    A research about the effect of blood storage time to the number of erythrocyte cell count in blood donors has been done at Transfusion Blood laboratory Unit and of laboratoriun Health Of Job Society. This research is aimed to determine the effect of blood storage time to the number of erythrocyte cell count in blood donors which placed at 4o C. This study used experiment laboratory method, with total samples are 5 bags of blood. The result of the research about eritrocyte cell count decresed every week, 4,72% (man) and 5,45% (woman) at the first week, 8,83% (man) and 10,9% (woman) at the second week, 14,17% (man) and 15,53% (woman) at the third week, 21,77% (man) and 25,34% (woman) at the fourth week and 30,39% (man) and 32,7% (woman) at the fifth week.Keywords : storage time, caffeine, erythrocyte, blood dono

    Has been done research Diuretic effect test of seed corn infusem, hair Corn infuse and combination of both in order to determining diuretic effect with frequency urination and volume urine  parameters. This research use trial animals as many as 15 male rabbits, divided into 5 groups and each group consisted of three tails, group I is control that given colloidal solution of Na.CMC 1 %,  group II infuse corn (Zea mays L) 23 33 mg group III has Qvien seed corn infuse (Zee mays L ) 466,664 gr,  group IV has Given combination of hair and sedd corn infuse and group V is comparator that given suspension of furosemid Treatment done orally with a dose of 20 / 2,5 kg for further observation and measurement frequency done diuretic and urine  volume intervals of 1 hour for  5 hours after treatment The result showed that infuse of seed corn, hair corn and combination of both can increase the frequency of urination, and just infuse of seed corn and hair corn increase the volume win of rabbits This is supported by statistical analysis methods CRD (Completely Randomized Design) For the frequency of urination infuse of seed corn, hair corn, and combination of both did not significantly different with furecemid while for the volume urine hair corn infuse and seed corn infuse are significantly different  with Na CMC and not significantly different with furosemidKey words: Diuretic, seed and hair corn Infus

    Research of effect toksisitas of n-heksan faction of the beruwas laut (Scaevola taccada (Gaertn.)Roxb.) leaf at prawn larva of Artemia salina Leach have been done as a mean to determine potency of toksisitas and value of LC­­­50 beruwas laut (Scaevola taccada (Gaertn.)Roxb.) leaf. As control used n-heksan. Before treatment, prawn egg of Artemia salina Leach incubated at some stage and after 48 hours prawn larva of Artemia salina Leach are ready to given treatment. Hereinafter n-heksan faction of beruwas laut (Scaevola taccada (Gaertn.)Roxb.) leaf with concentration 0,1 ; 1 ; 10 ; 100 µg/ml in sea water enhanced 10 prawn larvas. For control, done same treatment. Perception done after 24 hours treatment by counting dead prawn larva. Result of perception indicate that value of LC50 n-heksan faction of beruwas laut (Scaevola taccada (Gaertn.)Roxb.) leaf 4,17 ± 2,59 µg/ml. So that can be expressed that n-heksan faction of beruwas laut (Scaevola taccada (Gaertn.)Roxb.) leaf have potency as anticancer, this matter is based by standard of Meyer (1982) expressing that a natural materials compound have potency of anticancer if value of LC50 <1000 µg/ml.   Key word : Toksisitas Test, Scaevola taccada (Gaertn.)Roxb, Brine Shrimp Lethality Tes

    UJI ANTIMITOSIS EKSTRAK ETANOL BUAH MERAH (Pandanus conoideus Lam) DENGAN METODE PENGHAMBATAN PEMBELAHAN SEL TELUR Tripneustes gratilla Linn TERFERTILISASI

    The research concerning antimitotic assay of ”Buah Merah” (Pandanus conoideus Lam) ethanol extract using sea urchin Tripneustes gratilla Linn eggs cleavage inhibition method had been conducted. The aim of this study was to determine the antimitotic  effect of buahMerah ethanol extract in to inhibit cell cleavage of fertilized sea urchin eggs. Buah Merah ethanol extract was made in to 5 concentration there was 0,001 µg/ml, 0,01 µg/ml, 0,1 µg/ml, 1 µg/ml and 10 µg/ml with vincristine as the compared. Quantivication of cell cleavage was performed visually under the light microscopy by counting the number of cleaveaged and non cleaveaged embryos after an incubation time of  ± 2 hours. If 80-100% inhibition of cleavage (IC80-100) occurs at ≤ 16 mg/ml, the compound is considered to be active as antimitotic. The result of this research showed that IC80 value of ”BuahMerah” ethanol extract was 0,026 mg/ml. According to the value ethanol extract was categorized active as antimitotic, although their potency lower than vincristin which can inhibit 80 % of fertilized sea urchin eggs at 2,789x10-4 mg/ml.Key words: Pandanus conoideus Lam, Antimitotic, Tripneustes gratilla Linn

