    FATWA ABOUT SOCIAL INTERACTION ON SOCIAL MEDIA IN THE PARADIGM OF ISLAMIC LEGAL PHILOSOPHY

    This study aims to find the paradigm of Islamic legal philosophy contained in the Fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) regarding guidelines for social interaction through social media. This type of research is qualitative research (library research). Data sources of this study is the Fatwa of MUI, No.24 of 2017 Concerning Law and Guidelines for Bermuamalah through Social Media and various relevant literature. The theory used in this research is the Maqasid Shariah theory. This study concludes that the Fatwa of MUI legal provisions that limit freedom of social interaction through social media are legal provisions in realizing the benefit of individuals (al-maslahat al-khassah) and the public (al-maslahat al-ammah) in the context of social life. To realize these two benefits, the five objectives of Islamic law (maqasid shari'ah al-khomsah), such as hifz al-nafs, hifz al-aql, hifz al-mal, hifz al-nasl can be manifested in various legal provisions of the fatwa of MUI which limits freedom of social interaction on social media. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan paradigma filsafat hukum Islam yang terkandung dalam Fatwa Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) tentang pedoman interaksi sosial melalui media sosial. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif (penelitian kepustakaan). Sumber data penelitian ini adalah Fatwa MUI, No.24 tahun 2017 Tentang Hukum dan Pedoman Bermuamalah melalui Media Sosial dan berbagai literatur terkait. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Maqasid Syariah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Fatwa ketentuan hukum MUI yang membatasi kebebasan interaksi sosial melalui media sosial adalah ketentuan hukum dalam mewujudkan manfaat individu (al-maslahat al-khassah) dan masyarakat (al-maslahat al-ammah) dalam konteks kehidupan sosial. Untuk mewujudkan dua manfaat ini, lima tujuan hukum Islam (maqasid syari'ah al-khomsah), seperti hifz al-nafs, hifz al-aql, hifz al-mal, hifz al-nasl dapat dimanifestasikan dalam berbagai ketentuan hukum fatwa MUI yang membatasi kebebasan interaksi sosial di media sosia

    Lately, there are many problems of religious behavior which partially understand religion, causing many deviations in the name of religion and belief. Roughness and hatred towards other groups in the name of religious teachings and "heretical" religious understanding, is the impact of human acceptance of religious teachings that are not accompanied by good education and understanding of religious knowledge, so that preaching through educational institutions becomes the choice to build an understanding of Islam that is comprehensive and inclusive. The results of this study indicate that (1) The concept of Alkhairaat preaching follows the Habib Idrus style of preaching namely subtle and sympathetic, with the style of movement of a number of scholars who introduce movements in various regions including the archipelago, using the concept of tabsyit lil ummah which makes the messages of religious teachings as news or good news for the Ummah. (2) The form of da'wah conducted by Alkhairaat is by developing educational institutions that are oriented to the formation of knowledge, attitudes and behavior of the community in accordance with the guidance of the teachings of Islam Akhir-akhir ini maraknya problem perilaku ummat beragama yang memahami agama secara parsial, menjadikan banyaknya terjadi penyimpangan atas nama agama dan keyakinan. Kekasaran dan kebencian terhadap kelompok lain atas nama ajaran agama serta pemahaman agama yang “sesat”, adalah dampak dari penerimaan manusia terhadap ajaran agama tidak disertai dengan pendidikan dan pemahaman ilmu agama yang baik, sehingga dakwah melalui lembaga pendidikan menjadi pilihan untuk membangun pemahaman keIslaman yang komprehensif dan inklusif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan, bahwa (1) Konsep dakwah Alkhairaat mengikuti gaya dakwah Habib Idrus yakni halus dan simpatik, dengan gaya gerak sejumlah ulama yng mengintroduksi gerakan di berbagai wilayah termasuk di nusantara, dengan menggunakan konsep tabsyit lil ummah yang menjadikan pesan-pesan ajaran agama sebagai berita atau kabar gembira untuk Ummat. (2)Bentuk dakwah yang dilakukan oleh Alkhairaat adalah dengan mengembangkan lembaga pendidikan yang berorientasi pada pembentukan pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku masyarakat yang sesuai dengan tuntunan ajaran agama Isla

