PENGARUH MEDIA 3DS MAX MAKER TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA
Learning outcomesare the main thing in the world of education. However, in the learning process at Riyadlul Anwar Islamic Senior High School learning outcomes of each student are different. One of the influencing factors is teacher still uses conventional and monotonous learning media, it is causes less active participation in the learning process. On that basis, researches took another alternative by applying Max Maker 3Ds Media on student learning. The purpose of this research was to analyze the influence of 3Ds Max Maker media on student learning outcomes in ICT Subjects Class XI in Riyadlul Anwar Islamic Senior High Middle Lombok 2018/2019 Academic Year. The technique used in determining population is population study technique because the population is 21 students. The method of data collection uses the test method as the principical method and documentation as complementary method. Data analysis using the t-test formula. After research was conducted, research data was entered into the work table, then entered into formula. The results of the t-test show the value of t-count is greater than t-table at significant level of 5% with db=21,1 =20 (3,436>2,086). Based on the research findings. So, it can be concluded that there is an Effect of 3Ds Max Maker Media on Student Learning Outcomes in ICT Subjects at Riyadlul Anwar Islamic Senior High School Middle Lombok 2018/2019 Academic Year. PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MNEMONIK TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA
Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran mnemonikterhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajarn bahasa indonesia kelas VII di SMPN 15 Pujut KabupatenLombok Tengah Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen adapunpopulasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN 15 Pujut yang berjumlah 20 orangsiswa. Langkah-langkah pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode tessebagai metode pokok, sedangkan dokumentasi dan observasi sebagai metode pelengkap. Selanjutnyametode analisis data menggunakan rumus t-test. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa nilai t-hitung lebih besardari t-tabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% yakni (8,69 > 2,131). Artinya hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak danhipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh modelpembelajaran mnemonik terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VII Pada mata pelajaran bahasa indonesia diSMPN 15 Pujut tahun pelajaran 2019/2020, maka hasil penelitian ini dinyatakan Signifikan.
PENGARUH STRATEGI THE POWER OF TWO TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII PADA MATA PELAJARAN AQIDAH DAN AKHLAK
Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu penjelasan guru dalam mengajar yang bersifatmonoton, gaya mengajarnya yang bersifat membosankan, mengakibatkan siswa kurang aktif disaatproses belajar, sehingga hasil yang diperoleh kurang efektif. Salah satu untuk mengatasi masalahbelajar dengan menggunakan strategi the power of two , Strategi ini memungkinkan siswa untukbelajar berkelompok dengan memanfaatkan potensi interaksi dan kerja sama antar siswa. Ketikaproses belajar berlangsung, siswa dapat berdiskusi dan saling membantu memahami materi. Darisini diharapkan motivasi belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan. Rumusan masalahnya yaitu ApakahAda Pengaruh Strategi The Power Of Two Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa Kelas VIII Pada MataPelajaran Aqidah Dan Akhlak di MTs Darudda’wah Kelep Kecamatan Sekotong Tahun Pelajaran2019/2020? Tujuan penelitiannya untuk mengetahui Strategi the power of two terhadap motivasibelajar pada mata pelajaran aqidah dan akhlak Kelas VIII di MTs Daruddah’wah Kelep TahunPelajaran 2019/2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Metode pengumpulan datamenggunakan metode angket sebagai metode pokok, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasisebagai metode pelengkap. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik dengan rumus Chisquare. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah 2 hitung lebih kecil daripada 2tabel (7,384 < 9,488), dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Demikian penelitian ini tidak signifikan.Ini berarti hipotesis alternatif (Ho) diterima dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) ditolak. PENGARUH MEDIA EDITING VIDEO BERBENTUK TUTORIAL PEMBELAJARAN TERHADAP KREATIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA KELAS XI PADA MATA PELAJARAN PRAKARYA
The purpose of this study was to determined The Effect of Video Editing Tutorialstowards students’ Creativity Class XI at MA Darul Qur'an Wal Hadits Sekotong Tengah inAcademic Year 2018/2019. This study used samples from class XI at MA Darul Qur'an Wal HaditsTelaga Lebur Sekotong Tengah, West Lombok. This research was quantitative research todetermined The Effect of Video Editing Tutorials towards students’ Creativity Class XI at MADarul Qur'an Wal Hadits Sekotong Tengah. The method used in this study was questionnaire asthe main method, observation and documentation as a complementary method. Data analysis usedstatistical analysis chi square formula. The analysis was results obtained value = 15,943 while thechi square db (C-1) x (R-1) = (5-1) x (2-1) = 4 with a significance level of 5% = 9,488 thus thatthe value Chi square analysis was greater than the chi square table (15,943> 9,488). This meansthat the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternative hypothesis was accepted is: there was TheEffect of Video Editing Tutorials towards students’ Creativity Class XI at MA Darul Qur'an WalHadits Sekotong Tengah in Academic Year 2018/2019. so it can be concluded that the results ofthis study was "significant"
EXPLORING THE TEACHING AND LEARNING BELIEF OF AN INDONESIAN ENGLISH TEACHER
The present study investigated an English teacher’s belief regarding the best strategies to learn and teach English. A case study was employed as it explored a case (an English teacher) in depth. In-depth interviews were carried to gain deep understanding about the participant’s belief. This study reveals that he has been learning English for roughly ten years and his motivation changed from being forced to learn English (external) to having internal motivation. He believed that quality teacher affects his motivation to learn English. Concerning his personal theory about best way to learn English, he argues that there is no any best way to learn English. Instead, he believes that there are other effective approaches fitting different learning purposes. For him, the key feature to learn and teach English in his context is exposure to the language. He also believes that doing some changes like how he evaluates the learner’s skill can reduce the students’ negative feeling. He admits that these preferences as the reflection of this previous learning experiences form all his experiences in learning
