    METODE PENGAJARAN BACA AL-QUR'AN DI INDONESIA DALAM PERSPEKTIF PEMBELAJARAN PERMULAAN BAHASA ARAB

    Arabic and the Qur'an are like two sides of a coin that cannot be separated from oneanother, learning Arabic is a mandatory requirement for mastering the contents of theQur'an and learning the language of the Qur'an means learning Arabic. However, 80%of the recipients of the Qur'an today are not Arabic speakers, while those who do notspeak Arabic must continue to accept the Qur'an in its pure language, namely Arabic.This study uses a library research approach, which is a study carried out to solve aproblem by using library materials. This type of scientific work contains a topic thatcontains ideas, which are supported by data obtained from library sources. Collectingstudy data sourced from books, magazines, newspapers, articles and so on, then analyzed using data analysis techniques. In this study, the conclusions: 1) In Indonesia, generally Hijaiyah letters are taught using the sound method, meaning that students are taught the sound of the letters instead of the alphabet. This tends to be more of a method of learning to read and write the Qur'an. 2) Although the main goal of Muslims is not to learn Arabic, but the method of teaching reading the Qur'an can be used to teach reading the beginning of Arabic because the author sees that there are similarities in the material to be delivered.Keywords: Arabic, Qur’an, method of teachin

    Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dari kesulitan siswa dalam Pelajaran Bahasa Arab, pada dasarnya dalam pembelajaran bahasa asing, kosa kata merupakan salah satu dari tiga unsur bahasa yang sangat penting dikuasai. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan buku ajar kosa kata dengan media lagu di Mts Hidayatus Sholihin serta melihat efektifitas dari buku yang dikembangkan.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Mufrodat dengan metode bernyanyi untuk kelas 7 di Mts Hidayatus Sholihin Gurah Kediri. 2) Efektivitas penerapan Bahan Ajar Mufrodat dengan metode bernyanyi untuk kelas 7 di Mts Hidayatus Sholihin Gurah Kediri. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian RD yang dikembangkan oleh Borg and Gall yang terdiri dari 10 langkah dan metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu wawancara, angket dan tes.Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Hasil pengembangan produk berupa buku pendamping untuk pembelajaran Bahasa Arab siswa kelas 7 yang berisi kosa kata yang disusun sesuai dengan nada lagu. Adapun hasil validasi dari para ahli untuk menilai produk sebagai berikut: hasil dari ahli materi  83, 07 %, hasil dari ahli media 93, 84 %, dan dari praktisi pembelajaran bahasa arab 98, 33 % berdasarkan paparan data tersebut maka pembelajaran mufrodat dengan metode bernyanyi dinyatakan sangat baik. 2) hasil Uji-T, hasil t-hitung antara nilai pretest dan post test sebesar 3, 262 sedangkan hasil t-tabel sebesar 2, 015. Maka dapat disimpulkan t-hitung t-tabel, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yaitu terdapat perbedaan hasil pembelajaran mufrodat di kelas 7 Mts Hidayatus Sholihin sebelum menggunakan metode bernyanyi dengan sesudahnya. Dari nilai eksperimen tersebut dapat disimpulkan metode bernyanyi dalam pembelajaran mufrodat  untuk kelas 7 di Mts Hidayatus Sholihin di nyatakan “efektifâ€

    DESCRIBING A SYSTEMATIC REFLECTION FOR PRE-SERVICE TEACHERS' PROFESSIONAL IDENTITY: A CASE STUDY

    To fill the gap and add literature on systematic reflections in the area of teacher identity developments, this research, which is a part of a larger case study, described how reflection class followed by pre-service teachers of English language in a teacher development program in Indonesia (PPG Pra-jabatan) was conducted. Using a single case study with embedded design and multiple data sources (observations, interviews, and document analysis), this research found that in its effort to help pre-service teachers' identity development, the reflection class followed a certain procedure that comprises of two phases (i.e. reflection phase and publication preparation phase). In addition, this research also found some protocols that were adhered by the reflection class (i.e. involving social reflection, providing a safe and secure learning environment, feedback provision to the reflections, and giving appropriate prompts). This research recommends the teacher education and teacher professional development programs give more attention to how reflection is conducted. In particular, it is suggested that some protocols of conducting a good reflection are considered so that the pre-service teachers can make the most of the reflective activities