    This research was conducted with the aim of exploring the content of Al-Quran surah al-’Asr and contextualizing it in order to respond to phenomena in millennial generation that are increasingly inseparable from communication activities through digital technology (social media) especially gadgets. Carefully public relations and gadgets have changed many settings ranging from moral values, culture, mindset, and so forth. In addition to the various benefits, the existence of social media has also been a trigger for various social problems that are counter to peace. Against this background, in this study, the authors sought to examine the Surah al-’Asr, whose contents will be formulated to be guidelines for how smart in optimizing social media. This qualitative research will use the Al-Quran hermeneutic approach that was initiated by Fazlur Rahman, namely the double movement theory. This method emphasizes to find universal values ​​so that the results of interpretations are progressive and can be applied in various contexts of space and time. From this research, it was obtained that Surah al-’Asr, if contextualized, could be obtained from him three moral ideals as proposed by Rahman. If all three are embedded in the consciousness of every human being, then this can be a solution for world peace. In the context of social media efforts that can be done is to optimize it as efficiently and effectively as possible for good and usefulness and to convey all things that are not contrary to the truth and human values.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan menggali kandungan Al-Quran surat al-’Asr serta mengkontekstualisasikannya guna merespon fenomena dalam generasi milenial yang semakin tidak bisa dipisahkan dari aktifitas berkomunikasi melalui teknologi digital (media sosial) khususnya gawai. Eratnya hubungan masyarakat dan gadget telah merubah banyak tatanan mulai dari nilai moral, budaya, pola pikir dan lain sebagainya. Di samping berbagai keuntungannya, adanya media sosial juga telah menjadi pemicu berbagai masalah sosial yang kontra dengan perdamaian. Atas latar belakang tersebut, dalam penelitian ini penulis berusaha mengkaji surat al-’Asr yang kandungan-kandungannya akan diformulasikan untuk menjadi pedoman bagaimana cerdas dalam mengoptimalisasikan media sosial. Penelitian kualitatif ini akan menggunakan pendekatan hermeneutika Al-Quran yang digagas Fazlur Rahman yakni teori double movement. Metode ini memberikan penekanan untuk menemukan nilai universal sehingga hasil penafsiran progresif dan dapat diterapkan dalam berbagai konteks ruang dan waktu. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa surat al-’Asr jika dikontekstualisasikan dapat diperoleh darinya tiga ideal moral sebagaiana yang digagas oleh Rahman. Apabila ketiganya tertanam dalam kesadaran setiap manusia maka hal tersebut dapat menjadi solusi perdamaian dunia. Dalam konteks bermedia sosial upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan mengoptimalkannya seefisien dan seefektif mungkin untuk kebaikan dan kebermanfaatan serta untuk menyampaikan segala hal yang tidak berseberangan dengan kebenaran dan nilai kemanusiaan

    The objectives of the article are to identify the background of the emergence of empowerment in the community in the tourist area of Tarusan Kamang and the forms of creative economy-based community empowerment in the tourist area of Tarusan Kamang. The method used is a qualitative method with a type of descriptive research that describes the circumstances that occur in the field about creative economy-based community empowerment in the Kamang Tarusan tourism area, which is experienced by research subjects. The source of data from this study is the community that carries out community-based creative economic empowerment and the government of Jorong Halalang and the data obtained from the documents. While data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of this study reveal that creative economy-based community empowerment in the Kamang Tarusan tourism area are: (1) The background of the emergence of community empowerment in the Kamang Tarusan tourism area is caused by three factors: low economic conditions, the presence of tourist areas, and the participation of migrants. (2) Forms of community empowerment based on the creative economy, namely: providing food and resting places, providing crossing equipment, displaying performing arts, and utilizing lake products.Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi latar belakang kemunculan pemberdayaan di kawasan wisata Kamang Tarusan dan bentuk-betuk kreatif berbasis ekonomi kreatif di kawasan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitin deskriptif yang menggambarkan kondisi-kondisi yang terjadi di lapangan terkait pemberdayaan komunitas berbasis ekonomi kreatif di kawasan wisata Tarusan Kamang yang dialami oleh subyek penelitian. Sumber penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang terlibat dalam dalam pemberdayaan berbasis ekonomi kreatif, pemerintahan Jorong Halalang, dan data-data dokumen. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa pengembangan masyarakat berbasis ekonomi kreatif di kawasan wisata Kamang Tarusan adalah (1) terdapat tiga faktor yang menjadi latar belakang kemunculan pengembangan masyarakat berbasis ekonomi kratif di Kamang Tarusan, yakni kondisi ekonomi yang rendah, keberadaan kawasan wisata, serta partisipasi pendatang; dan (2) bentuk pemberdayaan masyarakat yang berbasis pada ekonomi kreatif adalah penyediaan makanan dan tempat peristirahatan, penyediaan alat penyeberangan, penampilan seni pertunjukan, serta pemanfaatan produk-produk danau

