Identifikasi Kemampuan Guru Sekolah Dasar dalam Merencanakan dan Mengimplementasikan Pembelajaran yang Berorientasi pada Kemampuan Berpikir Tingkat Tinggi Siswa
No full textPenelitian ini merupakan penilitian pendahuluan yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi sejauh mana kemampuan guru Sekolah Dasar (SD) dalam merencanakan dan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada Kemampuan Berpikir Tingkat Tinggi siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada guru-guru SD di kecamatan sekongkang yang mengajarkan materi IPA. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik statistik deskriptif yang diarahkan untuk menggambarkan kemampuan mengajar guru dalam menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa melalui perhitungan skor, mean, persentase dan penyajian data melalui tabel. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu 20 guru SD di Kecamatan Sekongkang, Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat yang sekaligus menjadi sampel penelitian. Sumber data diperoleh dari dokumentasi Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) dan Observasi kegiatan mengajar di kelas, kemudian menggunakan analisis model interaktif yang bersifat siklus antara tahap dokumentasi dan analisa data sampai tahap penyajian hasil analisis yang berupa pemaparan dan penegasan simpulan. Berdasarkan analisis RPP dan observasi kegiatan mengajar, diperoleh skor rata-rata kemampuan guru dalam menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi melalui pembelajaran adalah 54,3dan berada pada kategori kurang. Kemampuan guru dalam merencanakan dan mengimlementasikan pembelajaran yang menunjukan kemampuan membandingkan, mengklasifikasi, deduksi dan induksi siswa berada pada kategori baik. Namun masih rendah pada proses merencanakan dan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran yang mendorong adanya aktivitas analisis kesalahan, analisis perspektif, membuat keputusan, pengalaman, pemecahan masalah dan penemuan

Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian evaluasi, yaitu penelitian yang meneliti tentang Efektivitas Model Kemitraan Sekolah, dan keluarga Pada Program Pelibatan Keluarga di PAUD. Adaun model evaluasi yang digunakan menggunakan model evaluasi CIPP. Adapun yang dijadikan sebagai subyek penelitian ini adalah kelompok anak usia dini yang tersebar di 2 PAUD di Kota Mataram yaitu PAUD Mutiara Islami, dan PAUD Permata Bangsa. Adapun komponen yang dievaluasi adalah komponen konteks, input, proses, dan output. The purpose of this study was to determine The Effect ofMacromedia Director MX 2004 Application Media Towards Students’ Outcomes Class X inComputer Subjects and Basic Networks at SMKN 1 Lingsar, West Lombok Regency in AcademicYear 2019/2020.. Data collection techniques in this study used the test as the main method whiledocumentation and observation as a complement. Data analysis techniques in this study used the ttest formula. The results obtained from the results of the t-test showed the t-test of 43.85, thenbased on a significant level of 5% and N = 37 it turned out that the amount of the rejection of thenull hypothesis stated in the table was 2.042. This statement shows that the t-test value was greaterthan t-table (43.85> 2.042), because t-test was greater than t-table, this research was said to besignificant. Before getting an explanation from the teachers, the students will learn the material first in their homes. It will let them comprehend the material before being explained by their teachers. It will make the learners easily understanding the lesson which is explained by the teachers in the classroom. By doing so, it will not be complicated for the students in mastering each lesson. The purpose of this research is to know whether the textbook integrates all learning skills and to find out whether the textbook gives assessment or self-reflection to the students about each chapter. In order to do this research, the checklist and documentation method is used to investigate the content of the textbook. The result will be shown by using the table and explained clearly to avoid misunderstanding against the readers. Briefly, a good textbook used by teachers and students in the classroom plays a crucial role in the process of learning and teaching
Language Preference of Bilingual Preschool Children in Articulating Word-Object Relationships
No full textThis study attempts to focus on one factor of bilingual acquisition and language differentiation by exploring bilingual preschoolers’ language preference in articulating word-object relationships using concentrated descriptive and associative questions. Ten bilingual preschool children from the middle class families participated in the study. Pre-testing phase was conducted before the actual testing phase and the preschool teachers were consulted to confirm the data collection. These observations on general language bias as well as preferences developed by the males and females participants may have significant implications for language teaching that teachers shall carefully deliberate the kind of classroom culture they would like their learners to experience because strong language bias could possibly develop in language prejudice that may obstruct healthy bilingual development
DIVERSITY OF LEARNING: THE BASIS FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTION IN TEACHING MODALITY

