Stage of Knowledge of the Legislation Concerning Pine Forest Phytosanitary Protection
The issues concerning phytosanitary protection of forests generally speaking, and pine forests, particularly are in attention of scientists, in the field, worldwide. For this reason more concern is attribute to the regulations meant to rule the use of phytosanitary products used for maintaining the health of pine forests, and methodology of their administration. Our study aims to emphasize the degree of perception of aimed authorities, concerning the phytosanitary regulations connected to pine forest phytosanitary products. The methodology developed in this study concerns the means of sociological means, translated in bibliographical approach which involves the use of different documents, law texts, textbooks, and also the questionnaire instrument. As a result of our approach we highlight the most important issues meant to contribute to better protection of pine tree forests through an appropriate phytosanitary treatment, and also the most important issues concerning pine tree forests maintaining focused by the actors involved in their maintaining. The phytosanitary regulations play a decisive role in maintaining the health of forests, generally speaking and of pine tree forests, in particularly. They supply a general frame for appropriate treatments for suitable forest development
Researches Regarding the Spraying Uniformity of the TARAL 200 PITON TURBO Machine
Pest and disease control is an import technological link in order to maintain the health of the plantations and to obtain large amounts of high quality productions. Chemical control is the main method used in plant protection. Pesticides are applied on vegetation using sprayers specially designed for this purpose. Wear of the spray nozzle orifices, due to the hydroabrasion corrosion, leads to an uneven covering of the vegetation mass, with either untreated areas or overtreated ones. Before the start of each pest and disease control campaign, the nozzles should be tested in order to evaluate the uniformity of the liquid dispersion. In order to evaluate the dispersion uniformity for the TARAL 200 PITON TURBO spraying machine, a vertical stand was designed, fitted with 11 inclined troughs, each ending with a container for collecting the liquid. The tests were performed at different operating pressures, distances from the axis of the spraying machine, heights above the ground and fan speeds. The most uniform spray distribution was achieved for a height of 500 mm, for fan speeds of 800 and 1400 rev/min and for all the operating pressures and distances. For the height of 700 mm, uniformity was achieved for a speed of 1400 rev/min, for all operating pressures and for the distances of 1700, 1900 and 2100 mm
Phytotoxicity of Lead on Lolium perenne L and Lactuca sativa var. capitata L: Effects of Germination and Growth
Lead is one of the most important pollutants in the environment. Plants absorb lead when it is present in the environment. Lolium perenne L and Lactuca sativa var. capitata L are species used for toxicity tests. The experiments were performed with different concentrations of lead nitrate (0.05 g/L; 0.1g/L; 0.5 g/L; 1 g/L).Test targets refer to seeds germination, the growth of seedlings, fresh biomass weight, dry biomass weight and physiological parameter (dry weight/fresh weight; the quantity of dry mass from 100 g fresh weight) at seven and fourteen days. Lead toxicity inhibits germination of seeds and reduces the growth of seedlings. Lead can decrease germination percent, root length and strain length. Seedlings growth inhibition is not necessarily correlated with biomass reduction
Study of the Behavior of Black Currant Varieties and Elites against Diseases under the Climatic Conditions of Baia Mare
Current trends exhibited worldwide to replace some food and therapeutic products that were synthetically obtained with similar extracts from fruits and plants, put fruit shrubs into a new light. They are relatively easily adapting to various culture conditions and systems. Fruits of fruit shrubs are an important provider of raw material that is valuable for obtaining some natural products with high food value. The aim of this experimental study was to estimate the resistance off 17 elites of black currants versus the attack of the pathogen agents, in order to expand them in culture. The experimental study was performed at a farm in Coltau, located 12 km of Baia Mare. Their behavior against mildew, anthracnose and rust was monitored. The inspections were made during the years of 2011 and 2012, observing the leaves and calculating the frequency, intensity and attack degree. Among the 17 studied variants, the most resistant to mildew, anthracnose and rust proved to be the variant no.4, followed by the variants no.7, 8, 9, and 17, which are recommended to be extensively used in culture. The most sensitive plants were the variants 5 and 6 which had over 60% of leaves attacked on 25-50% of their surface. Higher anthracnose attack appeared at the elites no.10, 13, 15, 16, having over 20% of leaves attacked with the intensity of over 50%
Effect of mineral fertilization on the yield of maize in the climatic conditions from ARDS Turda
The importance of the maize fertilization system consists in its directly involvement in the plant growth and development processes conditioning the quantity, quality and economic level of the crops as well as the soil fertility status. Application of unilateral and combined fertilization with different doses of fertilizers and zeolite showed significant variations between experimental variants

EVALUATION OF A PLANT LIQUEUR IN RELATION TO ITS CHEMICAL COMPOSITION, LYCOPENE AND PHENOLIC CONTENT
Aromatic plants are widely used in different domains of herbal medicine, gastronomy, or even in alcohol industry. The present research aimed the valorisation of some indigenous plants as a plant liqueur. Objectives pursued were the biovalorisation of lycopene from tomatoes and the assessment of influence these aromatic plants give to the final product regarding the both chemical and volatile perspectives. The process followed the conventional technology, plants being subjected to the alcoholic maceration, with an adjusting of sugar content at the end of the process. The chemical assessment consisted of both the analysis on the raw material, as well as analyses on the final product. Total lycopene content was evaluated by spectometric method. Common physicochemical methods were applied for the alcohol concentration, total acidity, sugar content, dry matter, pH and volatile component, as expressed in esters content. In addition, total phenolic content was done by using Folin Ciocalteau method
Correlative Models between Balaton (B) and Atrium (E) Wheat Varieties, Nitrogen Doses and their Division in Seini - Maramures, 2009-2010
This study is intended to demonstrate that in the pedoclimatic conditions from Seini - Maramures, some that are not very favorable to the wheat crop, the productivity it can be easily increased by applying a new fertilization management scheme and by using wheat varieties of different categories, but with a great plasticity to biotic and abiotic factors from the research region. To analyze the reaction of Balaton and Atrium wheat varieties at a specific nitrogen management, the method of demonstration plots has been used, with 14 variants of nitrogen fertilization, in different dosages and application phases. Obtained results have been statistically processed. It has been observed that for both varieties the nitrogen fractionation doesn`t bring any increases at low doses (40-60 kg N/ha), but it is very efficient and demonstrated by the correlations performed at high doses (70-120 kg N/ha). Premium and A type wheat varieties, of provenance Austria, have been acclimatized and they can be successfully grown in the Seini area, as illustrated by the obtained yields
The Biology of Botrytis Cinerea Pers. Isolated from Different Geranium Varieties
In our experiments we have identified and isolated the pathogen Botrytis cinerea Pers. from geranium plants, we have inoculated it on three types of culture media (PDA, Czapek -agar, MA) and studied its morphological and cultural characteristics. The results obtained consist in differences in the morphology, number and distribution of the sclerotia and the dimensions of the conidia. The isolates taken under study showed a great phenotypic diversity influenced by the host plant and by the culture medium where they was grown