    This paper examines the new Islamic promoter Hanan Attaki who can spread his Islamism through various media, especially in his Youtube account. This paper aims to describe the spread of popular Islamism as a defense to self fortify from western popular culture, and this distribution is greatly facilitated by democracy. This article becomes essential because it shows the spread of Islamism in Indonesia that characterized by motivation and self-development, so that be able to entertain and embrace the youth. The spread of Islamism shows that religion does not want to be placed in private space, but also public space. At the end of this session, it was concluded that the spread of popular Islamism among young people aims to form the justification of the ideal type of Muslim youth today.Artikel ini menelaah promotor keislaman baru, Hanan Attaki, yang mampu menyebarkan islamismenya melalui beragam media, terutama akun Youtube.     SEJARAH DAKWAH DATO KARAMA: MENELUSURI ULAMA SUMATERA BARAT PENYEBAR ISLAM DI LEMBAH PALU

    Dato Karama or Abdullah Raqie is an Ulama from Minangkabau West Sumatra who brought Islam to Central Sulawesi. His origin and roles have long been in a debate due to lack of documented resources. Previous studies mostly focus on the arrival of Dato Karama in Palu around 1645 M and the roles he played in spreading Islam after the period. However, none of the scholars have studied the relationship of Dato Karama and his home town in Koto Tangah, Minangkabau, West Sumatra. Through historiography method, we studied the origin of Dato Karama in West Sumatra, his arrival story, and his roles in spreading Islam in Palu Central Sulawesi. We found that Dato Karama lives in a similar period with a well-known Ulama in Koto Tangah Syekh Burhanuddin. We suspect that both of them studied Islam from Syekh Abdul Rauf Singkil Aceh. Dato Karama moved to Central Sulawesi after transit in South Sulawesi together with other three Koto Tangah well-known Ulama; Dato Ribandang, Dato Patimang, and Dato Ri Tiro. The number of artifacts which resemble West Sumatra artifacts can be found in Central Sulawesi. Those evident prove that Dato Karama is an Ulama from West Sumatera.Dato Karama atau Abdullah Raqie adalah seorang Ulama dari Minangkabau Sumatera Barat yang membawa Islam ke Sulawesi Tengah. Asal dan perannya telah lama menjadi perdebatan karena kurangnya sumber data yang terdokumentasi. Penelitian  sebelumnya sebagian besar berfokus pada kedatangan Dato Karama di Palu sekitar tahun 1645 M dan peran yang dimainkannya dalam menyebarkan Islam setelah masa tersebut. Namun, tidak ada peneliti yang mengkaji hubungan Dato Karama dan kota kelahirannya di Koto Tangah, Minangkabau, Sumatra Barat. Dengan menggunakan metode historiografi, kami mempelajari asal usul Dato Karama di Sumatera Barat, kisah kedatangannya, dan perannya dalam menyebarkan Islam di Palu Sulawesi Tengah. Kami menemukan bahwa Dato Karama hidup dalam periode yang sama dengan seorang ulama terkenal di Koto Tangah Syekh Burhanuddin. Kami menduga keduanya belajar Islam dari Syekh Abdul Rauf Singkil Aceh. Dato Karama pindah ke Sulawesi Tengah setelah terlebih dahulu singgah di Sulawesi Selatan bersama tiga ulama terkenal Koto Tangah lainnya yaitu; Dato Ribandang, Dato Patimang, dan Dato Ri Tiro.     This study examines the strategies and content of da`wah Basalamah’s in online video sharing media, Youtube. The video content reviewed is the video uploaded on the official Khalid Basalamah Official account in July 2017. Based on the analysis with the content analysis approach, this article shows that Khalid Basalamah is very active in disseminating his da`wah content via Youtube by uploading, at least, one video content in one day. The contents of Basalamah’s lectures uploaded in July 2017 put forward the themes of theology, apocalypse, morals, repentance, loyalty, patience, and apologize to others. No content touches the subject of sharia and dealings (mu’āmalah). Studies of preaching on Youtube media need to be developed, considering that preaching through the media is very popular among dai in Indonesia nowadays.Penelitian ini menelaah strategi dan konten dakwah Khalid Basalamah di media daring berbagi video, Youtube. Konten video yang ditelaah adalah video yang diunggah pada akun resmi Khalid Basalamah Official pada bulan Juli 2017. Berdasarkan analisis dengan pendekatan analisis konten, artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa Khalid Basalamah sangat aktif dalam menyebarluaskan konten dakwahnya melalui Youtube dengan mengunggah, paling kurang, 1 kontan video dalam satu hari. Isi ceramah Basalamah yang diunggah pada bulan Juli 2017 mengedepankan tema akidah, kiamat, akhlak, taubat, takwa, sabar, dan meminta maaf kepada sesama. Tidak ada konten yang menyentuh tema syariah dan muamalat. Kajian-kajian tentang dakwah di media Youtube perlu dikembangkan, mengingat dakwah melalui media tersebut sangat populer di kalangan dai di Tanah Air

