Get PDFIn this paper, we aim to propose new arguments in favor of an identification between the carriers of objects in the Allegory of the Cave, as characterized by Socrates in Republic, and the Sophists, specifically those characterized in the Sophist dialogue. We will focus our attention on a series of terms present in the said works, which will allow us to recognize two tendencies shared by carriers and sophists: the theatricality and the external condition of their tasks.Nos proponemos en este trabajo aportar nuevos argumentos en favor de una identificación entre los portadores de objetos de la alegoría de la caverna caracterizados por Sócrates en República y los sofistas caracterizados por el Extranjero en el diálogo Sofista. Enfocaremos nuestra atención en una serie de términos presentes en sendas obras, lo que nos permitirá reconocer dos tendencias compartidas por aquellos agentes: la de la teatralidad y la de la exterioridad de sus quehaceres.

¿Mueble o inmueble?: el registro, catalogación y el arranque en manifestaciones de arte urbano y público como modificadores contextuales
Get PDFThe variety of materials, processes and artistic conceptions that are carried out within contemporary art make its proper conservation and restoration increasingly complex. In urban and public art there are several agents that must be considered when establishing its preservation, including the artists and the community in which the works are inserted. These have changed the idea of History, with a capital letter, to talk about stories (Muñoz, 2003). These stories are linked to the environment in which they are told, because, fundamentally, they are made for it.
This contribution aims to analyze the cataloguing of these works as movable or immovable property, and what it means for them to fall into one category or the other. Considering them as elements that can be moved implies the undermining of their integrity and the modification of their context. This produces the resignification of the work, which becomes something foreign in another location. At the same time, the possible motivations and processes of relocation that take place in this type of manifestations are mentioned, highlighting the need to carry out in-depth studies that avoid these resignifications due to contextual modifications.La variedad de materiales, procesos y concepciones artísticas que se llevan a cabo dentro del arte contemporáneo hacen que sea cada más compleja su adecuada conservación y restauración. En el arte urbano y público existen varios agentes que deben ser considerados a la hora de establecer su preservación, incluyendo a los artistas y la comunidad en la que se insertan las obras. Estas han cambiado la idea de Historia, con mayúscula, para hablarnos de historias (Muñoz, 2003). Esas historias se vinculan con el entorno al que se cuentan, porque, fundamentalmente, están elaboradas para él.
Esta aportación pretende analizar la catalogación de estas obras como bienes muebles o inmuebles, y lo que supone que se enmarquen en una u otra categoría. Considerarlas como elementos exentos que se pueden trasladar supone el menoscabo de su integridad y la modificación de su contexto el establecimiento de una resignificación de la obra que deja de ser lo que era para convertirse en un elemento ajeno en otra ubicación. A su vez, se mencionan las posibles motivaciones y procesos de traslado que se llevan a cabo en este tipo de manifestaciones, remarcando la necesidad de realizar estudios en profundidad que eviten estas resignificaciones por modificaciones contextuales
Una cifra imperial en Roma (1543)
Get PDFThis article presents the analysis of an encrypted code related to the imperial’s secret communication in Rome during the forties of the 16th century. The study employs a mixed methodology based on the discipline of philological editing combined with basic notions of cryptography. The research is not only limited to the study of the letters in which the encryption was used, but also provides a detailed analysis of the encrypted table used to compose the secret message of the letters. In addition to the description, we also offer the reconstruction of the cipher's vocabulary, originally employed in the main corpus.Este artículo presenta el análisis de una cifra correspondiente a la comunicación secreta imperial en Roma durante los años 40 del siglo XVI. La realización del estudio emplea una metodología mixta que parte de la disciplina de edición filológica unida a nociones básicas de criptografía. La investigación no se limita sólo al estudio de las epístolas en las que se usó la cifra, sino que también proporciona un análisis detallado del cifrario utilizado para componer el mensaje encriptado de las cartas. Además de la descripción de la clave, ofrecemos la reconstrucción del vocabulario de la misma empleado en las epístolas

