Pendapatan dan Kesejahteraan Petani Padi di Kawasan KP2B Kecamatan Abung Timur Kabupaten Lampung Utara
The increasing conversion of agricultural land, especially rice fields, has become a particular concern for the government considering rice as the staple food of the community. Based on this, the government is striving to minimize land conversion by establishing sustainable food agricultural protection areas (KP2B), as rice fields have the potential to improve farmers' welfare. This study aims to analyze the income from rice farming, the income of rice farming households, and the welfare level of rice farming households in Merbau Mataram District, South Lampung Regency. This research uses a survey method. The research location was deliberately chosen in the Abung Timur District, North Lampung Regency, as one of the districts with the largest rice harvest area in North Lampung Regency and is a KP2B area. The respondents in this study are rice farmers. The selection of respondents, 75 rice farmers, used a random sampling technique (system random sampling). The data analysis used includes income analysis, R/C, and household welfare analysis based on the criteria of Sajogyo (1997), BPS (2014), and expenditure share. The research results indicate that the income from rice farming in the sustainable food agriculture area (KP2B) in the Abung Timur District, with a land area of 0.56 ha, amounts to Rp 29,297,079.20 per year. Rice farming is a profitable and viable business unit with an R/C value of 3.49. Meanwhile, the income of rice farmer households in the sustainable food agriculture area (KP2B) in Abung Timur District amounts to Rp 48,016,257.28 per year. The share of income from total rice farming (on-farm) is 61.01 percent, income from outside rice farming (off-farm) is 17.93 percent, and non-agricultural income (non-farm) is 21.05 percent. Based on the welfare classification by Sajogyo, the Central Statistics Agency 2014, and the expenditure share of the welfare level of rice farmers in the sustainable food agriculture area (KP2B) of Abung Timur District, they are classified as prosperous
Efisiensi Pemasaran Kopi Arabika di Kabupaten Tana Toraja
Most of the raw Arabica coffee in Tana Toraja Regency is marketed in the form of Horn Skin (HS) coffee. This study aims to analyze the marketing efficiency of raw Arabica coffee in Tana Toraja Regency. The research was conducted in Mengkendek and Gandangbatu Sillanan Districts using a snowball sampling method, while sample selection was carried out through purposive sampling. The samples in this study consisted of coffee processing industries, namely the Autonomous Business Unit (UUO) of Agribusiness Toraja and Gandangbatu Coffee, as well as marketing institutions involved in the distribution of raw Arabica coffee to these industries. Data were collected through surveys and analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative approaches, applying the Structure-Conduct-Performance (S-C-P) model as the analytical framework. The results indicate that the most efficient marketing system for raw Arabica coffee is the marketing system for cherry coffee. Although the market structure in this system tends to be monopsonistic, farmers still maintain strong bargaining power. This is due to the limited number of farmers who can sell cherry coffee, as it requires a high-quality standard. As a result, farmers receive higher prices. Additionally, farmers do not incur marketing costs, making the marketing margin and profit margin ratio in the cherry coffee marketing system equal to zero
Pengembangan Budidaya Kerapu Cantang (Epinephelus Sp) sebagai Alternatif Pendapatan Desa Lembung, Kecamatan Galis, Kabupaten Pamekasan
The fisheries sector is one of the leading sectors in Indonesia that plays an important role in driving economic growth, as well as providing an impact on society. Aquaculture commodities that have a high chance of growing include grouper. Based on preliminary studies, there are challenges faced in grouper cultivation in Lembung Village, Galis District, Pamekasan Regency, namely fish growth that is not optimal and a high mortality rate of up to 64%. Therefore, this research has the following objectives: i) analyze the feasibility of grouper farming, and ii) formulate a strategy for developing grouper farming. Data analysis methods applied include: cost analysis, total revenue analysis, income analysis and R/C ratio, and SWOT analysis. The results explained that grouper farming can be an alternative source of income for salt farmers in the face of fluctuations in salt prices due to climate change. In addition, the R/C ratio value of 1.39 shows that this business is feasible to run with the profit obtained reaching Rp.16,931,001. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, the difference between the X score of -0.30 and Y score of -0.11 is obtained, which places this business in quadrant IV, namely the W-T strategy. This strategy aims to minimize internal weaknesses and keep external threats away. Strategies that can be carried out are by providing adequate and balanced feed for fish and monitoring (W3, T3). Then improve the ability of human resources through training in grouper cultivation to increase knowledge and skills and overcome disease attacks on fish caused by parasites and pathogens (W1, W2, T1, T2, T3)
Kajian Integrasi Vertikal dan Dinamika Pasar Beras di Jawa Timur
