    Preliminary research permot leaf (Passiflora foetida L.) used Acetobacter xylinum bacterial culture and Sacharomyces cerevisiae yeast fermentation in determined the alcohol content of kombucha with the purpose of determined the alcohol content of kombucha products permot leaf (Passiflora foetida L.) from Makassar in South Sulawesi gas chromatography.     A quantitative structure activity relationship study on a series of N-alkyl imidazole analogues using combination of various atomic descriptors and molecular descriptors have been investigated. The research was aimed to obtain mathematic equation Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship of N-alkyl Imidazole analougues as antibacterial agents at bacteria Staphilococcus aureus with electronic parameters used semiempiric Austin Model 1 (AM1) method  .Several statistical expressions were developed using stepwise multiple liner regression analysis. The best quantitative structure activity relationship models were further validated by leave-one-out method of cross-validation. The study revealed that the atomic net charges of C2&C3,E-Homo,E-lumo,dipole moment (µ),and Total Energy (ET) contributed positively, and atomic net charges of C1,N1,&N2,Binding Energy (Eb),RMS Gradient (RMS), and Elecrtonic Energy (Ee)  contributed negatively. The quantitative structure activity relationship study provides important structural insights in designing of potent antibacterial agents. Several alternative models which have possibility to express the correlation betwen biological activity and electronic parameters, ”The best model” is represented by a linear function of activity versus atomic net charges of C2&C3 and E-Homo,E-lumo,dipole moment (µ),and Total Energy (Ee) is axpressed by:Log(1/C) = 114,614 (±28,461) + 505,362 (±149,739) qC2 +  247,641(±47,025)qC3 + 0,819(±0,379) E-Homo + 93,404 (±25,997)E-Lumo + -24,982(±6,066)µ + -0,002(±0,000).ET The cross validation analisys give minimal value of PRESS = 106,231and SEP = 3,435Key Words : QSAR, antibacterial, n-alkyl imidazole, Cross Validation Method

    A Research About Activity of Ethanol of Pearl Grass (Hedyotis corymbosa) On The Imunoglobulin M (IgM) by Hemaglutination Method Had Been Conducted of Male Mice. This research purpose to established of activity imunoglobulin M (IgM) from ethanol extract of pearl grass (Hedyotis corymbosa). Mice is animal that used for this research,The mice was divided into 4 treatment groups, where each group consisted of 3 mice. The first group as negative control, and each group was given Sheel Red Blood Cell (SRBC) 2 % as many 0,1 ml intraperitonially, after that negative control group was administrated with air sulingt, and other group was administrated with ethanol extract  dose 26 mg, 78 mg, dan 130 mg for five days. The blood from all group was collected by intracardial after five days. The activity of imunoglobulin M (IgM) was measured by hemaglutination method based on titer of the imunoglobulin M (IgM) there was highest dilution of mice blood serum in which aglutination was showed. Research result showed   Ethanol extract of Pearl Grass (Hedyotis corymbosa) at 26 mg, 78 mg, and 130 mg dose, can increased imunoglobulin M (IgM) activity.Key words : Imunoglobulin M, Hedyotis corymbosa, Hemaglutination Metho

    The analysis of Cuprum (Cu) and Cadmium (Cd) content had been done of Kakap fish  (Lates calcalifer)  in Tope Jawa and Satanga Island. This research aim to analyse and determine the quantity of Cuprum (Cu) and Cadnium (Cd) of Kakap fish  (Lates calcalifer)  by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). This research was done by dry destruction both types of the metal, then the result of destruction dissolved in acid. Its result then analysed qualitative by specific reaktan and analysed quantitative by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry of wavelength 324,8 nm for the Cuprum and 228,8 nm for the Cadmium.     Study on the effect of compound cofactor and stability to enzyme activity of β-1 ,3-glucanase has been done. This study used bacterial isolates B. licheniformis HSA3-1a isolated from a hot spring Sulili Pinrang as a source of the enzyme β-1 ,3-glucanase. Isolation of enzyme made after bacterial are activated and cultured in fermentation medium, pH 7,0 and temperature of 50 0C for 4 days. The resulting enzyme performed activity assay. Activity of enzyme assays performed by adding the compound cofactor MgCl2, CaCl2, CuCl2, CoCl2, and ZnCl2 at different concentrations (0.25, 0.5, and 1.0) mM. To determine the stability of the enzyme made by varying the incubation time (0, 30, 60, 90, 120 and 180) minutes. The result showed that the cofactors of compounds that can serve as an activator for the enzyme β-1 ,3-glucanase from B. licheniformis HSA3-1a is MgCl2 and CaCl2 at a concentration of 0:25 mM, 0.5 mM and 1.0 mM.     INTERAKSI FAKTOR POLIMORPHISME GEN ENDHOTELIAL NITRIC OXIDE SINTASE (eNOS) DENGAN FAKTOR – FAKTOR RESIKO TERHADAP PREGNANT INDUCED HYPERTENSION (PIH)

    The aim of the study was to discover the effect of interaction polymorphism endhotelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) polymorphism gene with mother’s age, parity, and body mass index (BMI) on the incidence of Pregnant Induced Hypertension (PIH) using a nested case control study. The number of subjects was 29 pregnant mothers whose pregnancy was  ≥ 20  weeks. The examination of endotelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) polymorphism gene was done by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) modified by Rigat. The result of the study indicate that the nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) polymorphism gene of genotype GG the risk more than the genotype non GG. Genotype GG 1,8 means that the risk for hypertension is high, and the age less than 20 years and over 35 years has 3,78 times risk for PIH, while at the multípara , the risk is 2,16 times compared to the primípara. So that at the high BMI , the risk is 1,67 times compared to the normal BMI.  Interaction of the genotype GG and ages 35 years  have risk for PIH will have a greater risk for PIH than another of the interaction genotype non GG, parity, and BMI. Interaction between gene factor with environment will enlarge risk suffer PIH.Keyword : Pregnant induced hypertension, mother’s age, parity, BMI, eNOS gen polymorphism.

