ANALISIS DAN EVALUASI GOOGLE TRANSLATE VERSI AUGMENTED REALITY DALAM PENERJEMAHAN BAHASA
Get PDFBahasa bisa menjadi penghalang bagi manusia untuk bisa memahami sebuah informasi jika ia tidak menguasasi bahasa tersebut. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, banyak pembantu penerjemahan telah dibuat, salah satunya adalah mesin penerjemah dari Google yakni Google Translate. Saat ini, Google Translate telah mendukung penerjemahan tulisan secara visual dengan didukung augmented reality. Fungsi penggunaannya adalah untuk menerjemahkan tulisan apapun yang dapat ditemui di manapun secara langsung melalui tangkapan kamera smartphone. Tujuan utama dari penulisan ini adalah menjelaskan tentang bagaimana sistem augmented reality google translate bekerja, hal apa saja yang terlibat didalamnya, dan sejauh mana kemampuannya di bidang augmented reality. Pengujian meliputi beberapa aspek, diantaranya bagaimana Google Translate mampu mendeteksi teks dengan tulisan tangan, font dengan jenis dan model berbeda dari standarnya, font yang memiliki warna, font yang mengandung angka, simbol dan font kata yang mengandung spasi dan karakter serta menerjemahkan teks berbahasa Indonesia ke dalam bahasa Inggris. Metode yang digunakan dalam jurnal ini adalah metode pengumpulan data. Dan hasil analisis dalam penelitian ini diantaranya, Augmented Reality (AR) pada Google Translate kesulitan ketika mendeteksi teks yang memiliki unsur warna yang sama dengan latar belakang dari tulisan tersebut. Kemudian kurang maksimalnya dalam mendeteksi teks hasil dari tulisan tangan. Namun tetap mampu menghasilkan Augmented Reality (AR) text regocnition. DOI : https://doi.org/10.33005/sibc.v13i1.172
Model Implementasi sistem informasi pemerintahan desa berbasis web bagi pemerintahaN desa di Kabupaten Sidoarjo
Get PDFDalam rangka meningkatkan akuntabilitas pengelolaan keuangan desa dan mendorong masyarakat untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam pembangunan desa diperlukan adanya sistem informasi berbasis web. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena terdapat indikasi pengelolaan keuangan desa yang masih belum sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan pemerintah, terutama pada tahap pelaksanaan. Tahap pelaksanaan merupakan eksekusi dari rencana yang telah ditetapkan. Oleh sebab itu, kualitas pada tahap pelaksanaan mempengaruhi tahap pertanggungjawaban pengelolaan keuangan desa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan model implementasi sistem informasi pemerintahan desa berbasis web. Penelitian dilakukan pada dua desa dan dua wilayah Kecamatan yaitu desa Tambak Oso Kecamatan Waru dan desa Sedati kecamatan Sedati Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan interview, focused group dan discussion. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis kualitatif. Kajian ini menemukan bahwa pengelolaan keuangan pemerintahan desa baik di Desa Tambak Oso maupun Segoro Tambak sudah menggunakan aplikasi Siskeudes baik online maupun offline, selain memiliki tampilan yang mudah digunakan, juga dilengkapi dengan petunjuk pelaksanaan implementasi maupun manual aplikasi, mengingat penggunanya memiliki rentang kemampuan yang berbeda-beda, seperti ditemukan bahwa Desa segoro Tambak belum mewujudkan pengelolaan keuangan secara transparan dan akuntabel dibandingkan desa Tambak Oso serta belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan peraturan. Beberapa kendala yang dihadapi desa Segoro Tambak, di antaranya belum efektifnya pembinaan terhadap aparatur desa, Aplikasi siskeudes ini juga dibangun dengan built-in internal control sehingga kesalahan-kesalahan yang terjadi juga dapat diminimalisir. Dan hal yang sangat ditekankan, aplikasi ini dapat diperoleh secara “gratis” oleh pemerintah desa. DOI : https://doi.org/10.33005/jdg.v10i1.204

Get PDFThe use of social media for development as well as the promotion of tourism destinations is being loved by the people of Indonesia, both from the government and the private sector. So this paper will explain the same thing a bit. Specifically this article will discuss the development of tourist destinations using one of the social media, namely Instagram. The tourist destinations that we are developing are in the village of Tegaren, District Tugu, Trenggalek Regency. There are three (3) tourist destinations in Tegaren, namely embungs, caves, and waterfalls. The community service that we have done is still focused on one tourist destination, namely embung. The embung in the Tegaren village is called Banyu Lumut. This paper seeks to explain the development of tourist destinations through social media. In this paper, the concept of tourism that is pro-poor tourism, tourism value chain, and productive economic empowerment will be used. The pro-poor tourism approach is used as an alternative step of ecotourism which is expected to be more engaged in labor-intensive development activities rather than capital intensive. The community service that we have done has resulted in the form of an @banyulumut Instagram account which can then be used by the Tegaren village government to promote Tegaren tourism. Gradual involvement of the private sector is known as the second era. In this second era, the private sector began to offer launch services or the operation of their own space objects. This era also known as futures space is closely related to space tourism activities. Space tourism then can‟t not be separated from the service provider space accommodation. Among the service provider sector trip into space, commonly called commercial human-base spaceflight. The Legal Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space that containe involvement of the private sector should be under the auspices and responsibility of the country concerned, therefore, the necessary regulatory and legal shelter framework. An international model that exists today following the space tourism industry standard that is owned by the United States, called the United States or the Commercial