ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN SPASIAL MATEMATIS DITINJAU DARI PERBEDAAN GENDER SISWA KELAS VIII
ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan spasial matematis siswa yang ditinjau berdasarkan perbedaan gender pada pelajaran matematika Pokok Bahasan Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar kelas VIII. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Praya. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 4 orang siswa dari 27 siswa kelas VIII dengan ketentuan 2 subjek bergender laki-laki dan 2 subjek bergender perempuan yang memiliki kemampuan spasial matematis tertinggi dari semua siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan spasial matematis dan wawancara. Teknis analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada kemampuan spasial visualization subjek laki-laki dan subjek perempuan memiliki kemampuan yang sama ditunjukkan dari kemampuan dalam menentukan komposisi suatu objek setelah dimanipulasi posisi dan bentuknya. Sedangkan dalam menyelesakan masalah yang terkait dengan spatial orientation dan spatial relation subjek laki-laki lebih dominan menggunakan kemampuan spasialnya dibandingkan subjek perempuan.Kata Kunci: Gender, Kemampuan Spasial Matematis ABSTRACTThis study aims to describe the students' mathematical spatial abilities based on gender differences in the VIII grade Mathematics subject. The population in this study were eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Praya. The subjects of this study were 4 students from 27 students of class VIII with the provisions of 2 male gender subjects and 2 female gender subjects who had the highest mathematical spatial ability of all students. The instruments used in this study were tests of mathematical spatial abilities and interviews. Technical data analysis is done by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results showed that the spatial visualization ability of male subjects and female subjects had the same ability as indicated by the ability to determine the composition of an object after being manipulated in its position and shape. Meanwhile, in solving problems related to spatial orientation and spatial relations, male subjects are more dominant in using their spatial abilities than female subjects.KeywordsGender, Mathematical Spatial Abilit
Pengaruh NPF dan BOPO terhadap Profitabilitas Bank Syariah
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi bahwa penilaian kinerja keuangan perusahaan perbankan perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan perusahaan dalam menghasilkan keuntungan dan mengelola serta mengalokasikan sumber daya yang dimiliki perusahaan. Penilaian kinerja perusahaan perbankkan juga diperlukan oleh investor maupun calon investor untuk mengetahui bagaimana perkembangan dana investasi dan risiko yang akan dialami oleh investor tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Non Performing Financing (NPF) dan Biaya Operasional per Pendapatan Operasional (BOPO) secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap profitabilitas pada Bank Syariah yang terdaftar di Bank Indonesia.pada periode 2015-2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode statistik deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan data sekunder dengan metode dokumentasi berupa ringkasan laporan keuangan bank. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dan hanya diambil 5 bank umum syariah sebagai sampel, karena telah memenuhi kriteria pengambilan sampel dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan software SPSS for windows versi 23.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) NPF dan BOPO secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas pada bank umum syariah yang terdaftar di Bank Indonesia, (2) NPF dan BOPO secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas pada bank umum syariah yang terdaftar di Bank Indonesia. KATA KUNCI : Non Performing Financing (NPF), Biaya Operasional per Pendapatan Operasional (BOPO), Return On Assets (ROA)
KERAGAMAN DAN PENGAMBILAN RISIKO DI BANK SYARIAH : PENTINGKAH LISTING PRODUCT ?
