    The Research Chromatogram Profile Of Activities Antibacterial Extracts Isolates Marine Fungi in Algae Kappaphycus alvarezii by TLC Bioautography has been done with the intention of doing the screening test of pathogenic bacteria that can be inhibited by the extract of F3 (extract liquid culture and extract mycelia) and extracts of E (extract liquid culture and extract mycelia ) and see chromatogram profile of liquid culture extract of F3 on bacteria Escherichia coli and mycelia extract of E on bacteria Bacillus subtilis. This research was conducted purification of Fungi isolates E and F3 followed by fermentation process of fungi isolates for 3 weeks. Then proceed with the extraction process using an ethyl acetate solvent. The solvent was evaporated to obtain a dry extract, followed by a screening test of antibacterial activity against bacterial pathogenic, antibacterial activity test by TLC Bioautography to liquid culture extract of F3 and extract mycelia of E. The results of the screening test with a concentration of 250 µg was obtained to extract liquid culture of F3 and E provide activity against 5 pathogenic bacteria to extract mycelia while F3 and E provide activity against two bacterial pathogens. Separation of compounds by TLC using the ethyl acetate eluent: ethanol: water (8: 2: 1). The result of TLC Bioautography test of liquid culture extract of F3 to bacteria Escherichia coli and mycelia extract of E on bacteria Bacillus subtilis showed the existence of antibacterial activity

    Plants which have a potential effect as antihyperglycemic are papaya leaf and bay leaf. Papaya leaf and bay leaf have a bioactive flavonoid component, which was suggested to have reduction effect on blood glucose. The purpose of this research was to examine the effectiveness of papaya leaf and bay leaf extract, which have been formulated in tablet form to decrease blood glucose level on diabetic Sprague dawley rats induced by alloxan. Twenty male rats were divided into four groups, Each group consists of five rats, namely group I as a positive control (metformin 12.6 mg/200g BW), group II (oral tablet 1.282 mg/200g BW), group III (oral tablet 2.564 mg/200g BW) as extract treatment group, and group IV as negative control. The treatment was carried out for 28 days. The result of this research showed that tablet of papaya leaf and bay leaf extract can be used as antihyperglycemic with the most effective dose was 2.564 mg/200g BB (group III) and the treatment for twelve days

    An investigation has been conducted on the antimicrobial activities of extract teh hijau leaves (Camellia sinensis) and jati belanda leaves (Guazuma ulmifolia Lamk.) using TLC-Bioautography. The aom of this research is to test the antimicrobial activity of extract against some pathogen microbes. The preliminary research conducted screening test using several tipe of microbes including Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella typhi, Shigella dysentriae, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Strepthococcus mutans, and Vibrio cholera. The screening results of extract inhibited almost all of pathogen microbies, except Bacillus subtilis and Staphylococcus aureus for extract teh hijau leaves and Vibrio cholera, Staphylococcus aureus, and Escherichia coli for extract jati belanda leaves. The research was continued with the antimicrobial activity against severeral microbes at different Rf and the result showed that the higher inhibited at Staphylococcus epidermidis Rf 0,02 and Shigella dysentriae Rf 0,49, 0,73 and 0,8 for teh hijau leaves, Pseudomonas aeruginosa Rf 0,02 dan 0,49 for jati belanda leaves. That extracts have antimicrobial activity to several pathogen microbes, so that are can use as one of alternative antimicrobial

    Olive oil contains vitamin E which is a natural antioxidant that is effective to prevent premature aging. The aims of the research was to obtained the most stable gel formulation of polyfloral honey phamaceutically.Physical stability evaluation carried out to in which the parameters were organoleptic, viscosity measurement, homogeneity, spreedability, pH, and flowing type, at 5oC and 35oC for 12 hours on each temperature for 10 cycles.Organoleptic assay showed that there was on change in color, odor, and concistency of all formula. Based on statistic analyses by Randomized design exhibited a significant change during storage. Homogeneity test showed that all formula posses even particle distribution. Spreedability test showed that all formula there were changes in viscosity. Based on rheogram exhibited thixotrophy-plastic flow type. From physical evaluation obtained formula B of gel was the must stable (Base gel of HEC). Based on release of active substances formula B of gel (Base gel of HEC) showed the highest release of active substances

