MUTU ORGANOLEPTIK DAN KIMIA ABON IKAN GABUS (CHANNA STRIATA) YANG DISUBSTITUSI SUKUN (ARTOCARPUS ALTILIS)
The aim of research was to determine the effect of substitution breadfruit (Artocarpus altilis) organoleptic quality and chemical content shredded. This research is experimental, with five treatments. Organoleptic tests carried snake head with breadfruit substitution processed into shredded. The study was conducted using a CRD (completely randomized design) with five treatments and two replications. Analyses were performed using analysis of variance to see the effect of adding breadfruit between treatments. If the results differ significantly (F count> F table) then continued with DNMRT test at 5% level. Chemical proximate analysis conducted shredded. Shredded most preferred is the treatment of C made from snake head 83.37% and 16.33% breadfruit. The protein content decreased with increasing number of substitutions breadfruit, otherwise the fiber content increases. Chemical Ingredients shredded were 438 Calories, 31.5% carbohydrate, 19.8% protein, 25.9% fat, 8% ash content and moisture content of 14.8% and 1,12 g fiber. Shredded is made of snake head 83.37% and 16.33% breadfruit meet standard SII shredded. Except for the water content is still rather high (14.8%) is in excess of the permitted standards SII shredded by 10%
PEMISAHAN BAHAN TAMBAHAN PANGAN MENGGUNAKAN METANOL-BUFFER FOSFAT DAN METANOL-BUFFER ASETAT
The development of food and beverage industry in Indonesia from year to year causes the production of food and soft drink circulating in community was increased. However, in food and soft drink were often added food additives such as sodium saccharin, benzoic acid, and caffeine that its level must be considered because it can caused negative effect on health. This study aims to compare optimum conditions of separation of sodium saccharin, benzoic acid and caffeine using methanol-phosphate buffer and methanol-acetate buffer as mobile phase using HPLC. The study was conducted by determining the wavelength, optimum pH of buffer and optimum composition of mobile phase. The optimum condition for the mobile phase of methanol-phosphate buffer were pH 4,5 with mobile phase composition of 12,5: 87,5 and UV detection system at 220 nm wavelength. The optimum condition for methanol-acetate buffer were pH 5,5 with mobile phase composition of 15:85 and the UV detection system at 230 nm wavelength. The composition of methanol-acetate buffer as mobile phase gives better result for the separation of sodium saccharin, benzoic acid and caffeine with shorter retention times. Perkembangan industri makanan dan minuman di Indonesia dari tahun ke tahun menyebabkan produksi makanan dan minuman ringan yang beredar di masyarakat semakin meningkat. Namun, di dalam makanan dan minuman ringan sering ditambahkan bahan tambahan pangan seperti natrium sakarin, asam benzoat, dan kafein yang kadarnya perlu diperhatikan karena dapat memberikan dampak negatif pada kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kondisi optimum pemisahan natrium sakarin, asam benzoat dan kafein menggunakan metanol-buffer fospat dan metanol-buffer asetat sebagai fasa gerak menggunakan HPLC. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menentukan panjang gelombang, pH buffer optimum dan komposisi fasa gerak optimum. Kondisi optimum untuk fasa gerak metanol-buffer fospat adalah pH 4,5 dengan komposisi fasa gerak 12,5:87,5 dan sistem pendeteksian UV pada panjang gelombang 220 nm. Kondisi optimum untuk fasa gerak metanol-buffer asetat adalah pH 5,5 dengan komposisi fasa gerak 15:85 dan sistem pendeteksian UV pada panjang gelombang 230 nm. Komposisi fasa gerak metanol-buffer asetat memberikan hasil yang lebih baik untuk pemisahan natrium sakarin, asam benzoat dan kafein dengan waktu retensi yang lebih pendek
Code-switching Practices at EnglishTeacher Education Program in Multilingual Indonesian Society
Code-switching is becoming a common phenomenon which occur extensively in English teachers’ speech in the classrooms where English is not the first language of both teachers and students. In the Indonesian context, particularly where a regional language is used along with the national language (Bahasa Indonesia) both teachers and students are able to speak more than one language. However, many second and foreign-language educators and researchers have developed strong beliefs about using code-switching in teaching English is not an effective way to help students mastering English language. One of the views claims that code switching is a sign of an inability to express oneself, and it reduces the opportunity of using English completely. For this reason, English teachers use of code-switching is regarded as a factor leading to the decline of English language proficiency, despite of the fact that these beliefs may not always grounded in theory or research. This project has aim to describe the application of code-switching practices among the English teachers at English education program in West Sumatra Indonesia where people commonly used Bahasa Indonesia and their regional language i.e. Minangkabau language in communication.The findings of the study show that both intrasentential and intersentential switching are applied by those English teacher
