THE ANALYSIS OF ILLOCUTIONARY ACTS USED BY SHERLY ANNAVITA IN INDONESIA LAWYERS CLUB
Understanding the illocutionary speech acts performed by prominent speakers in a formal event may bring significant impacts to provide an in-depth explanation of the purposes that the speakers intend to deliver. Sherly Annavita, a young politician and social influencer, was invited to one of Indonesia's prominent TV shows. As an influencer, her statements have often initiated a social movement, which led the researchers to examine how she delivered her thoughts in the public sphere. The present study employed a descriptive qualitative approach to uncovered what illocutionary speech acts performed by the above-mentioned politician and the purpose in each speech act. Data analysis of this study found sixteen (16) illocutionary speech acts performed by Sherly. Assertive Illocutionary Speech Act dominated her statements, followed by Expressive and Directive Illocutionary Speech Acts, respectively. Further, of all speech acts performed, Sherly delivered seven purposes of her statement, namely expressing opinions, notifying, stating arguments, advising, thanking, praising, and criticizing
TEACHING READING STRATEGIES FOR EIGHT GRADE OF SMPN 1 JEREWEH
Reading English text as a basic language skill has a complicated process to be absorbed by second language learners. In practice, Text-based has enlarged students to the complicated of reading comprehension. Therefore, various kinds of teaching reading strategies appropriate to students’ characters and needs are determined. This study aimed to identify teaching reading strategies that English teachers frequently use and identify students’ reading achievement by applying certain recommended strategies and identifying its effect in the teaching and learning process. The subject was thirty students in the eighth grade of SMPN 1 Jereweh, Academic Year 2019/2020. Data collection procedures were FGD, In-depth Interview, Observation, and a reading test. The reading test was distributed toward the Pre-test and Post-test. While the data analysis was a qualitative and inferential statistic. The findings showed two kinds of teaching reading strategies that were frequently applied by English teachers in SMPN 1 Jereweh, namely, SQ3R and QAR. By designing a new combination between both of those strategies, students reading comprehension achievement showed that dominantly students’ categorized in “Good “level. The mean score was significantly different (Pre-test= 55.83, while Post-Test= 78.92). In addition, the r = 0.00 < 0.05 meant that there were significant effects before and after implementing SQ3R and QAR strategies. Thus, this design was recommended for teaching reading comprehension
Penerapan Metode Bermain Peran untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Siswa Terhadap Konsep Pecahan Sederhana pada Mata Pelajaran Matematika di SD Inpres I Nambaru
The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of implementing role playing methods in learning mathematics on improving learning outcomes and student activeness in the basic material of simple fractions. This research method uses classroom action research. The data source came from grade III students of SD Inpres I Nambaru, totaling 24 students. Data collection techniques through formative test results. Data analysis was performed using quantitative and qualitative analysis, then consulted with the success criteria to determine student learning completeness. Based on the results of the formative tests from the first and second cycles, it was found that students' learning completeness had increased. From the initial cycle there were only 12 students out of 24 students or 50% who completed, then increased in the first cycle to 17 students from 24 students or 71%, and in the second cycle reached 100% completeness, namely 24 students completed out of 24 students. So that the conclusion obtained from this study is that the application of role playing methods in learning mathematics can improve learning outcomes and student activeness in the basic material of simple fraction
Penerapan Metode Kerja Kelompok dan Media Gambar untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Tematik Siswa di SD Negeri 2 Tete
This study aims to improve students' thematic learning outcomes through the use of group work methods and image media. This study uses a classroom action research method. The subjects of this study were 23 students of class III SD Negeri 2 Tete. Data collection techniques using tests and observation sheets. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used in this research was quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that students become more enthusiastic and motivated in thematic learning, data from cycle to cycle shows that student learning outcomes have increased. From 21.74% of students who completed to 56.52% in cycle 1, then in cycle 2 increased to 100%. Through the application of group work methods and image media in thematic learning can improve learning outcomes of grade III even semester SD Negeri 2 Tete with a 100% completeness percentage
Impementasi Pembelajaran Fisika Pokok Bahasan Elastisitas Melalui Inquiry Based Learning di SMA Negeri 2 Donggo