    Fermentation  from jackfruit seeds (Artocarpus heterophyllus) through the Process Using Acid Hydrolysis. Bioethanol is ethanol fermentation process biomass results with the help of microorganisms. Raw materials for bioethanol is sugary materials, starchy and fibrous. This study tries  to make bioethanol from jackfruit seeds (Artocarpus heterophyllus) which is a starchy material. during these jackfruit seeds into consumption only partly public and partly not used. The purpose of this study was to determine the optimum concentration of H2SO4on the hydrolysis process and determine the optimum fermentation time in the fermentation process. The process of making ethanol in two steps, namely acid hydrolysis and fermentation. Cassava peel hydrolyzed by using a solution of H2SO4 in a variety of variable concentrations (0.1, 0.5 and 1 M) at a temperature of 100oC for 1 hour. Then a solution of the hydrolysis fermented with various variables days (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 days). The result showed that the optimum concentration of H2SO4 solution for the hydrolysis reaction is 1 M at a temperature of 100oC for 1 hour and the optimum fermentation time in the fermentation process is on day 4 where the produced ethanol at 13,19% v/v. Key words : Fermentation, Artocarpus heterophyllus, Hydrolysi

    The screening studies have been carried out antimicrobial activity of herb Belimbing Tanah (Oxalis corniculata L.) extracts from Mamuju West Sulawesi that purpose to got data about activity of Belimbing Tanah (Oxalis corniculata L.) extract based on antimicrobial screening of some microbes in the Bioautography-TLC test and agar diffusion.The result screening of antimicrobial activity by Bioautography-TLC,showed that  dietil eter extract of belimbing tanah (Oxalis corniculata L.) give antimicrobial activity to bacteri Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus mutans, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Salmonella thypi, Escherichia coli, Vibrio sp, and fungus Candida albicans  with a profile chromatogram using the eluent n-hexane: ethyl acetate Rf value of 0.45 obtained. And the screening of antimicrobial activity of the juice belimbing tanah (Oxalis corniculata L.) at a concentration of 25%, 50% and 75% in the diffusion in order to obtain an average diameter of zone of resistance to the bacteria Staphylococcus aureus = 14:00 mm, Streptococcus mutans = 15.00 mm, Salmonella thypi = 24.66 mm, Escherichia coli = 19.99 mm, Vibrio sp = 17.77 mm, and fungus Candida albicans = 15.00 mm. Keyword : Oxalis corniculata L., Screening of antimicrobial, Mamuj

    Identification of morphology and spesific parameters from simplicia and rosella leaf's extract (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.). From regency of Enrekang, South Sulawesi. Identification of morphology and spesific parameters from simplicia and rosella leaf's extract have been done. The aim of this research is to know morphology and to get data of spesific parameters from simplicia and rosella leaf's extract (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.). Morphology test showed that rosella leaf's had spesific characteristic, i.e had red nervatio, had three palmatifidus leaf and their edge of leaf was serrated. Microscopic test of simplicia showed that the shape of their xilem was spiral and ladder, mesophyl, had thick trachoma, Ca.oksalat shaped sand, fibers sklerenkim, oil cells, epidermis and, diasitik stomata type, cortical parenchyma and lymph lysogen. Chemical identification of rosella leaf's powder showed that lignin, cathecol, aleuron, and flavanoid. Spesific parameters of extract showed that water soluble compound was 6,6203% and ethanol soluble acompund was 18,6992%. Identification of chemical group used Thin Layer Chromatography that sprayed by spesific reagent showed that the extract contained terpenoid and flavonoid.Key word : Identification, morphology, Hibiscus sabdariffa

    FORMULASI SHAMPO KRIM CAIR DARI KOMBINASI EKSTRAK DAUN WARU (Hibiscus tiliaceus L.) DAN SARI BUAH JERUK NIPIS (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle.)

    Leaves of hibiscus (Hibiscus tiliaceus L.) is widely used by communities to nourish the hair while the juice of lime (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle.) used to eliminate dandruff. Its use is directly less practical than if formulated in the form of shampoo. Cream shampoo formulation development using emulgator sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium hydroxide-coconut oil and the carbopol with concentration  0.1% 0.3% and 0.5%. This study aims to determine the formula that has the most optimal stability. The evaluation was done by testing the stability of organoleptis, homogeneity, determination of pH, type of emulsion, creaming volume, viscosity and size of the dispersed drops before and after accelerated storage. The results show the entire formula is stable because it does not experience phase separation, but the formula that stability is the most optimal use of sodium lauryl sulfate emulgator and karbopol with a concentration of 0.1% because it has a different viscosity and yield value are not significant (α = 0.5).