    This article discusses the dakwah method of the Indonesian Young Dai Association (IDMI) of Palu in fostering and developing the religiosity aspects of the community of Palu. Coaching is carried out to its members as well as to the general public. In carrying out its missionary activities, IDMI applied a variety of methods in fostering Muslim communities through recitation groups that were held regularly, ta’līm assemblies for women, as well as recitals held at the commemoration of Islamic holidays. Observation of da`wah activities and interviews with the preachers affiliated with IDMI showed that this institution had an excellent opportunity in carrying out community religious development in Palu. The enthusiasm of the community to take part in the recitations organized by IDMI and the dakwah material that is inclusive provides the possibility for this institution to act as a unifying node in the heterogeneous community of Palu

    MODEL KOMUNIKASI MULTIKULTURAL MASYARAKAT JAWA PESISIR DENGAN MADURA DI DESA BUKO

    Each region has a unique society that lies behind the existence of habits, language, communication models, and diverse worldviews. The interaction between two communities that have cultural distinctiveness is a multicultural phenomenon. One area representing the phenomenon is Buko Wedung Village, Demak Regency, where Javanese people as natives interact with Madurese immigrant communities. This study aims to find a multicultural communication model of the coastal communities of Java and Madura with Buko Village. This type of research is included in the field research with an ethnographic approach. Determination of informants is done by purposive sampling technique, while data collection is applied by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed by a comparative approach, while the data validation process used triangulation techniques. Based on the results of research and data analysis, it was concluded that the multicultural communication model between the Javanese coastal communities and Madurese communities in Buko Village, Demak Regency, used the Gudykust and Kim model, a communication model that assumed two equal communication between each as a sender and receiver. This shows that cultural differences do not cause multicultural communities on the coast to lose their social relations.Setiap daerah memiliki kekhasan masyarakat yang melatarbelakangi adanya kebiasaan, bahasa, model komunikasi, dan pandangan dunia yang beragam. Interaksi antara dua komunitas yang memiliki kekhasan budaya merupakan fenomena multikultural. Salah satu wilayah merepresentasikan fenomena tersebut adalah Desa Buko Wedung, Kabupaten Demak, di mana masyarakat Jawa sebagai penduduk asli berinteraksi dengan masyarakat Madura pendatang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan model komunikasi multikultural masyarakat pesisir Jawa dengan Madura dengan Desa Buko. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk di dalam penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan etnografi. Penentuan informan dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, sedangkan pengumpulan data diterapkan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan pendekatan komparatif, sementara proses validasi data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. erdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data, disimpulkan bahwa model komunikasi multikultural antara masyarakat pesisir Jawa dan masyarakat Madura di Desa Buko, Kabupaten Demak, menggunakan model Gudykust dan Kim, model komunikasi yang mengasumsikan dua komunikasi yang sama antara masing-masing sebagai pengirim dan penerima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan budaya tidak menyebabkan masyarakat multikultural di pesisir kehilangan relasi sosial mereka

    Every individual has experienced fear and anxiety in life. This is usually caused by excessive emotions, fear of the future, inner contradictions, or something that happens unexpectedly. Islamic counseling is considered to be able to overcome the spiritual emptiness that is often the cause of mental disorientation of modern humans. One method that can be implemented in the context of counseling therapy is murattal (chanting) the Qur’an. With descriptive and analytical approaches, namely narrating the characteristics of an object holistically and systematically, this article explains the steps of counseling therapy through Islamic art, which in this case is the murattal art of the Qur’an. This paper concludes that murattal of the Qur’an can be an alternative approach in the practice of Islamic counseling
