Strategi Pariwisata 4.0: Peran Milenial dalam Nation Branding Wonderful Indonesia 2016-2019
Get PDFABSTRACTGlobalization has had a significant impact on the development of world tourism. Technological developments in globalization have caused a shift in the industry paradigm from conventional industries to industry 4.0. From industry 4.0, the concept of tourism 4.0 emerged. Today, more and more countries are beginning to follow the concept of tourism 4.0 to develop their tourism industry to the international level. Indonesia is one of the countries implementing the 4.0 tourism concept as a strategy to develop its tourism industry through the Wonderful Indonesia nation branding. The tourism strategy 4.0 undertaken by Indonesia seeks to engage millennial to contribute to developing the Wonderful Indonesia branding nation. The aim is to increase the tourism market at both the domestic and international level. Get PDFABSTRACTThe strength of the United States in economic and military put him in the position in leadership as the most dominant actor after the outbreak of the First World War. The dominance showed in every decision and activity he participated in the political constellation and the global economy. One is through Bretton Woods System which is formed as well as the idea of the United States relating to the change and improvement of the structure of the post-war international monetary system. In the prewar period, the countries in the world more use gold as a single exchange rate system. But after the outbreak of the First World War, many countries experienced a decline in growth rates and instability in economic conditions due to the depleted gold reserves used to finance the war. The Bretton Woods System present to give enlightenment to all countries in order not to repeat the mistakes of the past which resulted in disruption of world economic structure. The system also managed to create international institutions such as the IMF, World Bank and WTO. The third institution initiated by the United States is the primary regulator in the respective proportions and play a role in promoting the liberalization of the economy. However, the Bretton Woods system did not last long because the great crisis facing the US in the 1970s led to the instability of the US domestic economic conditions that led to the collapse of the system which has been built for nearly half of the century.Keywords: United States, Bretton Woods System, liberal, economy, crisi

Get PDFABSTRACTThis research based on the condition of international peace and security that experiencing dynamic and volatile in many parts of the world. A conflict that paid international attention over the past 20 years is the Darfur conflict within the problem of ethnic background. The Darfur conflict has killed at least more than 500,000 people and left more than 750,000 residents to flee to other countries for reasons of security and a better life. Facing the fact that many people who become casualties in this protracted conflict, many international parties are urging the Sudanese government to immediately resolve its internal conflicts and offer help if needed. One of the international organization that assist handling of this conflict is the United Nations (UN). Through the Security Council, the UN established a peacekeeping operation called UNAMID which is a joint mission of peace between the United Nations and the African Union. Alasan Indonesia Meratifikasi ASEAN Agreement On Transboundary Haze Pollution (AATHP) Dalam Penanganan Kabut Asap Lintas Batas
Get PDFABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan alasan Indonesia meratifikasi ASEAN Agreement on Transboundary Haze Pollution. Pada tahun 1997, kabut asap akibat kebakaran lahan melanda Indonesia yang dampaknya hingga ke negara-negara kawasan Asia Tenggara. Fenomena tersebut mendorong ASEAN untuk membuat perjanjian pada tahun 2002 yang mewadahi kerjasama dalam upaya penanganan kabut asap tersebut. Indonesia sebagai negara yang disalahkan atas kabut asap tersebut tidak langsung meratifikasi perjanjian tersebut. Periode 2002-2014 kabut asap menjadi bencana yang tidak terselesaikan bagi Indonesia. Permasalahan tersebut menyebabkan masyarakat bergerak untuk mendesak pemerintah untuk melakukan pertanggungjawaban. Hingga pada tahun 2014 Indonesia bersedia meratifikasi AATHP. Penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan sebab akibat dari tuntutan masyarakat dan pertanggungjawaban negara terhadap lingkungan yang mendorong Indonesia meratifikasi AATHP melalui sudut pandang pilihan rasional. Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan keuntungan yang didapat Indonesia setelah meratifikasi AATHP. Hasil dari penelitian ini memaparkan rasionalitas yang dimiliki oleh pembuat kebijakan dalam meratifikasi AATHP.Kata Kunci: AATHP, Tuntutan Masyarakat, Pertanggungjawaban Negara, Ratifikasi, Kabut Asap Lintas Batas, ASEA

Get PDFThis paper discusses the political conflict between the regional government of Gowa Regency, represented by Regent Adnan Yasin Limpo and the family of Gowa Kingdom by Andi Maddusila after the enactment of the Regional Regulation on the Arrangement of the Regional and Customary Cultural Institutes of Gowa Regency in 2016. This research is qualitative research. This study found that the conflict occurred because the LAD Regional Regulation affected the power network of the Gowa royal group, namely the change in access to property of the Kingdom of Gowa such as the BallaLompoa palace and customary land and created changes in the network structure of the kingdom with the emergence of new adat institutions. The author concludes that this regulation is the final round of conflicts between the Limpo clan and the Andi Madusila clan. Through the Local Regulation of LAD, a network of powers that guarded Andi Maddusila's power over a period of seventeen years was cut off. In the absence of access to royal power on Andi Maddusila's side it was difficult for Andi Maddusila's group to consolidate the power of the royal family in Gowa Regency. Get PDFABSTRACTThe quota carbon trading (CO2), by the West Sumatera and Australia under the Kyoto Protocol and the REDD, brought both positive impacts and also negative impacts. The quota carbon trading (CO2) is considered as the solution in addressing global warming and climate change issues. Unfortunately, the other side of the quota carbon trading (CO2) takes forms in the deforestation and forest degradation. In this case, AusAID acts as the mediator in solving the problems that arises between the two sides. With the AusAID taking role as mediator, it is expected that the related parties can work together for a common purpose. In regards to that matter, the AusAID works through the use of diplomacy, communication and influence, which resulted in the effective work of AusAID. This global media phenomenon has significant ramifications for development but there is insufficient understanding about the dynamics of the process, and uncertainty about many outcomes. Many factors attempted to determine the process of economic development. Political and economical factors are two factors paying the major influence. While not denying the potential importance of these aforementioned factors, this paper contend that the role of media in developing institutions that facilitate economic progress has only recently begun to receive the attention it deserves. Emphasize to the role of media to the development process this paper is discuss the importance of media in overcoming public choice.