The purpose of this study was to describe the feasibility of the inquiry learning process of elasticity material using the P4TK IPA Hooke Law learning unit in class XI IPA students at SMA Negeri 2 Donggo. In the learning process of the elasticity material using Hooke's Law learning unit with an inquiry learning model with 6 levels. This research method used descriptive method. The research instrument used observation, interview, and tests. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the inquiry learning process on the subject of Elasticity and Hooke's Law using the Hooke P4TK IPA Law Physics learning unit in class XI IPA students of SMA Negeri 2 Donggo can be implemented properly and student learning outcomes are 100% complete
Learning Management Berbasis Web : Efek pada Proses dan Hasil Belajar
The purpose of this research is to improve the process and student learning outcomes through the implementation of Web-based learning management. This research method using descriptive method. The subjects in this study were 30 students of SMP Negeri 27 Surakarta. Data collection techniques using interviews and observations. While the data analysis technique used quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that at the preliminary study stage, the teacher observed student characteristics and learning conditions to determine appropriate activities. At the implementation stage, the teacher designs the lesson plan, determines learning resources, and carries out Web-based learning activities. At the evaluation stage, the teacher analyzes the increase in student learning outcomes with the impact of Web-based informatics learning outcomes that have been able to improve student learning outcomes
Analisis Arah Kebijakan Sekolah Terhadap Penggunaan Gawai Android dalam Aktivitas Belajar Peserta Didik di Masa Pandemi Covid-19
This study aims to analyze school policies on the use of smartphones in student learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used a qualitative approach with the type of empirical phenomenology research. The research subjects were obtained through a purposive sampling technique, amounting to 6 people, and this research was conducted online or by phone to teachers, principals, and parents of students. Meanwhile, data analysis used empirical phenomenological analysis techniques The results showed that there were 4 aspects analyzed, namely benefits, drawbacks, learning strategies, and parents' expectations of smartphone-based learning for students. From these four aspects, the school policy directions for the use of smartphones in student learning activities are formulated, including: 1) school policies should provide opportunities for students to use smartphones as a learning tool; 2) school policy should always provide education and oblige weekly meetings between teachers and parents to evaluate the behavior and learning outcomes of students; 3) school policies should facilitate students in the form of learning quotas and provision of wifi so that students and teachers can access the internet properly; 4) school policies should oblige teachers to improve their digital pedagogy competence; 5) school policy should apply the blended learning method during the Covid-19 pandemic

Volleyball players are also required to master good smash techniques because smash techniques are the determining factor for victory in volleyball games, tactics, physical and mental, and enthusiasm. Based on the results of observations made by researchers to all students. Researchers looked at students when playing with less body resistance, speed and power when smashing. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of tricep extension and jumping rope training on the ability to smash in volleyball games for extracurricular students at MTsN 5 Central Lombok in 2020. The research design used was experimental research, the researcher used two independent variables and one experimental variable. is the extencion and jump rope level while the dependent variable is the smash ability. The population used was 14 people, 7 did the trincep extencion exercise and 7 did rope jumping exercises, the instrument used was Nurhasan from the results of the pre-test and post-test data collection, the details of the t count was 6,885> t table 1,771 at significant level 5 % then there is an effect of tricep extension training on smash ability in volleyball for MTsN 5 Central Lombok extracurricular students in 2020 and t count 6,111> t table 1,771 at a significant level of 5% so there is an effect of rope jumping training on smash skills in volleyball on MTsN 5 middle lombok extracurricular students in 202
ANALISIS KONDISI FISIK ATLET PETANQUE UNDIKMA TAHUN 2020
This study aims to determine the physical condition of UNDIKMA petanque athletes in 2020. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study with data collection techniques using survey methods. The subjects were UNDIKMA petanque athletes, consisting of 7 male and 3 female athletes. The physical condition instruments used were tests: arm muscle strength, hand eye coordination, wrist flexion, grip strength or hand feel, arm muscle power and balance. The data obtained for each test item is raw data then converted into t-score values and then the data is interpreted by categorizing the data. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the physical condition of UNDIKMA petanque athletes in 2020 was 1 athlete (14.3%) in the excellent category, 3 athletes (42.8%) in the moderate category, 2 athletes (28.6%) in the poor category and 1 athlete (14.3%) in the very poor category. So it can be concluded that the physical condition of UNDIKMA petanque athletes in 2020 is in the medium categor
