction of soursop leaves (Annonamuricata Linn.) by macerate with methanol, methanol extract then is partition with dietileter.Than measured of quantitative by five concentration 50 ppm, 100 ppm, 200 ppm, 300 ppm and 400 ppm, the result of measured have done with statistical method of regretion simple linier with average value of IC50 are 4980,4 ppm. This potency explainextract activity is still very lowers than vitamin C and BHT with value of IC50 are 10,304 mg/ml dan 43,394 ppm. Key Words :DPPH, Radical scavenging, Annonamuricata Linn.
ANALISIS KADAR KALSIUM (Ca) DAN MAGNESIUM (Mg) PADA KACANG METE (Anacardium occidentale.L) SECARA SPEKTROFOTOMETRI SERAPAN ATOM
Analysis of Calsium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) in the mete nut (Anacardium occidentale L.) by Atomic Absorption spectrophotometry. This research intended to determine rates of calsium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) in the mete nut (Anacardium occidentale L.) by means of Atomic Absorption Spectrofotometry. The research enwrap qualitative analysis. Before to be analised, first to do destruction mete nut (Anacardium occidentale L.) later on dissolved in HNO3 and HCl. Qualitative analysis used specific reactant and quantitative analysis used atomic absortion spectrophotometry at wave length of 422,7 nm and 285,21 nm for calsium and magnesium respectively. The result of the research indicated that average rates of calsium in the mete nut (Anacardium occidentale L.) is 1055,83 mg/100 g of the sample. Average rates of magnesium in the mete nut (Anacardium occidentale L.) is 58 mg/100 g of the sample.Key Words : Calsium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) and Anacardium occidentale
UJI EFEK ANTIASKARIASIS EKSTRAK METANOL AKAR CEGUK (Quiqualis indica L) TERHADAP CACING (Ascaris lumbricoides var.suum) SECARA IN VITRO
An in vitro research on the antiascariasis effect of methanol extract of “ceguk” root against Ascaris lumbricoides var. suum had been conducted. The aim of this research was study the antiascariasis effect of methanol extract of “ceguk” root against roundworm. This research used Ascaris lumbricoides var. suum which divided into five groups, three treatment groups were immersed in 5%, 15% and 25% w/v suspension concentration of methanol extract of “ceguk” root, one control group was immersed in 1% w/v Na CMC colloidal and one comparative group was immersed in 0,125% w/v suspension concentration of pyrantel pamoat and then were incubated at 37±0,5O C. the observation was done by counting the roundworm which was dead at 1st, 2nd, 3rd,4th, 5th, 6th, 12th, 18th, and 24th hours of observation. The result of observation was show all concentration methanol extract of “ceguk” root had antiascariasis effect. Antiascariasis effect of the comparative group of 0,125% w/v pyrantel pamoat faster than antiascariasis effect of 25% w/v methanol extract of “ceguk” root, which the comparative group showed the dead of roundworm 100% at 3rd, hour and the 25% w/v methanol extract showed the dead of roundworm 100% at 18th hour.Key words : ceguk root, antiascariasi
FERMENTASI UBI KAYU (Manihot utillisima Pohl) DENGAN RAGI Monascus purpureus UNTUK PRODUKSI ZAT WARNA ANGKAK
Has conducted research on the cassava (Manihot utillisima Pohl.) fermentation with Monascus purpureus yeast to angkak essence pigmen production. This research aimed to make angkak pigmen by solid and pigmen extraction from fermentasion using Monascus purpureus. Then the wevelength is measured by using spectrophotometry UV-Vis. The result of research is 30 gram of cassava (Manihot utillisima Pohl.) fermented product obtained angkak dye with yellow dye % levels as much as 36,64%. Where the results of measurements of spectrophotometry UV-Vis showed that the maximum wevelength of 398,0 nm.Key Words : Manihot utillisima Pohl, Monascus purpureus, Angka

This research concerning by means non-experimental with descriptive approach was to collect the data with retrospectively compared take from medical data then to search the drugs that interacting each other on strokes patient caused by hypertension at RSUP. DR. Wahidin Sudirohusodo in Makassar. The result of this research showed that strokes and hypertensions drug that interacting each other in 2007 and 2008 was the interaction between aspire and captopril where in 2007 was 48% and in 2008 was 54%, with pharmacokinetics interaction type is distributions interaction.Key Words : Drug Interacting, strokes, hypertensions
ANALISIS KANDUNGAN POLIFENOL DAN UJI AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN DARI BUAH MARKISA (Passiflora edulis)
