    Teluk Sampit District in East Kotawaringin Regency holds significant potential in the agricultural sector, particularly in supporting national food security. This study aims to measure farmers' satisfaction with the availability of subsidized fertilizers, analyze the impact of fertilizer availability on agricultural productivity, and evaluate the relationship between farmers' satisfaction and crop productivity. The research employs descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression, with data collected through questionnaires administered to 286 farmers who receive subsidized fertilizers. The results indicate that farmers in Teluk Sampit are generally satisfied with the type, price, and quality of the fertilizers; however, complaints regarding the timeliness and quantity of distribution were also noted. Subsidized fertilizers have been shown to have a positive effect on agricultural production, particularly in the food crop subsector. Based on the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), the level of farmers' satisfaction is categorized as "satisfied" with a score of 61.52%. To enhance productivity and farmer satisfaction, improvements in fertilizer distribution, evaluation of input assistance programs, and increased technical support for farmers are necessary

    The productivity of sweet corn in Kubu Raya Regency is still low even though sweet corn is one of the most profitable cultivation groups. This research aims to analyze the influence of age, education, experience and family support on swet corn productivity. This research was conducted from February to June 2024. This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 100 sweet corn farmers in Rasau Jaya Satu Village and Rasau Jaya Dua Village, Rasau Jaya District, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan Province. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews and filling out questionnaires directly. Testing research instruments uses validity and reliability tests. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis by testing classical assumptions first with SPSS version 23 software. The results of the research show that the four variables, namely age, education, experience and family dependents, have an effect on sweet corn productivity. Experience in farming sweet corn has a positive effect because experience will make farmers understand the environmental conditions where they are farming and know the problems and be able to find solutions when carrying out farming activities. The longer someone does their job, the more skilled, diligent, painstaking and qualified they will be. There is a need to improve skills and strategies for allocating time working outside the agricultural sector and continuing to work side jobs in the agricultural sector so that productivity can increase with more efficient time

    Rice is an important food commodity because it is a staple food and source of income for the Indonesian population. Ajubissue Village is a village where the majority of the people work as rice farmers. Efforts to increase rice production continue to be made by the government to maintain food availability and increase farmers' income and welfare. However, there are several urgent problems in Ajubissue Village, namely the low capacity of rice farmers in using rice farming production factors, the use of less superior seeds, the procurement of expensive production input facilities. , it is difficult for farmers to obtain fertilizer, as well as the lack of awareness of farmers in using optimal, efficient and effective production factors so that the productivity of the rice produced is still low and affects farmers' income which has an impact on the welfare of rice farmers. The urgency of this problem means that research on the Contribution of Rice Farmer Group Business Income to the welfare of rice farmers needs to be carried out in Ajubissue Village. The aim of this research is to analyze rice farming income and analyze how much rice farming income contributes to farmers' welfare. This research method is quantitative and qualitative, while the method used is a survey method. The research was conducted in Ajubissue Village, Pitu Riase District with a total of 30 rice farmers as respondents who were determined using the Simple Random Sampling Method. The data analysis tool method used is multiple regression with the Cobb-Douglass production function and income analysis and measuring the contribution of rice farming to the income of rice farmers in Ajubissue Village. Research was conducted for five months (May – September 2024) with the conclusion that rice farming contributed 68.57 percent to income with an average income obtained from rice farming of Rp24,515,600

    Red chili is one of the leading horticultural commodities with significant economic value, making it widely cultivated by farmers. The high demand for red chili seeds among farmers has led to the emergence of various seed brands in the market. Increasingly intense business competition drives companies to optimize their best product outcomes. A good brand image can provide farmers with confidence that the seeds have high quality, durability, and satisfactory yields. This influences farmers' preferences in deciding which brand of red chili seeds to purchase. This research aims to determine the influence of brand image on the purchase decision of red chili seeds. The study involved 100 red chili farmers in the Pasirwangi District as respondents. The analysis used includes classical assumption tests to examine the questionnaire items and simple linear regression tests to determine whether brand image affects the purchase decision. The results of this study show that there is a significant influence of brand image on the purchase decision of red chili seeds by farmers in the Pasirwang

    Tofu agroindustry is a business that has very good and profitable prospects. Because tofu is a food source that is high in protein and is in great demand by the public, the demand for tofu is increasing. This high demand certainly has an impact on the need for soybean raw materials. To find out the added value of local and imported processed soybean products, it is important to carry out research to determine the high or low added value produced by a business using different types of soybean raw materials. The aim of the research is to analyze how much income the tofu agro-industry uses local soybeans and imported soybeans as raw materials, to analyze how much added value the agro-industry uses local and imported soybeans as raw materials in Situbondo Regency. West, Central and East are tofu production centers spread across Situbondo Regency with a total of 50 tofu agro-industry respondents. The research method used is descriptive and analytical methods. The data analysis used is income analysis and added value analysis using the Hayami method. The research results show 1) The income of the tofu agroindustry made from local and imported soybeans is each profitable, for local soybeans Rp. 1,107,288,- while imported soybeans are Rp. 1,985,152.-2) The use of local soybean raw materials is an average of 103 kg/production process resulting in an average of 109 tofu boards per production with an added value of Rp. 8,682,-/kg, the value added ratio of local soybeans is 37% in the medium category. Meanwhile, imported soybean raw materials average 172 kg/production process producing an average of 143 tofu planks/production process with an added value of IDR. 10,256/kg, the added value ratio of imported soybeans is 42% in the high category

