PENELUSURAN POTENSI MIKROBA ENDOFIT DARI RIMPANG PAKU KEPALA TUPAI (Drynaria quercifolia J.Smith) SEBAGAI PENGHASIL SENYAWA ANTIBIOTIKA
Get PDFThis research object to obtain abd determine the activity of antibiotics microbial isolates from endophyticpakukepalatupai (Drynariaquercifolia J. Smith) as a producer of antibiotic compounds. Methods research is using the method in a medium cast nutrient agar and potato dextrose agar with a dilution of 10-1 to 10-5. Result showed that there were 5 active isolates on thosetwo medium, identification of isolates bacterial and fungi. Then, the bacteria and fungi isolates purified by quadrant method on nutrient agar and potato dextrose agar medium were in mikroskopic. To produce antibiotic compound fermentation carried out by maltose yeast broth. The results of testing the activity of an antibiotic fermentation with agar diffusion method, results showed that the bacterial active against Bacillus subtilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Streptococcus mutans, Escherichia coli and fungal isolates aktifagains candida albicans. Identification of endophyte microbe isolates carried out by gram staining. ANALISIS KANDUNGAN PEMANIS BUATAN PADA SARI BUAH MARKISA PRODUKSI MAKASSAR
Get PDFAn investigation on analyse of artificial sweeteners saccharin and cyclamate content has been done in Markisa essence beverage production in Makassar. The aim was to determinet the quantity of the sweeteners contained in the beverages. Four branded of the beverages that has been taken from several Supermakets in Makassra as the sample’s. quantitative analyse has done by spesific reagent mean while quantitative analyse by means of UV-Visible Spectrofotometry upon saccharin and Gravimetry method upon cyclamate. Result on quantitative test shown that these four sample’s containing these two artificial sweetenes. Quantitative test upon these four samples the concentration of saccharin was mero than the concetration that estabilished bt the departement of health and for cyclamate was met the requirement by the departement.Key words : Saccharin, Cyclamate, Markisa Essence Beverages Production, Makassar
FORMULASI SABUN CAIR PENCUCI TANGAN YANG MENGANDUNG EKSTRAK DAUN KEMANGI (Occimum basilicum L.)
Get PDFA study about formulation Handwash liquid soap which contain etanol extract of occimum folium (Ocimum basilicum L.). Has been conducted. This study aims to product the stable formulation of handwash liquid soap which contain etanol extract of occimum folium (Ocimum basilicum L.).This study was conducted using three variations of viscosity agent. Then do some test with storage method with organoleptic parameters, pH, foaming test, viscosity and type of flow, before and after imposed conditions.Organoleptic test result showed theres no change at II and III, test showed that is stable because still at soap pH before and after imposed condition. Statistical analysis of viscosity test showed there is difference for each formula before and after storage condition. Yield value showed difference yield value before and after strorage condition and at formula there no difference. At rheogram curve theres coincides at formula III before and after imposed condition. For foaming test , three formula is stable because theres have a good foam. The conclusion is the stable handwash liquid soap is formula III. Roxb.) using DPPH.The of research aims is determine the radical scavenging activity of sea lettuce tree based on the binding of free radical DPPH. Was conducted the research on test radical scavenging activity of sea lettuce tree (Scaevola taccada (Gaertn.) Roxb.) and then compared with the radical scavenging activity Vitamin C. Five thousand grams of sea lettuce tree (Scaevola taccada (Gaertn.) Roxb.) extraced by maceration using ethanol. Dry ethanol extract was partitioned with solid-liquid partition, using diethyl ether and then tested for activity and was obtained radical scavenging IC50 value 27,06 µg/mL.Key Word : Radical Scavenging, Scaevola taccada, DPP
ANALISIS KANDUNGAN ASPARTAM YANG TERDAPAT PADA MINUMAN JAJANAN ANAK SEKOLAH YANG BEREDAR DI MAKASSAR DENGAN METODE HPLC
Get PDFThis research have done of Aspartame compound in seven kinds of beverage of the student which turn in elementary school with tehe mean that to analyze Aspartame compound in beverage and have purpose to determine the concentration of Aspartame in beverage. As a comparison used the main of Aspartame with purity about 98,38%. The sample is weigh about 10 gram in a flask 50 ml, and then diluted with mobile phase is sodium dihydrogen phosphate and acetonitrile (82.5 : 17.5)ml and then it’s filtered by membrane filter 0,45 um. The result are sonicated and to injection about 20 ml to in colomn with rate of flow 1,2 mk/min and λ 210 nm. The sample is analyzed by HPLC method. The analyzed showed that the average concentration of Aspartame by calculating linear regression equation contained in the sample A. 7.5658 mg/kg, B. 198.3445 mg/kg, C. 257.8844 mg/kg, D. 226.5515 mg/kg, E. 0 mg/kg, F. 45.5389 mg/kg, G. 140.3748 mg/kg which is still below the standard of 600 mg/kg. UJI AKTIVITAS IMUNOGLOBULIN M (IgM) KELINCI JANTAN (Oryctolagus cuniculus) AKIBAT PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PRODUK MADU