This study aims to analyze and determine the levels of polyphenols content from passion fruit (Passiflora edulis) is particulary cultivated in the central region of Malino in South Sulawesi regencies of Gowa, and test the antioxidant activity compared with ascorbic acid (vitamin C) is also one of the body’s antioxidant. This research was conducted by using UV-visible spektrophotometry and as reagents used Folin Ciocalteu solution and 15% Na2CO3 produces a blue color, read absorbtion at 670 nm wavelength. As a standard solution used with tannat acid concentration 0,5 ppm, 1,0 ppm, 2 ppm, 4 ppm and 8 ppm. To test the antioxidant activity is also using UV-visible spectrophomometry and used as reactant solution concentration of DPPH with 1 mM (milimolar), read absorbtion at 515 nm wavelength with color change from purple to yellow to dark brown. Used as a standard solution of ascorbic acid concentration 20 ppm, 40 ppm, 80 ppm and 160 ppm. The result showed that the 2 varieties of passion fruit (Passiflora edulis) contain levels of polyphenols with poliphenol content of the purple passion fruit (Passiflora edulis Sims var. Edulis) of 0.5768 mg/100 ml and the yellow passion fruit (Passiflora edulis L var. Flavicarpa Degener) 1.1278 mg/100 ml. To study the antioxidant activity of the test result is the percentage of resistance in purple passion fruit (Passiflora edulis Sims var. Edulis) of 90.65% and yellow passion fruit (Passiflora edulis L var. Flavicarpa Degener) for 47.32%.Keyword : Polifenol, Passiflora edulis, Spectrofotometric UV-Vis
AKTIVITAS ANTIMIKROBA EKSTRAK DIETIL ETER KARANG LUNAK Sinularia sp. TERHADAP BEBERAPA MIKROBA UJI SECARA KLT- BIOAUTOGRAFI
An antimicrobial assay has been done to Sinularia sp. The preliminary research has done screening toward extract of ethanol, diethyl ether, and n-butanol concentration 1 mg/ml using 9 trial microbe. The result has been showed that diethyl ether extract actively to inhibiting growth of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella thypi, and Streptococcus mutans. The antimicrobial activity assay toward diethyl ether extract of Sinilaria sp. is carried out by liquid dilution methode to find the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) value by concentration 0,025%, 0,05%, 0,1%, 0,2%, 0,4%, and 0,8%. Experiment has been continued by into solidified medium to decide the Minimum Lethality Concentration (MLC). The result showed that MIC could not be determined due to turbidity of test solution, mean while the MLC toward Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella thypi, and Streptococcus mutans each of them 0,2%, 0,8%, and 0,8%. To identify the group of the compound in diethyl ether extract which gave antimicrobial activity by TLC-Bioautography test. Then obtained best result from separation of compound by TLC which using eluent combination n-Hexan : etil asetat (6 : 4). The result of TLC-Bioautography test showed that growth of Pseudomonas aeruginosa can inhibited by spot at the rate of flow (Rf) 0,9 , of Salmonella thypi can inhibited by spot at the rate of flow (Rf) 0,9 and 0,56 and then of Streptococcus mutans can inhibited by spot at the rate of flow (Rf) 0,24. Result of identifying of chemical compound indicated that the active compound give the positive for steroid at Rf 0,9, Rf 0,24 and Rf 0,56.Key Words : Antimikroba, Sinularia sp, KLT-Bioautograf
FORMULASI YOGHURT SEBAGAI LOSIO PEMBERSIH WAJAH DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN VARIASI EMULGATOR
Yoghurt formulation as facial cleansing lotion has been done in which the emulsifier were nonionic (tween 60 and span 60), amine soap (triethanolamin and stearic acid), and detergent (sodium lauryl sulfate) respectively. The aim was to determine the most optimum stabilty formulation. The evaluation was carried out before and after accelerated condition in 5ºC and 35ºC respectively for 10 cycles.Organoleptic, creaming volume, emulsion type, dirpersed globul, viscosity, and yield value were observed. The result of organoleptik showed that there were no change in color and smell, creaming volume and dispersed globul before and after accelerated condition. Statystic analyses foward the viscosity in formula I was apparently indifferent mean while the second and the third formula were different in viscosity. statystic analyses foward the yield value in formula I was apparently indifferent and the second was different mean while the third formula very different in yield value. Formula I showed the most minimum alteration in rheogram .