Regarding the use of modalities in English as foreign language for students in Indonesia,it cannot be denied that to most of the students particularly where this research is being carried out, the students awareness of the of modalality limits up to the use of those modal verbs in text ignoring the context. In other words, the ignorance of cultural use occurs in which in contrast, language use must take tense and aspect into consideration. By that reason, the need of teaching modalities further is the main concern as the aim of this research. 80 students of the English Department of IKIP Mataram were involved as the subject of the research where formative assessment were found by applying “learning style” topic. It was implemented b means of preparing the questionnaire consisting of 1-10 with three-color-box (a,b,c) in which the students were asked to color the box with question mark inside where eventually it was found that the students’ diversity can be seen from their hobbies which they use as their learning styles. Most of students love to do sport exercise, watch movie, listening to the music, travelling, reading novel, and singing. Besides, it is also found that students are different in their learning style where some students prefer to learn by discussing, in peer, move around, learn in quite, or even to some of them, any situation things that can distract theirconcentration. In short, it can be concluded that the students are categorized as visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners.

Having had fervent idealized identity, a nation could have been led to flourishing one in terms of expancement through a national language as well as ethnic language maintenance. In line with social changes passing in capacious social aspects which trigger towards human language as social, economy, politic, and culture. These social aspects of life could have been affected by unawareness of national language maintenance. Thus, the writer puts forward social change in terms of language shift to language death. A national language is considered as a identity symbolizing the existence of it, signifying the unite of folk, and triggering towards progressive traits of nation. THE MEANING OF THE ENGLISH VARIETY SPOKEN BY THE BALINESE VENDORS IN KUTA BEACH, BALI
Get PDFThis study is concerned with the meaning of the English variety spoken by the Balinese vendors in Kuta beach, Bali which is located south of Denpasar City and become a tourism icon. As a part of tourism industry, Kuta beach is often visited by tourists from all over the world. There is a variety phenomenon in speaking English that may influence misinterpretation even though misunderstanding in face to face communication among the vendors and the tourists. This study aims to describe how is the semantic meaning which refers to the meaning in the dictionary and pragmatic meanings of the English variety of the Balinese vendors in Kuta beach, Bali. The result of this study is expected to be able to give new information to the readers about the meaning of the English variety spoken by the vendors in Kuta beach, Bali as a part of Sociolinguistics study. As descriptive study, the data findings in this study are described in form of words, phrases, and sentences. The data were collected by using two methods, participant observation and interview. Participant observation was mainly used to get the significant data from the subjects of the study. Audio and note taking techniques were used to collect the data during the participant observation. The result of the present study shows the meaning and characteristic English of Balinese vendors in Kuta beach, Bali is different from the meaning of the English used by the tourists (native speaker). Some English phrases which they use sound uncommon and sometimes they are ambiguous when they are used within a sentence
THE EFFECTIVENESS OF RANSOM NOTE GAME IN LEARNING VOCABULARY AT SMPN 1 KERUAK
Get PDFThis research was aimed at finding out the effectevenness of Ransom Note Game in learning vocabulary. this research was quasi experimental design. The populations of this research were all of students at second grade students of SMPN 1 KERUAK that consist of 284 students that consist of eight different classes. In which the sample of this research used two classes where VIII.1 Class as experimental group consisted of 32 student and VIII.3 as control group consisted of 31 students. The experimental was taught by Ransom Note Game Game and control group taught by Puzzle Game. The instruments that used were objective test with multiple choices, matching word, fill in the blank and true or false. The analysis used t-test formula. The result of the analysis, showed that the value of to (t obtained) 2, 0888 was higher than tt (t table) 1, 8702, the significant level 0, 05. Based on the result of this investigation, it was proved that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. In other words, there was significant effect of Ransom Note Game in learning vocabulary at the second grade students at SMPN 1 KERUAK in academic year 2016/2017
