Spatial-Based Earthquake Disaster Risk Analysis In Parepare City, South Sulawesi
The research objectives are to create hazard maps, vulnerability maps, spatial-based risk analysis in the form of earthquake disaster risk mapsin Parepare. The earthquake disaster riskanalysis applied Geographic Information System spatial-based overlay analysismethod. Research to identify earthquake hazard risk was based on earthquake hazard factors, the vulnerability factor of population density and capacity factor. Earthquake hazard map wasgenerated from calculatingThe Peak Ground Acceleration value, procured from the source map and hazards of earthquake in Indonesia 2017 (Team 9)the peak acceleration map in the base rock for the probability exceeded 2% in the last 50 years. Automatic terrain classification map using SRTM (250 m or mesh 1 km) was obtained from Koiwahashi and Pike (2007)and the average distribution of S-waves, shallower than 30m (AVS30),were acquired from J-SHIS for each topographical characteristic (16 classes or 24 classes). The vulnerability data were used for calculating population exposure index and loss index, and the vulnerability was obtained from Focus Group discussion. The earthquake disaster risk index calculated by useing AHP method (Analytical Hierarchy Process). The calculation results showed that the villages with a high risk of earthquake disaster were Bukit Harapan Village, Bukit Indah Village, Ujung Lare Village, WatangSoreang village, and Lapadde village, while the village having the lowest risk of earthquake was Mallusetasi vill
DUCTILITY OF COUPLING BEAM USING BENDRAT FIBER SUBJECTED TO LATERAL CYCLIC LOAD
The design of the concrete structure, the tensile stress that occurs is held by reinforcing steel, while the tensile concrete is not calculated to withstand the tensile stresses that occur because the concrete will soon crack if it gets tensile stress that exceeds the tensile strength. Earthquake is one of the major problems facing Indonesia. should have sufficient strength and ductility to be able to accommodate earthquakes that occur. The purpose of this study was to analyze the ductality value of column beam relationships in the joints due to cyclic loads. The method used in this study is an experimental study method. For the length of the coupling beam the same is maintained for the whole coupling beam of 115 cm so that the beam height is calculated based on the length and the ratio of length to height, 40 cm for each specimen. The results of the study showed that the normal coupling beam component had a ductility of 3.86 while the coupling beam component which had fiber with a 40 cm joint length had a ductality value of 4.01. It was concluded that the structural performance levels of both normal and fiber coupling beam components with a length and height of 40 cm and 40 cm coupling beam models based on SNI - 1726 - 2002 were at the level of partial ductalit
HOUSEHOLDS TRAVEL BEHAVIOUR TO MARKETS IN RURAL COMMUNITIES IN AYEDAADE LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF OSUN STATE, NIGERIA
Many rural households in Nigeria are less accessible to markets to transact their business. Traders travel considerable distance and pay high transport fare to convey their goods to markets for sale. This is because many rural communities are located farther away from where the markets are situated. It is on this background that this study examined the accessibility of traders to markets in some rural communities in Ayedaade Local Government Area of Osun State. Both primary and secondary data were utilized for this research. Three sets of data were required. The first set of data focused on the socio-economic characteristics of traders such as gender classification, family composition, level of education and possession of personal means of transportation. The second data required focused on the travel pattern of rural population to markets taking into account attributes such as distance travelled, mode of transportation mostly used, average travel time and frequency of trip to market in a week. The last category of data elicited was based on constraint of women to access market centres in the region. Descriptive and inferential statistics were employed to analyse the data. Findings reveal that the pattern of distribution of markets is in the study area is dispersed rather than random. Agricultural products and few manufactured goods are traded at Olufi central market in the study area. More than 60% of traders relied on Public transport (motorcycle), which charge exorbitant transport fare to convey their goods to markets. Arrays of goods traded in the market is the first major determinant factor affecting the markets patronized by traders in the council area and this accounts for about 17.53% of the total explained variance of the factor analysis. The study therefore recommends that there is need to provide community based transport services at subsidized rate for rural communities in Nigeria so as to enhance the accessibility of women to markets and participate in other productive activities in the rural areas of Nigeria
THE STRATEGY OF SME / SMIS DEVELOPMENT IN DKI JAKARTA
This research aims to identify local government strategies in developing MSMEs. A qualitative method with observation techniques, in-depth interviews (depth interviews) and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) was applied to obtain primary data. The result was that IFE analysis with a score of 3.02 shows the internal conditions in a good category (the first rank was the marketing factor followed by production and information system factors). The result of the analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats shows that the strategy lied in quadrant I. The right strategy in this quadrant is the aggressive strategy which in this case MSME players could take advantage of opportunities that are supported by internal strengths owned, oriented towards growth strategies. The total EFE matrix score is 3.15. which shows the external conditions are in a good category were in the first rank was the government's partisanship, the business world towards MSMEs, the separation of MSMEs and SMISs, and the availability of capital. The disadvantage is the high level of social and security vulnerability. Based on the QSPM and IFE Matrix, 2 cumulative alternative strategies were obtained with the TAS value of the Product Development Strategy of 2.54 and the TAS value of the Market Development Strategy of 2.78, as the main alternative that should be chosen. Based on QSPM and EFE, the TAS value of the Product Development strategy is 2.3 and the TAS value of the Market Development Strategy is 2.82, becoming the main alternative that should be chosen

Genetic Diversity of Duabanga moluccana Blume from Two Provenances in West Nusa Tenggara Revealed by Microsatellite markers