    Komparasi Nilai Tukar Petani Perikanan Tangkap dan Perikanan Budidaya di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan

    This study compares the economic welfare of farmers in the capture and aquaculture fisheries sectors in South Sulawesi Province through an analysis of Fisherman’s Exchange Rate (NTP) as an indicator of purchasing power and economic stability. Secondary data from the South Sulawesi Central Statistics Agency (BPS) were used to examine the development of farmers' exchange rates in both sectors between 2018 and 2022. Statistical analysis shows that the NTP in the capture fisheries sector is higher than in aquaculture, indicating relatively better welfare in the capture sector. Results from a paired sample t-test reveal a significant difference between the two sectors (p < 0.001), with a more stable average NTP in the capture sector. This study recommends technological and infrastructure support for the aquaculture sector to improve economic stability. The study has implications for more adaptive and sustainable fishery management policies to enhance the welfare of fishery farmers in South Sulawesi.

    Kemuja Village, West Mendo District, Bangka Regency is one of the rice paddy production centers in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province because Kemuja Village has a potential rice field area to be cultivated with a land area of 344 ha. However, rice cultivation in Kemuja Village faces problems in the form of suboptimal rice production. This research aims to: (1) find out the amount of rice production in Kemuja Village, West Mendo District, Bangka Regency, (2) analyze the factors that affect rice production in Kemuja Village, West Mendo District, Bangka Regency. Using the survey method, data was obtained from 30 respondents of paddy rice farmers in Kemuja Village, West Mendo District, Bangka Regency who were selected through purposive sampling. The data in this study were analyzed quantitatively using the descriptive method and multiple regression of the Cobb-Douglass production function model. The results of the study show that (1) the average amount of rice production in Kemuja Village, West Mendo District, Bangka Regency in one planting season is 1,283 kg. (2) the factors that affect rice production in Kemuja Village, West Mendo District, Bangka Regency are seeds (X1), urea fertilizer (X3), NPK fertilizer (X4), and pesticides (X5)

    The leading commodities in Simalungun Regency will provide a strategic position to be developed with various considerations. The plantation sector in Simalungun Regency has quite a lot of potential to be developed. There are several plantation commodities planted in Simalungun Regency such as rubber, coconut, cocoa, candlenut, aren, areca nut, robusta coffee and arabica coffee. Identification of leading commodities, especially in the plantation sector, is strategic to increase economic growth. This study aims to identify leading or base commodities in Simalungun Regency. The data in this study uses secondary data from Simalungun Regency in Figures, North Sumatra Province in Figures, and research journals. Data analysis to identify base commodities uses location quotient analysis. The results of the analysis show LQ> 1, so it is categorized as a base commodity. Plantation commodities included in the base category are palm oil, arabica coffee, robusta coffee and tobacco, while non-base commodities are coconut, cocoa and rubber

    Loa Kulu Subdistrict is one of the centers of agricultural production in Kutai Kartanegara Regency. In recent years, agricultural production has decreased due to several factors, including the conversion of agricultural land, climate change, limited access to agricultural technology, and uncertainty in farmers' welfare. Sustainable agriculture aims to provide food for the increasing food needs without environmental damage. The purpose of the study was to determine the sustainability status of paddy rice farming in Ponoragan Village and to determine the attributes that have sensitivity. The research used a descriptive quantitave approach with a purposive sampling technique with eleven key informants in this study. Data analysis using multidimensional scaling with RAPFARM software. The results of the research on paddy rice farming in Ponoragan Village have a multidimensional value of 43.90% (Less Sustainable). The social dimension is categorized as sustainable, while the economic, ecological, technological, and institutional dimensions are less sustainable. The economic dimension has three sensitive attributes, namely marketing structure, land ownership, and farmer profits. The ecological dimension has two sensitive attributes, namely chemical input dependency and irrigation. The social dimension has one sensitive attribute, namely farmer education level. The technological dimension has one sensitive attribute, namely the response to technology. And the institutional dimension has one sensitive attribute, namely subsidy assistance

    Rice farming is an important agricultural activity in meeting the main food needs of the Indonesian people. Rice farming needs to be supported by adequate sources of financing. However, in practice, many farmers still have difficulty accessing farming financing because the agro-ecosystem conditions do not support each other. The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between farmers' access to farming financing and their agro-ecosystem support. This study used a quantitative research design using descriptive and inferential statistics. The sample size of the study was 281 rice farmers in West Java from cluster random sampling results. The results showed that the majority of farmers generally consider that all indicators of access to farming financing to be still not supportive. Meanwhile, for the agro-ecosystem, farmers considered that most agro-ecosystem indicators had supported their farming except for OPT attacks which according to most farmers were still difficult to control. Correlation analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between farmers' access to financing and agro-ecosystem support for rice farming in West Java