    Antibacterial activity test has been done on Phytocrenemacrophylla Blume stem ethanol extracts. The aim of the research was to determine the antibacterial activity of  Phytocrenemacrophylla Blume Stem Ethanol extracts delivered from Gowa District of South Sulawesi by means of Agar Diffusion. The results of the screening antibacterial activity of ethanol extracts of stem Phytocrenemacrophylla Blume possessed activity against Escherichia coli, Streptococcus mutans, and Pseudomonas aeroginosa. At the minimum inhibitory concentration tests used the concentrations of 0,2%, 0,4%, 0,6%, 0,8%, 1%, 5%, 10%, and 15% of the bacteria Streptococcus mutans, Pseudomonas aeroginosa, and Escherichia coli can inhibit 0,2%. At the minimum kill concentration test against the bacteria Streptococcus mutans and Pseudomonas aeroginosa inhibited at the concentration of 0,8% and the bacteria Escherichia coli at the concentration of 1%. The test results of antibacterial activity of ethanol extract of stem Phytocrenemacrophylla Blume at the concentrations of 0.8%, 1%, and 5% inhibited the growth of bacteria. The biggest inhibitory zone of the test conducted, that is, at the concentration of 5% by 16 mm against to the bacteria Pseudomonas aeroginosa and Streptococcus mutans, and 14 mm to Escherichia coli

    The increasing number of deaths caused by infection encourage researchers conduct early stage in the search for new antibiotics to resolve the issue. This study aims to isolate microbes aktinomicetes contained in karst areas of Bantimurung-tourist park district South Sulawesi province to see the antimicrobial inhibitory activity. The initial stage to get new antibiotics, researcher isolated, identified, characterized and tested the antimicrobial activity of isolates to be studied. One of microbes widely studied to be taken of its active compound is aktinomycetes. The research phase is actinomycetes isolation, isolates purification, and testing isolates antagonistic  actinomycetes  to see  whether  there  is a power resistor formed. From the results obtained 8 isolates  actinomycetes isolation, but only 6 isolates that can be grown back properly. Six of isolates  actinomycetes obtained, tested antagonist was done to see  the activity of inhibitory  power. Two of active isolateswas  obtained  that have  inhibitory  against  several  microbes  that P. aeruginosa and S. aureus which is then coded isolates of K21 and K32

    The phytochemical screenings and analysis of chemical compounds in n-hexan extract, ethyl acetat extract and ethanol extract, of Agaricus bisporus with Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) has been carried out. Extraction process was performed with terraced maceration, identification of bioactive compound with thin layer chromatography.     Diarrhea is generally caused by the bacteria contamined in food and drink. If the bacteria are not the right treatment, it can be fatal and cause death. This research aimed to present the drug use on the diarrhea patient of hospitalized children ar RSUD Andi Djemma Masamba North Luwu district. This research used descriptive method  by collecting data retrospectively. The data were collected by searching the treatment  records given by doctors to diarrhea patient of hospitalized children. The data obtained included patient medical record number, sex, age, body temperature, therapy (drug name, dose, frequency, route of administration) and length of stay.  The result showed that the diarrhea drug use on children included antibiotic drugs(cotrimoxazole 4,3%, amoxicillin 2,9%, gentamicin 4,3%, cefotaxime 1.4%) antimicrobial (metronidazole 14,5%) zinc supplements 30,4%,probiotics 2,9%, antipyretics (paracetamol 34,8%) antiemetic (methoclopramide 1,5%) and antidispepsia (omeprazole 2,9%)

    AKTIVITAS ANTIFUNGI SARI DAUN PEPAYA (Carica papaya L.) TERHADAP Candida albicans

    A research had been done on antifungal activity of papaya leaf ekstract (Carica papaya L.) and the aim was to determine the antifungal activity and inhibitory potency. The research was started by screening  test using Candida albicans. Results showed  that the papayaleaf ekstract inhibited Candida albicans. The research was continued by Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) test by liquid dilution method in Potato Dekstrosa Broth medium toward, Candida albicans in concentration of MIC 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%. Result showed that papaya leaf ekstract (Carica papaya L.) has antifungal activity wich was indicated by the inhibitory zone diameter in concentration of 10%, 15%, and 20% respectively on Candida albicans

    FORMULASI SHAMPO CAIR TRANSPARAN SARI BUAH JERUK NIPIS (Citrus aurantifolia S.)

    The objective of this research was to determine a stable formula and determine the influence of carbopol enhancing in the preparation of lime extract (Citrus aurantifolia S.) transparent liquid shampoo (TLS). Shampoo made from TLS formulation lime extract in three different concentration of carbopol (0.5% : 0.6% : 0.7%). Shampoo were then characterized for stability test before and after accelerated storage include organoleptic test, the foam test, test the pH stability, viscosity measurements, and rheological. The result of organoleptic observation before and after accelerated storage, either formula with concentration of carbopol 0.5%, 0.6%, or 0.7%, did not show a change for the color, smell and consistency. There are no differences in foam test from TLS with shampoo preparations comparison. There are no change of PH test in TLS with concentration of carbopol 0.5%, 0.6%, or 0.7% before and after accelerated storage. There are no change of viscosity test in TLS with concentration of carbopol 0.5%, 0.6%, or 0.7% before and after accelerated storage. Third shampoo formula has plastic flow. Formulation of TLS with concentration of carbopol 0.5% have the most optimal stability than TLS with concentration of carbopol 0.6% and 0.7%.