Duabanga moluccana Blume, locally known as Rajumas, is a tree species that suitable for building materials, pulp, and plywood. The information about genetic diversity is required for the conserving of this species. Here, we elucidated the genetic diversity of D. moluccana from two provenances in West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Four microsatellite markers successfully amplified 12 randomly selected samples and produced polymorphic DNA bands. Those primers were DMAG10, DMAG09, DMACAG01 and DMTCAC11. High genetic diversity was detected in the populations with 0.54 of mean expected heterozygosity (He). The genetic variation among individuals was 100%, whereas there were no genetic variations among populations and within individual
Formulation of Bacillus and Azotobacter Consortia in Liquid Cultures: Preliminary Research on Microbes-Coated Urea
The spore-forming Bacillus and cysts forming Azotobacter are Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria which has been used as biofertilizer in sustainable agriculture since they tolerant to dried soil. Drought resistant microbes will be useful to coat urea in order to reduce the lost of nitrogen. The objectives of this preliminary study were to study the effect of molasse based liquid media on the population of Bacillus spore and Azotobacter vegetative cell and to determine the composition of four bacterial species in liquid formula. In the first experiment The Bacillus subtilis, B. megaterium, A. chroococcum and A. vinelandii were grown separately in 1% cane molasses enriched with 0.1% NH4Cl. As control treatment, The Bacillus and Azotobacter were grown in Nutrient Broth and Ashby’s mannitol broth respectively. In the second experiment, different composition of said Bacillus and Azotobacter were grown in molasses based liquid media prior to count the spore and vegetative cell. The results showed that molasses-based media supported bacterial growth and initial ratio 1:1:1:1 of liquid inoculant was effective to increase bacterial growth. This experiment suggested that the use of organic based media was useful practice of liquid biofertilizer formulation for granule urea coating
Physiological responses of growth and production of baby corn (Zea mays Saccharata L.) due to application of agricultural waste based compost and NPK fertilizer
A trial was conducted to study the physiological responses of baby corn to changes in soil fertility by application of organic and inorganic fertilizers. The research was conducted at the Teaching Farm, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Hasanuddin from May to August 2020. The experiment was arranged based on a factorial randomized block design (RBD) with two factors repeated 3 times. The first factor is the dosage of green compost consisted of four levels, namely 0, 3, 4, and 5 tons ha-1. The second factor was the percentage of NPK fertilization from the recommendations consisted of four levels, namely NPK 100%, 75%, 50%, and 25%. The results show that the treatment of 4 ton ha-1 of green compost resulted in the highest absorption rate of CO2 (336.2 µmol CO2 mol-1) and the highest humidity level (68.8%). 100% NPK fertilizer treatment showed the highest CO2 absorption rate (338.1 µmol CO2 mol-1), the highest leaf photosynthesis rate (36.1 µmol CO2m-2s-1). The treatment of 5 ton ha-1 of green compost and 100% NPK fertilizer resulted in the lowest transpiration rate (0.20 liters m-2s-1). The treatment of 3 ton ha-1 green compost and 100% NPK fertilizer resulted in earlier flowering age (46.3 days) and heaviest ear weight (63.67 g). The treatment of 5 ton ha-1 green compost with 50% NPK fertilizer resulted in the longest ear length with husk (21.72 cm). Treatment of 4 ton ha-1 green compost with 100% NPK fertilization resulted in the longest ear length without husk (10.52 cm).           Â
Digital Assets: The Idea of Indonesian Property Law Reform and Its Potential as a Collateral Object
Digital assets in the broadest sense can be interpreted to cover all electronic assets including social media accounts. Nowadays, besides being used to interaction, social media accounts can also be utilized to gain income or material benefits. In addition, social media accounts are generally handled by influencers with abundant followers. One of the social media used by influencers on the internet is YouTube. The social media actors on YouTube are referred to as YouTubers or content creators. This research is a normative juridical legal research with the descriptive method of analysis. The result of the study shows that YouTube accounts as digital assets in practice can be used as assets in business activities. This is proven by the existence of a YouTuber or content creator who sells his account for charity or commercial purposes. In the future, YouTube accounts can potentially be a digital asset that can be used as a collateral object due to its economic value. Nevertheless, based on the property of law in Indonesia, YouTube social media accounts as a digital asset cannot be qualified as an asset yet, therefore a redefinition, a reconceptualization and a reform of the property of law are considered necessary
COPING STRATEGIES WITH MUTUAL COOPERATION AND USE OF LOCAL RESOURCES ON DISASTER BY NEPALESE RURAL PEOPLE: A CASE FROM NUWAKOT DISTRICT, NEPAL
Nepal is vulnerable to environmental disasters such as earthquakes, landslides, floods and hurricanes. These disasters disproportionately affect rural life. Disaster risks are often approached in a purely technical and physical manner, but people’s behaviour in the face of natural hazards and disasters is influenced by various factors such as historical, economic, political and socio-cultural factors. This case uses a post-disaster resilience assessment focusing on cooperation during the recovery after a severe earthquake that hit central Nepal in 2015 which impacted rural communities. This paper analyses the people’s behaviour and its basic logic at post-earthquake recovery from a socio-cultural aspect focusing on the gaun, the basic minimal informal social unit. Special consideration was made to the ethnic heterogeneity of the communities studied. For the purpose of this study, key informants interview (KII), group discussion and transect walk were used. This study finds that gaun based local resources are traditional and primary resources for people’s daily life but the ward and VDC based resources are newly formed. Various forms of cooperation were observed regardless ethnicity at the gaun level. This study further reveals that local people’s activities towards the post-disaster recovery can be described in three periods. They are: emergent, resilient, reconstruction periods. On the basis of the study of these periods for post-disaster recovery, a very good social relationship among gaun people at emergency was realized