Penelitian ini mengkaji dua dimensi keragaman pada dewan direksi (BOD) dan dewan pengawas syariah (DSB), yaitu keragaman gender dan keragaman pendidikan, dan pengaruhnya terhadap pengambilan risiko oleh bank syariah. Studi ini memperluas literatur dengan memeriksa apakah pengaruh keragaman gender dan pendidikan terhadap pengambilan risiko bank syariah berbeda berdasarkan apakah bank tersebut terdaftar secara publik. Berdasarkan sampel bank syariah di dua puluh enam negara, temuan menunjukkan bahwa representasi perempuan yang lebih besar di BOD mengurangi kebangkrutan risiko pada bank syariah yang terdaftar dan bahwa keragaman pendidikan anggota Direksi dan DPS memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pengambilan risiko bank syariah, tergantung pada apakah mereka terdaftar secara publik. Hasilnya kuat untuk ukuran risiko berbasis pasar dan penggunaan perbedaan yang digeneralisasikan metode penduga momen dan teknik pencocokan skor kecenderungan.Kata kunci: Keragaman gender; Keragaman pendidikan; bank syaria
PENGARUH FINANCING TO DEPOSIT RATIO (FDR) TERHADAP RETURN ON ASSET (ROA) PADA BANK SYARIAH ANAK PERUSAHAAN BUMN DI INDONESIA PERIODE 2011-2019
This study aims to analyze the effect of Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) on Return On Asset (ROA) in Islamic banks, a subsidiary of BUMN. This research is classified as a descriptive quantitative research. This research was conducted at the Sharia Bank Subsidiaries of BUMN, namely Bank Syariah Mandiri, Bank BRI Syariah, and Bank BNI Syariah. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the quarterly financial reports for the 2011-2019 period. Data collection techniques through literature and documentation. The analysis method used in this research is Simple Regression Analysis, Descriptive Test, and Classical Assumption Test. As for the hypothesis test used is the t test and the test of determination (R2).From the results of the analysis, it shows that the FDR condition is in the quite good category. Then for the ROA condition it is in the quite good category. Based on several tests that have been carried out, it is known that FDR does not have a significant effect on ROA. This is evidenced in the results of the Determination Test which shows that the size of the FDR ratio is only able to affect the ROA ratio by 0.005 or 0.5%. This means that FDR has a very weak influence in increasing the ROA of Sharia Banks in BUMN Subsidiaries. This is due to other factors that more influence ROA, such as CAR, NPF, and BOPO. Keywords: Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and Return on Assets (ROA). Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) terhadap Retun On Asset (ROA) pada bank syariah anak perusahaan BUMN. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Bank Syariah Anak Perusahaan BUMN yaitu Bank Syariah Mandiri, Bank BRI Syariah, dan Bank BNI Syariah. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari laporan keuangan triwulan periode 2011-2019. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Analisis Regresi Sederhana, Uji Deskriptif, Uji Asumsi Klasik. Sementara untuk uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah Uji T dan Uji Determinasi (R2). Dari hasil analisis, menunjukkan bahwa kondisi FDR termasuk dalam kategori cukup baik. Kemudian untuk kondisi ROA termasuk dalam kategori cukup baik. Berdasarkan beberapa uji yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwasannya FDR  tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap ROA. Hal ini dibuktikan dalam hasil Uji Determinasi yang menunjukkan bahwa ukuran rasio FDR hanya mampu mempengaruhi rasio ROA sebesar 0,005 atau 0,5%. Artinya FDR memiiki pengaruh sangat lemah dalam meningkatkan ROA Bank Syariah Anak Perusahaan BUMN. Hal ini diakibatkan adanya faktor lain yang lebih mempengaruhi ROA seperti CAR, NPF, dan BOPO. Kata Kunci: Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) dan Return on Asset (ROA)
Model Pengelolaan Full day school untuk Menumbuhkan Karakter Islami pada Siswa SMA di Kota Surakarta
The education system develops more dynamically and massively. Learning systems and models are developed to positively influence the character development of students. This research specifically aims to describe and explain the full-day school management model in high schools in Surakarta. After using a purposive random sampling method, the sources of data in this research include Muhammadiyah I Senior High School Surakarta and Al-Abidin Boarding Senior High School. The data were collected using three techniques (field observation, interview, and documentation). It was found that there are several stages in the management of full-day school, including planning, annual work program preparation, and classroom management stages. The planning begins with an evaluation of the teaching and learning activities of the school year that has already taken place and a review of the school's vision and mission. The program preparation is presented at the program preparation meeting attended by all school residents for the next one-year program. Classroom management in the full-day school system includes timetable management, break time management, giving ice breaking, and management of religious activities and excellent programs.Keywords: management model; character education; Islamic character; full day school syste
Penciptaan Peluang Bisnis Melalui Inovasi Lahan Produktif dimasa Pandemi Covid -19
