FEAR OF FAILURE AS A BARRIER TO START-UP AND ITS EFFECTS ON ASPIRANT ENTREPRENEURS
Researchers have looked into the theory of planned behaviour from many angles as it has a number of applications. Its role in explaining the entrepreneurial intention has widely been acknowledged. Keeping in view, that the area still needs to be explored. Keeping this need in mind, this article investigates the association between entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial intentions among university students in Pakistan. Besides, the direct relationship between these two constructs, the study also examines the moderating role fear of failure of social embarrassment between the EE-EI link. In all, 223 questionnaires from first- and second-year students were analyzed using hierarchal regression. The prior studies on the EE-EI relationship have mainly focused on the developed economies and have overlooked the potential effect of FF that prevents the university students to create their own venture, even though they take the entrepreneurship course as compulsory subject. Thus, this study fills the gaps in the EI literature and examines the moderating role of FF in the subject relationship in the context of a developing country Pakistan. The findings of the study reveal that EE is positively and significantly linked with the EI. The findings also report that FF negatively moderates the well-established link between EE and EI. The study provides several avenues for future research on EI and EE
FACTORS AFFECTING HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PRACTICE IN UNIVERSITY LIBRARIES: A PAKISTANI PERSPECTIVE
The present research investigates how human resource management practices impacts the performance of library professionals working in Pakistani university libraries. Quantitative Research approach was used in this study. Pearson\u27s correlation coefficient (r) and multiple regression analysis are utilized to evaluate the relationships among the specified variables. Additionally, five hypotheses are developed and tested in order to uncover the connections between these variables. Findings of the study reflects that all hypotheses were rejected except for the fifth hypothesis, which asserts that "Decentralization is positively linked to the organizational performance of university libraries." It can be concluded that decentralization is indeed positively correlated with the organizational performance of university libraries in Pakistan. The strategic approach presented in this paper incorporates ideas and concepts from non-library contexts, amalgamating them to create a comprehensive solution that aligns with the contemporary goals of a library. The results of the study have the potentials to influence the overall performance of university libraries

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY STATUS AND ITS ASSOCIATION WITH NONCOMMUNICABLE DISEASES AMONG ADULT POPULATION OF SOUTH PUNJAB
Despite well-appreciated benefits of physical activity (PA), a huge number ofpeople do not indulge in sufficient PA, which is a well-known risk factor of theleading non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as hypertension, diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease and cancer. The study aimed to assessPA status and its association with NCDs among adult population of southPunjab. The cross-sectional analytical study was conducted. A total of 385adults of both genders, and residents of South Punjab were enrolled by clusterrandom sampling. The total of 385 participants, majority of the cases werevery young (18 – 25) years and the median age was 24.0 years. The frequencyof males was three times higher than females (77.1 % vs. 22.9 %). HTN wasfound in 4.9 % participants, DM in 7.5 %, hypercholesterolemia in 6.0 %, andCVD in 3.1 %. The frequency of individuals reporting work related PA ofvigorous intensity was 22.9 %, work related PA of moderate intensity was 51.9%, leisure time PA of vigorous-intensity was 21.6 %, leisure time PA ofmoderate intensity was 46.5 %, and travel related PA was 70.9 %. Gendermale, urban residence, being married, no formal education, and beingemployed were significantly related with HTN. Similarly, being married, occupation homemaker, and travelling through personal car were significantlyrelated with DM. Differently gender male, rural residence, being married, higher education, occupation homemaker, and smoking were significantlyrelated with hypercholesterolemia. Furthermore, being married, occupationhomemaker, and traveling through personal bike were significantly relatedwith CVD. It was concluded that those having any kind of PA at work orduring sports or even using bicycle or walk as activity had minimum chancesof any NCDs like HTN, DM, CVD or hypercholesterolemia and beingphysically active also causes to avoid obesity, which is base for many NCDs
Modeling of FRP Strengthened Masonry Wall under In-plane Lateral Loading
Masonry is an old and commonly used building material in the world. However, due to its brittle nature, it is vulnerable to earthquake loads. Strengthening of masonry walls with fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) sheets is one of the techniques used to strengthen masonry walls. Numerical analysis is crucial to study the behavior of structures under various boundary conditions. This paper aims to numerically study and analyze the effect of fiber reinforced polymer sheets. In particular, various geometrical configurations of the FRP sheets on masonry walls are analyzed using the finite element modeling (FEM) approach. ABAQUS software is used for the finite element modeling. A macro-modeling approach is adopted for modeling masonry, in which masonry is considered as homogenous and isotropic continuum. Carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) sheets with different patterns are applied on masonry walls. Different configurations include: single diagonal, vertical, horizontal and FRP lamina on the whole wall. Cohesive interaction is used for the bond between masonry and FRP sheets. The analysis is performed under in-plane loading condition. The numerical results indicate that tensile stresses from the masonry is taken by the FRP sheets which significantly increased the strength of the wall. Numerical results also revealed that among different patterns of FRP sheets on masonry wall, single diagonal FRP pattern was efficient and more economical

Female swimmers experienced skin problems more frequently as compared to the male swimmers. Â
COMPARATIVE STUDY AND ANALYSIS OF AUTOMOTIVE SUSPENSIONS SYSTEM
The purpose of this paper is to compare the Double Wishbone Leaf spring suspension system and the Macpherson Suspension system. On these suspension systems, ANSYS is used to achieve the goal of static structural analysis. Static loads are applied to the suspension system. The analyses, including structural analysis with static loading, to analyze the deflection, stress, and strain of the suspension systems, thorough which a complete comparative study can be accomplished.A MATLAB Simulink block diagram was developed for the analysis. The algorithm developed here can be used to analyze an automobile\u27s quarter car model using 2DOF, saving money on the circuit and rig testing.Vibrations induced by road disturbances are not conveyed to the driver by automotive suspension systems. To simulate this a quarter vehicle model with two degrees of freedom (DOF) is produced. The impact of a speed bump as a step function is examined for the overshoot and settling time of sprung mass. A sine function is also used to replicate the characteristics of a bumpy road surfac
IMPACT OF CORONAVIRUS ON EDUCATION SYSTEM IN PAKISTAN: PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS
Background of the study: The sudden rise of COVID pandemic and its speedy spread around the globe affected almost all walks of life particularly the education system in Pakistan. The lockdown in the entire country and closure of all education institutes put a gape in teaching learning process. It made the teachers and students away from each other, thus physical interaction of students and teacher in classrooms became a dream for both the students as well for the teachers at secondary level. The parents of the students were very worried for the study loss of their children but they were helpless. Therefore, the purpose and focus of this research paper was on the evaluation of literature available internationally to see what the status of covid pandemic in the world is and what type of strategy they have adopted to cope with the problem. Method: The nature of this research is evaluative, as it has been mentioned in the above lines that focus was on the available literature, Online overview was also driven for data collection to evaluate it, analyze it and to see the result of the closure of educational institutes due to Covid pandemic and its impact on secondary education system of Pakistan. Results: Key results extracted from literature were: It affected all walks of life particularly the education system at large. It wasted the precious time of the students by halting physical interactive classrooms. ICT stepped in to replace physical classrooms with online classrooms but this new approach had many other problems like, lack of experience, many of the teaching staff as well as the students in ICT, availability of the electronic gadgets to all the teachers and students. Thus availability of the net facility to all the teachers and students in the country was also a problem. Conclusion: It was concluded that online classes were not as useful as physical interactive classes. It does not facilitate the entire stakeholder equally. Online classes have many flaws for instance, availability of the devices, experience of its usage, and net accessibility. In online class it is difficult for the teachers to have hold on the class like in physical classes