This study aims to analyze the relationship of vertical integration in the rice market in East Java Province, involving the producer, wholesaler, and retailer levels. The main focus of this research is to analyze price transmission between different market levels and the interconnection among market players within the rice supply chain. The method used is secondary data analysis in the form of weekly time series from January 2020 to August 2024, applying the Vector Autoregression (VAR) model and the Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) stationarity test. The analysis results show that rice prices between market levels influence each other in a bidirectional manner, with a significant long-term effect from retail prices. The wholesale market also plays a crucial role in price transmission between market levels. These findings reflect the complex rice market structure in East Java, which requires further attention in formulating pricing policies to achieve sustainable stability
Faktor-faktor yang Memengaruhi Partisipasi Anggota Pada Kelompok Tani Tampirejo Makmur di Kelurahan Rowosari Tembalang Semarang
The success of farmer groups in achieving their goals and the welfare of their members depends on member participation. Member participation is related to the cohesiveness of the farmer group, where higher participation leads to greater cohesiveness. This study aims to: 1) Describe the participation of farmers in the Tampirejo Makmur farmer group in Rowosari, Tembalang, Semarang. 2) Describe the cohesiveness of the Tampirejo Makmur farmer group in Rowosari, Tembalang, Semarang. 3) Analyze the relationship between farmer participation and the cohesiveness of the Tampirejo Makmur farmer group in Rowosari, Tembalang, Semarang. The research was conducted from November to December 2023 in the Tampirejo Makmur farmer group. The research location was purposefully selected, considering that the Tampirejo Makmur group is a mid-level farmer group with the largest membership of 92 individuals. The research method employed was observational. The respondents were all members of the Tampirejo Makmur farmer group. The data analysis method used was quantitative descriptive analysis, scoring the responses from the research instruments, which were then statistically analyzed to determine the levels of cohesiveness and participation, as well as the relationship between the two variables. The analysis results indicated that the level of participation among members of the Tampirejo Makmur farmer group was low. Age, education level, leadership capability, socialization intensity, and external stimuli from the government or other parties influenced participation. Age and education level had no partial effect, while leadership capability, socialization intensity, and external stimuli had a partial effect on member participation. The study suggests that farmer groups should enhance collaboration with agricultural institutions to improve participation by providing relevant agricultural information
Hubungan Volatilitas Harga Konsumsi Beras Terhadap Ketahanan Pangan di Jawa Timur
Food security policies have been established covering aspects of food availability, distribution and price stability, food access, and supporting policies. Stable food prices are generally also desired by the public because highly fluctuating prices have implications for the risks and uncertainties that must be faced in making decisions when prices fluctuate beyond the normal limits of price stabilisation, so the Government immediately intervenes, for example when price increases occur in rice commodities. Food price volatility will have a long-term impact on producer income and disrupt commodity trading activities and will make strategic commodity price fluctuations that occur causing food commodity market players, both producers and consumers, to experience difficulties in carrying out economic activities. Therefore, a risk analysis of food commodity prices is needed so that price fluctuations can be resolved immediately. Domestic prices fluctuate so much that this research is important to do to determine the volatility of the retail price of rice as the main food in East Java. Based on ARCH / GACRH analysis, the best model for rice price volatility at the consumption level is ARIMA (1,1) - GARCH (1,0), the volatility value obtained is 0.53 which is included in the low volatility level. While the relationship between rice price volatility and average weekly consumption per capita which illustrates the level of food security is 0.940, so there is a close relationship. So that the government is obliged to make policies so that rice prices remain stable at the consumer level, so that there are no price spikes that will affect food security

Analisis Daya Saing Ekspor Kayu Manis Indonesia Terhadap Lima Negara Tujuan Ekspor
Cinnamon is one of Indonesia's leading spice commodities with great international trade potential. Indonesia is known as one of the world's major producers and exporters of cinnamon, with export destination countries such as the United States, France, the Netherlands, Thailand and Malaysia. However, the competitiveness of Indonesian cinnamon exports experiences different dynamics in each destination country. This study aims to analyze the competitiveness of Indonesian cinnamon exports to the five destination countries using two approaches, namely the Index of Trade Specialization (ISP) and Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA). The data used is secondary data taken from TradeMap and UN Comtraded in the form of export and import values of Indonesian and world cinnamon from 2015-2024 and analyzed quantitatively. The results showed that Indonesia's ISP value was consistently in the positive range (0-1), which indicated that Indonesia was an exporter of cinnamon even though it had the lowest index in 2021. Meanwhile, the RCA value against five export destination countries shows that Indonesian cinnamon has a comparative advantage, with the highest RCA value in France at an average of 233,73 and the lowest in Malaysia at an average of 11,62. These findings indicate that Indonesia's cinnamon competitiveness position is still strong but requires a market differentiation and diversification strategy to reduce dependence on specific countries and be able to face increasingly complex global competition