For this purpose, we will analyze the existing nomenclator in the National Historical Archive of Madrid and its practical application in a series of letters intercepted during the year 1747.El presente estudio tiene como principal objetivo dar a conocer el cifrado y contracifrado utilizado por el marqués Giovanni Fogliani, secretario de Estado del rey Carlos III y su entorno. Para ello analizaremos el nomenclátor existente en el Archivo Histórico Nacional de Madrid y su aplicación práctica en una serie de cartas interceptadas durante el año 1747.L'obiettivo principale di questo studio è presentare il cifrario e il contro cifrario utilizzati dal marchese Giovanni Fogliani, segretario di Stato del re Carlo III e del suo seguito. História da relação entre os países ibéricos no desenvolvimento da psicologia do desporto (1950 - 2017). A perspectiva de um observador-participante português
Get PDFThe similar political situations in Spain and Portugal in the 20th and early 21st centuries were reflected in the development of sports psychology and the Iberian relations between its protagonists. This article analyses the relationship between the two countries in the field of sports psychology during this period. Scientific articles and technical journals, reports, oral information and correspondence with protagonists were used. Three periods were considered based on key events: 1950-1975, 1975-1993 and 1994-2017. It can be observed that sports psychology had its first approaches around the same time in both countries. Both dictatorial regimes until the mid-1970s limited the recognition and academic affirmation of sports psychology. The individual work of doctors, philosophers and educators characterised the early days. Iberian contacts were mainly the result of individual initiatives. The democratisation of the two countries allowed for scientific development, the deepening of Iberian relations and the normalization of Spanish-Portuguese activities.Las similares situaciones políticas de España y Portugal en el siglo XX y principios del XXI se reflejaron en el desarrollo de la psicología del deporte y en las relaciones ibéricas entre sus protagonistas. Este artículo analiza la relación entre ambos países en el campo de la psicología del deporte durante este periodo. Se utilizaron artículos científicos y revistas técnicas, informes, información oral y correspondencia con los protagonistas. Se consideraron tres periodos basados en acontecimientos clave: 1950-1975, 1975-1993 y 1994-2017. Se encuentra que la psicología del deporte tuvo sus primeras aproximaciones por la misma época en ambos países. Hasta mediados de la década de 1970, los regímenes dictatoriales limitaron el reconocimiento y la afirmación académica de la psicología del deporte. El trabajo individual de médicos, filósofos y educadores caracterizó los primeros tiempos. Los contactos ibéricos fueron principalmente el resultado de iniciativas individuales. La democratización de los dos países permitió el desarrollo científico, la profundización de las relaciones ibéricas y la normalización de las actividades hispano-portuguesas.As situações políticas semelhantes em Espanha e Portugal no século XX e início do século XXI reflectiu-se no desenvolvimento da psicologia do desporto e nas relações ibéricas entre os seus protagonistas. Este artigo analisa o relacionamento nesse período entre ambos os países no dominio da psicología do desporto. Utilizaram-se artigos científicos e revistas técnicas, relatórios, informações orais e correspondência com protagonistas. Foram considerados três períodos com base em acontecimentos-chave: 1950-1975, 1975-1993 e 1994-2017. Verifica-se que a psicologia do desporto teve as suas primeiras aproximações por volta da mesma época em ambos os países. Os regimes ditatoriais até meio da década de 1970 limitaram o reconhecimento e afirmação académica da psicologia do desporto. O trabalho individual de médicos, filósofos e pedagogos caracterizou os primeiros tempos. Os contactos ibéricos nasceram sobretudo de iniciativas individuais. Sara Martín has been my Flamenco and Stylized Dance teacher for four years, and dance teacher of the Bolera School Style that I recently started. The knowledge Sara Martín has about these different branches of Spanish dance is immense, since in each movement that we learn from her there is a lot of information that is part of that movement and its correct execution. Apart from the technical aspect of the movement that we learn, we also learn about the cultural context of that dance and why it was danced that way in its day.

Effect of whole-body vibration combined with an exercise program in females with chondromalacia: A randomized controlled trial
Get PDFThe aim of this study was to assess the influence of whole-body vibration (WBV) training combined with an exercise program on both pain and quadriceps isometric muscle force in adult females with chondromalacia patellae (CMP). This study employed a randomized controlled design with 40 healthy older female volunteers. Participants were divided into two groups: 20 in the whole-body vibration (WBV) group and 20 in the exercise (EX) group. The WBV group underwent a 4-week WBV training program, 3 times a week, alongside exercise, while the EX group participated in a 4-week exercise program without WBV. Primary outcomes, assessed at baseline and after 4 weeks, included pain intensity measured using a visual analogue scale (VAS) and quadriceps isometric muscle force measured by a Hand Held Dynamometer. The WBV training group exhibited significantly greater enhancements than the EX-group in terms of mean values and percentage changes in pain intensity and quadriceps isometric muscle force. The addition of WBV to exercise yields significantly superior outcomes compared to exercise training alone in CMP. The observed disparities between the WBV training group and the EX-group underscore the efficacy of WBV as a potent physical therapy intervention for the rehabilitation of CMP patients, particularly in enhancing strength gains and decreasing pain