    UJI AKTIVITAS ANTIMIKROBA EKSTRAK DIETIL ETER AKAR ANTING-ANTING (Acalypha australis L.) SECARA KLT-BIOAUTOGRAFI

    A research had been done of antimicrobial activity of Anting-anting (Acalypha australis L.). The preliminary research was done by screening test using Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella typhi, Streptococcus mutans, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Pseudomonas aeroginosa, Escherichia coli, Vibrio sp, Bacillus subtilis and Candida albicans  toward extract of ethanol, dietyl eter and n-butanol of anting-anting (Acalypha australis L.) wich were use in 1 mg/ml.  The result showed that the dietil eter extract inhibit growth of bacteria, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis and Salmonella typhi. The test Antimicrobial activity toward dietil eter extract of Gamal (Glyricidia sepium (Jacq).Steud.) was done by using  the liquid dilution  methode to find out the MIC value in concentration 0,00625%, 0,025%, 0,1%, 0,4% and 1,6% continued by spreading on solid medium to find out the MKC value. The result showed that MIC toward to Staphylococcus aureus is 0,025%, Eschericia coli is 0,1%, Bacillus subtilis is 0,025%, and Salmonella thypii is 0,025%. While MKC  toward to Staphylococcus aureus is 1,6%, Escherichia coli is 0,4%, Bacillus subtilis is 0,025%, and Salmonella thypii is 0,1%. The TLC-Bioautography technique was used to predict the active constituents. The best result  has been obtained from separating by means TLC which used mixture of n-hexane : ethyl acetate (3:1). The result of TLC-Bioautografi showed that the spot in Rf 0,27 and Rf 0,36 given the activity antimkrobial toward Escherchia coli, Rf 0,36 toward Bacillus subtilis, and Rf 0,45 toward Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella typhi. The identification result of the chemical component shown that the actif compound wich given positif result as fenol on spot in Rf 0,27 and 0,36 and the active compound wich given positif result as steroid on spot in Rf 0,45.Key word : Aktivitas antimikroba, Skrining, KLT-Bioautografi, Anting-anting (Acalypha australis L.

    An research has been done about formulation of tomato essence (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill) as a Cream Mask by using variation concentration of nonionic emulgator (polysorbat 20 and sorbitan monostearic) that were  formula A (concentration 4%), formula B (concentration 3%), and formula C (concentration 2%). There aim of investigation was to determine the Formulation which has an optimum stability. Stability evaluation has done by observation of organoleptic, creaming volume, dispersed globule, viscosity and yield value, and emulsion type determination before and after stress condition at 50C and 350C for 10 cycles. Observation’s result shown that there wasn’t change before and after stress condition of orgenoleptic, creaming volume, emulsion type, rheology type before and after stress condition. Statistic analyse result of parameter viscosity and yield value by means of random black design shown that formula B (concentration 3%) obtained apparent indifferent in dispersed globule, viscosity and yield value between before and after stress condition.     Isolation and identification of n-Hexane faction from Sweet Flag leaves (Acorus calamus Linn.) was done. The aim of research is determine the chemical compound on it leaf, which was commonly used as the traditional medicine. Sample from 250 grams of dried Sweet Flag leaf, macerate using methanol, produce 21.563 grams dried extract.     Isolation and identification of the chemical compound diethyl ether was done at beruwas laut leaves. Extraction is carried out using methanol and then partitioned with diethyl ether. Fraction of diethyl ether then isolated by column chromatography method using adsorben and n-hexane: ethyl acetate (3:7) as the elution fluid. Then obtained 30 fractions by color and by KLT profiles obtained 16 fractions. dominant fraction with patches further purified by preparative KLT to obtain the pure compound. Tape I at 366 nm UV rays were analyzed by ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy showed maximum absorption at a wavelength of 239.5 nm as measured from wavelength 200-800 nm.     UJI EFEK ANTIINFLAMASI EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN SIRSAK (Annona muricata Linn.) TERHADAP MENCIT (Mus musculus) JANTAN YANG DIINDUKSI DENGAN KARAGEN

    The research about aniinflammatory effect of Sirsak leaves (Annona muricata Linn.) ethanolic extract in male mice (Mus musculus) was conducted, the aim to assay the anti-inflammatory effect of Sirsak leaves done extract based on decrease in oedema volume of foot palm male mice. It was used 15 male mices that evaluated and divided into 5 groups that each group has 3 mices given extract in dose 0f 0,182 g/kgBB, 0,546 g/kgBB and 0,91 g/kgBB, one group as the compore which administered diclofenac sodium, one negative control group which administered 1% Na.CMC. induction carried out by injection 1% w/v carrageen 0,05 ml subcutan in the feet palm of mice. One hour later each group administered the teste preparation orally 1 ml/30 gBW. Group 1 to 3 the series dose of the extract 0,182 g/kgBB, 0,546 g/kgBB and 0,91 g/kgBB. Group 5 diclofenac sodium suspension. The measurement of oedema volume carried out prior and after administration of the tested preparation 0, 30, 60, 90, and 120 minutes. The data correlation between oedema versus time analysed value with use SPSS 20.Result indicated variaties with ethanolic Extract of Sirsak leaves have the effect antiinflamatory at dose 0,182 g/kgBB, 0,546 g/kgBB, dan 0,91 g/kgBB and not differ the reality by Natrium Diklofenak.Keywords : Inflamation, Anona muricata’s leaf, Carageen
