    Gaya Hidup, Status Gizi dan Status Menarche Remaja Putri

    Menarche is the first menstruation for girls. . Lifestyle changes are believed to be a major factor in the decline in the age of menarche. Changes in lifestyle are due to the progress of civilization followed by changes in humans, ranging from changes in diet to changes in lifestyle. The most common unhealthy lifestyles are consuming fast food and snacks/snacks, rarely exercising and often accessing adult mass media. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between lifestyle and the incidence of menarche in students at Junior High School. Design This research is a quantitative study with the Cross Sectional method (cross-sectional) which aims to see the relationship between the dependent variable and the independent variable. This research was conducted at SMP N Jambi City at 2022 with a sample of 75 people taken by purposive sampling. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate analysis with Chi Square test. The results of the study obtained that the most respondents were at the age of 13 years, namely 29 people (38.7%). The education of the majority of respondents is grade 9 by 43 respondents (57.3%). The description of the menarche status of the majority of respondents is not normal by 38 people (49.3%). Overview The majority of respondents' lifestyle is good by 39 people (52.0%). The majority of respondents have a nutritional status of 38 respondents (50.7%). The results of the Chi-Square test obtained p value = 0.116 > (0.05), meaning that there is no relationship between lifestyle and the incidence of menarche in students.     One disease that often attacks old age is type 2 DM. The number of DM cases is increasing. Differences in gender and nutritional status (BMI) in blood sugar levels in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes at the Dinoyo Community Health Center, Malang City, were the aims of this research. Cross-sectional design and observational methods characterized this study. questionnaire-based data collection using a sample of 32 people selected using the quota sampling method. Man Whitney test was used to analyze the collected data. The results of the research showed that female respondents experienced an incidence of diabetes of (59.4%) and respondents who had an obese nutritional status experienced an incidence of diabetes of (93.8%); There are differences in blood sugar based on gender (p value = 0.007) and nutritional status (p value = 0.000) in elderly people suffering from type 2 DM at the Dinoyo Community Health Center, Malang City.     Anemia in adolescent girls aged 15-17 years is one of the main health problems in developing countries, especially in Indonesia. Knowledge and attitudes of adolescents and their mothers about anemia can affect their iron consumption. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the knowledge and attitudes of students and mothers about anemia with iron consumption in female adolescent. This is a cross-sectional study with a random sampling technique. Respondents were 67 pairs of female adolescents and their mothers. Collecting data in this study by filling out a knowledge and attitude questionnaire about anemia, and iron consumption was measured by food recall 2 x 24 hours. Data analysis in this study used the chi-square test.  The results showed that adolescents with insufficient iron intake were 34.2%. 47,8% of adolescent girls and 44,8% of mothers have less knowledge about anemia. Meanwhile, the attitudes of female adolescents and mothers towards anemia were not good at 19.4% and 38.8%. Statistical analysis revealed that female adolescents with high knowledge (p-value: 0.000) and positive attitude (0.021) were more likely to consume high iron intake. Mothers' knowledge about anemia also showed the same result (p-value: 0.039), but not with their attitude (p-value = 0.969). In conclusion, female adolescents knowledge and attitudes in term of anemia are important in maintaining adequate iron intake

    Ulceration of the foot in diabetes is common and disabling. It frequently leads to leg amputation, and the risk for leg amputation increases 10 to 30 times higher among the general population. 85% of leg amputations are performed due to diabetic foot ulcers, which can affect the quality of life and be potentially life-threatening. Diabetic foot ulcers are preventable by performing foot screening. The study aims to determine the validity and reliability score of diabetic foot screening questionnaires. The study used an observational descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach to the samples of 35 out of 40 populations. Respondents are selected using simple random sampling techniques. The instrument used was the diabetic foot ulcer and blood sugar observation sheet. The data were tested using SPSS 26 using Pearson Product Moment and Cronbach's Alpha test. The majority of respondents were female, the age ratio of the respondents was 65 years, the blood sugar rate was 234 mg/dl, and the ankle-brachial index rate was 1.04. The Pearson Product Moment results showed that the rcounts > rtable (0.334), while the reliability test using Cronbach’s Alpha value is > 0.60. The diabetic foot screening questionnaire is declared valid, reliable, and appropriate to detect the risk of foot ulcers in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.     Early marriage is a marriage under the age that should not be ready for marriage.  The age limit for marriage is 20 years for women and 25 years for men. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with early marriage in Kebon IX village, Muaro Jambi. This research is an analytic research type with a cross sectional design which in this study studies the relationship between risk factors and disease (effect), observations or measurements of the independent variable (risk factor) and dependent variable (effect) are carried out once and at the same time.  The variables studied were knowledge, parental income level, education and parental belief in early marriage, population 33 people, research sample 33 people.  The source of data in this study is primary data, data obtained through questionnaires used by Bivariate and Univariate analysts. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and early marriage (p-value = 0.000 0.05), parents' income level (p-value = 0.001 0.05), education level (p-value = 0.000 0,  05), and the level of parental confidence (p-value = 0.003 0.05)