POTENSI HASIL JAGUNG MANIS (Zea mays saccharata, Sturt) DENGAN PEMBERIAN PAKET TEKNOLOGI PUPUK DAN ZAT PENGATUR TUMBUH
Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui paket teknologi yang memberikan produksi jagung manis varietas Master Sweet yang terbaik. Rancangan Perlakuan yang diuji adalah paket teknologi pupuk Bio Extrim dan ZPT Hormax yang terdiri dari delapan taraf, dan rancangan lingkungan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap dengan uji beda rata-rata perlakuan DMRT pada p 0.5. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa paket teknologi dengan pemberian Hormax tanpa Bio Extrim menghasilkan kadar gula yang terbaik. The aim of the research was to find out the technology package that gives the best Sweet Sweet varieties production. The treatment design tested was the Bio Extreme fertilizer technology package and the Hormax ZPT consisting of eight levels, and the environmental design used was a complete randomized design with the difference test of the average DMRT treatment at p 0.5. Design and Experimental Testing of Savonius Wind Turbine U Three Blades Type Performance as An Alternative Energy Resource
Indonesia is famous for its potential natural resource especially energy in the form of mining, water and air. Wind energy is a natural resource that can be obtained for free of charge among the most abundant and available continuously throughout the year. The issue of energy is one of the greatest challenges facing today's society in the world. The utilization of wind energy can be used in sloping areas, mountains, and the waterfront. The principle of conversion of wind energy into electrical energy is as follows: The wind through the blades of the wind turbine spinning pinwheel cause, round lead generator wind turbine spins that into electrical energy. More than 86% of the world's energy comes from fossil fuels, while the demand for energy worldwide continues to grow rapidly. We all know that the source of non-renewable nature of fossil energy if we only using fossil fuels as an energy source, a current source of energy will be depleted. Then the use of electrical energy derived from fossil also have an effect on the levels of emissions (CO2) in the air so called that the greenhouse effect. The application of wind energy in this study utilized as a small-scale electrical energy plant by utilizing a savonius wind turbine U three blades to generate electricity by using a generator and as a storage current battery. From design calculation results is obtained material on the blade is iron plate with a diameter of 0.6 m and blade’s high of 0.9 m. Design and Manufacturing of LPG Gas Leak Detector in The Kitchen
How to detect a gas leak is by using an early detection to prevent the occurrence of unwanted conditions. Detector as a gas leak detector can be applied to reduce the incidence of unwanted conditions such as explosion and fire that can result material losses, even death. The most common cause of the leak gas cylinders is corrosion in the gas cylinder, hose and its regulator. However, another cause is forced modification that can create accessories damage such as hose, valve, and regulator. Based on above conditions, additional effort is needed to maintain fire accident due to gas leak from cooking device that uses gas to cook in the kitchen or housing residents. Therefore, there was an action to design a leak gas detector ergonomically, effectively, and efficiently. From its function, detector can react 6 seconds if the position is above of regulator, and 9 seconds if placed on the above of stove at 35 cm distances. After the designed detector is completed and also tested, then detector was able to detect the occurrence of leak gas and it is useful to be used by the public
PENGARUH SUMBER-SUMBER PENDAPATAN ASLI DAERAH TERHADAP BELANJA DAERAH DI KABUPATEN BUNGO
Indonesian government policy on regional autonomy, which began to be implemented effective on January 1, 2001 since the promulgation of Law No. 22 of 1999 which last revised by Act number 23 of 2014, a policy that is seen as a democratic and fulfilling aspects of decentralization of government real , Decentralization alone has the objective to improve the welfare and service to the community, the development of democratic life, justice, equity, and the maintenance of harmonious relations between the center and regions as well as between daerah. This study aims to examine the Original Regional Revenue on Regional Expenditure in Bungo District Year 2006-2014. The result of the research shows that there is a positive and significant influence between the sources of Local Original Income (X1, X2, X3, X4) on local expenditure (Y) in Bungo District. The amount of influence simultaneously between sources of Original Revenue (X1, X2, X3, X4) to local expenditure (Y) in Bungo District is shown with the value of R2 is 99.40%.