Space Launch Act (CSLA). United States domestic law allows the minister of regulations governing the transport in all activities related to the aerospace industry. The domestic law, namely Law of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, or called (NAS Act). If related to this study, the authors examine the policy that focuses on the regulation of private commercial spaceflight that emerged in the era of President Barack Obama. Post-issuance of space policy by President Obama, resulting in a rapid growth in the spacecraft industry and flight crew (spaceflight). Get PDFABSTRACTThis research aimed to analyze the changes of the Maldives government's decision on the cancellation agreement with GMR India and switch to cooperate with BUCG China. In 2010, the government of the Maldives signed a privatization agreement with the GMR-MAHB that produce concessions on Male International Airport. Two years after the signing of the agreement, airport operations under GMR caused controversy which led to the cancellation of the contract unilaterally by the government of Maldives. This study analyzes the changes in the Maldivian government's decision by rational choice theory, which states as rational actors will make decisions based on profit and loss, as well as the bandwagoning theory for profit as Maldives’s strategy for cooperation with China. Strategi World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Dalam Upaya Mendorong Penandatanganan Deklarasi Heart of Borneo
Get PDFABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi yang digunakan oleh WWF dalam upaya untuk mendorong penandatanganan Deklarasi Heart of Borneo. Pada periode tahun 2000-2005 tingkat kerusakan akibat deforestasi di hutan Borneo yang mencakup kawasan negara Indonesia, Malaysia dan Brunei sangat tinggi. WWF sebagai NGO yang fokus terhadap isu-isu lingkungan mengeluarkan inisiatif Heart of Borneo. Seiring berjalannya waktu pemerintah ketiga negara yang menduduki pulau Borneo menandatangani perjanjian kerjasama yang bertajuk Deklarasi Heart of Borneo untuk bersama-sama melindungi kawasan tersebut. Penelitian ini menganalisis kegiatan advokasi terhadap pemerintah yang dilakukan WWF melalui konsep transnational advocacy networks, yakni WWF sebagai NGO melakukan kegiatan advokasi lintas batas terhadap pemangku kepentingan dan pemerintah ketiga negara, serta menggunakan teori advokasi dan lobbying untuk menjelaskan strategi yang digunakan oleh WWF. Hasil dari penelitian ini memaparkan bahwa WWF menggunakan strategi advokasi, direct lobbying dan kampanye dalam upaya mendorong terjadinya deklarasi heart of borneo. Secara keseluruhan, analisis penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menjelaskan hipotesis tentang ketiga strategi yang digunakan WWF untuk mempengaruhi para pemangku kepentingan dan pembuat keputusan di ketiga negara.Kata kunci: NGO, Strategi, Transnational Advocacy Network, Advokasi, Direct Lobbying, Kampanye, Deklarasi, Heart of Borne
Efektifitas Democracy Assistance USAID Bagi Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Timor Leste
Get PDFABSTRACTThis research will examine USAID’s democracy assistance for Timor Leste’s economic growth. The background of this research was Timor Leste’s failure as well as many challenges faced in order to create political stability after having received USAID’s democracy assistance. Hence, the research question from this background would be “why USAID’s democracy assistance provided through the Election and Processes framework has not been seen effective to bring positive impacts for Timor Leste’s economic growth?”. This question is analysed by using the foreign aid effectiveness framework, the assumption of democracy and economic growth connectivity and the assumption of political stability and economic growth connectivity. The conclusion of this analysis is that USAID’s democracy assistance provided to Timor Leste has not effectively support Timor Leste’s economic growth since there are some aid effectiveness characteristics that does not correspond with the characteristic and ability of the people Timor Leste. The disrepancy slows down the process of acceptance of democracy that led to the slow pace of individual understanding of the importance of political process. The slow process led to some cases of political conflict and violence in Timor Leste, disrupting political stability in Timor Leste, which ultimately risen the challenges to Timor Leste’s economic growth.Keywords: democracy assistance, foreign aid effectiveness, democracy, political stability, economic growth
ANALISIS PENGARUH PERSEPSI KEMUDAHAN, PERSEPSI RESIKO DAN KUALITAS INFORMASI TERHADAP MINAT MENGGUNAKAN REKENING BERSAMA SHOPEE (Studi Kasus Pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Dan Politik Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jawa Timur)
Get PDFThis type of research is quantitative research. This study uses primary data with online survey methods. The population in this study was FISIP UPN’V’ JATIM Students who knew and were interested in using an Rekening Bersama Shopee when shopping online. The sample includes some of the FISIP students who are familiar with and interested in using a Rekening Bersama Shopee when shopping online. The sampling technique uses the Lameshow formula. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis testing using the F test and t test. Based on the results of the study show that simultaneously perceived ease (X1), risk perception (X2), information quality (X3) have a significant effect on interest in using (Y) shopee joint accounts. The results also showed that the perception of ease (X1) partially had a positive and significant effect on interest in using Shopee Rekber, risk perception (X2) had a negative and significant effect on interest in using Shopee Rekber, information quality (X3) had a positive and significant effect on interest in using Shopee rekber, and information quality variables have a dominant influence on interest in using Shopee Rekber.
