This study aims to 1) analyze the driving and inhibiting factors of crafters in running a moulded coconut sugar business, and 2) determine the closeness of the relationship between internal and external factors that influence the motivation of crafters in Pageraji Village. The research was conducted using a survey method in Pageraji Village, Cilongok District, Banyumas Regency. The focus of this study was to examine the motivation of moulded coconut sugar crafters in Pageraji Village. Respondents were selected through simple random sampling, resulting in a sample of 119 individuals. The data were analyzed using instrument testing, descriptive analysis, likert scale, and spearman rank correlation analysis. The results show that income, market security, and business continuity are the main motivating factors for moulded coconut sugar crafters in Pageraji Village running their businesses. There are no inhibiting factors that are considered to hinder the moulded coconut sugar business activities, only the risk factor of the crafters when extracting sap and the attachment of the crafters to middlemen, which are considered neutral as inhibiting factors. Family dependents and market security have the strongest correlation with the motivation of moulded coconut sugar crafters in Pageraji Village (correlation coefficient of 0.98), followed by age and risk (0.76), and income and business continuity (0.52)
Studi Korelasi dan Regresi Antara Jumlah Pakan Terhadap Produksi Ikan Bandeng di Desa Kendalkemlagi Kecamatan Karanggeneng Kabupaten Lamongan
Milkfish (Chanos chanos) is a fishery product that is one of the leading commodities in Lamongan Regency, and ranks fourth in its production in East Java after Sumenep, Gresik and Sidoarjo Regencies. This study examines the correlation and regression studies between the amount of feed and milkfish production in Kendalkemlagi Village, with the hope that it can be a basis for supporting the sustainability of milkfish cultivation and improving the welfare of farmers through increasing optimal production results. This study is a quantitative study with a purposive sample method in selecting its samples, and the calculation analysis used is correlation and regression analysis. The results of the study obtained a correlation value of 0.994 indicating a very strong and positive relationship between variable X (amount of feed) and variable Y (milkfish production), meaning that the more feed given, the higher the milkfish production. With a t-count value of 18.17 which is much greater than the t-table of 2.776 (df = 4, ɑ = 0.05, two-way), then H0 is rejected, this means that the relationship between the amount of feed and milkfish production is significant. Then, from the linear regression equation Y = −191.33+0.71x, it means that an increase in the amount of feed will be followed by a proportional increase in milkfish production, so that there is an influence between the two

Chicken meat is rich in protein and moisture, making it susceptible to rapid spoilage when exposed to harmful microorganisms. Therefore, it is essential to maintain high standards of hygiene and service during sales and slaughter processes. This study aims to explore the relationship between the characteristics of broiler chicken traders—such as age, education, business experience, sales volume, and income—and the level of service provided in selling chickens that meet hygienic standards. The research was conducted in September 2024 at Ciroyom Market, located in the Andir District of Bandung City, West Java. Respondents were chosen randomly, resulting in a sample size of 31 individuals. The Spearman Rank correlation test was employed to assess the relationship between the two variables. Findings indicate that most broiler chicken traders fall within the early adulthood age range (15–40 years), possess a medium level of education (junior high to senior high school), have significant business experience (over 10 years), and report a medium sales volume (2,708.40 – 18,736.76 kg/month) along with a medium income (Rp. 4,887,869.25 – Rp. 28,528,259.78/month). The service level of the majority of traders is categorized as medium (64.52%). The characteristics that demonstrate a significant correlation with the service level for selling hygienically slaughtered chickens are education, sales volume, and income, while age and experience do not show a significant correlation.