The Covid-19 virus, which has spread in various countries in the world, is one of the causes of the recent economic downturn. Many people have experienced an economic downturn and have even lost their jobs due to company cuts in the number of employees. The Covid-19 virus also has not shown any signs of ending soon and even based on the monitoring of the Covid-19 Task Force, PDP cases are likely to increase. Therefore a strategy is needed to get around the current economic downturn in our country. One of them is by creating business opportunities through innovative productive yards to coincide with the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted in Padangan Village using qualitative methods with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. By utilizing productive yards adapted to environmental conditions, it will be able to support the community's economy
Persepsi Masyarakat Terhadap Bank Syariah Indonesia (Public Perception of Bank Syariah Indonesia)
The research aims to see the extent of public perception of Indonesian Islamic banks. The object of this research is the customers of Islamic banks in the city of Kediri. By using a qualitative and descriptive approach, as well as perception theory, this study concludes that the function and existence of Islamic banking is not only a place for saving or Islamic transactions but also a place to increase worship values. This public perception can be seen from people's understanding of the relationship between Islam and Islamic banking. The public can understand the involvement of Islamic teachings in every activity in Islamic banking. Public perception of the decision to choose to bank is a process of interpreting the object of perception, namely Islamic banking, whether concrete or not, and this is influenced by knowledge in the form of information, experience, motivation, and desires according to their needs
THE USE OF GOOGLE MEET FOR ONLINE MICROTEACHING
The social distancing and the closure of schools during the Pandemic force both teachers and students to teach and study remotely. In order to facilitate pre-service teachers learning to teach, the instructor of the Microteaching who is also the researcher opted to use Google Meet (GM) as a teaching platform in Microteaching class. Aiming at uncovering the perspectives of pre-service teachers in using GM as an online teaching platform for teaching their peers, the current study involved the sixth semester students in Microteaching class as its research participants. The main data were obtained through open-ended questionnaire. To triangulate the data, the videos of five pre-service teachers’ teaching demonstrations and five students’ written reflections were also used as a source of data. The obtained data were analyzed thematically based on the emerging themes. In so doing, the researcher firstly read the results of the open-ended questionnaire and the students’ reflection closely and started codifying the data. The findings show that preservice teachers have positive impression toward the use of GM and consider that as useful in the pandemic time. In terms of the challenge they faced, internet connection was found to be the major obstacle in teaching peers using GM
ENGLISH – MAJORED STUDENTS’ PERCEPTIONS ON TEACHERS’ USE OF VIETNAMESE IN EFL CLASSROOMS
Previous studies were conducted to discover the use of L1 in EFL classrooms, however, few studies investigated the students’ perception towards the teachers’ use of L1 in EFL classrooms, especially those for English – majored students. The present study was conducted to examine English – majored students’ perceptions towards their teachers’ use of mother tongue as Vietnamese in EFL classrooms in a university in Mekong Delta, Vietnam. The research was designed as a descriptive study with the mixed method using questionnaire and interview as the research instruments. There were 131 participants in this research. The findings of the study revealed that students preferred teachers’ use of mother tongue in the specialized classes (linguistics course, literal courses, and interpretation and translation courses, etc.), grammar courses, and some activities such as explaining incomprehensible words. However, they wished to have more English instruction in language skills classes to enhance their target language proficiency. Several disadvantages of using Vietnamese were also mentioned, for instance, hindering learners’ language improvement, causing their laziness and passiveness. Suggestions are proposed to raise EFL teacher’s awareness on the extent of English and Vietnamese in their teaching to help leaners achieve objective of the class
STORIES OF IDENTITY CONSTRUCTION AND CLASSROOM PARTICIPATION IN AN ENGLISH-MEDIUM UNIVERSITY
This narrative study explores identity construction and classroom participation of an Indonesian student who attended a master program in TESOL in an Australian university. Grounded from identity and investment frameworks (Norton, 2000) and situated learning theory (Lave Wenger, 1991), the study specifically probes into the changing identity construction across time shaped by the participant’s involvement in the community of practice. Data analysis followed Polkinghorne’s (1995) categorical procedure and Connelly and Clandinin’s (2006) three-dimensional space of narrative inquiry. The findings portray gradual and complex identity construction mediated by the participant’s agentive classroom participation. It was also found that the participant’s identity evolved across time together with a movement from peripheral to full participation. This study informs that L2 learning is dependent on social, emotional, cultural, and situated practices depicted in L2 learner’s classroom participation. It also highlights the need for incorporating narrative inquiry to understand multiple, subjective, and conflicting values in L2 learning and other educational contexts