    Perineal laceration will cause bleeding during delivery, causing maternal death. A stiff perineum is an indication for an episiotomy. The occurrence of a very broad perineum can cause heavy bleeding in the mother during childbirth. Destination this study aims to determine the effect of perineal massage on perineal lacerations in women giving birth between the experimental group and the control group at the Sindang Jaya Public Health Center. This quasi-experimental research uses an Experiment and Control Group design. The population in this study were pregnant women in the third trimester with gestational age <34 weeks. The research instrument consisted of a checklist and a partograph as a measuring tool. Data were analyzed using normality test. Result a P Value of 0.000 (<0.05) meaning that there was a significant difference between lacerations in the experimental group and the control group.Conclusions and recommendation is perineal massage for pregnant womenable to prevent perineal laceration during labor. This perineal massage can be applied in private midwifery practices or carried out by patients themselves at home regardless of parity

    Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are one of the causes of health, social and economic problems in many countries, and ± 500 million new cases of STDs occur every year worldwide. STDs are the gateway to HIV infection especially syphilis. Syphilis can increase the risk of contracting HIV up to 300 times. The negative consequences of STDs as infertility, stillbirth, congenital abnormalities and cervical cancer. The purpose of this study was to identify the experience of adaptation of STDs sufferers. A qualitative research with phenomenological approach  to 10 participants (2 syphilis patients and 8 HIV/AIDS) which were selected purposively. Data collected using in-depth interview, observations and documentation. Interviews were IMS Clinic and VCT Puskesmas Putri Ayu  and HIV/AIDS sufferers communities in Kota Jambi (Yayasan Kanti Sehati Sejati). Data collection on January 13-16 February 2021, personal interviews last 60-75 minutes and concurrent interviews are 75-120 minutes, recorded with a voice recorder. Data were analyzed descriptively through theme analysis, results 7 themes related to the experience of adaptation of STDs sufferers: 1) complaints and physical complications of STDs  sufferers; 2) the psychological impact of STDs; 3) STD risk factors; 4) STDs treatment; 5) efforts to prevent recurrence/severity; 6) coping mechanisms for PMS sufferers; and 7) behavioral responses of STDs sufferers: physiological, self-concept, role function and interdependence

    Efforts that can be made to reduce interventions in midwifery services are holistic midwifery care. Holistic care is care using a comprehensive concept so that it can detect early and prevent possible complications that will occur immediately. Midwives as health workers who play a role in maternal and child health are expected to be able to provide care with a holistic understanding of women. The innovation of holistic midwifery care in the Independent Practice of the Palembang City Midwife has not been popular among midwives in the City of Palembang. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, motivation, years of service, training, education, and age with holistic midwifery care innovations in midwifery independent practice services in the city of Palembang. This study used a quantitative approach, with an analytic survey design and a cross-sectional design. Statistically there is a significant relationship between knowledge (0.000), attitude (0.028), and training (0.003) with holistic midwifery care innovation in midwifery independent practice services. Statistically, there is no significant relationship between motivation (0.600), years of service (0.705), education (0.161), and age (0.753) with holistic midwifery care innovation in midwifery independent practice services. The variable that has the greatest relationship with holistic midwifery care innovation in midwifery independent practice services is knowledge. The holistic approach is the most comprehensive approach in health care, so midwives are expected to increase their knowledge and attitudes through training related to holistic midwifery care so that they can provide holistic care in midwifery practice

    Pregnant women really need good nutrition, especially consumption of animal protein for fetal growth so as not to experience obstacles and give birth to babies with normal birth weight. perinatology of Karsa Husada General Hospital. The sample in this study was taken using puposive sampling as many as 40 repondentsres. Correlation test using Pearson's product moment. This study showed that most (67.5%) mothers consumed animal protein in the low category during pregnancy and (52.5%) the babies were born with a baby weight of <2500 g. The results of the analysis using the Spearman rank test showed that the value of p = 0.01 or p < 0.05 and the value of r = -.623 showed a strong correlation and had a negative direction, meaning that the higher consumption of animal protein in the mother, the incidence of LBW will be lower. From the results of the study, it can be recommended for pregnant women to consume good nutrition, especially consumption of animal protein during pregnancy for fetal growth and give birth to babies with normal birth weigh

    Efektivitas Konsumsi Jus Mentimun terhadap Penurunan Tekanan Darah pada Wanita Hipertensi Usia Produktif

    This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of cucumber juice consumption on the reduction of hypertension in women of productive age 20-45 years. The quasi experiment research was used pre and post test with control group design, using a sample of 36 respondents each of 18 respondents for the experimental group and 18 respondents for the control group. Sampling technique using purposive sampling in the working area of Puskesmas Wado, Sumedang, West Java. Analyzed using non-parametric test that was Wilcoxon test and Mann Whitney test to determine the difference between groups. Before treatment was given the mean systole and diastole of the experimental group 160.22 / 96.11 mmHg. The experiment group respondents were given cucumber juice in the morning at least 30 minutes after breakfast for 14 days. After treatment, the respondents of experiment group systole and diastole mean’s are 142,78 / 86,11 mmHg. The result showed there were a significant difference in systole and diastole in the experiment group before and after cucumber juice intervention  (p<0.05). There were a difference systole and diastole between the experimental group and the control group  (p<0.05). For the conclusion there is an effectiveness of cucumber juice as a non-pharmacological alternative treatment to reduce blood pressure