    Kemiskinan adalah masalah utama di Indonesia, untuk mengatasinya dibutuhkan solusi yang melibatkan masyarakat secara partisipatoris agar mencapai pemberdayaan. Untuk itu pemberdayaan dilakukan oleh Koperasi ini dapat berperan dalam peningkatan kesejahteraan ekonomi. program yang bisa dijalankan yaitu; pembiayaan, pendampingan usaha. Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk (1) menjelaskan bagaimana Program Pemberdayaan Koperasi Lembaga Keuangan Mikro Syariah Amanah Makmur Sejahtera; (2) Bagaimana Program Pemberdayaan Koperasi Lembaga Keuangan Mikro Syariah Amanah Makmur Sejahtera dalam Meningkatkan Kesejahteraan Keluarga.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan menggunakan tiga metode pengumpulan data, yaitu metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Untuk menganalisis data, peneliti menggunakan tiga jalur analisis yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan data. Untuk pengecekan keabsahan data, Pengecekan keabsahan data adalah perpanjangan waktu peneliti di Koperasi Lembaga Keuangan Mikro Syariah Amanah Makmur Sejahtera , ketekunan pengamatan serta triangulasi.Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa Program Pemberdayaan Koperasi Lembaga Keuangan Mikro Syariah Amanah Makmur sejahtera  mampu meningkatkan kesejahteraan nasabahnya Mayoritas nasabah menyatakan bahwa setelah adanya Program Pemberdayaan Koperasi sampai saat ini memang berperan besar dalam membantu meningkatkan perekonomian nasabah. Pada saat ini nasabah telah mengalami sejahtera selaras dengan teori menurut Sugiharto bahwa indikator kesejahteraan antara lain pendapatan, konsumsi atau pengeluaran keluarga, keadaan tempat tinggal, kesehatan anggota keluarga, kemudahan mendapatkan pelayanan kesehatan, kemudahan memasuki anak ke jenjang pendidikan dan kemudahan mendapatkan fasilitas transportasi.  Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan Koperasi, meningkatkan Kesejahteraa

    DEMOTIVATION LEVEL AND DEMOTIVATORS AMONG EFL STUDENTS IN HOME ONLINE ENGLISH LEARNING DURING THE PANDEMIC

    Abstract: Although recognizing students’ demotivating factors (or demotivators) is as important as acknowledging motivating factors in language learning, only few studies are focused in this area especially in the Indonesian context. More specifically, there are limited studies investigating demotivators in home online English learning as response of social distancing order amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This research employed two kinds of data, quantitative and qualitative. Questionnaire with 27 items was the main instrument used to obtain data about learners’ level of demotivation and demotivators as well as to identify the frequency of each demotivator. An open-ended question was attached at the end of the questionnaire to dig other additional demotivators. An interview was also conducted to gain supporting data for in-depth analysis. The results showed that the level of the 198 students’ demotivation was 2.9, categorized as lowly demotivated. The most-frequently rated demotivators in home online English learning were lack of interaction with 78.9% responses followed by 66.2% for increasing assignments and 62.1% for slow Internet connection. In terms of content and material, expectation to use grammatically correct English was the most demotivating factor with 59.6% responses. The study also revealed additional demotivators namely unsupportive parents, doing house chores, and Wi-fi absence.Keywords:     demotivator, home online English learning, level of demotivatio

    STUDENTS’ LEARNING APPROACHES IN THE EFL EMERGENCY ONLINE LEARNING CONTEXT

    Emergency online learning has transformed today’s learning while opening up opportunities and challenges, one of which is learning approach. This study aims to investigate students’ learning approach in the English Education study program in emergency online learning. A mixed-method was employed using two instruments; R-SPQ-2F questionnaire and semi-structured interviews. The results of the instrument check showed that the R-SPQ-2F survey and interview guide were valid (.90) and reliable (α=.88). Calculated using Slovin formula, there were 302 respondents for this study. The survey data were analysed using R-SPQ-2F mean score analysis and interview data were with interactive model analysis. The results of the study indicate that the learning approach of students in the English education study program in the context of emergency learning tends to be deep. The interview results provide important information that the student approach is influenced by several supporting and inhibiting factors. This shows that the student learning approach is dynamic in adjusting to learning process. Policy makers, lecturers, and students need to consider aspects of this learning approach in the current emergency online situation for a more effective and meaningful learning process

    Abstract: The research studies the tradition of recitation nariyah 4444 blessings in Islamic boarding school Al-Jihad Surabaya. The focus is on knowing the signification of selawat nariyah and its relevance as a means of tawasul. It is based field research, that is, concerning living hadits phenomena characterized by descriptive, qualitative and inductive study. It means that the research aimed at gaining general picture or the description about living hadits. The approach to be used in the study is phenomenological one combined with functional theory. It results that the developing tradition in the life of Al-Jihad people is living-hadits one. In addition, there are some principal hadits to be used as guide in the activity.     PELAKSANAAN LAYANAN REFERENSI DI PERPUSTAKAAN IAIN KEDIRI