NEED ANALYSIS IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING (ELL) CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENTS
Lately, the arguable consensus of curriculum has many of cavities, the experts, academicians, and stake-holders, take position, in purpose of settling the curriculum problems. The globalizing aspects of life must have had the curriculum makers do the revisions as well as developments toward the present curriculum. Developing curriculum should be setting out needs of students hence it must be related to the contexts. So, competitiveness as the keystone to develop the students’ needs. The development of the language learning curriculum should be paid attention in terms of constructed curriculum design having based on the theoretically-constituted frameworks. In the context of curriculum development, the basic assumption which should be considered in the educational programs, that is, the analysis of students’ needs. Need analysis as part of system approach to curriculum developments in the scope of educational programs. This procedure let most of linguists to employ needs analysis as the basis to language learning curriculum. The usage of such procedure is underlain upon the learners’ needs toward competitive world. In addition, the development and implementation of English Language Learning programs must be approached to the three aspects of English learning programs. These have different implications to the curriculum development, that is, each of them differs in relation to the input, process, and output. Thus, the general part of English language program curriculum design can be divided to forward design; concerning to the syllabus design, center design; the methodology of learning , and backward design; the assessment is based on the learners’ outcomes. In turn, the three designs of language learning program must be in accordance with philosophical purposes of curriculum
USING CLASSROOM-ENVIRONMENT APPROACH IN DEVELOPING THE STUDENTS’ SPEAKING SKILL AT MTS NW TEGAL
This study is aimed to prove that building students’ (MTs NW Tegal) abilities in English is easy. It can be proved from the analysis results before and after the research conducted. The early observation results show that the subject (students class II b) found any difficulties in expressing their ideas by using English. It is proved when they are demanded to introduce themselves, ask and answer the questions. To solve the problem the researcher applied classroom-environment approach. This research was conducted as long as one semester. The processes were started by doing the early observation and pre-test, then continued with teaching-learning process, and ended post-test. Reording was used to collect the data of the study. The recording was analyzed in three procedures, reduction, display and conclusion. Teachers’ Techniques in Teaching Vocabulary at the First Year Students of MTs. Asholihiyah Lopan Ketak East Lombok
This research deals with teachers’ techniques in teaching English vocabulary at the first year students of MTs Assholihiyah Lopan Ketak East Lombok. It is expected to serve as an attempt to contribute to more teachers’ techniques in teaching vocabulary at junior high school in especially in Assholihiyah Lopan Ketas East Lombok as well as the reference to the teachers who teach English vocabulary. It applied a qualitative approach. The subject of the research was one of English teacher. The data was collected through questionnaire and interview. The data was analyzed through data reduction, display, and conclusion. The result was the teacher of class 1 (1 and 2) used the identifying picture and categorizing object technique. And the teacher in class 1 (3) used categorizing objects technique to teach English vocabulary. Those techniques found from the textbook, so the teacher develops this technique by herself. In presenting English especially vocabulary, the teacher should be creative in choosing the material and able to stimulate the students interest
THE APPLICATION OF THE LEARNING STRATEGY TO IMPROVE THE SPEAKING SKILL OF THE SECOND GRADE STUDENTS AT SMA UII YOGYAKARTA IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2011/2012
The objectives of this study were to identify the problems of the second grade students in speaking English and to discover the effective steps of the learning strategy to improve the speaking skill of the second grade students at SMA UII in the academic year 2011/2012. This study applied a classroom action research and was conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, acting, observing, evaluating, and reflecting. Subjects of the research were the second grade students of SMA UII in the academic year 2011/2012. Data collecting techniques used were observation, interview, diary and speaking test. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis. Based on the research, there were four strategies applied in cycle I, i.e., the strategies of asking for clarification or verification, grouping, repeating and placing new words into a context. The result of strategies application in cycle I gave positive and negative responses that it did not give much significance to the students’ speaking skill. The highest speaking score of the students in cycle I was 18. Therefore, revision was done. There were two strategies that must be revised in cycle II, which were the strategies of grouping and repeating. As the revision was done in cycle II, students showed positive response and gave significant improvement to the students’ speaking skill. The highest speaking score of the students in cycle II was 27. Thus, it can be concluded that the learning strategy is successfully implemented and improves the speaking skill of the second grade students at SMA UII in the academic year 2011/2012.
THEMATIC PROGRESSION PATTERNS IN ELT JOURNAL ABSTRACTS
Developing an English cohesive and coherent writing requires an effort of connecting ideas grammatically and semantically. To explore this, we carried out a research study by analyzing fifteen journal abstracts from international journals in ELT whose impact factors are within the top 10 in the field. The data showed that the abstracts make use of integrated pattern, not relying simply upon a single pattern. The findings also suggest ambiguous relationship between some clauses, many of which rather represent inductive relationship; therefore coding them into the three thematic progression patterns in Eggins (1994) seemed to be less accommodating. Further research on this subject would then require more sophisticated research theoretical framework