Get PDFThe objective was to study the effect of natural pure honey on the immunoglobulin M (IgM) antibody activity against sheep red blood cells (SRBCs) antigen ini male rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus) using the hemoagglutination method. Three different honey products with 2,1 ml/kg body weight given orally twice a day for 5 days. Then each animal was injected intraperitoneally with 2,8 ml of 2% SRBCs. At day 7 after the immunization, serum were collected from the blood samples to know which highest dilution value of rabbit serum still showing agglutination reaction. The result of the the statistical analysis using the Complete Random Device ( CRD) method and than continued with the Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) method shows that the administration of three different honey products significantly increase Immunoglobulin M (IgM) activity against SRBCs. GAMBARAN URINALISA PASIEN HIPERTENSI RAWAT INAP DAN RAWAT JALAN DI RUMAH SAKIT LABUANG BAJI
Get PDFA research has been done about urinalysis profile on patient hypertension inpatient and outpatient at Labuang Baji Hospital was performed. The aim of this research was to determine urinalysis profile on hypertension patient. This research is an descriptive study with cross sectional method with total amount of sample was 30 samples. The research result showed that hypertension patient who have hypertension grade 1 found on 23 (76.7%) people and there were 7 (23.3%) people who have hypertension grade II with urinalysis profile as the following, the most numerous age groups were 46-50 years old (50.0%), where females (66.7%) most numerous than males (33.3%) and the most numerous hypertension grade I found on inpatient (84.2%) than the outpatient (63.6%) and most numerous hypertension grade II found on inpatient (36.4%) than outpatient (15.8%). Urinalysis profile in hypertension grade I almost same with hypertension grade II but there was difference profile in hypertension grade II such as protein, ascorbic acid increase compared hypertension grade I.Key words: Urinalysis, hypertension, glucose, protein, ascorbic aci
UJI TOKSISITAS FRAKSI n-BUTANOL BERUWAS LAUT (Scaevola taccada (Gaertn.) Roxb.) DENGAN METODE BRINE SHRIMP LETHALITY TEST
Get PDFThe research on Toxicity Test Of n-Butanol Fraction Beruwas Laut (Scaevola taccada (Gaertn.) Roxb.) Using Brine Shrimp Lethality Test Method an investigation with larvaes Artemia salina Leach as test animal which is intended to potential toxic test. Each treatment is done the replication of research 3 times of the fraction n-butanol beruwas laut concentration are 0,1 μg/ml, 1 μg/ml, 10 μg/ ml, 100 μg/ml and solvent control n-butanol by same concentration. The result is against larvae that died 24 hours after component test was given. Through the data, LC50 value of n-butanol fraction Beruwas Laut (Scaevola taccada (Gaertn.) Roxb.) was analyzed by probit analysis. This research indicated concentration of fraction n-butanol of beruwas laut (Scaevola taccada (Gaertn.) Roxb.) could kill larvae by the concentration of 0,1 μg/ml, 1 μg/ml, 10 μg/ml and 100 μg/ml. The result of probit analysis indicated that LC50 value of fraction Beruwas Laut of (Scaevola taccada (Gaertn.) Roxb.) was 12,16 ± 11,23 µg/mL. Research result and probit analysis indicated that n-butanol fraction of beruwas laut (Scaevola taccada (Gaertn.) Roxb.) toxic characteristic by LC50 value was 12,16 ± 11,23 µg/ml. The aim of this research was to describe about using system so obtained TBC drugs which used in the Tuberculosis Drugs Using-System in the Balai Besar Kesehatan Paru Masyarakat Makassar (BBKPM) Period January 2011 – June 2011. The data taking prospectly via all the tuberculosis patient medical record in the Tuberculosis Drugs Using System in the Balai Besar Kesehatan Paru Masyarakat Makassar (BBKPM) Period January 2011 – June 2011 obtained 30 patients. The result of this research can be concluded that from the regiment side, about 96,7% Tuberculosis patients which treatment in the Balai Besar Kesehatan Paru Masyarakat Makassar (BBKPM) Period January 2011 – June 2011 were category 1 and the residual was category 3. While the side of combination with the other drug, giving combination dominated about 96,7%. While if the give single drug about 3,3%. The frequency of the other drug usage was dextromethorphan about 90% and the smaller was pyridoxin about 10%.Key Word : Using System, Tuberculosis Drugs, BBKP
IDENTIFIKASI DAN PENETAPAN KADAR SILDENAFIL SITRAT PADA JAMU KUAT LELAKI YANG BEREDAR DI KOTA MAKASSAR
Get PDFA studies have been conducted identifying and determining the levels of sildenafil citrate in men vitality herbs that marketed in twon of makassar. This study aims to determine the presence of drugs chemicals substances (BKO) in men vitality herbs that is sildenafil citrate with TLC–Densitometry method. Herbal samples extracted using methanol solvent. Identification test by thin layer chromatography (TLC) using a mobiloe phase of chloroform – ethanol (9.5 : 0,5) indicates that the herbal sample were compared with comparator compounds contains sildenafil citrate. Assay done using a TLC-Densitometry at a maximum wavelength of 292 nm. The results showed levels of sildenafil citrate in men vitality herbs was 0,00827 g/100 g or 0,00827 % per capsule.Key Words : Identifying, Determining, Sildenafil Citrate, Men Vitality Herb