    The service of reference aims to assist library users in finding information, by answering questions using reference collections, and providing guidance on finding and how to use reference collections. This study wants to answer two questions; firstly theimplementation of reference services at the IAIN Kediri library, secondly, the obstaclesthat occur in the implementation of reference services, and how to resolve these obstacles. This research is a qualitative research, which is trying to describe the implementation of reference services at the IAIN Kediri Library. The data source of this research is field data obtained from observations and documentation and interviews with reference librarians. The results of this study indicate that the reference services at the IAIN Kediri library are search services, reference collection utilization services and collection utilization training services. In the implementation of reference services, there are a number of obstacles as follows: first, the competence of human resources for librarians, second, the lack of complete collections and third, the lack of promotion of reference services. To overcome this problem, it can be done through tiered education for reference librarians, collaborating with various parties and conducting regular evaluations to build a quality culture (corporate culture) in the library.Keywords : Service, reference, librar

    Argumentasi merupakan salah satu teknik yang terbaik dalam menyampaikan pesan dakwah, para nabi bahkan Allah SWT dalam menyampaikan Firnan-Nya banyak menggunakan teknik argumentasi baik melalui perbandingan, pertentangan, persamaan, sebab dan akibat, genus dan definisi, keadaan atau sirkumstansi dan kesaksian atau autoritas. Keunggulan teknik argumentasi digunakan sebagai cara penyampaian pesan dakwah dapat memengaruhi kepercayaan mad’u agar sepakat, meyakini, dan mau mengikuti kehendak da’i. Selain itu, melalui argumentasi kebenaran Islam lebih dapat dipertanggungjawabkan dan menunjukkan da’i memiliki keluasan ilmu Islam. Tujuan tulisan ini ingin mengetahui elemen, teknik dan pola argumentasi Husein Ja’farAl-Hadar dalam diskusi Ketaatan pada Orang Tua bersama Tretan Muslim. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui tinjauan teori argumentasi. Hasil kajian tulisan ini menunjukkan elemen, teknik dan pola menurut Gorys Keraf dan Toulmin adalah: a) Elemen argumentasi yang digunakan oleh Habib Ja’far terdiri dari claim, datum, dan warrant, sedangkan elemen backing, modal qualifier, dan rebuttal tidak banyak dipergunakan. b) Teknik argumentasi yang digunakan oleh Habib Ja’far meliputi teknik genus dan definisi, teknik perbandingan, teknik persamaan, teknik sebab akibat, dan teknik kesaksian dan autoritas. c) Pola argumentasi yang digunakan oleh Habib Ja’far dominan menggunakan model ke-3 yang memiliki struktur elemen dari claim, datum, dan warrant.Kata kunci: Teknik argumentasi, Habib Ja’far dan Tretan Muslim, Ketaatan pada Orang tu

    Arabic Language Learning Model Through Extracurricular Activities At Wali Songo Islamic Boarding School Ngabar Ponorogo

    The Wali Songo Islamic Boarding School located in the village of Ngabar Ponorogo which was established in 1961 is one of the cottages that implement Arabic language learning that combines formal and non-formal education. Non-formal education is carried out by teaching Arabic through extracurricular activities. The combination of these two learning models has proven to be able to produce alumni who are proficient in Arabic, both written and spoken.The type of research conducted by researchers in this study is qualitative. While the data acquisition is obtained in the field directly at the location of the data source. Data were also obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation.The purpose of this research is to find out what models have been implemented by Boarding School, how the implementation of the model, and how the results of the application of the model. So that this model is expected to be developed by the Boarding School and can inspire other institutions to improve the quality of Arabic learning for their students.The results of this study conclude that the Wali Songo Ngabar Islamic Boarding School in improving Arabic language skills, learning is not only delivered in class, but Arabic learning is applied and taught outside of class hours through extracurricular activities. There are several models of extracurricular activities in Arabic learning that are designed and have been practiced at the Wali Songo Islamic Boarding School Ngabar, namely: Ilqoul Mufrodat Jadidah (delivery of new vocabulary), Muhadatsah (conversation), Muhadhoroh (speech), Idhof lughowi (language tutoring), Shohafiyah (journalism), and Fanniyatul khoth (writing)
