ANALISIS KADAR PROTEIN DAN LEMAK PADA IKAN JULUNG-JULUNG ASAP (Hemiramphus far) ASAL KECAMATAN KAYOA MALUKU UTARA DENGAN METODE KJELDAHL DAN GRAVIMETRI
Content Analysis of Protein And Fats In fish smoked julung-julung (Hemiramphus far) Origin of North Maluku, Subdistrict Kayoa with Kjeldahl Method and Gravimetri Method. An investigation of analysis of protein and fat content in fish smoked julung-julung (Hemiramphus far) Origin Of North Maluku,District kayoa with kjeldahl method and gravimetri method. This study aimed to obtain scientific data about the content of protein and fat in fish smoked julung-julung (Hemiramphus far).This includes research on the protein nitrogen content of the test by Kjeldahl Method and analysis of fat content by using the method showed that the levels Gravimetri. The result showed that the samples of smoked fish fated to be unlucky-fated to unlucky (Hemiramphus far) obtained A water content of 13,90%, protein content of 71,03% and fat content 4,13% and in fish simple fated to be unlucky-fated to unlucky (Hemiramphus far) obtained B water content of 14,07%, protein content of 71,67% and fat content 5,38%.Keywords : Smoked fish julung-julung, protein, fat, kjeldahl and gravimetri
TOXICITY TEST DIETHYL ETHER EKSTRACT Oxalis corniculata L. HERB ON BRINE SHRIMP LETHALITY TEST METHOD
Recearch toxicity effect of standar dietil eter ekstract Oxalis corniculata L. herb at Artemia salina Leach with purpose to determine toxicity potencial and LC50 value Oxalis corniculata L. herb on brine shrimp lethality test method. The result of this research shows that diethyl ether ekstract Oxalis corniculata L. herb at concentration 100, 50, 5, 1, 0.5, 0.1, 0.05, 0.01 µg/ml and controler is diethyl ether. Presentation data of Artemia salina Leach larvae was analyzed with probit analysis to count LC50. Ekstract is toxic if LC50 value < 1000 µg/ml. So obtained that diethyl ether ekstrak Oxalis corniculata L. herb is toxit to Artemia salina Leach larvae with LC50 4,17± 2,59 µg/ml. PENATALAKSANAAN HIPERPLASIA GINGIVA DISEBABKAN OLEH PENGGUNAAN AMLODIPINE : Sebuah Laporan Kasus
Introduction: gingival hyperplasia is a result of administration from some anticonvulsant drugs, immunosuppressants, and calcium channel blockers that well known can cause problems when speaking, mastication, tooth eruption, and aesthetic. Calcium channel blockers are a class of drugs developed for the care of cardiovascular conditions. Some of these drugs can cause gingival enlargement. Case: A 55-year-old female patient came to Periodontal Department of Hasanuddin University Dental Hospital,Makassar. Patients present with a less comfortable and did not feel confident with the condition of the front of the upper jaw gums since three months ago. These symptoms begin to be felt since taking drugs for hypertension disease with amlodipine with 10 mg 1 time a day. The patient began to feel a change in the form of excessive enlargement of the gums almost the entire upper jaw teeth. Management of Case: Disinfection area of operation, anesthesia with lidocaine 2% of nor epinephrine, marking the pocket using the pocket marker basis, incision using Krickland knife, removal of gingiva using papilla Orban knife and performed by scaling and root planing, periodontal pack was used. Conclusion: Patients who took the drug amlodipine as calcium channel blocker classification in the long-term directly effects the growth of excess gingival tissue, causing gingival enlargement. UJI AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN SIRSAK (Annona muricata L) PADA TIKUS PUTIH (Rattus norvegicus) DIABETES MELITUS YANG DIINDUKSI ALOKSAN DENGAN PARAMETER MALONDIALDEHID (MDA)
Hyperglycemia in Diabetes can caused the excessive production of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) in the body that will causes oxidative stress that tissue damage. Oxidative stress can indicated by increasing MDA levels. This research aims to know and determine the concentration ethanol extract of soursop leaves that have antioxidant activity to MDA levels in diabetic rats. 9 white rats were divided into 3 groups. All rats were induced by alloxan 110mg/Kg.BB intraperitoneally. Group I was administered with Na.CMC as a negative control, group II and III were administered with ethanol extract of soursop leaves 2,5% and 5%. Administration were given orally for 12 days orally. Examination of blood glucose and MDA levels conducted before and after the administration. MDA Assay performed with TBA method was based on reaction of MDA-TBA as measured on a spectrophotometer 532 nm wavelength. The results were analysized statistically by using randomized block design (RBD) method. Based on the research has been done, it was showed that the ethanol extract of soursop leaves can lower blood glucose levels of diabetic rats and extract with concentration of 5% has potential as an antioxidant activity that can reduce MDA levels in diabetic rat
UJI EFEK ANTIINFLAMASI EKSTRAK n-HEKSAN DAUN BERUWAS LAUT (Scaevola taccada (Gaertn.) Roxb) PADA MENCIT JANTAN (Mus musculus) YANG DIINDUKSI DENGAN KARAGEN