ANALISIS JENIS KEMASAN TERHADAP KADAR PROTEIN DAN KADAR AIR PADA TEMPE
Tempe merupakan makanan tradisional yang mengandung kadar protein cukup tinggi. Proses fermentasi tempe dapat terganggu jika kemasan yang digunakan tidak mendukung proses tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemasan (daun pisang dan plastik) terhadap kadar protein tempe. Kegiatan analisis ini menggunakan metode Kjeldhal melalui tiga tahapan (destruksi, destilasi, dan titrasi). Hasil analisis kadar protein pada tempe bungkus daun sebesar 44,77% dan tempe bungkus plastik sebesar 41,38%. Perbedaan ini diuji dengan T-Test Paired dengan hasil sig = 0,004 (sig<0,05) yang berarti jenis kemasan memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kadar protein. Tempe is a traditional food of Indonesian society that contains high of levels of protein. Tempe fermentation process can be disrupted if the packaging used doesn't support the process. This study aims to detemine the effect of packaging (banana leaf and plastic) on the protein content of tempe. This analysis activity uses Kjeldhal method through three stages (destruction, distillation, and titration). The result of protein content analysis on leaf tempe was 44,77% and plastic wrap was 41,38%. This difference was tested by Paired T-Test with sig = 0,004 (sig<0,05), which means that packing type has significant effect on protein content
IDENTIFIKASI MOLEKULAR BAKTERI ASAM LAKTAT Lactobacillus paracasei YANG ADA PADA LAPISAN MINYAK VCO
Virgin Coconut Oil is an oil of coconut milk fermentation that has many uses such as can prevent HIV, because it functions as antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral. Antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral agents are found in bacteria lactic acid bacteriocin, a peptide that can destroy bacterial cells and pathogenic fungi and viral cells. The aim of this study was to identify molecularly lactic acid bacteria isolated and morphologically identified and biochemical tests, from fermented coconut milk. Apparently lactic acid bacteria is Lactobacillus paracasei strain 1.7. Virgin Coconut Oil adalah minyak dari fermentasi santan kelapa yang mempunyai banyak sekali kegunaan diantaranya dapat mencegah HIV, karena berfungsi sebagai antibakteri, antijamur dan antivirus. Zat antibakteri, antijamur dan antivirus itu terdapat pada bakteri asam laktat yaitu bakteriosin, berupa peptida yang dapat menghancurkan sel bakteri dan jamur patogen serta sel virus. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi secara molekular bakteri asam laktat yang telah diisolasi dan diidentifikasi secara morfologi dan uji – uji biokimia, dari santan yang difermentasi. Ternyata bakteri asam laktat nya adalah Laktobacillus paracasei strain 1.7.
SINISME DALAM KABA SABAI NAN ALUIH SUATU BENTUK PENTINGNYA BAHASA BAHASA IBU : KAJIAN PRAGMATIK
This paper discusses the establishment preservation mother tongue (language Minangkabau) in West Sumatra, especially in literature. This study reveals the cynicism narrative form in Kaba Sabai Nan Aluih. Use of cynicism in Kaba Sabai Nan Aluih someone speaking a form of expression. Cynicism is a statement that ridicule or scorn. This research was qualitative descriptive motde. The data collection method that is listening to refer to written language use and analysis using method Agih read many techniques. The results of this study indicate that there is some form of speech sinsime figure in Kaba Sabai Nan Aluih with the function of cynicism in the tale this is to add to the effect of aesthetic, resulting figure of speech in the form of satire in the form of doubts containing ridicule roughly and also learning the importance of mother tongue to be maintained if the study it is in the form of coarse satire in Minangkabau language