This research about antiinflammation effect from n-hexane extract of Beruwas Laut leaves (Scaevola taccada (Gaertn.) Roxb.) in male mice (Mus musculus) was conducted, the aim was assay the antiinflammation effect of Beruwas Laut leaves done extract based on decrease in edema volume of foot palm male mice. This research using 15 male mice that evaluated and divided into 5 groups that each group has 3 mice. In group I, diclofenac sodium as the compare administrated. In groups II, III, dan IV, n-hexane Extract of Beruwas Laut leaves in concentration of 2,5%, 5% and 7,5% administrated. In group V, 1% Na-CMC as negative control administrated. Induction carried out by injection 1% w/v carrageen 0,1 ml subcutan on the feet palm of mice. One hour later each group administered the preparation test 1 ml/30 gBW orally. The measurement of edema volume carried out prior and after administration of the tested preparation 0, 30, 60, 90, and 120 minutes. The data correlation between induction and antiinflammation effect analysed. Result indicated variety with n-hexane extract of Beruwas Laut leaves have the antiinflammation effect at concentration 7,5%. Key Word : Antiinflammation, Scaevola taccada (Gaertn.) ANALISA PERBANDINGAN OBAT ANTIHIPERTENSI (OHT) DENGAN KEJADIAN POLA TEKANAN DARAH NONDIPPERS PADA PENDERITA HIPERTENSI TANPA STROK ISKEMIK
The pattern of blood pressure hypertensive nondippers is one of the factors that increase the risk of suffering from cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disorders , but the effect of antihypertensive drugs work period ( OHT ) relating to the type of the pattern of blood pressure in patients with hypertension hypertensive nondippers still not widely studied . This study aims to analyze the working relationship with the incidence pattern of antihypertensive drug blood pressure hypertension nondippers in patients with post- acute stroke ischemic stroke with and without hypertension . The method used was a cross -sectional study with 60 samples ( 30 hypertensive patients with ischemic stroke and 30 patients with hypertension as a control ) of the Hospital Dr . WahidinSudirohusodo Makassar and its network in 2013 . The results showed chi-square test patterns obtained blood pressure in hypertensive nondippers larger user group types ACEI captopril group OAH 18 ( 94.7 % ) with grades ( p > 0.05 ) with OR = 4.6 . It can be concluded that there are patterns of blood pressure hypertension incidence nondippers against ischemic stroke incidence was greater in OHT group ACEI types captopril group , although not significantly
EVALUASI ADVERSE DRUG REACTIONS DAN EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN KETOROLAK PADA PASIEN PASCA BEDAH SARAF DI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM PENDIDIKAN DR. WAHIDIN SUDIROHUSODO MAKASSAR
Pain is often experienced by patients treated in the hospital and is the most frequently reported events in post-surgical patients. Ketorolac associated with the incidence of adverse reactions include, the incidence of acute renal failure and bleeding disorders. The purpose of the study was to observe and report on the profile of adverse reactions include the use of ketorolac on renal function and hemostasis as well as the effectiveness of the analgesic ketorolac. A total of 20 patients who received ketorolac compared to the value of the glomerular filtration rate (GFR), bleeding time (BT), Blood Clotting Time (CT), prothrombin time (PT) and International Normalized Ratio (INR) between before and after patients received ketorolac. Compared to the value of the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) ranging V day I to day administration of ketorolac. One of 20 patients (5%) who use ketorolac for 5 days had decreased GFR by 66.70%.. Whereas for hemostasis testing showed that ketorolac can influence hemostatic seen from increasing on BT (0,04; p 0,05). Conclusion. incidence of renal damage incident occurred at 5%, and may affect hemostatic function in patients. The reasearch test effect anthypercholesterolemia Chytosan Windu Shrimp Shell with aimed to know the effect to decrease the total blood cholesterol degree on adult rabbit. These research include 3 group, namely 1 group of control and 2 groups of examined namely chytosan 5% and 10% w/v. The observation applied with measure of the total blood cholesterol degree on adult rabbit before induction of cholesterol, then inducted of cholesterol as long as 7 days, then observed cholesterol degree, and then its gived chytosan 400 mg/kgBB (5%w/v) and 800 mg/kgBB (10%w/v) at the 8th and measured again of the total blood cholesterol degree after examined Chytosan at concentration 400 mg/kgBB (5%w/v) dan 800 mg/kgBB (10%w/v), conduct decreasing of total blood cholesterol degree on adult rabbit. Analysis content of β-carotene for Sawi hijau (Brassica juncea L coss) and sawi putih (Brassica pekinensia L) By Spectrophotometri Visible. A heve applied of research about contentof β-carotene in two quality of sawi namely sawi hijau (Brassica juncea L coss) and sawi putih (Brassica pekinensia L). For to Analysis and senelles content β-carotene in sawi. Sawi sample to be extraction in demarcation by acetone. The result of extraction to extract agein with petroleum eter and applied safonification with KOH 15 %. Qualitative analysis applied with Chromatography method in thin layer using petroleum eter:Benzen (9:1). The result it showing there are spot which same on two samples and β-carotene pure as the compere. PRODUKSI SEDIAAN KOMBUCHA DARI DAUN PERMOT (Passiflora foetida L) SECARA FERMENTASI
A research has been done about profit of permot leaves (Passiflora foetida L.) by using culture of kombucha with the aim to know the use of permot leaves (Passiflora foetida L.) as preparation of kombucha in a fermentation. Permot dried leaves boiled in 1000 ml water until boiling then got extract of permot. Extract of permot leaves added with 100 gram glucose and 10% of inoculum kombucha culture then fermented for 5 – 12 days. The results of kombucha preparation from permot leaves then testing with organoleptic, measuring pH and total acid test. Based of the results in preparation kombucha permot leaves (Passiflora foetida L.) showed that the color-test organoleptic with hedonic method was obtained values 2.5, flavor 1.9, and taste 2.4. pH measurement before fermentation is 4 and after that is 3 with total acid of 0.66%.
